He has a wonderful personality and is fit for his job. He makes learning fun, and keeps you interested in discussions using current events for examples. He grades fairly, and helps you obtain quality writing skills. He is a true asset to PJC.

I took his online class. It was my first online class but I got an A. Easy grading. I mostly got high B's on my papers and got an A in the class. You only have 5 papers to write and the rest where simple discussion boards to contribute.

Mr. Wall is a very nice, funny guy. He always keeps class interesting. I got an A in his class and let me tell you, it was a pretty easy one. I didn't feel very challenged, but I am pretty good in English.

For attendance, I put that it was mandatory. Although, he allowed me to take at 12 day trip to PA and counted me as there on the roster. He allowed me to turn in my assignments via E-mail while I was away. He gives you back your essay, and lets you edit and turn them back in. He is the best teacher I've had, yet. Im taking his 7:30 Comp II, YAY

Just submitted the final. Ok, this class requires ALOT of reading. Duh, it's literature right? But, you have to read and analyze. Take the online class, it is alot easier, and I think it is better to read on your own schedule than in class. Midterm and Final are identification and short essay. Plus, two 1000 word essays. Nice guy, easy class!

He is an ok teacher but a pretty funny guy. There is a lot of reading but he is pretty good about covering it in class. The only thing i didn't like was that he wasn't very clear on what he wanted you to do so if you need help, you need to see him outside of class.

Easy class. He will answer your questions timely and he will work with you if you have a problem. Online is way easier than sitting in a class room. Highly recommend.

Mr. Wall is a great teacher. He is definitely the best Out of all the ENG teachers I have come across. A lot of reading, journal and discussion posts. He is very informative and gives helpful feedback on essays. I took his on-line class and there is a lot of work involved but its worth it. When it comes time to take a test you will be thankful.

I took his online American Lit class. There is a LOT of work involved. I never recieved any feedback on my grades which frustrated me. Easy if you have the time to put into it.

He is a very good teacher. He knows what he is talking about and is very helpful to those who request help. As long as you read when you are supposed to and write about what he wants, you will pass the class with an A.

Great Instructor, very thorough and crystal clear course syllabus that's presented. Alot of reading and comprehending and writing. Take advantage of it you can learn alot from Mr. Wall. He's a hard grader but gives Great directions as to your errors.

I took AML 2020 online. Mr. Wall had the site set up in a way that made it perfectly clear what you needed done and when. Lots of discussions, but it was an online class. He does take a little bit too long to grade things, which was frustrating. But other than that he was a good and fair teacher. I would reccomend him.

I took him for comp 1 online and in high school prior to that. Amazing teacher online and in person. You will learn a lot and he will work with you to help you get a good grade.

I took his American Lit course online. As long as you've read everything directed in the syllabus, the class is super easy. There is a LOT of reading though, so make sure you have enough time to dedicate to it. Grading takes longer than usual, but he's very fair and thorough. Would definitely recommend.

Took him online and he had everything set up perfectly. If you read what's assigned, then you will make an A. He grades pretty slow and you rarely hear from him throughout the course, but honestly you don't need to. Everything is easily accessed and perfectly clear. Would take him again.

I took Wall for an online summer course of English Comp. 1. I really enjoyed the promptness of his replies.(Usually within a day or two)Didn't like the content and subject of some of the essays and homework, but other than that it was fine. Enjoyed the class, learned a lot, and recommend him to anyone as a great teacher in English. A great teacher.

AMAZING! This is my 3rd time taking him; 1st time with him online. Lots of reading.. but hey, it's a literature class. what did you expect? Discussion board post are required once a week. Everything is on the stories. Read them and you will do great!

Mr. Wall was a good teacher. I am not a liberal arts major so this class had no interest to me. Although he kept the class interesting. Mr. Wall is NOT very quick about returning papers. I would take another class from him.

mr wall is great. you will love him. he makes every minute of his classes something you will look forward to. he does teach english so you have to do a bit of reading but nothing compared to some other teachers. he is by far the best english teacher i've had in college.

Mr.Wall is an excellent teacher however, and he does make the class very interesting. Mr. Wall leads discussions that are usually pretty interesting. The entire class does follow topics pretty well and he is quite humorous with a good group. A little reading required(easy). Papers are pretty easy if you follow his tips. Excellent Professor. Took this online. Lots of reading and discussion boards. Piece of cake if thats your thing. 3 essays, research paper and annotated bibliography.Quiz for each section (open book). He answered my emails quickly and syllabus was very easy to follow. I would recommend his online class & would take him again if there was a need.

He is always willing to give a helping hand. Easy to follow. Only downfall is it takes him awhile to post grades so you stay in suspense, but besides this I would take him again.

The only problem I had with this professor is that he provides very little feedback on the papers. He did not break down grammatical vs content errors in the grade. On one paper I had three errors (one for capitalization) and received an 85. No problem with the grade, but no constructive criticism

I enjoyed his online class a lot. The course is reading intensive, but it is a literature course, so that's to be expected. There were two papers in the class, and I received my grade on each paper within one to two weeks. I found the multiple choice reading quizzes to be easy. They were comprehension based.

Just finished with this course. It's very organized. Everything is in weekly folders and you can work ahead. The are weekly reading quizzes that are pretty easy, discussion boards, and two essays. Took about 2 wks to get graded essays back. He always answered my emails within 24 hours. I'd take his class again even though I hate English.

Amazing class! I've taken a bunch of online classes & this has been my favorite. Assignments are clear & he's happy to help if you have questions. He provides great notes on the reading assignments. Follow his writing guidelines & you'll do fine on the essays. Reading quizzes are easy. If you need a lit class, take him. You won't regret it.

This is the best elective I've ever taken. Mr. Wall made the stories we read come to life. He knew so much about the stories he made me want to read, and I don't like reading. He's very funny and cares about his students. I'll miss this class.

Took his online American lit course. It was a very good experience. He has a set weekly schedule and sticks to it with no surprises. I met with him a few times to discuss my papers, and he was always willing to help anyway he could. I highly recommend him.

Mr. Walls is an excellent instructor. History is definitely NOT one of my favorite subjects, but he made is very interesting and his knowlege on the subject superior! Give this man a raise!

This professor is not only a great instructor but also had a sense of humor. He wants you to do well in his class which shows by his grading strategy and policy. Some of the material was boring, but that is expected in a literature class. All in all I looked forward to attending class and ultimately enjoyed the time spent in this course.

This was the first English class in 20yrs. Do your work, read the assignments, & communicate with the instructor & you can't help but pass. I earned an A in this class, and only had to write 3 essays and 1 argumentative term paper.(yuck!)

Took him for English II, and again for AmLit. He's a great teacher, though grading may be slow at times. However, he is fair, and accessable, but you are responsible for doing your part.

Mr. Wall is great! It's the same work each week - discussion forums and a quiz. Only 2 SHORT papers, so that was great! He was very helpful. I got the book but honestly, with some Google searching you don't need the book. You can find all of the stories or information you need online. Minimal effort and I received an A!

I loved this class! Great short readings and Dr. Wall is a true teachernot just someone who grades papers. Take his class. I will take others with him if I need them. I was not interested in reading until I took this course.

Mr. Wall is one of the best teachers I have ever had. He is very clear cut when it comes to what you have to do and he is extremely understanding. I've submitted the wrong assignment on accident multiple times, and he just tells me to get it to him by the next class time. He is a great teacher!!

Mr. Wall is very informative. He knows his information in and out. He's very interested and enthusiastic about his classes. I've had him twice and he's great. If you show up and do the work and participate in the discussions you'll pass.

6-week online session was a breeze. 3-4 discussion posts and 1 multi-choice quiz over the stories due per week. Final is short-essay format. 1 paper due over topic of your choice. Did the final and essay the day they were due, got 100s on both. The stories were boring (Awakening, Huck Finn, bunch of lame short stories). Not fun, not hard.

Mr. Wall is a great and caring teacher. He will help you through the course. I would take his class again. The only way to fail this course is to give up.

I had Mr. Wall for AML2020 online and it was pretty easy. Most of the stuff he makes you read are short passages and the quizzes and discussion forums are pretty easy. He assigns two essays based on prior readings but he's clear on what he wants. DO NOT PLAGIARIZE! Anytime I had a question, he was pretty quick to answer. He can be a slow grader.

I took him for English comp 1 and I made sure I had him for English comp 2. It is impossible to get below a B in the class.

Mr. Wall is my fave literature teacher. He is so easy going and he chooses some of the weirdest! yet enjoyable pieces for us to read. Online class consisted of weekly readings, 2 discussion posts per week, 4 quizzes, 2 tests, and 2 essays over the 12 weeks. Easy workload, final is not cumulative. He is slow on grading but just go by the guidelines!

This was not a very hard class as long as you work every week. Discussion posts only have to be 100 words and he grades pretty easy on those. Papers are a minimum of 750 words but it is better to write a 1000. He does take 1-2 weeks to grade your papers but that is because he has 6 other classes. He is very helpful, and he answers emails quickly.

Wonderful instructor. Quizzes are easy if you read the material (or even just the spark notes!) and he makes the material fun and engaging with his wit and humor. Hate the writing assignments but I have to admit they're effective in understanding the material and he gives GREAT guidance if you're stuck. Also gives opportunity for extra cred.

The homework and reading is a reasonable amount. Assignments were a few discussion questions each week about the reading, the occasional quiz during the week, 2 papers, and an easy midterm and final. As long as you do the reading, understand it, and participate this class should be an easy A.

Mr. Wall is an awesome professor and cares about his students. I took this class in 6 weeks and passed with a B. I had 4 quizzes, 2 essays, 3-4 discussions a week, a research paper and a final essay. I have learned SO MUCH in this class. He is knowledgeable about all of the topics we discus. He is current, relate-able and inspiring. He is SO funny too. The class was fun, so it was effortless to always show up and do the work. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Professor Wall is so funny. We had to do and present one group project, and it was fairly easy. He's a very easy grader. He has pop quizzes, but if you go on eLearning, you will see the works he'll quiz you on in the grades tab. Would recommend!

Prof Wall is a great teacher. He cares about his students and is willing to help when you need it. Quick to answer emails. Show up, do the work and participate and you can't fail this class. The work is not difficult but you do need to pay attention in order to do it. Would def take him again.

Mr. Wall is a wonderful professor, he is hilarious. He gets all of the students involved in class discussions. This is a class that you have readings every week and will write reflections every few weeks but they aren't too hard, don't over think them. Just read the stories and you'll pass the class.

He was very easy to contact, and he gave very thorough feedback. Make sure you read the directions to his assignments thoroughly! Thats the only thing that messed me up, but his online class was not tough but a lot of assignments.

Mr. Wall is a good teacher but he does not respond to emails fast and he takes a very long time to grade stuff. It took him 7 weeks to grade my midterm! Besides that he is great. There was only two main essays due and two little essays in the midterm and final. The quizzes were a little hard but not to bad. Overall he is a good teacher.

Dr. Blaine was a good teacher. I didn't really hear much from him, but when I did email him, he was really fast at responding. There are about 3-4 discussions per week+a quiz(You have to read long books to write your discussions on) There was only one paper, but it was 2000 wd. And the final exam you had to answer 10 questions and write 2 essays.

Dr. Wall is a great professor with amazing lectures. Very funny person. Definitely will take again!

Honestly, I have taken several different English classes at PSC now and Professor Wall has been the best match for me in terms of what I need as a student. He is professional. Funny, which makes the lectures something to look forward to. Very helpful. He will work with you if you are willing to put in the work/are serious about the class. 10/10.

Dr. Wall is an AMAZING professor. He's super funny and makes you want to read and learn. He has great lectures and makes the readings easy to understand. I would 110% recommend taking him for any English or Literature class.

Just participate and read the short assignments before class. He really helps students pass as long as you're trying for yourself. I hate reading and writing but Dr. Wall made this class really fun.

Dr. Wall is the best! He is a big advocate for group work while in class which is good as it gets every student involved. As long as you read the homework and do the reflections (easy), you will do great! He is good about feedback and responds fairly quickly to emails. Highly recommend!

I'm finishing his course now and really enjoyed his class. His grading seemed fair and as long as you take his criticism and apply it to your next essay assignments, you should be good throughout his class. He also gives opportunities to write on a topic he provides or a topic you'd prefer, which is awesome because I hate writing myself into a box.

LOVED! If you are good at English and want to challenge yourself and truly learn, I highly recommend. I think he provides great feedback and as long as you are open to learning, you will do well. Not the type of class for people to skate by. Also, the materials he chooses are incredible, many written by women, people of color, and minorities!

Prof. Wall's class is great - the material is engaging, and he provides helpful feedback. While the writing assignments can be challenging, using Unstuck study alongside the free textbook really helps. As long as you're willing to learn, you'll do well.

I have taken Dr. Wall twice now and I have loved him both times. As long as you actually read the material, you should be fine. He is kind of a hard grader, but it comes from a place of wanting to better your writing skills. Definitely recommend!

He was a good teacher and always seemed kind when I messaged him. There were a lot of stories to read and the discussions were heavy, but manageable. Overall, he made the class good for someone who doesn't usually enjoy literature.

Overall, a good teacher! He explained the material really well and made things easy to understand. There was a lot of reading, and the papers were pretty lengthy, but manageable. Participation really matters; you can't skip things or fall behind. But if you stay on top of the work, this teacher is great!
