DeSesa was a very sweet guy. He helped me so much. There was a day that I had to leave early and I remember telling him I would stop by his office hours for the TAKE HOME TEST, and he waited for me even though he had an emergency to tend to. He's a real cool and nice teacher, and I didn't know anything and now I'm an expert lol

I took this class with another teacher and failed. He makes hard subjects easy. No homework. VERY helpful. If you're taking Math 110 take it with Dr. Desesa, you won't regret it.

Really goofy guy, comes off kinda weird at first, but he is a really good guy. He will help you if you need it, and is very understanding if you have any problems. If youre not great with math, take him. He gives out practice tests that are exactly like the real thing. If you try its atleast an easy B, and a doable A even for the average student.

He's cool.. Yes, all of pre-tests are exactly like the real tests. He's a little boring sounding, but he tries to throw in some humor. He's really nice and easy to get along with. Dont take him with trig, though. I had friends that took trig with him and he doesnt let you bring a notecard for the identities and functions.. so you gotta memorize it

ok teacher but he does not really show steps and expects you to know it. his practice test are same as real test just the numb are changed. drops lowest test and quiz grade. not hard but not easy.

Great teacher,exams are not too bad. Do the practice exams and make sure they are all right. you will sure get an A in the exam. if you dont get any of the question on the exam, you can ask him to give you so hint. do the homework too, he will give out extra credit for it.

This guy teaches unlike any teacher i ever had, he is so calm and goes through the material step by step, drops the lowest test grade, and 2 quiz grades, His practice test are exactly the same as the real tests only with different #'s, take him trust me on that one, he makes you understand everything and you will and you will enjoy it, He is great.

If you're not a math person, TAKE HIM. He's very detailed and goes slow as he describes steps of what he's doing. Drops the lowest quiz and test. Doesn't take attendance.

He is honestly a great teacher. I had him for Calc 1 and now I have him for Calc 2. He teaches well and is willing to explain everything and answer questions. Yes his tests can be hard but he gives several quizzes that are pretty easy when you study. Doing homework is key, he doesn't grade it but it helps with quizzes and tests.

One of the best math teachers! Out of all the math classes I've had to take he is by far the best professor. If you go to class and pay attention and do the practice exams you will get an A no problem. The practice exams are the exact same thing as the tests but longer with different numbers. Fantastic guy!

AWESOME PROFESSOR! This man knows how to TEACH. He explains material very clearly and is more than happy to help you when you need the extra help. Material is difficult but if you learn exactly how he teaches it, the exams follow the same format.

Had him for MATH 026, 140, 141. I suck at math and Im not the greatest student but with a little effort I was able to get decent grades (B-B+) in all his classes. He is a good teacher, explains well (step by step) I would and do highly recommend him to all my friends!

I took Math 110 with two other teachers and dropped it both times. I then took it with Blaise and got a B (couldve been an A). He is by far the best math teacher at the school, and teaches everything clearly. It would be a mistake NOT to take him. Just take the notes and study them and you are guaranteed to pass. Can't thank him enough!

i am terrible at math and have received Cs in all of my math courses except his. go to class and take notes and redo those problems for practice. he gives fair problems instead of really difficult ones. took him for calc 140 and 141 and am glad i did.

The best!you should take him like seriously he helps alot during the test and all like he would almost give you the answer always avalibe for you even if he have to eat he will leave his food and spend the time to make you understnad something. he is soo nice. he gives reviews before the exams i got A in his class <3 i really like him

Easy class. Entire grade is based on tests and quizzes, which isn't a problem because he basically tells you exactly what the problems will be like, just with different numbers. The only difficult part is his true and false questions. Show up for class and you'll learn pretty easy. Also, don't buy the textbook. The homework isn't really necessary.

Do the study guide examples over a few times and you will get an A. I took him for Calc I and Calc II and received an A in both. You don't need to do hw but you have to come to class because he has a lot of quizzes. Great professor! Highly recommend! He can be really funny too

No homework in his class, Doesn't need a textbook. There will be few quiz, 3 exam, and one final exam. His exam are very easy. He will give you Practice exam if you did ok in the practice exam you will be fine in your exam.

Doctor Desesa Is probably one of the easily understandable professors when it comes to math on campus. He explains what happens in a math problem very in-depth in laymen terms so no surprises. The practice exams he gives you should be enough for you to get a grade on his exams. I suggest him for any math course on this campus. Very helpful!

Go to class, take good notes (write down all his examples), and study the review packets for the class and it will be fine. He is a great professor and does a great job explaining all material. Only buy textbook if you want to do homework, but the hw is not mandatory. Quizzes almost every week or week and a half but he is very clear on material

No textbook needed, but you have go to ALL of his classes since nothing is available online. He gives out practice exams which are very similar to the actual ones. Examples he discussed in class are what's going to be on the exam. Go to class and take notes this will be an easy A.

One of the better math professor here at Abington, take him and you wont regret it.

He's an easy grader. He writes and explains really quickly so it can be a little hard to keep up. But if you can get to him during his office hours he can really help you understand better. If you do he can help you a lot for the tests and quizzes. Try a little and you'll pass

Let me educate you on this man. BLAISE DESESA. Everything about his classes are intuitive. From the lectures to the quizzes and the exams. He is very inspiring if you are interested in learning mathematics. Any question you ask he has an answer. His review days and practice exams are essential.

GOD TIER PROFESSOR! Just take him over any other professor.

I took him during the Fall 2020 semester so the class was only online. For an online class, it worked out pretty well. All homework was optional in the textbook and the lectures were easy to understand. The class was recorded so I could come back and watch it again if I needed to or missed it. Overall, a pretty good math class.

He is the best math professor I've ever had, hands down. This man is excellent at taking difficult content and making it understandable by going one step at a time with it. He always explained what he was doing and why, and if you have a question he is very detailed and explains it well. Highly, highly recommend!

Dr. DeSesa's lectures are easy to follow along with. He goes over examples step-by-step as a class and then on your own to test your new knowledge - promoting active learning. He highly encourages participation and is always willing to answer questions to help you understand. Amazing, kind professor that made calculus enjoyable for me!

Hybrid course which is kinda good just personally hard to pay attention when your online but that's all preference. Teaches math very well ngl. He goes over a new topic with a example and then makes you do a similar problem.
