Vanderclock was a pretty easy professor, but IT101 is pretty standard for professors. Vanderclock treats students like they should always know exactly how to do everything so if you ask a question make sure it's a good one. You can retake all quizzes and assignments so the class can be an easy A if you put in the effort.

Vanderclock's class is pretty easy, especially if you are technologically inclined. But he is quite rude. He gets mad when you ask him a simple question and acts very condescendingly, even if you have a valid question. Even when he realizes he's wrong, he usually won't apologize and fails to acknowledge his mistakes.

If you like raising your hand in class and aren't afraid to be belittled by a Professor this is your guy. Even if not this is probably still your guy since he teaches the majority of the IT101 courses. Most don't like him because he's always grumpy but he explains well and if you're confident enough to ask questions he's very knowledgeable.

On top of that, it's super easy and the grading criteria are very clear, making it easy to get a A. Don't listen to all the hate he gets people are just salty, I would recommend.

The class is extremely easy. Professor VanderClock gives multiple tries on the quizzes, and allows you to look up answers during quizzes. Professor VanderClock is not the best at answering questions, and can get irritated when someone doesnt understand his explanations. He is pretty knowledgeable about excel and most basic IT concepts though.
