Hilarious young teacher. Very knowledgeble and nice. Definetly reccomended.

A fun teacher, but without much in depth knowledge about the subject. Teaching sometimes feels contradictory to or confuses textbook reading, though this doesn't matter much as the tests aren't that difficult. Not much control over the class.

She is extremely hot!! Especcially after she did her hair, other than that good teacher.

Very awesome teacher, VERY easy. Study guide allowed on tests, she provides study guides and the study guides follow the tests. She is also very nice, and sweet and willing to help out, where as other teachers are very strict.

Great teacher. Articulate and fun. Lectures vary from book to outside materials. She gives exams, quizzes, a paper and groupwork, all are doable if you put in the effort. Very good teacher. She knows her stuff and lectures in a fun and interacting way. Study guilds outline EVERYTHING on the test so as long as you know everything on them you'll do fine. Rarely any homework, one paper. Highly recommended.

Great enthusiams, energy, knowlege of subject, personable, pleasant to look at, great handouts and notes/study guides. She likes her papers tidy. I count her as a friend and have talked with her several times, even though I am done with Psych classes. Great person.

She explains what she expects from you.If anyone says she is easy,they are lying.She is rather hard.She gives a lot of info in class and if you don't comprehend she will help you!She is really helpful and resourceful.The paper the hardest and as long as you pay attention to her, you will do fine.

Relatively easy teacher. Attendance required but hardly any homework and tests are clearly outlined by a study guide. One easy paper. Very big on talking lots about sex, and very hot, use that as you will.

I really enjoyed this class. It was very challenging, yet I was very motivated and did alright. She is very clear and gives numerous examples for every concept. He also is very humerous which helps the material sink in.

Clear about what she expects. Take what she says seriously. I have to agree that she only seems to know what is in the books, but she is as helpful as she can be. Very cute and always seems amused by something.

A good friend. A sweet and gentle person who's command of Vietnamese is beautiful, because she was taught early to use polite and courteous syntax. Shows up in her classy teaching. A valuable asset for any psych student. Add to this her physical beauty and who shouldn't take her class?

Ms. Nguyen is sooo sweet and nice. She is really fun and makes the classes interesting. She also really helps you if you need it and makes what is going to be on every test clear. If you are going to take a Psych class definitely take it from her!

I really like this class. The lectures are intersting and she gives us study guides for tests, but the questions on the quizes and tests are tricky sometimes and some of the group assignments are a waste of time, like the puzzles we had to make this week- sorta felt like highschool all over again.

Nguyen's class is always filled with interesting topics to discuss.Since it is a Child Dev class, it is no surprise that people will have questions about their children.It is not beyond the realm of Psych to suggest advice to help parents out. If u don't like helping people, don't major in Psych.

One of the best teachers i've ever had! Her lectures are fun and interesting and she is super nice! I wouldn't take this class from any other teacher.

Clear, entertaining and spirited. Grading is some of the toughest I have experienced. Take that sheet she gives you for any papers very seriously and be meticulous. Grades grammar on papers, hardcore. Other than that she is a good teacher and makes material interesting.

Good class. She is tough on grammer and tests can be difficult if you don't grasp her style. I agree with whoever said they were sick of mothers asking how to raise their kids- very annoying. people need to shut up and let her teach!

I had to drop and retake this class, DO NOT screw up on your paper, if you do you will not pass this class she grades hardcore, the slightest mistake and your nailed, other then that class was alright and you will learn alot,this class was pure text book so read up, and the test questions were kind of tricky

Was an ok class. Discussions were interesting and easy to follow. A lot of things she brought up seemed kinda sketchy. Seemed to like to shock the class rather than bring up more important examples. Tests were pretty easy if you follow the study guide. The paper was pretty lame. Not a hard class, just show up.

never met a teacher who is so energetic! shes a wonderful teacher and makes sure you understand all the materials. her tests are almost exactly like the study guides so dont worry. the paper isn't all bad, but make sure someone proof reads it before you turn it in. learn a lot and a great experience

She is a total sweetheart and all in all a wonderful person. Energetic and runs a fun class, just don't try to take advantage of the rules, as she is very firm about them. I wish I could take more classes from her. The quizes can be tough, so make sure you study for them.

Really great...I took her Abnormal Psych class once before and loved it...amd now taking Psych 1A...good class, interesting, and if you just make yourself a study sheet from her study guide you can kick butt on all the tests.

I have her for abnormal psych, and she seems to keep the class very interesting. She has a great sense of humor, and dresses nice. She is very energetic too, and at times can talk fairly quick when she gets into what she is saying. The only hard thing for me is the pace of the class, and the fact that you cant make up her quizzes for any reason. I had my dog pass away so I missed the first quiz, and I am sure I am screwed now. I dont hold it against her, it just really sucks. Good teacher...very nice!

Awesome teacher. Great sense of humor and always has lots of energy. Difficult at times, but a really fun class. Very nice and warm-hearted. I recommend this class to anyone that actually wants to stay awake in class and learn something.

Ms Wen understands that 1A is a basic course and those going further in psych will take more indepth classes later. It was easy to get an A, although the tests were tricky at times. I had no trouble sitting still and staying engaged for 2.5 hours of class. the way she says 'phenomenon' is so cute.

She is a very easy teacher. There is hardly any homework and the tests are very easy. If you show up everyday for class you dont have to take the final. you'd get an automatic A and you cant ask for anything better than that.

Ms. Nguyen is wonderful! She's intelligent and creative. Her lectures are super funny and she has a way of making hard concepts easy to understand. She is very passionate about psych topics and cares about her students. Her exams can be easy if you study. Took her three times. Last one just because she's easy on the eyes. take notes and study her "outline" before each test and you get an A. Also....Officer Hour visist...If they know your name it's worth 1/2 of a grade.....Don't do a term paper on Autism because she will grade that harder then any other topic.

Great professor and nice as hell and no absenses gives you a chance to not take the final. Some people say that having an attractive teacher helps them attend and listen much more in class, but for me, her physical attractiveness kind of made it hard to concentrate.

i found her lectures to be interesting. her tests are pretty simple, i never studied & always passed. the quizzes were harder than the tests, you have to read over your notes & study them to do well. it's easy to get a good grade. i assume for some it's also a plus that she's gorgeous. plus she has a good sense of humor which always makes it fun.

Nguyen (pronounced "win") is a good teacher. If she makes you write a paper, beware. She is a hard grader. Other then that, she prides her students to come to ever class, her lectures are very interesting, make sure to take good notes, do the easy A homework assignments (assignments are rare), and study (half ass) and you'll do just fine.

go to class everyday, do the easy homework which is writing vocab definitions and a writing about yourself for every chapter (due during midterms), and study for two midterms so you will not have to take the final. Easy A. Not including class i spent about 15 hours to get an A

Binh Nguyen is the best Psychology teacher at the JC. Not only is her class fun, but not all together that hard either. This class was everything I thought it would be. Informative and very interesting. I recommend her to anyone interesting in taking any psych classes.

She's a firm person, but a great teacher. She's organized, thorough, open to questions, and pretty funny. She tosses in a bit of humor here and there, along with a lot of really interesting cases and information. She kept me interested, and I'm taking her again next semester for Child Psych! (Psych 4)

Oh my gosh... you will pee your pants! She'll totally crack you up. She's probably the funniest instructor I've had (and that's a lot). She's very clear with her lectures and her tests are reasonable, but you do have to study. Lots of reading, though. One little gripe: she's hard-core about APA when you do your research paper, but she'll help you.

Binh is a really fun lady. Easy grader on papers and homework. Tests are all multiple choice but there is a lot of material covered. My only complaint is that there is always a few questions on the exam that weren't on the study guide. Lecture style is kind of strange but she encourages discussion.

Great online Psych 4 class. Interesting assignments to do and read from other students. Easy quizzes you can take as many times as you want to the get the highest grade. Exams come from quiz questions. If you are computer-literate and self-motivated, this class is an easy A.

Ms. Nguyen is an excellent in instructor. I consider her one of the best Professors I've had. Her online Psych 4 class was very easy to follow and informative. She was always quick to respond to any questions I had. I would totally recommend her class.

Binh is an excellent teacher, but for some reason I quickly fell bored. Its best to assume it was my interest in the topid that was lacking, and not her teaching skills because she definitely made things funny. Her lectures are presented quickly so reading the content before hand is an excellent idea.

Prof Nguyen's Psych 4 online class/website is very clear and orderly to me. If you follow the schedule and deadlines, do all your quizzes (the questions will appear again on the exams), take your exams, post your hw in a timely fashion, you will pass with flying colors. It's not design for students to fail unless they simply don't do the work.

Prof. Nguyen is a great instructor. I took both psych 4 and psych 1A with her in the same semester. She makes the class fun. The homework was easy and helped me study. The research paper was easy. A garaunteed A+ if you checked in with her. She is always available to the students. I definitely reccomend taking her for any psych class.

Best professor Ive ever had. She was more of a comedian than a teacher, but she explained everything thoroughly none the less! Highly reccommend her. She strays sometimes but her test are more book based than lecture based anyway

Intense, but fun summer class. Ms. Nguyen always comes into class enthusiastic & ready. She's hilarious & is effective in diffusing a heavy subject matter. Syllabus is clear. Helpful assignments. Research guidelines for papers appear in clear details on 3 pages & given on the 1st day of class. Plenty of opportunities for questions & clarifications.

Nguyen is a good teacher. I thought she graded fairly and I got an A. She even let me resubmit homework. Her tests weren't easy tough. It's really easy to see her outside of class, she's very easy to talk with, and as a bonus, she is very attractive. The Negative: We read the whole textbook. I feel like a real psychologist because of her class.

This teacher was an absolute blast. Re-arrange your schedule to fit her in. She?s hilarious, passionate about psychology, and very knowledgeable. Not too much homework, and the tests are easy if you?ve followed along in the lectures and done the reading. Final was not based on the entire year, which made it a lot easier.

Professor Nguyen is really entertaining and her class isnt boring but her tests are extremely hard. The class is based on 4 tests all worth 100 points each and a research paper. i pretty much busted my a** off for a C and she also can get off topic a lot of the time.

The lectures are easy going but you must pay attention, the tests are not incredibly easy as with previous psychology classes I have taken. If you have questions, e-mail her, she'll get back to you within a day.

Took the class online. Very easy format. Take the quizzes however much you want til you get a perfect score, and those questions will be on the test most likely. I suggest taking the quizzes like 4 or 5 times so you're prepared for the tests. Tests are easy if you do that. Quizzes aren't even hard. Overall, very easy format and good teacher!

Online class. This was so easy. I took it with some other very difficult classes to fill up my 12 units. You take a quiz a week (can repeat as many times as you want). I didn't read the book, just had it open for quizzes and tests. Tests are quiz questions repeated. A few homeworks (very easy), and a large extra credit assignment at the end.

the tests are 90% from the lectures, so go to class and take decent notes. she does a great job making the material easy to understand, and she's helpful if you have a question in or out of class (doesn't get upset, backs up to explain again if need be) I've had her for 2 different classes, and I would recommend her. Bonus that she's hella cute!

Textbook: $100, i-clicker (for daily quizzes): $40. Lectures are interesting and she has good stories. Very good teacher, would recommend.

Psychology as a subject is confusing..Reading the book and not going to class is confusing, but Binh makes psychology seem easy. Her door is always open and she is very helpful and wants her students to learn.. Go to class and give undivided attention and you will come out with an A!

She's a wonderful teacher, and made the class fun. Make sure you know APA format well, because her T/A grades on it. Every time I did it for the research paper (in 3 parts) I got 0's for it even though in my speech class (SPCH 1A is also in APA) my teacher didn't mark me down at all.

She is an AMAZING teacher! Her lectures are some of the best I've heard in all my years of education. The class is never boring, always interesting, and very useful/clear. She is great about giving feedback and accommodating the needs of her students. Best psych teacher out there!

Just took this course to get some credit for UC. Wasnt expecting much, but Ms. Nguyen was outstanding in both the classroom and in office hours. I look forward to visiting next year as well to get some more credits with Ms Binh.

Love this class, the only class I look forward to this semester because she really knows her stuff and clearly presents it to her students. Intelligent, charismatic teacher with a sense of humor. She was pretty easy in 1A just three tests and three homework assignments where the second is really just the outline for the third which is a 5-page report. She knows what she wants with the papers but it really isn't hard to get it right. Class is fun and entertaining.

She was always very clear and was always happy to meet with students who had questions. Having to buy the iClicker kinda sucks but the class is worth the cost. As long as you go to class and take notes, the tests won't be hard. The research paper is easy so long as you write something coherent and stick to the format she wants.

This teacher has a magnetic presence. Class is fun. She believes in multi-media for teaching, which is cool. There are a lot of really young people in this class.... so there a lot of "Duh" momments in sharing conversation out loud. Her moral messages can be a bit overstated. It felt like a high school class at times. Says 'If you will" a lot

BEST TEACHER EVER. I love her. She is amazing. She's very clear, funny, and helpful. I HIGHLY recommend taking any opportunity to take her class. I wish she was doing Psych 1B next semester, because I really wanted to take it. Did I mention shes amazing? :D

I really did not have any interest in this class, but had to take it. She made it interesting and fun. She was extremely helpful and responded quickly to any email. Since Psych 1A is a class everybody has to take, I would highly recommend Binh Nguyen. You will not regret it.

I took this class online, and it required 3 quizzes every three chapters, followed by an exam. Quizzes are available for repetition until the corresponding exam date, with the highest grade entered into the gradebook. Easy enough.

I originally took Psych 3 online with her and it was very easy and she was helpful then I took a hybrid psych 1a with her and in person she is even better she is funny and smart and beautiful. A great teacher makes the subject interesting would totally recommend her

She is the best teacher ever! She kept the class very interesting I took the hybrid class for psyche 1A so all the tests and assignments are online. Super easy! No joke! And she is very helpful so if you Emil her she always responds very quick :)

She only teaches Psych 4 online. Clear, organized, & easy to follow. Stable deadlines for quizzes, exams, writing assignments, & class postings. Easy A if you're disciplined & do the work. Really nice & helpful & responds quickly to emails. I'd take another class of hers anyday (though she might not be teaching this year). Highly recommend!!

Shes the teacher that made me a psych major. She was super fun and informative, I wish she taught more classes.
