Had Bill for 2 classes, SCMS 306 & MKTG 471 - this dude is a great guy. Smart as hell, super funny, real easy to talk to, and loves to tell cool stories about his life in the business. He's very helpful and really down to earth. Take his classes, you will enjoy them!

One of the best teachers I had at Chico State. Explains the material very well with real world examples and good stories. Not only will you learn the material but you will gain some good overall knowledge of the business world. If you go to class and pay attention he makes it easy to do well in the course. This class is a joke. His lecture is the most brutal thing I've ever had to sit through. The only reason to go is b/c 3 times during the semester he'll have a "quiz" where you write your name on a piece of paper and get 25 points. He's definitely a cool guy, and it's pretty easy to score well- but you will hate his class.

I had some problems with my SAP labs and Maligie offered to come on campus on a day when he was not scheduled to help me. My first contact with him was on this issue. Very impressive! Bill is an excelent professor. About half of the class doesnt show up for lecture, but I guarantee you will learn something you can apply once out of the class. He incorporates a lot of real life business experiance into the lectures from his experience. One of the best teachers at chico state. I would definitely take one of his classes again.

Bill is a great teacher. You will learn alot from lectures and he always answer questions. He responds to emails quickly and will give you his time if you need it. Take Bill if you get the chance. My best teacher at Chico so far.

He is a savage teacher. I learned a lot in his class. It was interesting and useful. His test are easy just use the study guide but you learn a lot I wish more teachers were like this. Somethings were unclear, but that is because i knew nothing about computers. Take him he is great and funny.

His class was easy. To get an "A" from his class is not hard at all. Find out the answers from the study guide is the best way to prepare for his mid-term and final. Test questions are the same as the questions from the study guide. If you have any problem with this class, talk to him, he will help you to solve the problems.

midway through the semester - Very chill professor, funny guy, class is not mandatory, gives very helpful life examples related to the book, cares about his students, gives a lot of advice, was a CEO of AMT, exams are easy just follow the study guide and with no doubt you should get an A. I would take this professor again if i ever had a chance!

1st off, MINS is a joke! Ridiculously stupid class, including all required material covered. Bill made the class easy, almost as if he knew that we all thought the class was an absolute joke. Hardly went to class and still received an A. Never opened the book, gives you the questions to the midterms. Only downside would be the time consuming HW

Great professor, had him for distribution as well. Always willing to go the extra mile to help you out on a project. He really wants students to do well and doesn't make you study unnecessary material that wont be on the test, very straight forward. take ANY class you can get with Maligie!

VERY EASY!!! go to the lectures!!!! if you go and take good notes and review slides your do great on exams! i never opened the book. Bill makes things modern and makes the class fun. I would take any class with bill. he knows his stuff and make the class great and easy to relate stuff

Randomly takes attendance. Instruction is detailed and funny. I would have to say that group projects make up to much of your grade so be careful about that, you don't choose your group. All in all not to bad should have no problem getting at least a b if you try.

Bill is the greatest asset the College of Business has. He is clear, understanding, professional, and a very nice guy! He relates class material to the real world--something most professors fail at. Go to class, study the book and slides and you will do fine. He always makes the material interesting and ON-POINT! Take Bill!

Bill is a good instructor. He's very clear and easy to understand. Tests are not terribly hard although I did have to study for them for a few days prior to the exam. For the final, a friend of mine prayed that I would get a 100 on it, and what do you know, I got a 100 and I had been scoring in the mid 80's on prior exams. Tripped me out a bit.

Bill is great teacher and has a lot of business experience to back up everything he says. Great guy and you will learn a lot. Tests are always a reflection of topics discussed in class and are pretty similar to the study guides. Make sure you put the necessary work into the group project and you will be fine in this class.

I found this class invaluable. He has experience in a variety of businesses and positions makes him a well-rounded teacher. I gained different perspectives of thinking which is always nice. The Target project takes a while but has its benefits.

Pretty cool guy and a pretty relaxed class. Goes off on tangents about his experiences in the business world that are much more interesting and meaningful than the book. Exams are easy as he gives a study guide covering the whole exam. I would definitely recommend him.

Not the most exciting international marketing class, but he's totally nice. Motivation to go to class was minimal since posted the PPTs on which most of the tests are based online.

I had him for 2 classes and they are exactly the same. You don't really have to show up either because he doesn't take attendance.

Professor Maligie is a great professor who cares about his students and the material he teaches. I took SCMS 306, MINS 301, and MKTG 305 with him and he made the subject matter relevant and interesting for all of the courses and makes sure his students come out of the classes with a great understanding of the subject.

Bill was a fantastic teacher, he's passionate about what he's teaching and he has real life experiences - very interesting recounts that compliment the course content really well. He genuinely cares about each of his students and will go out of his way to help you to get good grades. He also accommodated the international students really well!

His lectures are BORING, but he's a great guy and tells you exactly what to study for in a study guide before the test. I liked Maligie, just bring a laptop to class and copy what he's talking about and watch his videos and you'll be fine. Tests are easy and there's no homework, definitely recommended.

One of the best teachers I've ever had. He give you everything you need to know to get a good grade in the class. He gives you study guides that are fairly easy to find the answers in the textbook, no tricks.

The LearnSmart homework helps with the midterms. He is very organized and everything you need is laid-out on Blackboard Learn. One of the best Profs I have had at CSUC.

Great instructor, lectures are boring when he relates to manufacturing. Attendance not req. unless its a presentation day. Class projects are easy if you get in a good group. Gives helpful study guides but not everything is covered, read the textbook and you'll learn a lot. Go to lectures for topics you are interested in. Makes marketing fun.

Bill Maligie is the MAN! He knows business and can teach it too. MRKT 305 was one of the few classes I actually looked forward to this semester. Professor Maligie's lectures were very informative and enjoyable. He provides some of the best examples which made learning new concepts easy.

Cool class. We only met a few times over the semester. Most of the work we did on our own. Just do all the assignments, come to the mandatory classes, study for the tests(study guide provided) and you'll be fine. And you'll learn more about computers too. Mr. Maligie is an awesome teacher. I will definitely take him again if I have the opportunity.

Fair homework that gives great experience. Thought provoking movies. Tests that you have to read for. Overall a very good class. He has real business experience and has a lot to learn from. To me, he seems like a great businessman who turned out to be really great at teaching as well. Rare combination these days. Highly recommended.

Maligie is awesome! This class is super easy, and we only met once every 2-3 weeks. Just complete your assignments and show up to class on assigned days, because you get like 20 points just for being there on that day. There's 4 tests the whole semester and each one with a detailed study guide. Exactly whats on the test!!

Bill relates his real life experience to teaching his classes. Most professors just regurgitate concepts and you never understand them, not the case with Bill. I have taken three major courses with Bill and would recommend Bill to any students at Chico to take any of his classes for a required course.

I really liked his class! He has a good sense of humor and really knows his stuff when it comes to computers. He knows a lot about business and he shows really interesting videos. I felt like I learned the material but the class was so easy. It was awesome overall.

Professor Maligie is a great guy. His lectures aren't very long and he enjoys participation. He is also very good about responding back to email. tests are just as the study guides are laid out and straight forward. As long as you pay attention you'll be fine Homework consists of excel projects. I recommend NOT doing them at the last minute.

Bill is willing to help. Go to his office hours. I went throughout the semester since I didn't do good on the midterms and passed the class. There's a lot of info but he provides study guides which are very straight forward on what you need to know for the midtermsfinal. He doesn't want you to fail. I encourage you to take him.

This class is partially online which is super nice for busy schedules! Maligie is very clear on assignments, due dates and what is expected on tests. He provides a study guide and as long as you report back to the book when completing the study guide, you should get an A or high B! Hope this helps!

Lectures aren't required but there is a group project that has multiple steps throughout the semester. The project overall is pretty easy, basic marketing, and he isn't a very hard grader. Tests are straight from the study guide and overall aren't very hard if you do complete study guide. Definitely recommend taking him if you can!!

One of the best teachers at Chico State. Very respectful of students and understanding. Class is very clear you just have to put in work. Easy A if you put in effort.

Bill is a great professor, I recommend you go to all his lectures because most of what he has to say ends up on a test and he's a likable guy. If you ever have questions he will definitely take the time to explain things to you. I found the textbook to be useful mainly for studying as his lectures are normally very comprehensive.

Bill is an amazing professor. He is nice, respectful and will take the time to help students. He makes it clear on what he expects. This is mostly an online course. Do the connect assignments, quizzes, and simnet, very simple to do. 3 exams that are not too hard if you study. He provides study guides, which are easy to follow. Easy A. Take him!

This class is 100% online. Half of your grade comes from 2 tests, 1 in the middle of the semester and the other at the end. Not a lot of homework but you do need to do it all or else you won't get a good grade. There are many small assignments so make sure to stay on schedule. Not a hard class so if you do all assignments and study for the 2 tests.

Bill is the man. Quick responses to emails and helpful when you need it. Class is super easy and straight forward. Do the work, make an effort, do the study guides and you have no reason to not get a good grade.

Online class, so not much communication from Bill, but this class was easy. You're allowed to work ahead, so it was great to stay ahead. Tests are easy, just be familiar with ALL study guide material. Test are about half your grade, so don't take them lightly. Worst part is the 3 videos w/ random questions on the final. 2 are a real waste of time.

The course (mins 301) is pretty straight forward. I took his online class and he was still very kind and accommodating for an online teacher. I reccommend going to his office hours at least once if you take his online class and need help or even to just meet him. He's a nice guy!

Not a hard class if you do all the assignments. Put it the work and you'll get an A. DO the study guides for the exams, they help a lot and the exam basically follows right along. Maligie was very responsive and helpful.

I took this class online. He is a really good professor! This class is very straight forward as long as you finish all of the assignments. Bill is also a really nice professor, he constantly sends out announcements regarding the class. He is also always available when you need help with the SimNet projects and other assignments.

Bill has extensive and impressive real-world experience which was neat to hear him tell stories about. Take his online class, as he said it himself that the in-class option was pretty unnecessary. The online homework was sometimes a bit much, but all the tools were given to us to succeed. He was pretty good.

I have taken him for two classes because he is the best. He has really cool real-world experience. He uses those personal experiences as very effective examples that result in remembering concepts for the tests. He can be a little repetitive, but it's helpful. He is very flexible and listens to and respects student feedback. Highly recommend.

Great teacher. Engaging lectures and interesting videos that showed us how supply chains are actually used in the real world. Most of the assignments come from Learnsmart, so as long as you get ahead of those you should be fine. Study guides come out before every , so as long as you pay attention and study the study guides, you'll do well.

Bill is a pretty funny guy and his lectures are interesting because of it. He sprinkles in real life experience so it helps lectures stick more. Roll is not taken with the exception of the case study presentations No homework, only 3 multiple choice exams (study!!!), and then a Target Case Study group project.

This class teaches you exactly what you need to know. Awesome professor, uses Proctorio on exams to keep ppl accountable. I liked how straightforward he was for both OSCM and this class. Just finished his MINS 301 online class at CSU Chico for the 18' fall semester. He is extremely fast at replying to your emails and overall very relaxed about helping you out. He gave me credit for 2 missed homeworks and even rounded my grade up when I asked him about it. The class is extremely organized and structured!

Although there's alot of homework but they are pretty straight forward. I took online class so I do not know how he look like but he was nice enough to round my grade up when I emailed about my grade. As long you do your works, you are able to pass tge class.

He reaches out and really connects with his students. His course are very straight forward and you need to learn definitions.

An honest and knowledgable professor. Only four items make up the entire grade - 3 exams and 1 group project. Class attendance is certainly not necessary. He is extremely meticulous about details, so make sure you follow the instructions for the group project exactly how they are written. Would highly recommend Bill!

I had Professor Maligie for the online version of the class. It was relatively simple and consisted of mainly learnsmarts, quizzes and 2 tests. Proctorio was used for the tests. We also had simnet (with it's projects, that were relatively easy, just time consuming). Honestly, just do the work and read and you'll probably get an A. He's pretty cool

If you want to earn an easy A, take this teacher. It consisted of learn smart, connect quizzes and the exams. Little effort was put into receiving an A, but if you want someone to teach you and to actually learn then I would take a different teacher. -ONLINE FALL2019

Bill kills it, easily one of the most knowledgeable professors in Business Dept. Funny guy who has interesting lectures and conversations with the class, definitely a professor you'd wanna get a beer with.

Definitely one of the best professors of all the business options. Shares real world experience and relates a lot of content to current world business. Class is engaging and fun and you will learn lots. Had him for multiple classes and highly recommend choosing him and even exploring the major of OSCM.

Bill is a great professor and is very knowledgeable in this subject. His lectures are a tad bit boring, but he tries to engage students and gives out as much extra credit as he can. Uses videos and real life scenarios to convey the material and his exams are pretty much straight from the smartbook quizzes and lectures.

Bill class is pretty straight forward. I enjoyed it Show up, have your camera on and answer the questions during his lecture (the bonus pts really add up on the test). Everything is laid out well and due during the same times of the week. You don't even have to really study outside of class, just try and you will definitely pass.

This was the first time I had a class by Bill. I'd take all my classes with him if I could. Laid out well, expectations are set early and the format is easy to follow. He's oldschool and I love that! Do your work or don't, show up or don't, its your problem not his.
