Great prof. Gives extra credit. Very little homework. No papers. Just study for test, pay attention in class and your golden.

She explains the material very well, it is a 300 course so there will be a lot of material, she wants her students to do well . she gives xtracredit, do it! my test score averaged to B got an A with the xtracred! all her power points are online just review those your set.

She is the best. So nice and really understanding if you have a problem or can't make it to class. If something comes up let her know and she'll do everything she can to accommodate you. I would take her again!

She is amazing! Took the class on a friday which was very long because it was a 3 hour class. But i was not bored at all! Very interesting and she uses real life examples for you to fully understand and get the concept. Definitely would take again

AMAZING, the tests are so easy, she gives review sheets & extra credit. the power points are great, shes a good teacher. definitely take her. it's very hard to fail. she said you need to get the textbook but we haven't used it so i regret buying it. she helps you understand topics by relating it to current events and personal stories.

Best teacher ever! She loves to help her students learn and understand the material and her lectures are fun and interesting so you wont have trouble with participating. The test are fair as long as you pay attention in class and she gives a lot of extra credit so if you fail her class, it's your fault.

She has ALOT of notes to take but she will always post them on blackboard so you don't even need to copy notes, I didn't. Her tests are almost exact to the review sheet that she gives you so as long as you study and memorize the review sheet you will get an A. Would love to take her again!

My favorite teacher thus far. She's absolutely wonderful and if she didn't live in westchester i would look into making her my psychologist, she's just an overall great person. She tells stories of her personal experience with working with different mental illnesses and it makes each lecture so much more interesting.

I got frustrated because I missed a class. Made class lectures fun. So many questions and she tried to hard to get them answered. Provides extra help and will meet you at the student campus center. Great story teller. Provides extra credit so take advantage. If I was majoring in PSY, I would want her to be my mentor.

I've never liked psychology until this semester. Professor Dulock is great she makes abnormal psych interesting. There's no homework except the review sheets which aren't difficult to do at all. Tests are directly from review sheet so as long as you know everything on it you will pass! I wish i could take her again, loved her class!!!!

Definitely the best professor I've had so far! I had an 8 am class and never felt tired in this class, her lectures are interesting and easy to understand. Extra credit was given with almost every test. Homework is rare but when given it was to help boost our test grades. Show up to class for attendance, study, and you'll be fine.

I took her PSY315 class. Buy the textbook if you want a B+ or higher. Her powerpoints are garbage, youre better off buying the textbook instead of trying to search through her slides. She does give a lot of extra credit opportunities, so take advantage of them. For those who like professors to lecture and go home, stay away!

An all around great experience, I almost wanted to change my major to psych because of how interesting she makes class. Her tests were straight from the reviews, and she actually made me learn things.

She has truly been my favorite professor at my first 2 years at Farmingdale State College. She is a great professor who cares for her students as long as you show you also care. Classes are also fun ,she asks questions to the class and more often than not everyone gets their suggestions out or questions answered. 110% recommend .

Best professor ever. She is an actual psychologist and you can tell that she is really passionate about psychology. The only homework is a paper (really easy) and a review sheet before every test. The review sheets cover everything that will be on the test and if you do them then it will be pretty hard to fail. I would definitely take her again.

One of the nicest professors on campus. Shes very lecture heavy but you dont really need to pay attention in class. I normally did HW for other classes and still passed all the exams. She drops the lowest grade. There is no HW and the test are all based off the review sheet so make sure to study that.

Dr. Dulock is an intelligent, sweet professor. She genuinely cares ab her students and what they get out of her class. She teaches from powerpoints but not straight from them&adds her own experiences which make the class more interesting- especially at 9am. gives reviews and great review sheets on what tests are on, along with easy enough projects.

Dr. Dulock is extremely passionate and intelligent. She provides extra credit, detailed review sheets and drops your lowest grade. She will go out of her way to ensure that the whole class is prepared for not only the exam, but for long-term success. No homework, no busy work, no group projects. Note-taking isn't essential, just show up!

Amazing at teaching just a lot of work (which is expected of a 300 level class). Somewhat of a tough grader so you have to make sure your work is good. Assignments can take up to 2 hours, tests are long, review sheets are graded, attendance grade too. She is an amazing lecture though. She always makes herself available for students.

Will make you work for an A but trust me she cares and wants her students to do well. Currently taking Psych 101 with her and its very challenging but she has pushed me out of my comfort zone and I would highly recommend taking her as a professor.

Very good professor who cares about her students and how well they do. She always gives a review sheet with basically all the material that will be on the test.

I took this class for credit just to graduate on time, but it actually turned out to be one of the best classes I ever took. Professor Dulock is one of the best professors on campus and if you can squeeze this class into your schedule I highly recommend it! This was easily my best professor to date, as a junior. You've seen everything students are saying about her, but I would like to add that I am a deaf student, and she did not hesitate to stick to every accommodation that the school provided without ever asking questions or forgetting. Dr. Bindu Dulock is one of the best professors at Farmingdale! She is kind and will teach you compassion but she expects a lot. This class takes a good amount of time to do well. Make sure you prepare for the class, go to lectures with questions, volunteer, and by end of class you will be on your way to making the world around you a better place!

Quizzes are open book, no textbooks, heavy on videos, expected to talk in class/participate. The class is interesting and Professor Dulock relates the material to real life really well. I really recommend her. There are weekly assignments but theyre doable!

She is probably the most straightforward and caring professor you will ever have. I was struggling in her class on the verge of failing but she supported me and allowed me to get my work up. She is very talented and knowledgeable. Her classes her discussion based. She has such a brightness to her, it lights up the class. She is a true professor!

This professor was by far my favorite I had this semester. She makes psychology, the assignments and class itself engaging and interesting with the videos weekly. Although it can see like a lot, it all is for your benefit. I had medical issues during the semester which lead me to not make class, she was so understanding and accommodating. Take her!

I would HIGHLY recommend taking her any chance you get. Theres 9 assignments, 1 case scenario, & 6 quizzes but one is optional if you want to drop a low grade .She will give you EVERYTHING, you just have to submit it on time, you can always redo an assignment for a better grade after. She gives outlines of the lectures you can use to complete the test, and turn them in for extra credit .PSY315 is definitely one of the most interesting I have taken yet !!! 100/10

I would take her class a million times if I could. Her lectures are incredibly entertaining so you will never get bored despite the fact that you are still learning. If you are majoring in Psych this will feel like nothing. And if you are taking it as a requirement, she will make it easy for you by making it entertaining and manageable.

Professor Dulock is very caring and wants the best for all of her students. Although lectures can get boring to the point of falling asleep, they can sometimes be interesting and informative. The work can stack up quickly and become tedious but for the most part it's manageable. Take her- just get a good sleep the night before.

She truly is one of the best professors in the Psychology department. As long as you watch her powerpoints and lecture videos she uploads, you will be FINE. She uses her assigned videos and relates them to real life examples and make boring lectures seem very fun!

I took this class as a hybrid course and I enjoyed it and learned a lot. There were assignments to complete each week but very easy. All the tests were online, not timed and open book. I would take this class again.

Such an amazing professor! All tests and quizzes are online and not very hard. Assignments are also pretty easy. Just watch the videos and you'll do fine. She allows you to complete the assignments as much as possible until you get an 100. Would 100% recommend her to anyone wanting to take a psychology course.

prof. dulock really cares about her job. my only complaint was that the online course seemed a bit unorganized towards the end.there were not many updates on what is expected on assignments, she expects you to dig through brightspace. the online homework assignments are long, but thats all Mcgrawhill work. overall, I do recommend this professor.

Im not sure why people are giving her bad reviews shes the best. This is my second time taking her and she cares about her students. Her in person class consisted of only online tests which really helped and she had a bunch of extra credit. If you go to class and do the work she would never fail you, she is extremly generous with grades. I love her

Nothing in college is guaranteed. Dr. Dulock is one of the best here at FSC going above and beyond. She cares more about the students than most I can recall. The start of the semester is a little hectic but picks up while the course work really makes you think critically. Is very proactive and open communicatively with grading leading to the final.

Ms.Dulock is such an amazing professor. I had an emergency to take care of during finals week. She accommodated me to make sure I was okay and allowed me to make up the work missed. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER. You will no regret taking her. Lectures are never boring.

Professor Dulock is hit-or-miss, but with the right approach, the class can be manageable. Lectures can be dry, but paying attention and using unstuck study for study prep helps. Stay on top of assignments, and you'll likely do well.

I loved her class. She's very passionate and well informed and I always appreciated her insight/experience. Lectures are interesting. She's compassionate-PLEASE- if you're falling behind or need help TALK TO HER. If you're going to be taking her class, make sure to learn The Elements of Abnormality and the differences in psychological perspectives.

She is a very good professor and I would recommend her to anyone that needs a psychology class. All of her homework and exams are online which you do at home. Her lectures are easy to follow and her exams come directly from the lectures. She is very good with explaining something if you don't understand.

Professor Dulock was absolutely wonderful! There's a lot of information to cover on your own time but you can always contact her for help in person or online. She tends to go on bits of rants when lecturing in class but they always have something to do with the material being covered. She's very fair and gives ample time to turn in work. Reasonable

Professor Dulock is extremely caring and informative. She's willing to go above and beyond just so you learn and actually understand what she's teaching. While she's understanding, you should still do your work on time and attend lectures, since she's not going to help or give extensions if you don't put in any effort. You should take her class!

I took this class as an elective requirement, I genuinely considered switching my major after this class to psychology. She is an INCREDIBLE professor and so so so passionate about the subject and truly wants you to do well. The tests were somewhat difficult BUT if you watch her lectures and understand the topics you will do well!! 100/10.

By far the best online course I've taken. Well structured, with engaging modules and supplemental videos that really helped the material stick. Dulock's weekly messages showed genuine passion for the subject and made the online format feel personal and supportive. It's very clear she truly cares about her students' learning and success.

Professor truly cares about teaching her material. Just quizzes each week on the material given for that week, a case scenario project, and a test at the end of each chapter. Extra credit was offered for attending her reviews for tests via virtual meet. Overall great Professor to have.
