He gives homework every monday and is due the following. He can be very helpful and understanding. But your grade may suffer if you don't do the homework, or miss quizzes

I hate math and I find it hard but he has made the semester bearable and can be encouraging if he sees you working hard. So many people dropped the class... how can you drop math 93? You have to start somewhere!

Very helpful. Huge homework, but if you do everything, you can pass with an "A". Quizzes every week, 4 major tests, every test contains entire material. You have to study hard and do all assigned problems. Dedicate about 5 - 8 hours each week to do homework. If you do so, you should have no problems with passing his class. At first sounds scary,

He is a great teacher. I had not taken any math classes in many years so was very nervous about it. He took his time to make sure we understood the material.Did not give that much homework and the tests covered what you should already know. Will take again if I need more math.

He was a great teacher.He was very helpful in class and out of class. He was very clear in making his points. His tests were normal math tests. The information he taught in class was exactly what he tested on! He even gave us serious hints as to what the tests would have on them! GREAT TEACHER!!!

He is a great teacher. From the beginning of the class year he tells you what to expect so there are no surprises. He goes over everything very well and on the class day before each test he reviews everything. Very helpful and I would take one of his class again.

He is such a great teacher! I went into this class hating it every bit of math and he really helped me understand everything. If you need help he is always there and tells you to go to his office when ever you are confused. The tests are hard so be sure to study for them. He gives a lot of homework, and expects you to do it. Wold take him again!!!

Great teacher. I wish he was teaching more Math classes. I would love to take another one of his math class because he really helps you understand everything and if you don't he goes over it with you until you do.

I like his teaching skills,e verything he teaches is understandable but i agree with the no people skills, i wouldve liked it if he couldve tutored me and not the students at the center, one they dont speak english and two they explained it wrong and i failed a test. I will take him again only because his notes are great.

Class moves fast, Bill is willing to work with you to make sure you understand the material, stays after class to answer questions. WARNING... TESTS ARE INSANE (hard does not express it enough) but you will learn. If you want am easy "A" look elsewhere. If you want to learn, you will!!!. Oh yeah, rent a forklift to move the stacks of homework.

As long as you do the work and pay attention in class you will do fine. Yes you have to do every homework problem in all the sections, but how else are you going to learn without practicing? The exams aren't that terrible. And he always made it a point that if you needed help he is willing and available. I really enjoyed his class

all of the homework exercises in the book are assigned. i took the math for health/dosage calculations. he ensured that in addition to the material he taught us test taking techniques and other types of math problems in preparation for the TEAS test. He cares that we are prepared for the health related fields. Technical Math meets Common Sense!!

i thought this class was very easy. i got an a in the class, you just have to make sure you go to class everyday and do the homework assignments. its pretty self explanatory. hes helpful, but the course to me was easy. there were 4 quizzes i think and mid term and final. overall, id take him again if he taught math 93

We had lots of homework, but necessary. The test were right in line with the homework. He was always available before and after class for students needing additional help. I'm having a fairly easy time in 124, and feel confident I'll do fine because of the skills I learned in 095. I'd highly recommend Bill Frost.

Very good teacher. He gives a lot of homework, but it helps with the tests. He also will explain any question asked. Also the class was easy, only four tests.

He is tough (don't even think about letting him see your cell phone) but explains the problems well and relates them to real life situations.

Frost makes it so easy to understand the concepts of algebra! Would def take him again, wish i would have taken him for 96. Homework is easy mymathlab, and if you understand the hw the tests are a breeze! ;)

He's a nice man, with very good notes and he gives examples in real life. The book is very helpful and he actually goes by it. It's still a tough class but if you pay attention you'll be fine. Not very helpful to students, just tells them to go to the tutor but he will answer your questions in class. Can get cranky if you have phones or food.

This professor is hard. He is bad at reviewing and he never fully explains anything unless you ask. His homework asignments never match what is on the test so be ready for anything. He does give grades for weekly quizes and homewrk. His test are what will kill you. He is a nice guy and very good at math. He needs to work on preparing his class more

Frost is a very nice man. He makes math very clear. He can be a little confusing but nothing to totally throw you off track. Just pay close attention do the homework and you'll be fine.

Professor Frost can get a little off track when going over things with you but he gives great notes! Also, he has an office where he can help you with homework or quiz questions you may have so that's helpful. Overall, I think he's a good professor. Not an easy grade but if you stay focused and pay attention and review your work you'll do fine!

Mr. Frost is hands down the BEST math teacher ever!! I have hated math since high school and just couldn't grasp it, Mr. Frost changed my outlook on math for the better.Highly recommend Mr. Frost for sure!

Took his math 91. I've never been good at math but he made the subject easy to understand. He's always available after class to answer any questions. He's pretty laid back but serious when it comes to the material. I would take him again.

I was a little nervous the first day of class because he seemed really rude. However, he turned out to be a really great teacher! Math is very difficult for me but he really helped me understand it! Warning, do not text in his class. Actually turn off your phone...I was scerd for my life when he caught the guy next to me texting. Just don't do it:P

Mr. Frost is a very good alegbea teacher. His test are very difficult. You will learn alegebra in his class if you do the work assigned and study for the tests. It was a bit stressful, but he is a good math teacher.

He is a great teacher. Just do the homework and you will do fine. If you do not understand anything, Mr. Frost has office hours available and the Math lab is helpful as well. Also, make sure to take notes during his lecture, it is very summarized compared to the book. Do not use your cell phone during class, he will warn you at your first class

Great Professor. Assigns a ton of homework out of the textbook, but is very lenient on how he grades it. His tests directly reflect what you did for the homework! Attending class is a must; Math 128 is fast paced and he clarifies a lot of techniques that Blitzer uses.

When I started Frosts class I was confused because it was a couple years since I took math. He explains things very well and simple enough for anyone. It helps a lot that he follows the book so you have a second source. Frost is one of the best math teachers I have ever had. Some parts were tricky but he helps you to understand the challenges.

Before Prof. Frost I was barely scraping out a C in my math classes, but I left 128 (a super hard, fast paced class) with an A. You only need the textbook for HW, which he does give a lot of, but the fact is you need repetition to do well in math, plain and simple. Extremely fair grader, gives tons of partial credit. Will take him for calculus.

Math 121 is going to be a hard class no matter who your professor is. Mr. Frost does a good job of helping you out the best he can, he gives a lot of partial credit on tests and really wants everyone to pass. He does move very fast but each test is just like the previous one so if you study your tests, your scores will improve. Good teacher.

Professor is very helpful. If you don't understand he will stay and help. Do the homework and listen to test advice he gives. Never tests on anything he hasn't taught. Very good math class. I don't like math and I got an A.

Go to class and take notes.He doesn't use the book most the time.But I thought his notes were less confusing so I didn't mind.I hate math and I passed with an A.If you do your homework and take the quizzes and tests you will do fine in his class.Also follow the syllabus.You will go over problems if you don't understand.He's a really nice guy.

if you show up and due the hw and quizzes you will pass. homework due first class of the week every week quiz 2nd class every week test every 4 weeks

Professor Frost was one of the few math teachers I actually enjoyed. I am taking him again this semester. He is always willing to help and makes time after class to help you. As long as you show up, do the homework, and asks questions the class is easy to pass. It's up to the student to show up and put in effort not the professor's.

Frost gives clear directions on the subject, he is great at giving us the info we need. I didn't understand a homework problem and he walked me through it. he goes over any questions before you turn in the homework and a whole class is review before an exam.

Pre-Calc was a hard subject but he does drill it in your head with all the homework he gives. There's a quiz every week and a test each month ( 3 tests and a Final) doesn't drop anything but he's always in his office or in the tutoring center so he can always help you. He's pretty cool though because this class could be a lot worse.

Lots of HW but grades it as a whole-goes over HW problems before you turn it in. ASK lots of questions he will explain-never makes you feel stupid for asking. HW 1st class of week, Quizzes 2nd class. Been out of school for 20+ yrs and got an A. Gives partial credit on Tests and Quizzes. But took all semester to loosen up. Taking him next semester.

Bill Frost was a great math professor. I am not good at math, but he made this semester fly with ease. He is funny and very helpful. Beginning of each class he asks if there was any trouble with homework or anything else we have learned so far. Extremely nice. Although he doesn't tell you your grade until the end of the semester.

To start off, I am not very good at math. This last semester (Spring 2015) this was the class I worked on the hardest and ended up with a C. I was at the Math Resource Center every week. The professor explained everything the best he could but the subject was hard overall. You will need to study a lot and make sure you turn in ALL of your h.w.

Frost was one of my favorite teachers I've had, ever! I took his class a few years ago, but there was never a time where he wasn't helpful. His notes and lectures are very clear, but you should make attendance mandatory for yourself. An A is typically easy for me, and I took this class a couple years after high school. so yay!

My experience with Professor William Frost was quite an awesome, educacional route with mathematics. Even if I dropped his class, I hope for him to be my Math Professor next semester. God only knows why I dropped his class, but next semester I will definitely be looking forward to.

Bill Frost is amazing! I've taken him for 96 and 124 and managed to pass each time. He doesn't take attendance and if you miss class, you need to ask one of the students for the hw. He usually has quizzes every Wednesday so be prepared because they are hard. The tests are easy enough as long as you pay attention and do the hw. Always ask questions!

he gives a lot of work which is expected in a math class. His lectures are very long but are very clear he makes sure that you understand what you're learning I really enjoyed this class and I'm sure it would be easy if I liked math.

Frost encouraged us to utilize the available resources, such as the Math Resource Center and tutoring options. I visited the MRC after every class to study and ask questions, which helped immensely. His teaching style is excellent, and he consistently took time to explain to anyone needing clarification. Do the homework, then repeat if needed!

I had a great experience taking professor Frosts course. He explains material in new perspectives I found easier to understand. Attendance isnt mandatory but its recommended to go to class. I did little studying and still pulled off a B.

Professor Frost taught from his own book on the things he felt needed to be taught. He skipped the messy stuff that was not needed. You have to go to class he goes through several sections a day. A lot of his test problems come straight from his homework. Great teacher!

Only 4 tests but were very VERY hard , I would encourage you to use the math resorce center down stairs ! Other than the test its a pretty easy class , just do homework , pay attention and study. He doesnt care if you go to class but his attendance check is pop quizzes every week

Strict, need to have your phone off. But he will make sure you know your stuff. There is a lot of homework. Do it so you can keep up with the class. There are 4 tests total. He doesn't check the homework. But he does give you credit for doing it. Need to do the homework to learn it. He does respond to phone calls and emails quickly. Book is free.

I'm somebody who has always struggled in math but this class was pretty easy for me. If you do the homework he assigns you and listen in class there is no way you wont pass.

Professor Frost does a great job of explaining the material in an easy way. He expresses concern in wanting to help everyone understand & emphasizes the availability of external resources that students have available. You could teach yourself the textbook that he provides for free, but I preferred learning through lecture since he teaches so well.

Took the class online and it's pretty much self guided, you don't really need the professor unless you need to ask questions. The professor has video meetings available if you want to join and sends reminders if you haven't taken an exam yet. Professor is fine, he is basically just there to submit grades.

Professor Frost is a great teacher. He has his way of doing things but trust me he has your best interest in mind. Be prepared to work hard for your grade. This is college after all. He is quick to answer any questions, and the best part is he provides the material. He has earned my respect and makes me wish I had more math classes to take.

Took this class and thought it was going to be bad because of the previous ratings but as long as you do his study guides and hw it shouldn't be so hard. Fast replies, can redo hw questions as much as you want, uses myopenmath for hw, only 4 tests that can heavily impact your grade (study and you will have a good overall class grade)

Professor Frost was good, but lots of homework if he reduced the homework to half and the testing not cumulative his class would be great.

I feel very thankful that I took this class. Math has never been a strong subject for me but this professor was extremely helpful. He wrote the book for this class and it is free. He explains things the way he will be grading them. I absolutely recommend this class even for people who aren't great at math!

You will need a lot of hours to understand the work, provides a free pdf of book. Lectures are recorded go at your own pace. I recommended you listen to the lecture but make your notes strictly from the book as it will help in the test! You have unlimited attempts to get good grades on homework by deadlines which is usually two weeks.

Professor frost, is very straightforward and lets you know what he is grading you on. He does various thing throughout the semester to help you. Read the text book and study so you can pass. Not a difficult class.The other comments are very misleading about how he operates his class.He should be a easy class if you put in the effort and do the work

Frost was a great teacher in the sense that he gave 1 hw assignment a week thats easy work & gave plenty of time to do it. Ontop of that he gives you full points on hw even if the answers are wrong. The only downside is that it was A LOT of hw problems. The tests were easy but the last 2 tests he was more picky on the answers.

Good course! I took the online Math 126 and 127 course with him and enjoyed both. It is a class where you teach yourself but the website we used was amazing. It had notes, videos, past tests, just overall very good system. I never contacted him but from the videos he occasionaly did he seemed very friendly and funny. Take if you can be accountable

Professor Frost's class is a mixed bag. The homework is easy, but there's a lot of it. Tests can be picky, but the free textbook helps. Definitely utilize unstuck ai and other study tools to stay on top of things.
