He is a great teacher, especially compared to the other ISDS teachers I've taken at CSUF. He explains everything well, and is very willing to help. He even lets class go early everyday. I wish he taught 361B.

One of the Easier Teachers for ISDS 361A. He is a very nice teacher. His tests are fairly easy if you did your HW. He doesnt collect HW & Tests are all Multiple Choice!! Take Him! You will Pass!

DR. KAPOOR IS THE BEST ISDS PROF. HE EXPLAINS IN PARTS WHERE STUDENTS UNDERSTAND BETTER. HE IS ALWAYS HELPFUL, CAN ASK HIM QUESTIONS AT ANYTIME. HE HAS OFFICE HOURS TO HELP OUT STUDENTS. I REPEATED THIS CLASS WITH DR. KAPOOR AND LEARNED THE THINGS I DID NOT LEARN THE FIRST TIME. HE DOES NOT COLLET HW, M/C EXAMS. EXAMS ARE EASY IF YOU DO THE HW.

TAKE this class online, piece of cake. The homework is soooo easy, all you have to do is FOLLOW directions and your guranteed an A on the homework. As for the exams I think 50 multiple choicE ?'s. Exams were more focused on the IST book then the other 2, there were ?'s regarding Access and Excel, but just do the online quizzes and you'll do fine.

Entry level IS/IT class for grad students. If you are an IS major you have no excuse to not get an "A" - this is an easy class. No H/W, 1 group report, 1 mid term and 1 final (all m/c). Report can be on mostly any business related IT technology (security, MIS systems, etc). Professor is good, but seems some info he gives is outdated.

I took the online class and got an A. Homework is really easy and tests are based on the text and similar to the practice exams online.

The most patient prof. I've ever seen. He will explain things over and over, until you understand. 3 tests and 2 sets of excel assignments (which are very easy). Tests are fair and he lets you use a page of notes. Do the homework and you should get a A or B

He gives 3 tests and 2 Excel assignments. The first and third tests are easy, but the second test is a little more difficult. The Excel assignments are a breeze. He allows a sheet of notes for each test. You have to take Dr. Kapoor. He is very nice and extremely patient. Go to class, do the homework and you should be fine. Dr. Kapoor is the best!

Dr. Kapoor is great. He makes sure the class understands the material before he moves on. You still have to know the material. The tests can be tricky at times. I'm glad I took him...great teacher.

This is hard/complex subject. Practice the problems over and over. Go to class, his exams are straight out of his lecture notes. Dr. Kapoor is best prof. for ISDS. M/C exams, two easy XL take home project. He is great, take him and you'll be glad you did.

OMG!! I don't think I've ever met anyone as nice/patient as Dr. Kapoor. Take him he is absolutely the one to take for ISDS peroid. Add the class early b/c he will NOT add ANYONE regardless of any excuse or reason first day of class so Act Now and register for this class while you still have a chance to take him. I didn't pass his class and I feel like a total idiot. He's a great teacher and has taught this subject very well. It's not that hard to study for, but just don't be lazy. Kapoor will help you out a lot if you need it, never hesitate to ask him questions. I'm trying to add him right now, hopefully I get in again for a 2nd shot at this.

He is the best ISDS professor. Go to class & make sure you do the homework, easy bucks. MC tests and he pretty much gives you the test questions on the review day.

Dr. Kapoor is avery patient teacher. If you don't understand the materiaal, he will go over it with you. Do the homeowrk, though!

Class was fair, most questions on tests were from lectures, attend class and just make the effort. Include definitions he gives during lectures and examples on your cheat sheet. I got an A in the class.

You have to attend class, if not you will miss out on concepts and theory. Frist test was easy, second test, very hard, the final, I aced it (28 out of 30). Ended up w/a B in the class, no curve whatsoever, what do you expect, he is a math professor! You have to listen very closely to him, he speaks softly and with a thick accent.

In my honest opinion, Professor Kapoor wasn't a "great" teacher. Pros-he's a nice man, patient with students, and his lectures are pretty understandable. Cons-not very approachable in office, only goes over HW questions 3/5th of the time, it doesn't seem like he really prepares for the class, and tests aren't much like homework. Wish I took Skordi~

I thought ISDS was going to be harder. You have to go to his class, pay attention, and take good notes. The two projects were fairly easy. Hes a good, patient teacher. Never did the homework and i dozed off alot and i still came away with a C. Make a good cheat sheet that you actually understand. Good luck.

I thought he was great. He was really clear and extremely patient. He definitely went over all the HW. I never studied until the evening and day of, which i don't recommend, but I still walked away with a B. Make sure you go to class, take notes, and make a good cheat sheet.

One of my favorite teachers. He give good lecture notes (should go to every class, otherwise you'll be lost). Give good examples and willing to help with the homework problems. Be sure to do the homework if you want an A. 2 computer projects, 2 exams, and a final. Exams are require you to understand the subject well.

Professor Kapoor's notes are crystal clear, though written small. Pay attention in class and make sure to do the homework and you will be fine. Super easy homework and projects. His explanations make a difficult subject simple. A page of notes allowed for his multiple-choice midterms. A breeze!

Kapoor makes Stats an easy subject. The KEY to getting an A in his class is to attend EVERY class and take down notes on everything on the board.. and I can't emphasize enough how important it is to DO THE HOMEWORK!! the homework helps you a lot!! I got an A in the class :)

He was okay teacher, he tries to help you with hw materials a lot and his notes are really helpful for the exams. Just attend class everytime and go over the homework and the notes and some examples in the book you will get an A.

Professor Kapoor is a great instructor. The course subject is tough, but you can achieve success if you stay on track with lectures, homework assignments and quizzes. I can usually glean information without having to study; not the case with this class. I studied very hard for each exam and will end up with an A or A+.

While this is an online class, the exams are given on campus. Professor Kapoor tapes his lectures and posts them online. While he will answer your questions via e-mail or the class forum, he also has office hours if you need them. Most of the points in the class come from the midterms and final. Do the homework and STUDY!

Exams are not easy. First one is easiest and the next 2 are hard. Make sure to study a lot for them. Textbook is confusing but the online lectures are very good. I did not understand anything until I listened to the lectures. Project, homework and online quizzes are relatively easy. Focus most of your time on the exams for sure. Recommend him.

This was the first time I have taken an online course where the professor uploaded video lectures. Dr. Kapoors video lecture proved to be extremely helpful when it came to understanding concepts in statistics and with the online homeworkquizzes. Given that this hard topic is hard to learn even more when you dont have direct face to face time with the professor - I got a lot from watching the recordings several times until I understood the concept. The professor was very helpful and was willing to meet a different times to go over any questions.

I admit I pretty much screwed up by not doing anything every week for this class. Being online, you really need to be diligent to be able to keep up with the material. Exams are tough but you get a cheat sheet. I recommend watching his lecture videos weekly to understand the material instead of learning from the textbook (steps were not clear).

Dr. Kapoor is a really nice person. The hardest part of the class is the material itself. He gives you a month or so to finish each set of homework. He has lecture videos available for each chapter. Allows a cheat sheet which helped a ton during tests. All tests (2 midterms, 1 final) were on campus. The course was very organized and clear.

Lectures are very clear and organized. Read his online material, it will help you do well in the class. Read instructions carefully. The course has two portions, Excel and Statistics. Statistics is based on Excel.

This class didn't seem easy at first, but that's only because I didn't study well enough for the first midterm. But after that I did great on the other exams. His exams are not hard at all if you read his Powerpoints and do the practice problems he gives you. Make sure you do the extra credit because it really does help. He answers emails quickly!

For an online class Kapoor did well in giving you everything you need to pass. Short HW, a case study, e/c quizzes. Only used book a couple times. I'm generally a decent student who does put in effort to study, I ended up with a 79% by writing out hw problems, reading all slides, watching his ex videos, verify problems in excel, hope this helps.

2 midterms and a final, about 9 homework assignments other than the excel part. Got a D on my first test and a B on the next two tests ended up with a B in the class. Great professor, will help if you go an ask him. He posts videos that help, take this class online, so much easier.

2 midterms and a final. 9 homework assignments (you get a month to complete each). 5 easy excel assignments. 1 short case study report. 3 extra credit quizzes. Try and pad your grade before final! Got D on first test B on the 2nd and a D on the final. Still passed due to 100% on hw and quizzes.

Tough course and was nervous taking it online, but the powerpoints are amazing. Teaches you step-by-step which you can write on your cheat sheet. the first exam had more write-in answers, but the second and third had more multiple choice questions. STUDY THE PPTS REALLY GOOD and make a good cheat sheet ! take his online course!!

Don't listen to people rating him badly for this semester. I'm in his ISDS361 A and it's the easiest class I've taken. The people using discord to "teach" themselves aren't taking good notes and are too busy chatting during class to copy the basic formulas you need. This professor is super nice and does a great job overall, just take good notes!

I'm taking his ISDS361 A class rn and it's pretty easy. I don't understand why so many people try to complain about him. I guess people dont like how blunt he is? He's pretty to the point and gives us everything we need during the lectures and in the notes. Just show up and write everything down, like formulas and stuff, and you'll pass.

Dr. Kapoor is a great 301A professor. He lets you use a cheat sheet on each exam and does have some extra credit opportunities. It is a hard class, but he provides all the important formulas in class. If you know what he goes over in class, you should be fine with the homework and tests.

This is one of the best professors I have had! He has an old school teaching style but makes it extremely clear what will be on exams! He also has projects and if you put in good effort you will get extra credit! By far one of my favorite professors and I would urge you to take him in this subject!!!

Best professor I've had. His lecture style is old school, he has a book with his notes and writes everything on the board in great detail, which is much better than talking through a PP, so take good notes. Allowed a 1-page note sheet on exams, homework doesn't take much time, and there's one project towards the end.

Professor Kapoor's lectures are helpful in understanding the material, but sometimes there are lags or pauses because they are Zoom meetings. The study guides and practice problems he posts are helpful in studying for the exams. The project (Phase 1 and Phase 2) is somewhat time-consuming so start early if you can.

Dr. Kapoor is a good and caring professor. Attendance is not mandatory, but going to class helps he goes over many examples. You are allowed a cheat sheet on exams, and the exams are not difficult, but they make up most of the grade, so studying is highly recommended. There is one project divided into two phases, and it is really easy.

Notes are written out every class, and he go over examples clearly. Excel is taught through videos and there is a test on it. Not many homework assignments, 4 exams. Very clear professor, textbook access is needed for assignments.
