He was a fantastic teacher! I am pretty slow in math, hence taking a low math class, but Mr. Duke made the class worth going to. I really liked him and his teaching methods, they were very effective. He was always very through and patient. He never was hesitant to go over a problem more than once. I would recommend him to anyone!

good math teacher. doesn't assign homework, but you should still do some or else you will be lost. gives partial credit on test for problems that you get the wrong answer as long as you get the concept. doesn't mind questions. fair and respectful to students. can also be fun.

Duke is awesome. He takes the time to explain things to even the slowest of students and is always trying to make jokes to lighten things up. He knows his math and his passion for teaching shows. He's a good guy all around and if he taught higher level math (he's signed to teach lower level and remedial math classes), I'd take him again.

For anyone out there who struggles in math, as I do, please take Professor Duke. He is a great teacher and really knows his subject. He has a wonderful personality and makes class fun. He expects class participation and you better be on time...you might miss a quiz even if you are five minutes late. I would love to take my next math class with Duke

Billy Duke is awesome. Math has always been very hard for me, but he explains concepts so well that I can actually see what I'm doing now and what step is next. He is very helpful and will never throw in trick questions on tests. If I ever see him teaching a higher class, I'll probably take it just to take it. :) He's so funny too! No homework!

Awesome professor. If you want an A then you will get one regardles of your math skills. He will do anything to help you understand the concepts including tutor you outside of class. Attendance is mandatory and your are quized everyday, but they are usually easy. The tests are chalenging but he does a review the day before, so they arent that bad.

Let me just tell everyone that I have struggled with math pretty much my whole life. But now after taking Professor Dukes class, I understand everything and its actually kind of fun. HA! Hands down he is the best. He loves what he does and is great at it. And if you don't understand something he explains it and doesn't make you feel stupid.

Cool teacher. If there was 3 or 4 ways of doing a problem, he would teach them all. He will take the time after class to help you. Quizzes were super easy. His pet peeves are: not bringing a textbook or calculator, not giving him feedback, sleeping in class. Just come to class with a positive attitude. I highly recommend him.

Professor Duke is AMAZING! He's a fair grader and if you just come to class and pay attention, it's a breeze! If he doesn't agree with how something is taught in the book because it's too complicated, he teaches the short cut. Definitely recommended!

Very good teacher! Makes everything easy to understand. Has daily quizzes but drops your 2 worst. He gives a great study guide before each test which makes it easy to do good. Just make sure you always respond to him in class because otherwise he gets mad and threatens to give you more sections to learn.

Amazing teacher. Teaches everything really clear and is very reasonable on grading. Always a review before the test and tests are exactly what he tells you. There's no surprises. He was a good and easy teacher. I had already taken a class similar to this one so I had no problem in it. If you were new to this subject I would still recommend him however, he gets easily upset when a person doesn't know something they should. Also, he is big on particpation so if you don't like to chime in WATCH OUT! Overall, he was very good.

I took this class in the summer. He made the class go by fast and easy. He explains every concept well. There were 4 exams and no final. He taught math that was related to real applications.

Mr. Duke challenges his students through his speed of teaching. However he teaches the easiest techniques to math problems.His quizzes are quite easy too, if you practice enough by doing HW. taking his MTWR class was tough however because you'd be facing math everyday.He was an awesome professor though since he made math fun, fast and easy.

Algebra has always been challenging for me. Prof Duke was a godsend as an instructor, I never would have made it without his help. Billy is the best. I am the worst at math and was scared to take this class, but he helps you understand only the important stuff. He gives great test reviews and his tests are doable. If you are not good at math, take Billy! You will pass as long as you go to every class! His classes fill up quick though.

This class is great if you are bad at math or slightly struggling. Duke is a good teacher, period. If you are good, however, take somebody else. You can ace the test and still not get 100 due to marks for silly peeves of his. He also complains every single day at the students for something completely unnecessary.

Good teacher, loud teacher, hard to fall asleep. Likes to make jokes, but gets serious on you fast. Not my kind of personality. Does ALOT to make the class 'student friendly'. Takes attendance in the form of 3pt POP quizzes. Reccomend doing homework for A, if you don't you should still get a B or C.

He talks way too fast sometimes, and likes to skip steps when going through problems, which for me, made me lose my place and what step needed to be done next. Still got an A. He will help you in any of his spare time that he has, and is an overall nice man. A bit too easily offended by rude students. Just dont be rude and come to class on time.

Billy is the best. I had to retake this class because another professor wouldn't explain stuff to me. Billy made sure I understood everything and gave me some credit for doing the right work on tests even if I got the final answer wrong.

Very good teacher. he has great organization to help you understand what work is going to be on each test, and he is good about explaining all concepts. Duke has been a great teacher this semester. Has a Texas accent, but still very easy to understand. Takes his time going through lessons, and doesn't rush through them, like most professors tend to do in these low level math courses. Will explain what he wants to see on the tests, and what he doesn't. I would recommend this professor.

He only teaches one section each of six different classes now, as opposed to multiple sections of certain required courses where possible. However, his enrollment cap is 35, and the room seats 40. He will go ABOVE and beyond to teach the maximum 40. Take Stan VerNooy and Billy, and you'll love Math, even if you hated it before you walked in.

I see that a lot of other students that took the online class had issues with Professor Duke responding. However, I did not have these issues. He answered every question within 24 hrs. He is direct and very clear on what he expects. I will absolutely take a class with him again.

Mr. Duke is an excellent teacher. He is the best math instuctor I have ever head. He is funny, and he makes math interesting. Excellent Professor! He makes a hard subject easy to understand. It's important to go to class because he has his own way of how he wants the problems to be solved. He helped me out a lot in times he shouldn't have. 4 exams 13 random quizzes and possible extra credit after ever exam. Its impossible to get less than a C grade.

Duke is a professor that are able to help students if you ask questions and tell you clearly on what he expected you to know and understand about the chapters and how you go about learning it. Also, he is very nice and helpful but sometime he can fast but you can always ask him to repeat or slow down. If so, study by practice homework .

Professor Duke is awesome! Very easy to understand, makes math look like a piece of cake. Very important to attend class and doing homework helps a lot. I would take another class with him and I recommend him.

Professor Duke tries very hard for his students and takes it personally if students show disrespect towards the subject matter or in the class room. He might even take it a little too far. Don't kid yourself about this class, understanding probabilities and projective mathematics is difficult, you will need to dedicate yourself for a good grade.

I've taken Math 126 with two different teachers and got a B both times. I got an A with Professor Duke, and the second semester is much harder. He's super nice, easy to understand, and passionate. He's an easy grader but he makes you want to do well. Pop quizzes are easy and basically extra credit. Glad I took him for my last math class.

He is very good at explainging lessons and allows students to ask questions if there is any confusion . There are only 4 tests that are required for this class. He is very thorough with test reviews. This professor also grades on attendance.

Professor Duke comes off as rude at first, but he warms up to you. Do not hesitate to ask questions when you do not understand he is a quick responder. There is one homework 25 questions long with one quiz a week and 4 exams the total semester. Do practice exercises in each chapter to prepare for tests they aren't only on hw and quiz questions.

I have taken Prof Duke for 2 semesters now. And online Calc was rough. However his door was always open and if your willing to come in he is willing to help. I was in his office once a week and ge was always available by email. I ended with a B in his class and for an online math course thats not too shabby

Professor Duke has to be the best professor at CSN. After a horrible experience I had my first semester with two horrible math professors, I was so worried that math was going to suck. Then, I discovered Mr. Duke. I have never met someone who makes math so understandable.

All work was online, Homework isn't graded only tests are. There are 6. You have to come in and sit for the mid term and the final. Math is super hard for me, but this class is doable if you put in a bit of effort.

Billy Duke is not just the best math professor I have ever had, but in general the best professor ever. If I could take him for every class I definitely would. He is hilarious and makes math easy to understand. I don't have any more math courses I have to take but if I did I would take him again in a heart beat.

Love the way he teaches. I retook this course because I took Mr. Hagood before and received a D. I'm expecting to receive an A with Mr. Duke.

Prof. Duke is the greatest math teacher I've ever had. He makes the lessons so understandable and doesn't bombard you with homework like most math teachers. Your grade is based on 2 things, in-class quizzes and 4 exams. The quizzes are open-note but never announced so it's best to attend class.

Hands down the best math professor I have ever had! He uses real life examples to explain the concepts you learn in finite math. He truly cares for his students and wants you to learn/pass. He also helped me several times with other coursework for statistics and pre-calc/trig. I can't say enough good things about Professor Duke!

BEST PROF. EVER!! He made Math really enjoyable to be able to comprehend with no fear. He makes sure students have an understanding of the assignments and he does go over the practice review which is truly on point with the exams he gives out. Billy Duke was a great professor but he just got irritated with the students a lot which would cause him to stop teaching and waste time. I understand he would get frustrated but it was even more frustrating for the students trying to learn. His tests are straight forward from the book and study guides so study

6 week online class. Very straightforward. Simple work load. 5 quizzes for 200 pts and 1 in person final exam for 100 pts. The quizzes can be tricky, but not crazy difficult. Make sure to do the ungraded homework. The final was just a basic over view of the material. No extra credit offered.

Billy Duke was an amazing professor! He really cares about his students and if you respect him he will definitely return the favor. Attendance is not mandatory but it is recommended you go, not just for material but for pop quizzes (which are impossible to fail) I wish he had more classes within my degree, i would for sure take his class again!

Good teacher, a little bit condescending when people dont understand, which sucks. If youre somewhat good at math, its a pretty easy class. He has pop quizzes which is really just one question at the end of a class, but not every class. No midterms/final exams, just quizzes and tests. Simple standardized tests. No homework. Incredible professor! He loves what he does and really cares about his students! He wants everyone to succeed and is more than willing to work with you. If you respect him, he'll respect you. There's never hw and if you buy a book, he'll tell you to get a refund. There's always practice problems for points. You can skip class, but why would you?

I grew up in an extremely math-intensive family, so this class was easy. However, for those that struggle with math, hes one of the best math professors Ive encountered in my life. Hes energetic and passionate, which makes an otherwise boring subject very fun. If you want to learn, theres no question, take Billy Duke! Highly recommend!

MATH 124 was a breeze but 132 was a bit more difficult for me with the probability but Professor Duke always explains things so simply that when you get something wrong you can't believe you did that. Amazing professor and would take every single class I could with him. Your grade is mostly 4 tests and a few quizzes he goes through with you.

16week MATH132 online course is a little hard. Uses MyMathLab system. If you need help he is at the Henderson CSN campus and always willing to assist. 8 quizzes containing 10 questions , 7 are counted towards your grade then midterm and final. Great guy wish I would've been able to take in person.

This professor is amazing. I consider him one of the best professors that I have ever taken. He gives amazing life advice in his lectures, something you don't expect from a math professor. He lets you do quizzes as many times as you need to. The subject matter is difficult and I would not comprehend with any other professor. Bravo professor duke!

Excellent teacher! I dreaded taking this class, but now, I don't understand why. Show up to class, pay attention, take good notes, & you'll do fine. His class grade is based on 4 exams (100 points each) and 12 quizzes (3 points each), but only keeps the top 10. Billy finds a way to take any mathematical concept and explain it with common sense.

He does want some participation in his class just to see if you are understanding what he's teaching. you will get everyday quizesat the end of class (just on what you learned easy 3 points) BEST INSTRUCTOR EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Best math instructor I've ever had. Math has always been very hard for me but Prof. Duke made it such an easy concept to grasp. His grading is extremely fair. He will not include topics that are difficult and unnecessary on the test. Your grade is made up of 4 exams, as well as a few quizzes-free points. Be respectful and you will love him!

Awesome math teacher. Goes over questions in the text book in daily lectures that explain the lesson for the day. He has 12 quizzes that are 3 poins (super easy) and only grades 10. Also 4 exams (no final or mid term)! He gives as much credit as he can on test. Has review days and study guides.

You watch some videos (no need to read the book), do a homework assignment (not for a grade, but you need an 80% on it to access the quiz), and a quiz and that's it... for 2 weeks at a time. That's easy. There are 8 quizzes, but he drops the lowest score. The midterm and final are worth as much as each quiz. Easily the best math class I've taken.

Professor Duke is undoubtedly one of the best professors CSN has to offer. Amazing lectures that will entertain and educate you each class. Your need to study the work after class to catch up and understand material. Great teacher received a B in Math 132 Finite Math. NO HOMEWORK AT ALL ! he does do exit quizzes. Gives a little extra credit. do the quizzes they will add up. Grades on a curve. DO NOT BUY THE TEXT BOOK YOU DONT NEED IT, unless you want to practive oly used it once.

This is an easy course to pass as long as you do your work. (3 hours a week, max) You have to pass the homework assignments (not graded) with 80% in order to take the quizzes. The quizzes actually reflect the homework so it's a breeze. Midterm and final are reasonable. He gives you topics to study.

Mr. Duke teaches the "required methods" for finite mathematics, but then boils it down to the simplest approach. Truly makes the subject easy. Very clear communicator, genuinely caring and willing to help his students. Expects students to respect his class & lectures and is not OK with phone use during class. Take good notes and you'll do great!

He is one of the best professors I have ever had. He presents the information in a relatable and very understanding way. There were 5 exams and he drops your lowest grade at the end of the semester. I mostly just studied the exam reviews and did fine.

This class is super easy and only graded on quizzes. The midterm and final are only 10 additional points more than other graded quizzes so easy class to pass. Must do homework and get at least 80% to unlock quiz but the homework is not graded. Quizzes pull questions straight from homework so that's nice too. Lowest quiz score is dropped!

Professor Duke is an awesome professor. Math 132 was somewhat a challenging course. Professor curves on a grade which is always good. But he is the type of professor that truly cares for his students. I would definitely take him again for any math course. I learned a great deal of statistics and probability through his method of teaching. A+

Mr. Duke is one of the best teachers I've ever had! I'm not the best at math but he made it super easy to understand. He does give out quizzes every other class but he lets you correct your mistakes. If you review the study guide before the test you'll pass. I would highly recommend taking his class!

took his online 132 class over the summer. He assigns a few videos, half are explanations on a math topic and the other are examples of it (helpful). Then you need to do 80% of the homework questions (not timed, not graded) in order to unlock the quiz. After that, you do the quiz (easier than hw) and that's it! every topic & he drops the lowest one

His notes are not written down before class so it can be all over the place sometimes in lectures, but he gives great resources and is always 10000% willing to help. 4 tests, some classwork assignments, and the "final" exam is non-cumulative. I found it helpful to go over other professor's notes after class to get a clearer understanding.

4 test there is no final. Pop quizzes consist only of one question and you get to work in groups or he will help you himself. Study guides for the test are all accessible online, study them they are the exactly the same question for the test just written differently. No HW. CURVES TEST. Drops the lowest test and quiz. Nice. Amazing!! Professor Duke is the kind of instructor that every student would love to have on his/her side. His teaching method is wonderful. He goes above and beyond explaining the hard concepts and makes everyone feel comfortable in his class, For those who feel apprehensive about math, this is the right professor you need to succeed!!!!

No final exam, graded only on quizzes. He holds virtual lectures and goes over the weekly math assignments, but I rarely attended and preferred to read the notes and watch videos to learn material. Homework is optional, but I recommend doing the worksheets so you know what to expect on your quizzes. Alternates between 1 to 2 quizzes weekly.

A very nice man who will joke during lectures. Attendance is encouraged but not mandatory. 14 quizzes, 14 homework assignments. No midterm, no final. Some homework was more difficult than others, but all around a decent professor and class. WARNING: If you aren't a good test taker, you may not pass! He ONLY GRADES TESTS.

Professor Duke is a very caring professor. You need to complete homework in order to take weekly quizzes, but homework is not graded and quizzes are. No extra credit in this course but you really don't need it! Weekly lectures are not mandatory, but are very helpful when doing the mathwork. This profesor made it clear what was expected and had only quizzes during the course, 13 quizzes and best 12 are graded. All homework and quizzes is done on my math Lab. Its all very straightforward and does require homework effort.

This was a good class. It was online and consisted of 13 "chapters". You do the homework (does not count for a grade) and take the quiz. Prof Duke gives 2 chances at the quizzes and the best score is kept. He also provided videos of him going over the material so it is not just you teaching yourself. I would take him again if could.

I hate math and struggle with it, but he made it easy! We used my math lab which you have to pay for but I would say its worth it, because if you are struggling with a question the website will provide step by step instructions to solve the problem. Not only did my math lab help, but he has great notes and tutoring available.

This class was very straight forward. 13 quizzes on My Math Lab. 1 per week. You must complete the homework assignment to unlock the quiz. He also gives 2 attempts at the quiz. As long as you don't fall behind, you should be fine.

HE IS THE BEST! He is so funny and kind and he really really cares about his students. He cried during our last lecture cause he is going to miss my class! He is so helpful and he wants every student of his to succeed. He helped me get into his class even after it started. No midterms or finals. He types out clear notes you can print. I loved him!

Took his online class for Spring of 2021 and it was a fairly easy class of only 1 weekly homework and quiz. I took his Tue & Thurs classes, but if you are busy that day, it's no problem, as he posts his recording for us to watch on our own time. The website we used for the assignments helped a lot too. As someone who is bad at math, I recommend.

For me the class was pretty easy, however if you have trouble with math I recommend you attend his live sessions. They will be so helpful. You have to purchase a service: mymathlab. Nearly every week there is 30 practice questions and then a test. You have to do at least 75% of the practice questions to take the test. No updates in canvas.

Billy Duke is a sweet man who has a passion for math. He's a great teacher and he explains the material in an easy and fun way! (I actually enjoyed doing math during this class.) He really likes having participation in his live lessons. You won't regret taking his class!

Professor Duke was very well organized and made the online course super easy. There are assignments and quizzes required but he gives out plenty of time to complete and turn them in. The textbook was provided and it was beyond helpful and very descriptive.

Prof. Duke really just wants his students to learn and he will do whatever he can to make that happen. There are weekly assignments and quizzes but you can submit them up to a week after the material is covered (just don't be late). The final was more like a quiz than an exam, just a few questions. Don't slack off, try a little, and you'll do fine.

Professor Duke holds the gold standard as to how an online course should be taught. 100% fair, entertaining, involved and informative. Honestly, I cannot say enough good things about him. The ammount of extra videos and instructions is staggering. It is not just a "read the powerpoint and read the book.. good luck" class. He goes over it all.

I have to say this professor is decently good, he provides a free textbook and videos to watch to help you out and for me, it was easy to understand. There were a total of 3 exams and those exams are after every about 3 to 5 lessons. My only problem is sometimes he won't answer my questions and just make sure you read the directions carefully.

Prof. Duke loves his job & his students. I took his class 2 semesters ago, emailed him for help in a new class he responded next day. I wish he taught every subject. He makes things so easy. For 120E attendance is 10% of your grade, but he is beyond entertaining!! I never missed a class. If you pay attention to what he teaches you, you will pass.

Duke is a pretty good professor. He believes in politeness and kindness. A textbook is provided that is FREE. Although sometimes the book is hard to understand, his lectures always helped out. His lectures AREN'T mandatory, you can earn participation points for being there and understand the material a whole lot better. Quiz+Test due every Sunday.

I LOVE PROFESSOR DUKE! He is absolutely amazing and it was super easy. There was a textbook but it was online and free. Prolly spent 30 min a week on this class.

You could tell the professor cared about his job and students, his lectures were great and even recorded them so you could go back to them. He gave chance to redo the homework assignments before you take the quizzes. Awesome class.

BEST MATH PROFESSOR! Highly recommend. Very understanding and clear with directions. Textbook is free which was great. Homework assignments every week which allow you to fix your mistakes and actually learn. And a few exams which weren't hard as long as you pay attention.

I have mixed feelings. Overall, he's a really good professor. I'm not the best at math, but he would do tons of examples in his lectures & allow us to re-do the HW, so that helped. BUT, he can be very impatient. If you ask a question during lecture, he'll snap at you & assume you're not paying attention. I stopped asking questions in class.

Professor Duke, is a great mathematician. Although he likes to take 5 mins out of my learning to complain about the 5 out 26 people who show up to his online class, mind you attendance is not needed. He used to do video recordings on his lectures and stoped because of this. Ideally college students are adults with jobs. He seems not to be aware.

He is very smart and I'm sure he means well. He goes great lengths to make sure students understand. However, its true that he gets snappy when students ask certain questions during lec. It's a bit off-putting. He seems to be a bit nicer over email. No textbook required. Everything is open note but he does make you send in your step by step work.

Great class, textbook is provided and he is super helpful if needed for any of the chapters, provides great video lectures to help you out. Easy grading, I'm grateful I had him for my first semester for math! Would absolutely take him again.

I didnt expect to do great in this class but Mr Duke provided me with the resources and material to do great in this class. Hes straightforward. Lectures daily, assignments weekly. Hes very caring, patient, understanding but sarcastic. If you don't like that hes not for you. I don't mind sarcastic so Im fine with it. Hes the best instructor ever.

This professor is amazing, and goes above and beyond to explain in the easiest and clear way the topics that this class covers. If I need another math class, I will definitely look for this professor.

He provides slides for his lectures and has some classes you can join online in BBB. His grading was clear and overall his class was not too difficult.

I was so nervous for this class (I hate math), but Mr. Duke made me ENJOY it for the first time in my life. Exams are open book with a few problems submitted through a pic - around 6 for the whole course. Missed a problem on an exam and when he noticed I switched a number on accident he went back and gave me full credit for it. Take this class!!

Professor Duke is my favorite teacher EVER! So lucky to have found him. He is everything a professor should strive to be. He will always matches your effort; put in the work and the class will be a breeze. As someone who struggled with math he made it so easy and enjoyable. Professor Duke is an absolute blessing. I was able to take him for 126 and 127. He makes math EASY. I used to struggle with math, but with his explanations and being able to watch the recordings it made my life so much easier. I recommend him 100%!

Great professor! He was very understanding and love that he used a free platform and provided the content without the need to buy a textbook. I also admired his understanding when it came to tests. He was more set on us understanding how the work is done and did not mind us using our notes. I'm in MATH127 now wishing I took it with Professor Duke.

I took his accelerated math course, and it was easy. There's only an assignment due every other week, which makes it easy to keep up. Everything is online, so accessing the material is super convenient—no need to worry about being in a specific place at a certain time. The coursework itself isn't very challenging either

I took 120 8-wk course and it was pretty easy, taking Algebra 2 the year prior. Most was new content, but nothing too hard. I'd say that Duke is one of the best Math Profs at CSN, along with Prof. E. Hutchinson who I took for Precalculus if u decide to take it. Overall, Prof. Duke was one of, if not, the most passionate & helpful math professors.

I took the 8 week course and it wasn't too difficult. A free online textbook is provided and the professor made online lectures for those that needed more help. The homework is straightforward if you look over the chapters and take notes. A majority of your grade comes from tests, which are pretty short. He gives feedback on them after too

He uses MyOpenMath for all assignments and due dates not canvas. This is a good program with videos attached to each question. He posts assignments three weeks in advanced and gives you a lot of time to complete.

If you're taking 126 online TAKE this class. Literally so light. He used a cool program called my open math and on every question, there's a video link that goes over it if you need it. The unit is assigned and due 3 weeks afterish so you get to manage how you do your work yourself. He also has video recordings on canvas. 10/10 class. TAKE IT!

I took Prof. Duke fall semester of 2024. Math 120-E is Math 99 and 120 in one class. I was a C student in math through HS, and I ended his class with a 97%. 12 HW, and 4 tests. He said there would be a change next semester requiring a midterm and final. I can't put into words how incredible he is. He makes it his MISSION to help you. Loved him.

127, lectures aren't as strictly structured/organized as other teachers, but for an online class, he teaches pretty good. Really nice and chill guy, and he's definitely far from the worst profs at CSN. I took Hutchinson for 126E and I honestly preferred Hutch, but Duke is by no means a bad professor, just a different preference in teaching style.

Professor Duke is by far the best professor I have had in college. He is very caring and interactive both online and in person. He is very willing to help you understand any concept that you are struggling on. I would take him over and over again, but there is a waitlist for all of his classes.

Professor Duke uses MyOpenMath (FREE!) and he was very organized. He was really caring and accommodating. He makes math simple to understand. There were 3 tests, homework assignments for each unit, and a final exam in which he provided a formula sheet. Overall, it was a well structured class just pay attention, study, and don't procrastinate.

I took the 8wk online course and while there was a lot of homework, Professor Duke provided amazing video lectures and had office hours to help with any additional questions or confusions. If you are not a math person, his class will certainly make you more fond of the material!

I would highly recommend taking this professor. It was a summer online course, there is no textbook. Everything is done on myopenmath. Clear syllabus and is very homework heavy which is expected from a summer course. 2 exams and the final which is in person with him or at any testing center. Math is always hard, regardless.

Definitely not a harsh grader, he is willing to give partial credit on questions which is awesome. He is a little short fused-- so it's best to save your questions for outside of class. All in all was a good math professor who isn't trying to fail everyone which is refreshing.

Calculus seemed intimidating, but the professor made it easy to understand. Lectures help a lot, and there's sometimes extra credit. If he doesn't finish a lecture, he posts a video. There are office hours and weekly MyOpenMath assignments with 99 retries. Tests also offer partial credit when you show your work.

Professor Duke is such a great guy. If you come to class ready to learn, he's the best guy ever super chill, laidback, easy to talk to, and helps you understand math. I mean, seriously, this guy could explain division to a herd of cattle, he uses myopenmath which is free and gives you like 100 retries but all in serious please take this professor.

Professor Duke is an amazing math professor! He teaches very well and clearly. When I was dealing with health issues and missed the day I scheduled my final, he let me take it later that week. I value that a lot. He is an amazing communicator. If you need help, ask him, he is really kind-hearted. I would 100% take his course again!
