Very tough class, but he is the best teacher. Very helpful and an overall great person.

Professor Tumblin has been one of my favorite professors at Clemson. He's a super helpful and nice guy who obviously loves what he does. He gives weekly quizzes which can be irritating if you don't do the readings. Lectures can be a little slow here and there but it's a fairly simple class.

Tumblin was one of my favorite professors here. He was so nice and so helpful and was always genuinely interested in what you had to say. His quizzes were a little tricky if you didn't read the articles and book over very thoroughly, but overall, he was an amazing professor.

Not a bad prof for an intro class.

Professor Tumblin is the man, great guy and really cares about his students and Clemson. BUS 1010 is an easy class and Professor Tumblin makes it enjoyable.

Tumblin is a boss. Great at what he does, and its not a hard class. He makes it clear what you need to do to get an A. Best bus1010 professor.

I liked Professor Tumblin at first but by the end of the class I could not be done with it fast enough. He takes it very seriously & is very strict for a foundations class and gives no wiggle room.

Bill Tumblin is a freakin awesome professor. If you need help doing anything whether about class or not he will gladly help you out. I had an idea for a business I wanted to start and he helped me out with it connecting me to people and even offering to go to lunch to talk about it. Bill is awesome take this guy you wont regret it.

Pay attention on your project directions and his class should be an easy A

This class only meets once a week (attendance is mandatory), and you will have to complete a weekly homework sheet which the quizzes will take the questions from directly. This is an EASY A!! Just do the hw, and you'll do fine. Professor Tumblin is also very helpful, and you can tell he likes his job and loves Clemson football very much so.

There are quizzes every class so make sure to go to class and do the homework sheets. He definitely is passionate about Clemson and his students. He's very approachable and open to questions. Make sure to pay attention to project criteria and again, the homework sheets (quizzes come directly from those questions).

Attendance is mandatory! Quizzes every class on the readings, and sometimes get called out so actually do the readings. Class is really easy if you put a little work into it. Really helpful for business majors in terms of planning for next couple years. I changed majors but this still counts as an elective that boosted my GPA.

This class was really easy and bill was super nice. There were post class and pre class quizzes that were super easy. The only homework was to write reflections on articles which really helped your grade out. Super easy class and easy A as long as you did the work. He is strict about attendance though.

Business 1010 is a pretty simple class anyway you have it, but Mr. Tumblin is a good professor. He knows Clemson well, and he knows business well. He also wants to develop relationships with his students which is nice.

He's super sweet and a great lecturer, but is way too strict on attendance. I had food poisoning and was dying, and he made me show proof. Overall, easy class and very informational for the business realm.

Assignments are not hard at all just a little time consuming. He honestly cares about making sure his students get the best out of Clemson. Absolutely no extra credit. If you miss any assignments you will regret it in the long-run, but you could try and contact him. Great guy altogether.

Professor Tumblin was my favorite professor this past semester. He's straightforward with what he expects and rewards you if you try. He also does a great job of connecting with students outside of the classroom and wants you to succeed. The class itself has a weekly discussion post, homework sheet, and quiz which took me about 1.5 hours per week.

Professor Tumblin is the best professor there is! Being my first semester here, he has been more than welcoming to me. He genuinely cares about his students and makes sure that they start building and working on the skills they'll need later in the future. I promise, if you go to class, listen and talk, you will gain so much more from the class.

The attendance is very strict and missing one class will heavily affect your grade. Professor Tumblin has a lot of great experience in business, and does his best to foster engagement in his class. Easy assignments too. Just make sure not to use your phone or other things in his class, he will call you out.

Weekly homework sheets that take a while to finish and are very article heavy. Weekly quizzes based off of the hw that are way harder than you may expect. He is nice, willing to meet outside of class, gives lots of info about things around campus, but he will never give you the benefit of the doubt so if your technology screws up you are screwed.

There's probably a little more homework than there needs to be in this class but it's not difficult at all. Get into a routine and get your work done every week and you'll get an A in the class. Tumblin is good guy, maybe a little full of himself, but he's very nice and helpful.

Tumblin is a great teacher and cares about his students but is strict on grading and class attendance. If you miss one class or are late, your grade is screwed. Homework wasn't the worst thing in the world as long as you manage your time correctly. I did like how he did musical trivia at the beginning of each class and helped me understand iRoar.

Professor Tumblin is definitely one of my favorite professors at Clemson University! He is very respected and really caring, his class is super fun and I enjoy interacting with him in class and outside of class. Definitely go to his office hours and build a personal relationship with him you will learn a lot from him!

He definitely favors the athletes, but it's manageable. Lectures are super easy to understand, and the only homework is the open-note take-home quizzes, which are pretty easy if you do the homework sheets. Attendance is mandatory, and if you don't attend, it does impact your grade quite a lot, and he makes you check in with an app.

This class is interesting but requires outside work and pre-class quizzes. Prof. Tumblin does his best to make the class engaging and more enjoyable with student participation. He gives out t-shirts and Arnold Palmers if you answer in class. I loved it!

GO TO CLASS!!! This class is easy if you get stuff done on time and go to class. I lost a lot of points because of late submissions. Stay on top of your work and show up and it is an easy A. He is a good guy and loves his job.

He was a really great professor and always tried to keep the class engaged. It is an important class for business majors but it does feel very boring sometimes. A lot of information is thrown at you and it's hard to retain all of it. The assignments were time consuming but helpful for navigating the business school.

Prof. Tumblin is a good professor, and you can tell he cares about Clemson. Grades are all off of attendance and take home/open note homework quizzes. You will be successful if you put in the work and do the homework sheets. Some people don't like him because he holds you to a high standard which is honestly ridiculous because you are in college.

Bill Tumblin is an excellent communicator, who explains concepts in a simple, effective manner. He holds his students accountable for the course work, while demonstrating a genuine care for each of his students. He is very accessible outside of class time and is always willing to invest in individuals outside of the course material.

Professor Tumblin is a knowledgeable man that does care about your success. However, he shows it a little odd sometimes. With that in mind, just make sure you pay attention and do you work, then you'll be fine. Practically everything is done at home, but isn't anything too hard. Overall, easy class and a good guy.

Tumblin is a very nice and respectful guy. He and his class are an excellent resource to help further your understanding and knowledge of business at Clemson. However, at times I found the homework to be annoying. It's mainly busy work that you simply have to get through.

Super chill and nice guy, starts class off with music trivia. The work/slides are alittle boring but he gives alot of great resources. As long as you pay attention and give effort it will be an easy/chill class. He has alot of great connections and is very willing to help you grow professionally.

Mr. Tumblin cares a lot about his students and that they are getting very involved on campus. He wants to see everyone succeed but he is a tough grader and you have to complete the homework sheets before taking the quizzes in order to do well. The weekly work consists of a pre class assignment and a post class quiz with an optional homework sheet.

Professor Tumblin takes his job very seriously, but he truly cares for his students. Expectations are very clearly stated, and as long as you do the work (which takes maybe an hour per week), you will be completely fine. Attendance is a large part of your grade.

Timed homework quizzes each week, article reviews towards the end, and 15-minute zoom interview. Attendance is a huge portion of your grade. Try not to miss class because he is not very forgiving. Cold calls if no one raises their hand. Obviously knows a lot about the business school so use him as a resource.

IDK what the misconception about Mr. Tumblin is, he is a very genuine and very smart man. I genuinely learned so much and it made the transition into college much easier. You don't learn about business as much as you learn about setting yourself up to be a successful business student. He is sometimes stern but he's very genuine and I loved it!

Class has a little too much work for a one hour credit class, but it is pretty helpful and he always emphasizes networking. His class can be a bit overkill

Professor Tumblin was amazing. He is a very knowledgeable with many skills to teach students. This class is amazing, especially if you're still deciding what to major in. Some of the reviews are bad, but as long as you do the work on time, you should have no problem getting a A, this is an easy class that teaches you so much for your future.

Guy has tons of connections, he's happy to help with career stuff as long as you're trying in his class/taking his advice. That being said, also thinks his 1 credit hour class is the most important thing on your schedule, and assigns more homework than he should. Do NOT miss class, -2.5% off final grade per absence. Hates phones during class.
