Easy class, tons of busy work. Test are apparently a challenge for most students, excluding myself, but overall easy. Take him, his lectures are very entertaining.

lectures are interesting. he keeps you entertained with real life examples. exams are a challenge. questions often seem to have have more than one possible answer, but he adds a bunch of points to each one. final is comprehensive. one short paper - 2 pages - and easy. highly recommend.

He is extremely helpful and actually likes to teach students. You will for sure learn a lot about managing a business. His exams are the hardest part of the class, but if you average your exams with a C grade, you can still pull off a high B or low A

He is the best! This class can be challenging if you are not motivated but it is hard not to enjoy with Bommer as your teacher. You can tell he truly cares about the subject and is actually concerned with his students learning something that will help them in the future. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! if you are unable to add immediately, keep checking often!

The test are not easy at first but he does curve each test about 18%-10%. All I did was study the powerpoints but the powerpoints wont make since unless you go to class. The hardest part about this class is the virtual part, make sure you sign in at least four times a week. Besides that hes an amazing teacher.

Excellent professor. One of the best I've ever had. Learned more in one class with this professor than I did in most of my undergrad classes. It's a lot of work, so be prepared to work really hard to get through his class. Tests are difficult but fair. Tests are from half lecture notes and half book material.

Entertaining professor - never a dull moment. Doesn't believe in spoon feeding you...there's no review sessions or study guides. He helped write the textbook so everything on the exams are straight from the book. Just do well on the other parts of the class (lab and virtual) and should be fine. Read & study the book and you'll pass.

Not a hard class if you read the chapters. The lectures are pretty interesting because he clearly knows his stuff and is very comfortable in front of the class. The tests are odd because they are situational, and this makes them very tough if you don't read thoroughly. Fear the virtual portion of MGT110 more than the lecture.

Even though I got a C for his class, I have nothing but good things to say about this instructor. He knows his stuff, very interesting and insightful. Does not really answer emails because he has a 300 student class. Dr. Bommer prepares you for the real world with virtual proj. and assessment Ctr.

Great professor, knows his stuff. Test are application based. Just read the material and you should be fine. Plan ahead for Virtual Projects to be successful other wise your in if for a ride on the virtual part.

Dr. Bommer does a good job of keeping lectures interesting. He also covers the material for the most part but you definitely need to do the assigned reading. He was clear and fair in his grading and the class assignments and projects were practical for personal development. Highly recommended.

Dr. Bommer is hilarious! Try not to laugh at his ridiculous scenarios based off of Donald Trump of Breaking Bad. They're hard but light hearted so you won't freak out during the test. Work well with your virtual team. Come to EVERY class because some test questions are based on videos only seen in class

Don't try to beat around the bush. He co-wrote the textbook. Wonderful instructor. Passionate, hilarious, knowledgeable in multiple fields, obsessed with 80's hair bands. Don't let the charm fool you. This was one of the hardest classes I've ever taken. There is so much to do, and for Executive MBA students there are only 4 weeks to get through it.

As long as you read the book, you should pass the class. He likes to talk about himself a lot. The lectures end up being a waste of valuable time. Just read the book and find out what happened in class from your group that you get assigned to.

Pretty cool teacher, tries to make the lecture enjoyable. Lectures are really boring and if you dont go you have to read the textbook to have any clue on the test. Only grades in lecture are the exams, and labs are just show up for credit. Virtual portion is awful depending on your group.

Bommer lectures off of Prezi presentations and requires the textbook he took a part in writing. He's a funny guy, and his tests aren't difficult as long as you study.

Dr. Bommer is a nice guy and a great lecturer, but his lectures are boring and pointless, I never attended class because I just read the textbook and passed all of the tests and did well enough in Virtual and lab to receive an A. Most people I talked to didn't do as well as me, find a test bank and study hard and you'll be fine. I'd take him again.

Interesting lectures. Be sure to pay attention to the videos shown in class, because there will be questions on the tests. On the subject of tests; they are not easy. Study each chapter carefully and review all the concepts from lecture. The main project in this class is a virtual group. Time consuming, but easy if you work hard. Always attend labs

Bommer is one of the best professors that I know to actually have good teaching ability skills. As long as you go to class, take good notes and review over the chapters that will be on the exam you should do fine. His tests consist of around 40 multiple choice questions.

Solid MGT 110 professor. Knows what he is talking about and gets you very engaged in the lecture. He is very approachable just based on his personality, but has a somewhat dark sense of humor, so if you get offended way too easily do not take him. Overall fun class to attend, I look forward to his lectures and his stories.

Professor Bommer is a great professor, he's very clear about the topics he lectures on. There is a lot of work for the virtual part so be ready to do research. The lab is really easy, just focus on the videos presentations. Make sure you start beforehand on the video presentations!!!

Great professor for the lecture part we did not had any homework just the exams. The exams are tricky, you have to know the concepts very well. The lab is super easy and fun just make sure to work on the presentations ahead of time. The virtual part is not hard it all depends if you get a good group. Over all good class.

If you have the opportunity to take this class over the summer I cannot stress enough how incredible it is to study abroad. Dr. Bommer is an excellent professor, his lectures are very entertaining and fascinating and he has a lot of good experience in the world of business. If you have the time get to know him better and learn from his experiences.

Overall an enjoyable professor. His section is easy enough, it's the virtual portion you should be concerned with, and even that isn't too difficult, just depends on your group. Dr. Bommer is an excellent instructor. He inspired me to start to like the leadership and management area, which I used to dislike it before. Hes very knowledgeable and full with experience in most of management areas. I took his classes for both my undergrad and MBA program. Hes fair to everyone in term of grade.

DON' WORRY ABOUT LAB! VIRTUAL IS NOT HARD EVEN IF YOU THINK YOU ARE WITH A BAD TEAM! Read the book and study the slides, you will do really well in class. Tests are common sense but still if Management isn't your thing just make sure you know people in the class so they can help you. This class made me pursue my degree in management even more now

Dr. Bommer is fantastic. I really enjoyed his lectures, I wish he taught more undergraduate courses. Show up and take notes, read the chapters and slides, study. Standard and straightforward class with clear expectations.

The lecture portion of the class is the majority of your grade and is only based on four exams, but many of the questions are common sense. Not hard to get at least a B in lecture and you can make up for it in the virtual and lab portions of the class. Prof Bommer makes the lectures interesting and up to date with current events.

Not sure about the negative comments, but my experience with Bommer was great. Just email him, state your problems and let him help you. His responses could be curt sometimes, but straightforward and helpful nonetheless. Lectures are not long, most are enjoyable since he has a good humor and willing to listen. Just read and stay alert of notices.

This course is very easy to pass if you perform well in the Lab and the Virtual portions.

He's a chill cool guy with a sense of humor, but he tends to ramble about random unnecessary things during his lectures a lot. There are just 3 exams, 1 big group project, and your lab grade. Exams aren't super hard but you definitely have to think and apply the concepts. The more you come to class the better you'll do.
