Awful! Don't bother asking her to explain something you don't get, it feels like she is attacking you. She gives out her notes but when she goes through everything she is all over the place. Your best bet is to read the text. I have never left her class without a throbbing headache since she yells the entire time.

Dr. Samuel is extraordinarily clear and well organized in her lectures. Her exams are not super easy but there aren't any tricks. You do have to know the material though, which is NOT an unrealistic expectation, given that it is an exam. She is very accessible outside of class for those who need help. I would take her for every class if I could.
