The course is difficult, but the instructor is very patient and helpful. Professor Kinfe will give quizzes for extra credit to help each student receive a passing grade. It is important to do all assigned homework because it will count as a grade. I highly recommend him!

He is extremely nice and a good teacher. The course it self is a lot of work , pay attention in his class and you'll pass Study for the test and you will get an A. Over all i would recommend him his accent is a little weird ,but if you have questions he will defiantly help you a good teacher.

Probably the nicest guy that teaches at HCC. Extremely helpful and patient even with idiot students that don't put any effort into the class. Really liked the methods that he uses to teach. Don't like the accent? Good luck in the real world. Do your homework, take the sample tests, and you should do OK in the class.

Wow! He is the most helpful and nicest professors I've ever had.He solves the problems step by step patiently. If you ask him for help he will try his best.If you don't get a question ask him he explains for you even 100 times until u get.He gives extra credit for all.Do the homework & reviews you will get a good grade.I recommend him for all.

Professor Kinfe was a wonderful teacher for my college Algebra class. Yes, his accent can make comprehension difficult sometimes, but he is extraordinarily patient and helpful and genuinely likes the subject he teaches. I had no trouble following him during class and his tests were as easy as the effort you put in for the homework. Would recommend!

Mr. Kinfe was very nice and laid back even though the material for calculus was everchanging and difficult to grasp. For grading had 4 tests w/ lowest grade dropped, final, and hmwk. Kinfe was good about posting pre-test and homewk in learning web. Maybe i have odd taste but attendance wasn't a problem because i enjoyed looking @ him ;-)

Mr. Kinfer is a very good teacher. he has a bit of accent. other than that, he's a very patient guy, and very helpful guy. 3 test plus final. he was nice enough to drop 1 test and replace one test with the final, which is AWESOME!!!!!

Very nice and a very good professor. he will help you as many times as you want. He is patient and friendly. He tries to make the class easy and smiles a lot. Just do your homework from online and his test are over what he thought and they are not that hard. I recommend this professor!

One of a few maths professors who are extremely knowledgeable with a very kind heart. Don't get why people complain about his accent, but hey, it's math if you really are into it, accents shouldn't bother. Professor Kinfe , again, is the greatest math professor. Don't give his accent as an excuse of your failure.

He is the best teacher i ever took in Hcc. He is too easy and all his tests are multiple choice ! He is really a kind nature man and is always there for you. Trust me if you are taking math. Take him and you will thank me for the rest of your life. He's the Best.

My FAVORITE professor of all time! Like in any math class, some studying will be required but he's an incredibly nice guy, gives a bunch of extra credit, his tests are easy as long as you do the homework and he's always willing to help you if you need help understanding a concept. Wish he taught more math classes, I would take him every time!

If you make the effort to pass, he will also make the effort to help. Lectures were sometimes a bit fast for me, I just reviewed through the Learning Web and the homework videos. Come to every class, I missed some lectures and was late a lot due to my job, but Mr. Kinfe was so nice and never gave me a hard time about it. Participate. Ask questions!

He's extremely easy and cool , I took him math 1324 and I got and A . During the semester , he rarely requires us to be in class on time. If you need to choose someone you can study more effectively , he's probably not a good choice . Because I already have some math solving skill, his class is not a problem to me

He's good teacher and tries to help the students as much as possible. I would recommend you do the reviews and H.W. that's online if you want to pass the exams. He's very lay back about attendance and tardies. If I tried harder in the beginning I could of had and A as my average. Also uses the reviews as extra credit for exams

Professor Kinfe it's a very good and nice teacher. I really like his teaching, it is easy to understand the problems and if you have any questions, he will work with you. Pay attention and take notes and make sure to do all the homeworks online, only way to understand the problems on your own and build confidence with math.

Easy A if you do the assigned homework and sample tests. You only fail if you are lazy and don't ask questions. Professor Biniam is very patient and gives plenty opportunity

DO YOUR HW EXERCISES AND TESTS WILL BE VERY EASY. HE GIVES FORMULAS AND DISCUSSES SAMPLE QUESTIONS BEFORE TESTS. EASY TESTS IF YOU PRACTICE. GIVES EXTRA CREDIT. NOT HARD.

Professor Kinfe is a wonderful teacher. He has an accent and doesn't speak very loudly but he makes sure that everyone understands. He taught me things I never understood in high school and I learned so much from him! I would strongly suggest taking him because he really gives clarity to a lot of concepts and explains them thoroughly.

There is a ton of homework, but it's all in connect math so it's easy and you have the whole semester to do it. He is very soft spoken so if you care to learn, sit in the front of the class. You need the book for the connect math access code, but that's it. He is an easy grader, and gives a lot of extra credit.

In fairness to him, he did an exceptional job. He carries students along and is ready to repeat one question 7 times till everyone understands it. If you attend classes regularly, do your homework and read. You will definitely get an A. 1 mistake I made was waiting till the last minute to do my assignments hence, I didn't finish before the deadline

Great Professor. Really cares about his students learning and very patient. I struggled at times in class but he always made it a point to explain and make sure I understood everything perfectly. One of the best professors Ive ever had

He is very patient, very accessible. Answers anyone's questions even if they are repeated. He explains slowly and goes over the exercises over again if necessary, as well in different ways if it is difficult for some to understand. He gives you feedback on answers you got wrong if you ask for it and goes over many sample exercises before an exam.

He was an amazing guy who helped ut and made sure you understood the lesson. Highly recommend picking him as he is just a gem and was an absolute delight to have. Make sure you do the connect math hw.

The class moves very fast, granted it is a college level course. For me, it has been self taught the entire time. Lectures tended to be a review of topics meant to be learned outside of class time. The homework was at your own pace, all due at the end of semester. Lessons were third party video compilations. Tests compiled many chapters.

Professor Kinfe Is very kind and caring. Soft spoken and very helpful. Sadly I'll have to retake this course, because I fell behind on my homework, my fault.

He is always there to explain something when you need help. He gave us until the end of the semester to complete all our homework. Homework is very easy and you have the opportunity to make a 100 on all of them. His teaching could improve a little but if you do the homework then you should be good.

Overall a very nice guy, if you talk to him he will try his best to help you out. Class was pretty test heavy though, and they're all Lockdown browser + Webcam. But if you know what you're doing you can make it. I'd definitely recommend getting Chegg though, it could save your life. Would for sure take him again if I had too.

Professor Kinfe is a great teacher! The class did not require much, just do your homework and show up. He is willing to help and give a little extra credit on your assignments if you regularly attend class and participate. Exams use lockdown browser+camera. I received my grade due to my own effort, but Professor Kinfe will help if you ask.

Great professor. My favorite class this semester, 100% would take again! He has lots of homework, but easy with unlimited attempts. Especially good lectures and notes. The powerpoints were so easy to understand and the tests weren't too hard.

Professor Kinfe is very kind and flexible. He is always willing to help and have excellent manners and attitude. He is also a great teacher. Explains everything very nicely and no question is a bad question for him. Class is very heavy on homework and College Algebra is not an easy class, but Math is not my thing so, that may influence my view too.
