This professor is one of the best I have ever studied under! He is very hands on with his students, he makes the Accounting process very understandable, answers emails almost immediately, and is available after class until you understand what you are struggling with. He makes the class very enjoyable and is fair to all students!

Currently taking his class at night. Tuesday's are mandatory and Thursday are not, but you get extra credit if you come for 90min. You do your work alone. No lecture or lab. But hes always there to help. Easy for you to fall behind as you have to take the quizzes in class. So far ok class, wont take again.

You can tell he's passionate about what he teaches. This class is "work at your own pace," but keep up or you will fall behind and cram at the end of the semester. He 's basically there to help if you need it. 4 "challenges" which are the equivalent to exams done in groups. Would take again.

Much more demanding then 2401. It's a normal lecture class. Quizzes everyday, but it's only definitions right from the book, could get 100 for last minute reading. Tons of extra credit. 4 tests, if your final test is higher then the other 3 then it also replaces the lowest. He really cares about his students. No homework given. 12 group activities.

Okera is a great professor, helpful and knowledgeable. Class is designed like an online class... students work at their own pace: do not take if you prefer traditional lectures. It's better to ask for help outside of class time (e-mail, office hours, text, phone). No homework, work is all in class. Textbook is a must but he has a spare one in case.

I highly recommend this Professor Bishop! He is one of the best professors I've taken! His lectures are long but interesting and fun. Prepare to be in a group and a lot of group work. There is a lot of test and assignments but they help with mastering the units. If you struggled in accounting are not a big fan of it, you should defiantly take him!

I took his accounting class this summer, a 12 week course. it was really tough. There was a quiz due at the beginning of every class. And there is an assessment due at the end of every class. He is always excited to teach and goes into depth in order to make sure you understand. But if you don't want to be engaged you may not like the class.

He is a great teacher. He makes sure you understand the subject very well. There are a lot of assessment but they pay off in the long run.

Really great professor and is willing to answer any and all questions you have! Be ready to do a group projects for the majority of the semester. Expect homework to be due at the end of class and assessments due at the beginning, but don't fret because they're pretty easy!

Although there are a lot of exams, this is helpful in the long run as he drops the two lowest grades. He is available almost all day everyday. He has a lot of activities and in-class projects as well. This is the first teacher I have had that actually modifies his class according to recommendations of students.

I am definitely taking this professor again. There is a test for every chapter and they are all cumulative and I wish I would have known that before I signed up for the class, but they are very helpful. If you do all of the work and come to class, you'll get an A. I learned a lot in this class and would recommend it to everyone.

I have taken Okera Bishop for Accounting 2401 and 2402 and I would retake him if I could. He is a great professor who teaches with clarity and follows the syllabus directly. He is not an easy A and he will make you work for your grades, but he also gives plenty of extra credit and multiple tries on tests. Also, is always willing to help and tutor.

Okera's class is really good, he has a decent amount of homework but it's pretty easy. He also lets you take the tests twice so you can get a higher grade. The only thing you need for the class is the myaccountinglab access code, the book isn't necessary as he goes over everything in class and does lots of examples.

If you are looking to actually understand accounting, this is your guy. He listens to students' input and actually adapts to good ideas. The tests are cumulative, but there are quite a few and the two lowest get dropped. This means that you can't easily fail.

Okera is a helpful, friendly, and clear about his homework and exams. He gives extra credits and he stays in his office and welcome students to come ask questions. If you need help outside of campus, he can be reached by text or email easily. I took his ACCT 2401 with an A and ACCT 2402 (not listed yet). Follow his syllabus, you will get an A.

Professor Bishop is amazing. He's a very personable professor, and he makes the information very easy to understand and interesting. He's very engaging, and offers multiple opportunities for extra credit on a regular basis. It's also awesome that for every test you take, you're allowed a page of notes to help you out.

It is a pretty easy course but you must attend class, and keep up with homework and test every week, towards the end of semester tests get a bit harder but overall is a good class you should do good no problem as long as you do what is required of you.

He managed to make a two hour 8:00 am class fun and interesting. Class participation and attendance do matter because most of the material builds off of previous material so if you miss a day plan on playing catch up. Be prepared to take a test ever week over all previous material but the test are relatively easy and short at around 25 questions.

I liked this class because even though there is a lot of work it's mostly done in class with his help. Many many tests, about 12, BUT don't freak. It is wonderful. I wish more professors did it. Allows many opportunities for extra credit. Some things will be hard to grasp but it is well worth taking.

I would take Okera again. He was very clear on grading and he gives a lot of extra credit. Every other test is taken at the testing center and the other test are taken at home, notes are allowed on both testing center and home. He takes his time to ensure his students understand the materials.

I think he is a great teacher. Every test is on the computer. You are allowed one side of notes when you take the test and you have 2 attempts. We always work together in class which is nice. The group activities are great especially for the long work. Helps when you get stuck on a problem that you can get help from other. I love the drop ruled for assignments because it offers leeway for the tougher parts of course towards the end when finals and final group projects are hitting at the same time.

I was kind of scared to take Okera Bishop this past semester. Now, I am taking him next semester again for ACCT 2402. Okera Bishop is the best professor I have had hands down. If you do your homework/practice test and you pass, you will DEFINITELY pass the class. You MUST show up, not because of the points, but because he gives handouts that are exactly like the homework/practice test. There are also a lot of extra credits opportunities. Professor Bishop gives you so much extra credit that it would be unbelievable to fail this class. He even drops a couple of assignments and exams so knowing that it helps having a back up plan if you don't feel good about a particular subject. However, he takes his job serious and I promise you; you won't regret taking his class.

Great professor. My first accounting class, i was scared but his explanation and dynamics made it all easier. He is pretty straight forward and he will be more than happy to aid you if you require assistance. The structure of his class is made so that you have as much practice as you need. Would take again with him if i had to. Very charismatic :P

At first, this class was daunting, but if you stick it through, it isn't so bad. Attendance matters! Missing a lecture means you will likely fail the chapter test. This professor is hilarious and helpful. 10/10 would take again.

His class started out easy, but I found myself struggling to understand the material as the semester progressed. Overall the class was enjoyable.

Class attendance is counted for a grade and there are no make up assignments, but there are a ton of dropped assignments and extra credit opportunities if you do miss any assignments.

Okera is hands down one of the best professors I have taken in college. He is very helpful and gives a good amount of extra credit just in case you miss a class or two. Okera is always trying to find ways to improve his teaching and cater towards each student's specific needs. Explains concepts clearly and gives enough practice in class to grasp the material. Textbook is not necessary and the online code is useful for extra credit. He also keeps the class interesting with different TED talks and the like!

I would definitely recommend Okera as a professor to take. He is knowledgeable in accounting. Willing to explain anything you need help with understanding. He does not make you feel as though you are supposed to already know the material. He is available a number of different ways in the even you have a question with anything.

This professor has you print out all of your course materials each week from home, so if you do not have a printer, you will have to print your assignments out at school. All of the tests in this class are CUMULATIVE! You do get one cheat sheet per test, but it can only be one sided (typed or written).

There is a bunch of packets that need to be printed out for class, so stock up on printer paper. This class offers quite a bit of extra credit so it is hard to fail. Professor Okera is a great guy, he really knows his stuff. My recommendation to you if you want to take this professor be prepared to GO to class. its not mandatory, but if you want the A, go to class and take lots of notes. All of his exams are cumulative. This is not an easy class, but getting an A is possible.

Okera is wonderful! Would highly recommend him. Im planning on taking him again in the spring. He lets you bring in a one page cheat sheet for the tests and gives out practice exams before them. He's tries really hard to make the class interesting and I appreciate it.

He is a great professor. He gives tons of extra credit opportunities. His tests can be difficult but he gives you practice exams the class before the test. You do have to print a lot of papers for every class.

Okera clearly cares about accounting and educating his students. Lectures also follow a set routine: A brief video, clear and precise chapter lecture, in-class work. If you pay attention and study, it can come easy, and he directly addresses what you did wrong. There are also several extra credit opportunities throughout. Would recommend.

I found this course to be very informative. During this entire course Mr. Okera was very hands on during the lectures. He does give out class materials online to use in class and is very helpful. If you come to class and actually pay attention, do the assignments (which are a grade) in every single class, you will learn. You are able to use a cheat sheet for every exam which is VERY helpful. For 2402, after taking this professor for 2401, I would say that 2402-Managerial -Accounting is easier than 2401-Financial. There are more structured group exercises, testing for exams is at the testing center making use of a 2 sided help sheet and you have get 3 attempts, quizzes are done through ACCT. lab online, with infinite attempts.

I actually enjoyed this class and the professor very much! If you're looking to take this class, then I would definitely recommend taking Okera. He helps you understand the materials that he is teaching, and you'll feel great when you understand it. Show up, do the work, and DO THE EXTRA CREDIT. He gives you every chance to succeed.

Okera is an amazing professor. You must earn your grade, he will not give it to you. He is very knowledgable in Accounting. You have many opportunities to earn extra credit with the purchase of My Accounting Lab. Be prepared to have ink and paper for your printer. A lot of printing is required.

He allows cheatsheets for his tests, lowest grade out of 4 tests is dropped. The class is fun and he is very helpful. He is very accessible out of class and even offers tutorinng for accounting. It is important to attend class to understand the material, the book is rarely used, you do need the access code though if you want to do the extra credit!

AMAZING teacher! Really gets the class going by starting class with Kahoot quiz to refresh your memory from the last lectures. Final harder than you think, fill in the blanks, prepare. I received A's on all quizzes and Exams, but 79% on Final. Must take this Prof. Point Scale.

Okay so I took his accounting class online everything is online no homework just quizzes and exams. You can take the quizzes as many times as you want. Everything is online including tests and the final. You get two chances to take the final and every test. He sets a clear grading criteria everything must be higher than a 70.

I changed my Major because of this man. This is a hard class, but for both my accounting credits he made it easy. I wish more teachers would have the talent that he has to teach. Also, anything under a 70 doesn't get points. Which is awesome since you can take the tests & final multiple times.

Best Accounting teacher !. Highly recommend to attend class, so you'll understand the topic taught by him. He uses Pearson access code which has powerpoints, video lectures and you have to do the work and quizzes there. No makeup assignments. You want a good grade, you have to work for it. Pay attention and understand the subjects, and you'll pass.

His quizzes are cumulative. By the end of the semester it will take at least one and a half hours to complete the quizzes. Also, he adds the classwork from acct 2301 to acct 2302. For example, in acct 2302 the quiz will consist of a chapter learned in acct 2301 and one chapter learned from acct 2302. Also, he does not round your grade average up.

Class taking during a winter mini-semester. There are three opportunities to retake each quiz with a grade of 70 or higher. He is very detailed in his videos which will help your grade on the quiz. It is very evident the professor is knowledgeable about the material. I highly recommend this professor for all accounting classes. I learned a lot.

Ive only taken him online** but there are 7 quizzes 3 exams plus a final. Drops the lowest test and quiz grade. Course information is open during exams and quizzes and there is no time limit. I have no idea what this professor is like inperson, but judging by the reviews, they're alright, but I can't give a good rating to a professor who uses McGrawHill's LearnSmart for their online class. It's literally just the LearnSmart program, not a class. Dump LearnSmart and make the course primarily on D2L.

The class was very informative and fun, we took the material we were learning and used it in real life scenarios in class activities. The professor was down to earth and funny when lecturing and that made the class enjoyable.

Everything is done through LearnSmart & there's a lot of extra credit. The only way you can fail this class is if you don't try. Answers are not on quizlet.

Online class is done entirely through the infuriating McGraw Hill Connect with nothing done on the part of the professor beyond putting in the grade you get on the assignments McGraw Hill comes up with. Doesn't even respond to emails either. Maybe it's different for inperson classes, but online? He doesn't care.

I took his ACCT 1301 minimester online and 1302 summer session 1 classes online during the summer and they were both great! He has a very clear grading criteria and very easy to make a good grade if you stay on top of assignments. He responds to text quickly and is very helpful! So much better than taking it at a university and I learned more too!

TAKE HIS ONLINE CLASS. You get graded upon: 11 Hw's (1 per chapter), 11 quizzes, a midterm and final. He gives you extra credit for just doing the readings and gives you multiple attempts on everything before the due date. It's an online class so it's open book/internet and McGraw hill gives you video hints on how to do hw's.

Highly recommend taking Professor Bishop! He really cares about you learning and fully understanding the material. His lecture videos help 100%, he goes above and beyond when he makes those for us. He follows the syllabus so you know what's coming up. Will gladly help answer questions you have and emails back promptly. Take his course!!

Overall he gives excellent lectures; granted there area lot of them if you take the online course. One thing I will mention is that you cannot wait until the due date to get course work done. With the amount of work it is best to begin early and finish minor things later in the week. Great professor and I would definitely take this course again.

It can be difficult; however, you get the swing of things. He allows several low grades to be dropped. He provides extra credit. He allows multiple attempts on most things. A thing I didn't like was after getting something wrong on a quiz, he doesn't tell you the correct answer. Don't procrastinate. Watch the lectures. Do the work. You'll be good.

This is by far the best class I have taken! It is an easy A, only thing you need is to log in everyday and watch the lectures. On the majority of the assignments you get more than one attempt, which is sooooo helpful, he is clear about what he wants and responds back quick and is flexible when you request a tutorial. He is very clear as in what he wants, he goes over the lectures in details, 16 chapters but he skips chapter 7 and 15. He answer emails back ASAP and is very flexible. EASY A, you need to take his class.

I took him for an 8-week course, so I was prepared for how heavy the workload is. You will pass this class if you watch the videos and have the notes given with the lecture. He goes over problems with you through videos that you can follow with. Make sure to complete all assignments and not to do everything last minute.

Professor Bishop knows his content and covers it well. I took his online, 8 week course, which was a lot of work but he posted videos step-by-step for almost every assignment. I took his 8-week course online, and I have to say: TAKE NOTES! the theory quizzes are straight out of his lecture notes, so make sure to watch all his lectures, because it will be exactly how it is if you had to attend his class in person. At first it seemed a lot but then when you look at the course its clear and doable to finish tasks within a day or two. Professor Bishop responds very fast to emails and texts. He also has clear lectures that are straight to the point and arent stretched out. There are no tests except the final. The quizzes are pretty easy but they're not online. You have to be more engaged in the course but it actually teaches you and it's pretty much busy and baby work

I took ACCT 2301 online in a may-mester course with Professor Bishop and he is an amazing professor. Although accounting was tough for me, his videos and lectures helped a lot. The class was not easy the whole time, a few chapters that are tough, but he really is a great teacher and I would 100% take his class again.

This is my second time taking Professor Bishop and he is amazing. I took this class as a credit to transfer over to A&M and I learned so much more than when I took it at A&M. This was a fast paced class because it was a minimester but it was extremely easy to stay on track. If you have the chance, take him! Easy A if you put the effort in.

Drops the lowest 1-2 grades depending on the category. Each unit is consistent: lecture, quiz, quiz, practice problem. Professor Bishop is quick to respond (promises 24 hours, usually got back to me within 12). If you do the work, you'll be fine. There are discussions though. :(

I loved taking this class. He gives you multiple tries on the quizzes. As long as you follow along with the videos there would be no confusion with the class. On the syllabus, he says there is no extra credit but he offers it in the last week. I recommend taking him as a mini-mester. Just make sure you keep up with the class.

This is the most organized course that I have ever taken. The professor divides the whole chapter into small pieces and has a video and PowerPoint for each piece. He also has instructions and examples for quizzes. Just focus on all of the videos he posted, you'll pass.

This professor is awesome at explaining. Assignment can be followed up with a step-by-step instructional video that helps 100%. I took this class for the summer 3-week mini-mester and it wasn't too bad for ACCT class. There is a lot of work maybe because I took the 3-week semester however it is easy math.

He was very clear on how he graded assignments. I took his 3 week course and had 3-4 assignments due everyday besides Sundays. My advice would be to try and work ahead especially if you work a lot. The only thing is that even by completing all my assignments, if you fail the final exam it could bring your grade from an A to a C.

Overall good class! I took his 3 week mini-mester and we had 3 or 4 assignments due everyday which is not too bad considering you are taking a 16 week class in 3 weeks. 3 quizzes over each chapter and 5 discussions the whole semester. I would say to actually look at his lectures because they help a lot. He drops lowest 2 for each type of quiz.

Bishop is a fairly easy professor. He is super organized, grades quick, and is always able to help if needed. His example videos for assignments that week and very helpful and you don't really have to use the textbook to learn the material.

I took 3 weeks online ACCT2301 course with Professor Bishop and I got an A in it. Even though this was my first 3-week course this was one of the easy classes I've taken. Follow his videos exactly as he breaks it down and your will do well. Ignore the textbook and focus on his lecures. They are much better.

This was a great class! Everything was clearly laid out and was easy to work through. Professor Bishop gives great feedback and really wants to help his students pass. You get multiple attempts on most assignments which allows you to understand better the things you miss. I highly recommend this class whether you are taking it for credit or not.

He has hard deadlines and will not budge on them, but his class was VERY straightforward and his lessons and assignments were extremely easy to complete. If you know how to use Excel, you can add the formulas that he walks you step-by-step to complete in his videos and it's an easy A with actual learning; just make sure you watch his videos.

This professor definitely put in a lot of work and organization into this course. His lectures are very understandable and the assignments are straightforward. Was impressed by the layout of the course and grateful I did not have to purchase some e-book/content. Follow his instructions, and you will do well. I definitely recommend this professor.

He has some of the most detailed lectures, but every bit of information is crucial for the theory quizzes he gives out. The computation and comprehensive quizzes are given with walk through examples with similar questions and it's very helpful in completing them. Professor Bishop is a great professor who wants you to do well in his class, take him!

I took Professor Okera for ACCT 2301 & 2302 online. I was nervous about accounting, but he made it so easy. I passed 2301 with a 101% and 2302 with a 99.70% but after I complete extra credit, I should pass with over a 100%. Lots of work, but more than one attempt on everything. Several lowest grades get dropped at end of class. No textbooks needed.

Just do your work do not get behind this teacher makes it nearly impossible to fail. Just do not fall behind. Great teacher too! I have had him twice for both required accounting classes have not had a bad experience at all.

I personally thought this class was easy. You just need to do the work and turn it on time. I took notes of every quiz and it really helped towards the end. I would say the final was a little different because it was only six questions. He gives you a practice final and it has 13 questions on it and out of 13 he picks 6.

Take as many of his classes as you can! Professor Okera is a wonderful teacher. His explanations were clear and to the point. If you do a little bit of work every day or so, you will get an A. I took a summer mini-mester and it was no problem. Do not waste your time on a 16 week course. Take one of his accelerated classes. You won't regret it!

I took a short one-month course for Summer 2021 and let's say it was wonderful, full of knowledge and also not too heavyload (for a person who wants to also enjoy their summer).

Online 8 week class. 12 chapters with 3 assignments each , and a cumulative final at the end. Very easy, just watch the lectures and follow the instructions and youll make a good grade. Professor explains the material very well and has an organized course layout in D2L.

It was not a really hard class since he teaches very well all of the subjects. He does not ask questions outside of what he says in the videos. It was very time-consuming, but if you put time and effort into it, it is an easy A. I would take this class again.

I took professor Okera for Accounting 2301 (8 week course). I have already signed up to take him next spring semester for Accounting 2302, which explains it all. Professor provides videos for each chapter that help immensely. Shows you step by step on how to complete the work. I highly suggest taking professor Okera.

Professor Okera is the best professor I have ever had. He explains all of the content in a way that's easy to understand in his lectures. He grades quickly, gives good feedback, and is easily accessible and responds to messages super quickly. He is a fantastic teacher and I will definitely be taking his accounting 2302 class next semester.

I was hesitant about taking an 8 week accounting course online but this professor made all concepts easy to understand in his lecture videos. His class is organized and he explains what the quizzes entail. You get the opportunity to improve quiz and assignment grades. He provides good feedback quickly. Great professor! Really explains everything to where you can understand it and apply it to your work. Only downside is that the 8 week course is kind of tough if you're a full time worker and student like me. It's A LOT of time to put in per week. But other than that, fairly easy class if you pay attention and listen to all of the lectures.

Professor Bishop does an amazing job with clearly explaining grading polices, putting grades in, and has very thorough lectures that help a lot. He is easy to contact for any questions. The only downside is there is a lot of homework, but once you have time set aside for it, you're good. I recommend this Professor for anyone taking ACCT 2301!

There are a lot of videos for one chapter. It is a bit time consuming to get through all of them but honestly a great professor overall. Would definitely take him again even though accounting isn't my strong suit.

I didnt pass because this was an 8 week course and it was just a lot on me considering I had 2 other courses and a full time job and before I knew it, the due date to drop the class was passed. This professor makes accounting very clear to understand, especially for those who have trouble with the subject in general. The lecture videos were straight to the point, and very informative. As long as you watch every lecture video and do all your assignments, this class is great.

The course structure is very organized. What you see on your syllabus is what you get. The teacher does lecture videos to go along with Chapters assigned for the week. Watch those as they are useful for practice problems and the quizzes. You also get multiple attempts on quizzes which are super helpful! I only wish I took him for ACCT2301.

Professor Okera was great! He has specific video lectures for each section. All sections also had notes. All work was pretty straightforward if you watch the video and look at the notes. You will not be able to use Quizlet and you will actually learn something in this class. He was GREAT! Definitely would take him again

I took a mini section (3 weeks) and it's kind of too many things to do but you do have another chance to do it again for a better score. All of his lessons have videos that explain clearly, just focus and follow what he says and you will surely pass. Hope I could take his ACCT 2302 class.

Okera Bishop is by far the best professor i have had for accounting. He gives clear instructions for all assignments that go in depth, and doesn't expect students to know and memorize all the accounting information as it is the first time most of us are ever seeing it. He's also accessible by phone whenever you need him and responds promptly.

I enjoyed this class, it was very informative and I felt like ive learned more from it than most classes, dont miss days since you have so little of them. No make up work but extra credit at the end and you have a certain amount of grades you can drop. He walks you through every assignment so you know what to do.

Professor Okera is such an organized online teacher I am always scared of taking online courses for this reason but it was great even for it being a mini-mester course it was great. If you are able to take him go ahead. One thing though you can't miss one day in mini course something is due everyday.

Very knowledgeable professor and he gives you all the notes, examples, and explanations that you need to pass this class. At the end of the class you will have gained valuable knowledgeable. This is not a freebie; you have to do the work, but Professor Okera does his job in making sure that you have what you need to pass.

He drops your lowest 2 grades from 2 of the homework categories. And If I didn't understand something for a homework assignment he most likely has an instructional video posted. Overall he was very helpful in my understanding of the assignments and course.

I was nervous because this was my first three week course. I decided to take a chance and was blown away. Great teacher who has lectures for each aspect of the chapter. There is work due everyday two quizzes and a third assignment. I promise if you pay attention it will go well for you. It also helps that he drops between one to two of your lowest.

This was the best professor ever!!! His structure is so organized. I never took a complex math class online before but I not only took it online but I also took a 3-week mini-master. Anyways, it's mainly a lot of assignments that are totally doable and just one final exam.

Be prepared to spend at least 3 hours a day to look at notes, assignments, and quizzes. Overall this course was very good. He is good at responding back to you and giving you the information you need for each assignment.

I took Acct 2301 in the Fall and just completed a mini mester of ACCT 2302 both with Professor Bishop. The textbook is free so you dont have to purchase a book. There is a lot of material. However, this professor is great at breaking down the chapters and explaining them. If you watch his videos and work out the problems you will do great.

This class was fast paced because I took the winter mester, and while it was difficult sometimes, the professor is really helpful. He posts videos explaining the content and how to work problems step by step. He is also available for zoom meetings if you don't understand something.

This class was great! I took it in a 3 week course. He gave very clear instructions to our quizzes, and as long as you watch the videos he gives you, you will do great in the class! He also answered all of my emails super fast, and always was willing to help even late at night. 110% would take him again!

Took his managerial accounting class in the mini semester. There was tons of work. Do not think you can just look up the answers for this class. However, his quizzes are based off his lectures which you will do great on if you take notes. -these lectures have power point notes linked with them so there is no reason not to make a good grade.

Lonestar College needs to protect this man at all costs. If you have a mindset to put in the work for this class you will do well. I took a mini-mester so it was a lot of work due daily but his video lectures will give you everything you need to know to do well on the test. I highly recommend this professor for anything Accounting.

I took a three week mini mester with prof okera and he was great. I got covid the second week in and he was very understanding. Lectures are easy to understand and assignments are simple. Awesome choice!

I would definitely take this class again with this professor. The class was a little challenging but you should expect that taking a 3 week mini-mester for accounting. What the teacher expects from you is very clear and the class is easy to follow regarding what and when things are due because it is basically the same everyday.

I took a minimester and it was a great experience. It is lots of work but you will do well. He gives many attempts for assignments and that helps alot. He returned work super quickly and was a very good lecturer. This class is super fast paced because it is 3 weeks but so worth it.

He is an amazing professor, he gives you power point presentations and makes videos to explain those power points which I think it's great. The only thing is that the discussion posts have to be a minimum of 400 words but other than that, the class was good, just do the work on time and you should be fine.

I took this class acct 2301 this spring 2022, and it is the best class I have ever taken. The lecture videos he posts are exactly what you have to do on the all the quizzes he gives you. Quizzes are all timed. One Final no midterm. You should end up with an A in this class I will be taking him for acct 2302 as well God willing.

This professor is amazing. Fairly easy if you pay attention and follow along. The only way you can fail this class is if you don't put in effort. I took this class as an 8wk course and it wasn't hard to keep up with. He gives out 6 assignments per week, all assignments include videos going over all of the material step by step.

This class was pretty straight forward, its the same thing everything week. Two quizzes and a question, is a little hard because if you don’t get the exact number for the quizzes is counted as 0/30 points but are allowed three attempts. If you watch the videos he goes into detail about the questions and guides you through it.

For an 8 week course, this was a pretty straightforward class with clear and detailed instructions on how to do the work. The assignments are time consuming with three quizzes per chapter but the work is doable and easy to understand. Overall this was a great class.

This was my very first time taking an online course so I was reluctant at first. But Professor Bishop does an amazing job in his lectures. He gives you multiple chances on quizzes and tests. He responded to my email within 24 hours and he's very encouraging. Because of him and this class I'm rethinking my major.

This class is great for online students. The syllabus and lectures have clear instruction and expectations. He gives you examples that you can follow; and also give you more than one chance to get it correct. He is an excellent professor; and explains everything really well. Not only did I pass the course, but I actually learned!

This professor was amazing. He post videos for each chapter, he clearly explains each topic, he includes examples as well. He does provide a textbook. however, he explains everything well enough in his videos that I did not need to use the textbook. We did have an assignment every night almost, two quizzes and an assignment, but they are doable.

I loved the class. I was really worried about taking a 3wk course since I am a worker, but as long as you dedicate atleast 2-4hrs a day this class should be a cake walk to any. Amazing lectures, quick to responding to emails and quick to grade. Do not worry about the deadlines they might be scary at 1st, but I promise yall it is actually a breeze.

Amazing professor to take for Accounting 2301 online minimesters. Although it was ALOT of work due all the time, that is expected for most minimesters. He uses both power points as well as videos to thoroughly teach concepts. He is also very generous with retakes on assignments to get higher grades. Relatively an easy A if you just do the work.

This class was fairly easy as long as you do the work. He posts videos and lectures explaining the material. He also responds to emails in a timely manner. My only frustration was the discussion posts because mine messed up after being posted and I fell short of the word count by maybe 3 words and received a zero for the assignment.

He is awesome! Such a great class! He provides video lectures where he describes everything in detail. All the quizzes are very easy to get full points on and related to the material.

Taking the mini version of the class will be a very difficult-paced class because you will have a chapter's worth of work due each day. But if you're willing to put the time and energy into the course, you can pass. As for the professor himself, he's fantastic! He has super helpful reviews of the types of problems you'll work with.

I took the 3 week version of this class online. You can work ahead. 13 chapters, 1 a day (get some days off), 3 assignments per chapter. The excel HWs build on each other, so set up the sheet to only use formulas so u can copy and paste them. Watch the lectures, he's a great professor and explains things logically. Easy if u put in the time.

This class was amazing! I honestly did not once use the free textbook the professor provided. His lectures were that GOOD! I liked this class, but it has lots of homework, because of lots of homework in this class I had to drop one class, because of lots of homework. I am not interested in Business, so I was bored taking this class.

At first, I was scared of taking accounting because I had not taken math in years. But I am glad that it was with Professor Bishop! This course was well organized and structured, which made the class very easy to process. Of course, there were some difficult chapters to comprehend but there are his lectures if you need to come back to watch them!

I knew nothing about accounting before this class and ended up with a good grade. His lecture videos will save you as he walks you step by step so that you can understand.

This class is pretty straight forward and easy. He provides video lectures for each chapter and gives multiple tries in some assignments. He also drops lowest grades in some categories and replies to emails fast. Definitely time consuming but you will understand learn a lot.

I took his 8-week accounting 2301 course. I definitely underestimated how fast-paced it would be (I have taken 8-week classes before, but this one is on another level). I have to work a lot, so this class was hard for me to stay on top up; however, he is an excellent professor, and as long as you put in the time and effort, it is easy to succeed.

Such a good accounting class!! Prof. Okera has SO many lecture videos available to help you with all quizzes and assignments. He doesn't have extra credit, but he drops you two lowest grades in each type of assignment. I took the 8 week course. It is a lot of work every week, but the lectures help you get it done. Definitely recommend this class!!
