Hands down the most EXCELLENT mathematics professor! Mr. McClure has been the most helpful math teacher I've had in a long time. He is 100% on his students' side. His good sense of humor lightens his classroom's atmosphere.

i liked this teacher very much, he made math pretty easy, and always would answer any questions you had. The grade is based only on quizzes every week, and the midterm and final. However his main pet peeve is if you fall asleep in class, and when people ditch the friday class.

He is the BEST math prof EVER, and I've taken all of them at OCC. He explains the material in a way which you can understand even if your worst subject is math. This is the easiest math class ever! You won't regret taking this class. Your grade is based on 3 exams and a final. He takes the highest grade of the 3 exams and counts it as a 4th exam. How cool is that? There's HW but it's super easy and he doesn't assign a lot of problems. He collects 1 random HW on exam day. Attendance isn't mandatory! =)

Professor McClure is a great teacher. i think he's the best math teacher at OCC. he makes everything very clear, and is extremely patient if you need help. He'll teach and if you ask for help, he will help you understand the materials better. i recommend him because he's a great teacher and a really kind and patient person.

Mclure is chill, hes funny and tells a good 5 jokes per class period and some of them are actually good. His lectures are like 2+ hours so they are sooo hard to sit through but he does a great job of trying to keep you entertained. only grades come from tests, he explains everything SO CLEARLY.redundant even but it helps.

If you are a hardworker but still have a problem understanding math and getting that "A," THIS is the professor to take. Precaution: he has a great reputation and his classes fill out quickly. The man will do almost anything to help you to learn. He makes math easy by dividing the material into TINY steps that each step is easy to comprehend.

I took him for both MATH 154, and MATH 157. AMAZING teacher. He explains everything really well. Got an A in both his classes. Definately would recommend taking this class. Great teacher. he's very clear on what he teaches and does it very well. Funny guy, very random but funny nonetheless. The only thing I did for the class in terms of studying was doing all the homework and got 100+ on all the tests. Very straightforward and easy if you know what you're doing.

In a University, classes are directed by PROFESSORS, who are more worried about getting their books published in order to keep their jobs!! Wonderful teacher. The subject is difficult, but McClure makes it fun! He's very VERY helpful and caring. I wish there were more professors like him. He makes sure you understand the material, if you have questions he answers them thoroughly, if you need extra help, he's there for you. Do the work, study what he tells you and you'll pass.

Simply said this man is the best math professor in all of Orange Coast College, and actually may be the best professor I have ever had. He does a great job of keeping your attention with some jokes. But on a more serious note he knows what he's talking about and explains it extremely well. If you need either cal 1 or 157 take it with McClure.

He's ok, tries to be funny, cool guy =). The material is kinda diffucult so you need to put in alot of effort. Make sure to learn how to solve the complicated questions on homeworks or examples...more often than not he'll use em on the exam. Do yourself a favor and learn Math from Uncle Bill! He makes complicated techniques easy to understand, answers any questions you may have, responds to e-mails, goes over homework in class, and he's a funny guy. Copy down his notes (which are very clear) and problem examples during lecture...they're a big help when doing homework.

Mr. McClure is one of the best math professors I have ever had in my life. I went to all his lectures and attended many of his office hours. He is really helpful and wish he taught more classes. If I had to take Cal 1, I would take it with him.

The last math class I took was geometry, 12 years ago. Uncle Bill makes Calc easy to understand and is very willing to help. Homework is a must if you want a good grade but it's easy, just takes a lot of time.

Bill McClure was an awesome precalc teacher! Standard amt of hw with a random assignment to grade per homework packet. He doubles your highest exam grade and is very very thorough in his teaching and examples. He goes through the hw problems each day and will take the time to explain if you don't understand. Stays 30 min after class ends every day

Bill is such a caring and hard working professor! He really tries to make sure his students succeed, but that does NOT mean this is an easy class. I have no idea why his easy rating is so high. A ton of our class failed exams and even dropped the class. I did get an A but had to STUDY! If you think you won't have to you're in for a rude awakening!

The other ratings I read of him are not very accurate at all.... McClure is a funny and outgoing teacher that makes it fun, but he's very hard, he claims partial credit on things but it's nothing, and he grades very hard.... Instead of that he is helpful.... But be careful!!!

Prof Bill (Will) is a very good teacher, he has been teaching for years and has experience. I haven't taken math for 2 years since high school, I was afraid of taking this class not knowing anything but Prof Bill is very clear on the material he is teaching and stays 30 minutes after class just to help you. I would take this class again.

He's one of the coolest math prof. @ OCC! I took the 10 week course with him. Really laid back in my opinion. if you don't hate math, this class should be easy for you as long as you show up and pay attention. He usually crack some jokes during lectures, so it's not boring at all. However, be prepared for finals bc it's harder than other tests.

He's the type of professor that takes time to warm up to. You may have to take each of his classes two or three times over again to pass but DON'T WORRY most students do anyways. Best way to pass his classes is to treat each one like it's two classes and to ask questions during classoffice hours. Also helps to get to know him on a personal level.
