*BEST CLASS EVER* Many people may remember Big Blake from his days advising at MCC. I chose his class based on the excellent advising I received and what a great decision it was! I was nervous about taking a public speaking course but Big Blake made it seem easy and also enjoyable. I would highly recommend any of his classes! TAKE BIG BLAAAAAKE!!!

Professor Wolf made a public speaking class fun & relaxing, especially for those who get anxiety when speaking in front of a crowd. It was a light-hearted learning atmosphere. I highly recommend this class. It can be an easy A if you attend class, follow instructions, do your work and participate.

Take COM225 with Blake! He makes class fun, enjoyable, and easy-going. Public speaking can be scary for most people, but he makes you feel comfortable. Easy A if you show up and participate.

Blake was a good instructor, I learned while in his class. Has an easy going personality that makes the classroom environment more enjoyable. Mixes in a Joke or 2 during lectures making them not boring.

Super easy class! Only had 4 quizzes that we took in small groups. He is actually pretty funny and I would recommend him to anyone that needs to take a communications class.

Hated the idea of public speaking but Blake made the class environment comfortable and laid back. Only 4 speeches and he is a very fair grader. If you have to take a COM class take COM225 with Blake. You won't regret it!

Blake is the bomb. This class was so easy because Blake made talking in front of others not so bad. He did this by helping you feel comfortable with others in class. Definitely take him if you are freaked out by public speaking! He´ll calm your fear and help your confidence!

Blake is the best teacher at MCC. He will make you forget that you are nervous to speak in front of a group. I would rearrange your schedule to take his class...yeah he's that amazing. TAKE THIS CLASS!! This is one class that was super fun, went by fast and I actually learned and homework was almost like nothing. Only had 4 speeches and 4 quizzes and they were group quizzes. Blake makes the class so much fun, and makes you feel comfortable when giving your speeches. Just do your work and attend class! YOU WONT REGRET IT,I PROMISE

Blake is witty and keeps class interesting. He has a genuine interest in his students and makes class activities and assignments fun. This class was a breeze and I plan on taking COM225 with him as well. Take any class you can with Blake! He's also very helpful if you have questions about classes and universities, as he's an advisor for MCC too.

I have trouble with public speaking but once I came into this class with Blake, I feel like I got over my fears. He's a down to earth dude who just wants you to succeed and become a better public speaker. Would definitely take his class again just for fun.

This class was so fun! It felt like an open forum for discussions during his lectures, this kept me engaged with the class and the material every day. I would definitely take a class taught by Blake again. The only thing I wasn't a huge fan of were the group projects, so make sure you have a good group with no slackers!

This guy is straight mobbin! I can't believe smart people exist like Blake wolf. His bride may have left him at the alter but he still inspires and motivates the students. #beardgoals. If it came down to Hilary, trump and Blake wolf, he would win by a lanslide! And don't even get me started about that bicep tho.

One of the Best Teachers I ever took , really funny and makes the atmosphere of the class fun. He really try to help the class and gives great study guides. I took this class for honors and he was simply awesome! And his name ends in wolf thats so badass!

He is very down to earth and approachable. We had two presentations, an individual and a group. He tries to involve a fun setting for all and really shows he cares for your success.

Wolf is very chill and super lively. Made class as fun as he could and tries to make every topic entertaining. We did jeopardy before every exam so just remember to take notes during the game bc they show up again on the tests. Class was an easy A. One final group project at the end. He is always interested in what students have to say, great guy.

Professor Wolf made this class amazingly fun. There is not much homework in his class. You'll have to do some sort of presentation 2-3 times in his class, but he makes it very easy. Would definitely take him again.

Wolf a really cool professor. He is young too so he is very understanding of todays generation, which is nice. Very little to no homework and 2-3 group presentations throughout the semester. Take good notes on the "study day" prior to exams and you should be good! Attendance is important too.

Blake is a great teacher. He is fun, funny, and overall good quality teaching. Write mostly papers, but easy topics of your choice. I would definitely recommend this teacher for any class he teaches.

Professor Blake is super fun and understanding. He gives great feedback. Attendance is mandatory or your grade will drop by 10% each time you are not there. But he is super fun! We did jeopardy to ready ourselves for the quizzes which was a creative way to get us involved with each other.

Mr wolf was a real gem.

He was amazing!!! Had him for com 100 in person and he is the funniest guy ever! Super laid back and chill it's like he's your best friend! However, you gotta take your own notes though because when the test come you won't know anything. However, it's super easy to just google the answers. He is a bomb teacher and just be real and befriend him.

Blake is an awesome teacher! He's super funny. We only had to do two presentations. One informative speech and another one in a small group. He doesn't assign too much homework. And the only time you need the book is when you do chapter quizzes. It was definitely my favorite class this semester and I highly recommend his class!

i would highly recommend taking one of blake's classes. his lectures are interesting and he learns every students name also immediately. he tells you exactly what he expects with assignments and quizzes. it was a very interesting class and i would recommend to anyone needing to take a com class.

Really nice teacher and the class is a lot of fun. Sometimes he seems confused by somethings he is teaching, but class is easy to follow along. He makes sure there's an upbeat and positive atmosphere everyday.

This was my very first online class and Professor Wolf is very understanding and caring. My computer was taking forever to upload the assignment and it was late but he did not take off points. I would HIGHLY recommend! It's an easy A if you do the work and turn it in before the deadline.

This class was INCREDIBLE. It was only a five-week summer class but I wish it was longer. Blake was an amazing professor- one of the best I've had. He learns everyone's names so fast, and just wants everyone to succeed. He's really easy going and he's great to take from if you're scared of public speaking. TAKE YOUR COM CREDIT FROM HIM!

Blake is a great professor, not only does he explain the course great, but he also really helpful with the Honors program in general. I always had a fun time in class, he always found a way to connect with the students! I would definitely take another one of his classes again!

Professor Wolf was very thorough with assignments and clear with instructions on completing them. He gave very helpful and inspirational feedback. I myself also had a family issue and bronchitis that put me behind on 2 different assignments, however, Professor Wolf was very understanding and graciously gave me an extension. Great Professor!

Prof. Wolf is way cool! I went into public speaking nervous of what we would have to memorize, but he allows note cards. He is amazing at preparing you for your speeches and gives wonderful feedback. He is a funny guy and gives interesting lectures. The quizzes for his class are easy and he is a nice grader. TAKE HIS CLASS.

Wasn't sure how well Communication could be taught online, but Professor Wolf did a good job. If you do the reading, it's not that hard to do well. There was a quiz for every two chapters we read; they weren't hard, just have the book open next to you. A few bigger assignments disguised as discussion posts, so check before doing last minute.

I took Professor Wolf's class online so unfortunately I did not have much interaction with him, but he always answered emails in a timely manner and was very specific in his comments when grading. He seemed very kind and humble, truly wants his students to succeed!

I enjoyed the conversations we had as a class which also made it easier to present. Overall one of my favorite classes and professors. Take his class you will not be disappointed!

This was one of the best classes I have taken at MCC. Be prepared for lots of jokes, off-topic discussions from Professor Wolf that ultimately lead to a safe and fun environment to deliver speeches. I wish the school offered more Public Speaking classes like this one.

Professor Blake was the coolest and most chill professor! This was my first time taking speech class and usually, my anxiety is through the roof but, he had a way of making his students feel comfortable. He provides great feedback after speeches. I never once felt judged if I made a mistake. This class was super fun and rewarding!

Professor Wolf was an incredible instructor! Very kind, understanding and respectful. If you are considering taking the winter intercession class with him - do it! It was easy and quite interesting. He did not unnecessarily overload us with homework assignments, however, there was a bit of reading. Overall, great class and a great instructor!

Prof. Wolf was great. I took COM100 as a winter intersession class (3 week class) and I was nervous about it at first. However, his class is easy to follow and he had clear expectations. Great class 10/10!

Take this teacher, you won't regret it. He's extremely understanding and someone you can hold a conversation within class. He doesn't talk too much to the point where he sides away from the lecture, but he is social. He might say he's Tom Holand a few times but it's accurate.

He is really down to earth and makes sure that the students understand the course material. His lectures were always engaging and helpful. He quickly responded to my emails and was available after class. His casual teaching style really helped me become more confident in public speaking.

Public speaking was required, I am truly happy that Professor Wolf was my instructor. There is a lot of reading and he is very specific on the information wanted. This is not an easy grade, you do have make an effort. Professor Wolf puts you at ease during live presentations. He gives great feedback. I would take another class with Professor Wolf

This teacher is awesome. This is the second time I've taken a class of his and passed with flying colors. As long as you do the assignments and participare you will get the grade you want. He is very caring and understanding and gives great feedback! I would definitely take him again.

I took COM 100 online and I couldn't say enough good things about this class. Each week we had a couple of chapters to read, a test and an assignment usually. I would say the class was very easy as I passed with an A online. He was very good with communication in a timely manner outside of class as well. I would take again!

His style is less lecture and assignments and more of a class-teacher discussion on communication topics. Mr. Wolf is friendly and makes class engaging and fun.

I love this class and would take it again in a heartbeat. The lectures were hardly lectures, and more like conversations. You can really understand the material in this class just by showing up and engaging in the conversation--even if you're not talking. There is one speech you do and it isn't bad, you can talk about whatever & it's like 5 min. :)

Blake acts like a college student himself. He is very charismatic and loves to relate as much as he can to Breaking Bad. Be prepared for dad jokes. He knows how to make the class laugh and has a great relationship with his students. He's such a dad. Only down side is he'll never give full points for speeches, there is always something wrong. Sad

He sings all the time. Random 80s songs too. It's so sad he has to go and hurt such amazing songs with his voice. Although his singing voice is a bit rough on the edges, he was a great instructor and I would take his class again. ALSO beware to discuss sports every. SINGLE. CLASS. The man has an addiction to football and loves to talk about it.

I love this course and would take it again. Not difficult, participation in class isn't mandatory, but definitely helps to understand the material. There is a speech you have to give, but it's 5 minutes long about any topic. Lectures in class feel more like conversations & material is all relatable or relevant.

I am finishing up one of his online winter intersession classes for Gen Ed credits and he is fantastic. I highly recommend taking him for your comm / public speaking credit. Assignments were very clear, and actually really good. The required essays are not long and are interesting. There is a final speech as well. Super glad I took him!!

One of the best professors ive ever had great teaching skills and makes class fun although i took an early morning and was tired everyday he made class and actually enjoyable hes super funny ignore bad reviews on him.

Prof. Wolf was such a great teacher! He provided timely feedback and his lectures for each module were very informative and helpful. There are quizzes each week that test on the reading assignments given. There are also projects in conjunction with the quizzes to do weekly. As long as you read and stay on top of things you will do great!

There is a reading every week, followed by a quiz. The quizzes are easy, they use real-world situations. The final you have to do an informative speech that is 5-7 minutes long, and you can choose your own topic. He does post the modules weekly so it is hard to get ahead but the assignments aren't that difficult, you can probably finish in a day.

Super fun class. Ignore all the bad reviews. He responds really quickly on canvas. He does grade a little tough on some of the speeches but he'll always give you a good grade if you improve a little on what you were doing wrong. I even learned stuff in this close outside of public speaking from him and other classmates. Really loved his class.

I thoroughly enjoyed the environment of this class. Very informal. Prof. Wolf is very humorous and aims to make the content relatable. There aren't many assignments outside of class, so stay on top of the ones that are there. He truly cares about all his students, & it shows. He makes himself available when needed. Loved this course, learned lots.

(Note: The required textbook was a free online resource.) I appreciated Blake Wolf as my teacher during my second semester. He provides many resources, offers good lessons, and gives excellent feedback (listen to it). Always follow his rubric, and you will be fine!

Mr. Woolf is an amazing teacher! I could not recommend him more! He teaches everything you need to know while also providing a positive, comfortable, and uplifting environment for his students. He makes each student feel important and cared for and he strives to get to know each of the students in his class.

He is such a lively teacher and gives us great assignments. He also loves to make fun of students, but nothing beyond what we can take. We are responsible for reading the textbook on our own time, but it's not too bad. Not a lot of lecture during class. Speeches are really fun and he gives great feedback.
