His midterm and final combined make up most of your grade for the class; some people complained in his class but it was not a difficult class; just pay attention -attendance is a must, and study slides for the test

(ASYNC) Lecture heavy, but one of the most sincere professors I've met at DePaul. He lets you do corrections on HW, offers real-life applications of topics presented, and is just one of those professors that makes you want to do better without him trying too hard. Highly recommend if you actually want to learn, just put in the work!

Straightforward teacher. If you watch the lectures then do the homework you should get a good grade in this class. He offers the opportunity to revise your homework (after he's shown you the correct answer). I really enjoyed this class.

Very easy. You can resubmit homework and short papers after he post answers, meaning there's no reason not to get 100% on them. Midterm + final were easy too and were just two questions from hw assignments with slightly changed numbers. I can say even though the class was easy I did learn and overall enjoyed the class

In the entire quarter there is 1-2 lecture videos a week, 1 homework assignment a week, 2 case studies and 1 midterm 1 final, he lets you do corrections on homework and case studies. Gets straight to the point.

Overall this professor was manageable. He lets you correct your homework and paper for full credit as long it's turned in on the due date. As a teacher was not very good. Can get frustrated when students don't understand things. He is like a drill sergeant. He does constantly tell students to prepare for the real world and has high expectations.

Was the worst experience I have ever had at DePaul. He was extremely rude, condescending, isrespectful, childish, and belittling. He constantly made rude comments, made me feel uncomfortable, and was not important in his class. If you are not on time to class he will constantly yell at you about why you're late, say he doesn't care and drop the class.

The bad reviews are from students who thought they would be given an A. Be on time, take good notes, apply yourself, and you will have no problem. This is not a hard class, but he holds people accountable because he genuinely wants them to succeed. He wants his students to apply information learned in class to real world scenarios. What a concept.

He is a Professor that cares about students doing well and wants everyone to succeed. But it is on you to study outside of class and prepare. Take good notes during his lectures, do the work he assigns, and come to class, and you should do fine in the course. I learned a lot about management in his class.

Professor Jiang is the best professor I have ever taken at DePaul. He teaches everything you need to know for projects and tests during the lectures. Attendance is very important as he only lets you miss two classes, and he will criticize you in front of everyone if you are late. As long as you attend class on time, you will get a good grade.

Posts slides that have very limited explanations, or how to apply formulas to problems we need to solve. Gives unhelpful, or no feedback at all on what you did wrong or what you should do differently. Expects us to ace tests and quizzes with virtually no practice or examples.

Professor Jiang really does care for his students. The midterm and final (not yet taken) are very similar to the homework questions. If you fail those exam then it isn't the professors fault. For the midterm, if you got a bad grade he will tell u to wait after class so he can talk to you about the exam. He may look intimating but is really caring.

LOVE HIM. Tough class but its grad school. He does a great job showing you EVERY STEP. Recommend taking him online so you can re-listen to some of the practical parts. I have a liberal arts degree and he made me understand the fundamentals of operation management. Wish everyone lectured and DEMONSTRATED like he did. Homework is key.

Take Dr. Jiang's class when you see his name. He is a brilliant professor, he teaches without a textbook, we never read any book in his class, yet whatever he taught sticks in your brain forever. His midterm and final are super easy. I would say he is not a teacher, he is a MANAGER in my eyes. Highly recommend taking his class in person.

Best professor I've taken at DePaul. This class was truly challenging and you have to put in the work. He cares about you actually learning and makes you believe in yourself. If you miss class you miss important info. If you want an easy class this prof is not for you but you will definitely learn from him and get your tuition's worth.

He gave weekly homework, and by the time it was due, he'd post a video explaining how to do it. This made the final very easy since you had examples to follow. He gives you a week to complete each of the homeworks and final, and the final was only 3 questions. I would definitely recommend him.

The lectures were lengthy and very difficult to understand which made the class feel disorganized. I wish it was related more to the real world rather than bizarre exam questions.
