A Very good teacher...if you don't get it the first time, she'll explain things more than once so you can get the picture...got an A in 2302 and now im taking her for 2301.

This teacher is awesome. She's patient and understanding. I've taken and dropped this class twice before for different reasons but with her I got an easy A. She's the best and she enjoys teaching-that makes all the difference.

If you actually listened and wrote down what she did during her lectures, her class is easy. I slept through one lesson and i was screwed after that, you can listen to her and not read, or not listen to her and read, the first one is easier.

She's easy but if she does not like you from the start, then she always looks at you weird. she has class pets and always suspects people of cheating.

econ is hard as hell but she makes it alittle easier. she is the only teacher i know who gives personal tutoring and she gives her actual cell phone to her students and responds to emails really quickly. shes a dedicated teacher. none like her. i recomend her to everyone looking for a good econ teacher.

Easy B, Hard A. After taking her for Macro i took her for Micro knowing that i would get taught right. Eco is hard and she makes you learn easily. That is why here classes are always full, the other professor from what i heard "SUCK". Just pay attention in class study the reviews and a "A" will be with you.

This teacher is very helpful and her tests are mostly like her reviews. I just took her for the mini session and she devoted most of her time to help us after the class was over. She loves her job and teaches well. I learned alot if you pay attention and do the reviews. Easy B hard A.

Her lecture is very interesting but her test has no correlation with her lecture. If you want a "B", you must have a good grasp of the lessons. And to pass her class you must have the ability to apply with what you were taught. Test is kind of like the AP test in high school. ALL MULTIPLE CHOICE. Otherwise, Very cool and easy-going teacher.

She is very adept at breaking down concepts, however many students do poorly because they can not recognize the questions on test, and to match it with what was lectured in class. there is a test booklet reserved in the library,make sure you study it, and you will do well. she's very pleasant

TAKE HER!!!! I don't know why her easiness rating is so low...it says 3.4 easiness, but it should be easily at least 4.0. She's extremely helpful! I'm finishing up her May-Mini-Mester right now...it's a piece of cake...100s or more on all the tests...however if struggle a bit more, expect grade more like a lower A or B. Make a C if you dont try

minimester microecon...take her...easy...i dont do any work outside of class (no homework)...i dont even study for the tests until i get to class...easy A...but im smart (not a genius, but smart).

She's a really great professor. Attend her classes, write good notes, and you'll fine. If you need help, just ask her and she will offer her help.

About her tests: go to the irvin tucker book's companion site, do the questions there and study the definitions. Write good lecture notes and learn them well. Graphs: very important, master them. Whatever she emphasizes on the board (graphs usually) is the bonus question. I got 100+ in all her tests with bonuses. Good Luck!

Over all the examples she gives are helpful but she complains about being there (esp. her morning class) and she has to be corrected at least once each class. If you are confused about something she can further confuse you by trying to understand her own question, or the practice quizzes she does with the class. Can Be Frustrating!

BEST TEACHER IN HCCS.

this prof is awesome.tons of extra credits in the class. she literally told us the test answers last semester and she wants her students to learn something from the class and use the stuff in practical life.

I had her for Fall 2010. She's always late and unorganized but she's very helpful. Most people who leave negative comments don't come to class or don't take the time to learn the graphs. Don't need the textbook, a few online quizzes and 4 tests (including final) and she drops one. Pay attention and you'll likely get an A like me!

She's a alright teacher she could respond to emails more often. Maybe get an assistant. Have lots of respect for her. She's got too much on her plate

Professor Ashraf is a great! I took her class at Spring 2011. She explains the material very clearly, you just have to attend the class regularly, different you will be lost in graphs. I did not have a book, but she was very kind and offers to the students her books to use, so I got one from her.I wish we had more professors like her.

This teacher was wonderful !!! I made an A no problem. I just took it Spring 2011 at night. She tried to entertain us with her jokes to keep us awake but did not work at all times. She gave us homework and then we went over it in class and she posted the correct answers on blackboard and used the same exact questions on her test. EASY!!

Mrs. Ashraf is a really nice teacher. She gives you a lot of work because she does not want you to be failed in her class. I wish i could take her again. If you work hard, you'll deserved it. I made an A in her class. She does not want people cheating either. Be aware cheater! i would highly recommend her for people who are not lazy.

Great teacher. Late and unornized but will try to help student as much as she can. Will let you finish test even if you ran out of time. I would still recommend her but not on a friday night. I still dunno my grade but im quite sure that I get the grade I deserve.

She is very helpful, and tells the students to read the book to better understand the material. I did what she did and came out with an A in the class. Just make sure to read the book and keep on top of things and it's an assured A!

Best teacher in Economics. She explains terms and relations pretty well. The key to passing her class is understanding the relationship between the different graphs. It's not a hard concept and you'll be glad you took this course. The prof is a bit disorganized but there's no HW or quizzes. Textbook not needed. Easy A if just listen.

The tests were just like the reviews. However, you need to study the review because she did not give all the answers. If you do not understand anything, she is willing to explain to you and make sure you get it before she move on to the next points. Overall, best professor!!

Took her for macro and micro econ. She's unorganized but if you pay attention to the things she lectures, you can do well on the exams. You may have to do alot of learning on your own for certain concepts but the exams itself are fairly easy and are the majority of the grade makeup. You gotta work for your grade

Professes Ashrafs class was a bit disorganized but she usually made amendments as soon as she could. She had only 3 major tests including the final and most of her online work was Fairly easy well. The exam questions can be found in quizlet and chegg. No written assignments and HW quizzes like other teachers.
