Probably my all time favorite prof. Words can't explain the fantastic lectures. Totally reccomend him. Extremely intellengent, and goodlooking man.

Blake Dotta Rodney Mckay + Harvey Specter and you don't have to understand the reference to find his lectures funnyentertaining... just don't be late.

Dr. Dotta is one of the best teachers i've ever had. And his looks make it that much better.

Brings real world situations to lectures, encourages participation but in a chill way, good social skills, highly intelligent but not ostentatious or pretentious. Made physiological psych fun. Left every lecture excited about what I had learned. Material is tough. Class attendance isn't mandatory but is required if you want a decent mark.

Dr. Dotta was my favourite prof first year, his lectures are extremely interesting and I always enjoyed being there. The slides are pretty useless, pretty much there for the presentation so make sure you go the the classes or else you'll fail. I would love to take another class with him in the future if it fits in with my schedule. Best prof 100%

No textbook required, but attendance is absolutely essential to passing. Do NOT come in late. All auditory learning, very repetitive. He'll hold your attention for the first little while. All multiple choice tests ( A to up to O) -_- Tricky, but you have 4 chances to make your desired mark throughout the year. People think he's hot - not my type.

Great professor, one of my favourites from first year. His lectures were very interesting and he was very forward thinking. His tests could be hard but if you attended class, he mentions everything in class. He wants his students to learn and pass, would recommend him to anyone. Not to mention he is very good looking.

He uses real examples that help illustrate the point. His slides were basically a picture, they weren't really helpful unless you attended class. I would definitely take again.

Dr. Dotta makes my Psychology class very interesting but I don't much care for his teaching method (he says you don't need the book, but without the book, you would not get your necessary information). Either way, I would take a class with him again! He is very knowledgable, and doesn't just "read off slides". Plus, he's kinda cute.

He's an amazing professor. He is extremely knowledgable and loves teaching students about the brain. His tests are extremely difficult (since they are from A-O multiple choice) and he teaches advanced material on the brain. He will prepare you for upper year Neuroscience classes well.

He is CRAZY SMART! His lectures are so engaging, interesting&funny that you won't want to miss. He gives many chances for you to get EASY MARKS! But his exams are INSANELY hard (M/C A-O choices). But if you really know your stuff, you will do ok on exams. DO NOT BE LATE TO CLASS, he will be so rude to you&embarrass you in front of the class.

Amazing professor! You can tell he is really passionate about what he teaches and makes the class interactive and enjoyable. He posts all of his powerpoints online, however, they're mostly pictures and you can be tested on anything he says in class. There is no real structure to the class. Oh and never be late, that doesn't go over well.

His lectures are very engaging and interesting. His tests are hard because of the many multiple choice options and you don't really have solid material to study from. Attending class and staying attentive is mandatory. Personally, I learned a lot in the class. Tip: don't be late or be prepared for the worst!

Great prof. Amazing lecture. Interactive with students. Super funny. Record the lectures to spruce up your notes later. He talks fast. His multiple choice take serious critical thinking and problem solving skills. No joke. His quizzes are more like IQ testing. A high mark is attainable, but you have to work for it. Study hard.

He is absolutely incredible, super smart and has amazing lectures. He has lesson plans set out on D2L but you need to go to class to fill out information. But unlike most professors it isn't a drag to go to class, he is insightful and welcomes questions.

Comes off abit scary at first but overall amazing prof, his lectures are always so interesting and he's an easy grader. His power points don't do justice though, definitely go to class.

Dr. Dotta is a fantastic professor and makes psychology even more enjoyable, if that's even possible. Although he does talk a little faster than other profs, his energy, knowledge and humour definitely make up for it. He sincerely cares for his students and want you to pass. You can tell he cares about the class. Man, does he love Fortnite though.

By far best prof I've ever had. He's hilarious, his classes are so interesting and I learned so much from him. It's a hard class if you don't pay attention or study hard but totally worth it I came out of his class with so much knowledge. Just really a great down to earth guy.

Dotta was easily the most intriguing and exciting professor to have. His tests are hard, but he supplies the required knowledge for all of them, you just have to use it! He's super funny, will answer every question clearly and thoroughly too. DO NOT SHOW UP LATE, trust me, he doesn't tolerate lateness. In summary, take this class, it's worth it!

Very interesting lectures. Does not appreciate/like when people are late so show up 5-10 mins before. Assessments are easy but need to attend class in order to do well. He says to purchase textbook but he does verbally provide everything you need to know. Ask for test prep : need to know list. In depth notes are better than the powerpoints provided

Tremendously entertaining. Teaches at a quick pace. is sort of all over the place, so if organization is important to you, he's going to get on your nerves. He can be a a bit intimidating for a first year, but keep in mind he's putting on a bit of a show (don't be late). His tests are difficult, and worth alot of marks, so come prepared.

Amazing! Hes very knowledgeable and gives lots of anecdotes to help you understand how to apply the concepts. He moves incredibly fast so you need to attend class to keep up.

Insane tests, very heavy assignments and super picky about his grading, no online lectures, no content, If you plan on taking classes online, all I can say is good luck lol

The structure of the online class was weird, but that's not his fault. He did what he could given the circumstances. He's very accessible outside of class, actually answered emails, and was very accomodating when I needed an extension. He even held a zoom session to answer questions about assignments and exams.

The most intelligent individual Ive ever met. Top tier lectures. Fairly easy assignments... but his tests, sadly, are another story. Simply put, they are insane. Multiple choice with answers running from A-O at times... Make sure you attend class, Participate in lectures, and ask questions if needed. Dr. Dotta truly does care about us students.

Dr. Dotta is clearly passionate about what he teaches and it comes across in his lecture style and the way in which classes are constantly engaging. He is easy to reach if you have any kind of question and his tests can be challenging but they are fair. he really enjoys long multiple choice questions. 10/10 would recommend him to anyone in psych.

By far the greatest prof I have every had. He is incredibly understanding and has great passion for what he teaches. This class is intense but will prepare you in all the right ways, shapes and forms for the future. Do your readings, participate in class discussions, ask questions, and you should be fine. Show effort and you will be respected.

Most knowledgable person I've ever met about their area of expertise. Lectures are super important, highly recommend you sit near the front and record so that you can have a physical copy of the material for studying. Do not be late to class, he hates that and will call you out every time. All in all the best prof and class I've had so far.
