He is one of the smartest people I have ever met. I learned a lot in the class but it was challenging. There is an average amount of homework. Plus he has a good sense of humor.

The smartest teacher I have ever had. I learned so much from his class. I now think more critically. He changed my whole way of viewing the world. Nice guy too.

Fantastic teacher. He is extremely intelligent and passionate about ideas. I learned more in his class in one semester than in any other 3 classes. He is quite funny too and makes the class enjoyable. I found his tests somewhat hard. Recommended.

He is the best English teacher I have had. I looked forward to attending his class each week. He is very, very helpful to students outside of class and is easily approachable. Demands a lot but gives a lot too. He has high standards.

He actually loves his job and likes helping students. His was the only English class I ever felt good about. He makes students rewrite A LOT, but they DO learn in his class. I like his sense of humor too. Highly recommended.

Great prof. He explains things very cleerly. I am LD, so I needed a lot of extra help which he provides. I like the lateral thinking puzzles too, but I cant solve many. I plan to take Mr. Hall for other classes too.

I have him now and his tests make you think. I love the lateral thinking puzzles. He does a lot of group work and class discussions which I like but dont take his class if you dont want to read. We read a novel and a lot of other stuff. I like his class.

Mr. Hall is a great teacher. I learned more in his lab class about writing than I did in my lecture class. He does make students write a lot and revise each paper several times. No multiple choice tests. You have to know your stuff.

I think Bill Hall is a great prof and he adds fun to the class. A lot of group discussions and puzzling exercises. He's leniant, but not too much. I thought he was a cool guy and I would take him for a different class!

He was very funny and made the class interesting at times. The matieral was easy to get because he went over it alot. He genuinely cares about reaching out to his students which is why I believe he teaches this way. He is a heavy set man but much more exciting than most professors I hear about. I had Prof Hall for 2 classes this semester and he was fantastic in both. He really makes learning exciting. He demands a lot but takes the time to help students who need it like me. He spent hours each week tutoring me in the tutor center. Plus he is very funny. I love Mr. Hall and will take every class I can with him.

Mr, Bill Hall is a really great teacher. He is patient and will go over your papers with you as much as you need. He requires a lot of revisions, but he does give a higher grade if you improve your papers. He explains the grammar so that I can understand the rules unlike my high school teachers. Prof Hall is fantastic. I learned an incredible amount in his class not just how to read better. He teaches critical thinking and how to really analyze what you read. I was never bored in class. Very likable guy. Respects students and wants to help them do well. Explains everything clearly. Very helpful when asked. Funny. Laid back class atmosphere. Extremely smart man! Fair but somewhat tough grader but allows students to rewrite their papers for higher grades as often as they like. Students love him. A+ professor.

Professor Hall is my all time favorite teacher. I LOVE his class. I took him last semester for basic writing, and he taught me more about writing in one semester than I learned in all of high school. This semester I had him for reading, and again I learned SO much from him. I now read very critically and think much better than I did before.

good teacher helps the students the best he can and if you pass the exam with a 90% or higher he changes all your test grades to be the same as your exam grade

Mr. Hall will teach in a way that everyone will stay interested. He is very willing to privately tutor you, look over writing assignments for your other classes, and take the time to explain how to build your vocabulary. He is an excellent teacher all around. Due to Mr. Hall being so fantastic,I won't take Comp until he teaches the class in spring.

Billy is a okay guy, but he does come with some flaws. He claims that Apple makes the best computer, and I can tell you that is not true; therefore, Billy is blind to the propaganda Mr. Jobs is dishing out to the American youth. Also, as for his class teaching he usually can whip up something good with the right tools (tools = Good Students.)

Prof. Hall is incredible. He has a sky high IQ b ut is very down to earth and laid back in class. I learned more in his class than I did in all my high school English classes combined. Ask around and you will see that Mr. Hall is the one to take.

MR. Hall is a GREAT professor! He made me really want to become a good writer. I liked the way he explained grammar and how he taught the proper way to write paragraphs and essays. Another professor, Mr Ballard, told me that Prof Hall is a walking encyclopedia with a brain the size of a basketball and he was right. I have never met anyone who knows so much about so many things. Being in his class was like taking 5 classes in 1. I learned a LOT and really improved my reading and critical thinking skills. Prof Hall is GREAT!!

At first I was intimidated by Prof Hall's extremely high intelligence, but after the first week I felt really comfortable in class. His teaching style is laid back and fun. He is a stickler about attendance and being on time. Tests are not too hard if you study. He goes over everything until the whole class gets it. He loves teaching and it shows.

I took Prof Hall this summer. His class was hard because it was only 10 weeks long, but I LOVED the way he taught. I learned SO MUCH from his class every day. Mr. Hall..... I like Mexican food; however, he does not like tacos was my favorite sentence that I used to learn how to use conjunctive words. He is an perfect example of what a professor should be. Now, I am breezing through more difficult course that require critical thinking. Mr. Hall you rock!

After i took mister hall comp 1&2 where a piece of cake. he is hard don't fool yourself. if you don't work you wont pass but he sets you up for success.

Mr. Hall is a truly wonderful instructor. I have always been a bad writer, but Mr. Hall changed that for me. He is very patient with students like me who have trouble with English. He encourages students to see him for 1 to 1 tutoring that really made a difference to me. Please take him if you want the best not the easiest.
