Fun classes, lots of games and interaction. His tests are long hand, which means your arm fall off while taking them. Yet, if you study the terms he covers, and remember the relevance of the class activities you can do well.

Must take. Like going to recess in elementary. Many activities and games -very fun! Tests are difficult and a pain to study for, KNOW YOUR MATERIAL! There's a 10 pg resarch paper AND group presentations due at the end of the course. Great, fun family man.

Professor Robbins has to be one of the most creative and interesting professors at SDSU. His class was easy, fun and educational, I had a blast in this class. Make sure you attend lectures b/c he takes attendance.

Blue is an awesome teacher who facilitates class discussion without allowing a few students monopolize class time. The group projects were a a blast - anything goes!!! Pay attention to the big picture meanings of his exercises.

Anything and I mean anything in class will be on the test. It is nice because you don't have to study anything that wasn't in class. A pain in the ass because even the smallest thing could be on there. You have to do a 10 page paper with no opinions.Hard

he's probably one of the easiest prof. in SDSU. tests are piece of cake, just study his notes, don't even need to read the book. The paper on the other hand, was really hard. He grade harshly on that one.

I wish all the professors are like him. He made the class fun and interesting. Exams were 10 essay questions, very easy as long as you come to class and take great notes on everything. 10 page paper was a breeze!

This is the laziest professor I have ever had. He would to may 15 minutes of lecture for a 2 hour session, and then fill up the rest of the time with stupid grade school exercises. Come on, doing a CROSSWORD puzzle in class, I am a graduate student.

If you're looking for an easy class this is it. The only bad things are that he takes attendance every day and you won't learn a whole lot. Very enthusiastic teacher and his classes are no brainers. Lots of group work.

Blue is a genuine. He creates a fun class environment, sometimes at the expense of learning. He is extremely fair and generous with grades. He is more concerned with the process than the result. His tests are STRICLY on things that are covered in class.

Blue presents a unique teaching environment, focused on creativity. Teaching is creative, tests are creative, tests only info from class. Attendance is taken everyday and the rest of the grade is two tests and an easy group project. Go to class and do a good group project you will get a B maybe C.

I've taken Blue for 2 classes now. Uses strange activities to explain examples. Do not read the book, it's not necessary. Take very good lecture notes and memorize them for an A. The prizes are silly, but motivating... everything from pizza to movie tickets to antenna balls.

Blue Robbins is strange. He makes the students do pointless, irrelevant in-class activities like doing jumping jacks and scratching your butt at the same time, for a dumb prize. Everything is straightforward though, so it won't be hard to pass or get a B.

i think you should get the book, you need it. write down EVERY example of EVERYTHING he does in class, including the stuff from the book. tests are hard, but if you stress yourself out and study every last little thing you should pass OK. group projects are silly, but can be fun if you try.

Blue created a really relaxed atmosphere in the classroom, really cares about his students and the topic that he teaches. Tests are all based on class material, take good notes and don't miss class. Group project was easy and actually pretty fun. He is a great guy and will work with you.

I am a senior now and Blue was the best professor I have ever had. He makes things more exciting than other professors and he enjoys himself too. Take him! But you do have to show up for class... always. The things on the exams are usually what he covers in class.

This class is the biggest joke! Sure Blue does some fun acivities (if your like 4 yrs old). Dont take this class. Very hard tests. Over 10 chapters each and you have to memorize about 100 definitions. Take the class and get a C or less.

He's a very nice proffesor. Every activity is related to the topics in the lecture. You do have to study and take good notes, even about the activities.ex: 1 midt=100 final (not cum)=130 group presentation=100 research paper=100 attend=50 and many other points that will add up.

I got a B. Would have been an A if I went to class (attendence req.), studied lectures for the midterm and final (only two tests), and started on my 10-pg paper sooner (a literary review). Grades on attendence, two tests, a paper, and a group project (which everyone gets an A in unless you really DO suck). Does little games that can be fun.

Class is full of games and is more interesting than most. You have to go to class and you do not get a free absence day which sucks. The paper is long but use Courier and that makes it easier. Presentation is an A unless you make it up 5 minutes before class and it shows. Overall good prof. Easy class.

this class sucks ass. Doesnt give much feedback and didnt learn a damn thing. 60% of your grade is still out there at end of semester. I passed but have no clue how i did on my paper/final since he doesnt use BB. you go to class the first few weeks and the class seems easy but midterms/final kick your @$$.

Here's the deal with this guy: He's found a groove that makes teaching as easy as possible for him that gives students the illusion that learning management is easy. He has an unreasonable attendance policy (ONE absence basically means a 3% automatic deduction in your final grade). He likes to do pointless exercises. I don't like him.

Robbins makes his class do the most RIDICULOUS class exercises that make you look like a fool. The activities are pointless even though he tries to make a lame connection (to management). He passes out dumb prizes for doing these absurd activities. Tests are easy, I got in A in the class. But if you want to learn, DO NOT take this prof.

Take good notes for these classes & activities. Tests are in essay form 10 points each question expect final is challenging but attainable worth 150 points. Some questions are worth 20 points need to study. Team presentations are fun if your team is creative and funny. Never keeps you in class the whole time.

I was happy with all me classes (only A's), besides Mr. Robbins Organ. Behavior.-Class. His motivation is very high, but you'll do the whole time stupid things and learn absolutely nothing! Ask someone to fill your name on his attendance-list, never go to his class, and cheat at the final exam with a summary of all definitions and models!

Avoid this professor. This class is identical structure wise to 350. If u did well in 350 take 451. I got an A in both of them. No need for the book, just take good lecture notes and memorize them. If u can memorize every peice of info on the lecture notes, u will get an A on the exams. group project is fun, and paper is long and boring. Study hard and you will get an A

I normally get A's but I got a C in this class. 1 midterm, 1 final (they are both hard because he tests you on about 10 chapters each), 1 easy group presentation (big group) and 1 long 12 page research paper. He makes you do dumb exercises and lectures straight from a powerpoint presentation. Too many concepts to remember on tests.

I can't believe I got a C-!!! There are 2 exams that cover about 10 chapters each. You must go over class notes and memorize lists and definitions to score high on exams. On the final there were only 2 questions from the last 8 chapters. His class is pretty awesome. Never boring. There is a group presentation which is also awesome.

I will graduate with honors in the Spring, and this professor gave me a C+. I dedicated a lot of time in this class only to be disappointed. The worst part is that Red Robbins will not give you an ounce of help or advice during class or office hours. Class was entertaining but is that worth being disappointed when you check Web Portal at the end?

Class is fun, There are 3 tests which are solely based on Lecture (so going to every class is important).On the test he also includes questions about the wacky "learning" activities completed in class, so write them down and know what the point of them were.Tests are usually 7 open-ended questions.Then a 12pg Research Paper. Listen people this is an easy A class if I ever heard of one. I almost got 100% in the class. Presentation: don't worry about it he gives all As. Really. Test: study notes until you know all the key points. No MC. Paper: Used the required 15 source and pick a easy topic. It can be anything mention in the book. Attendence: Come to every class.

Very easy class... he only tests on what he covers in his lectures, so take notes and never miss class. He gives out prices for participating in class. Good Teacher. Exams - Midterm (125 points) & final (175 pts.),grp presentation & a term paper. Exams - 15 short-answer questions in blue book. Not easy class unless you study hard and consistently on his lecture notes (ppt slides). Do answer all questions -- he gives partial credit. Pay attention & take notes on class activites of related topics.

You must memorize the text for the tests. No kidding, take notes on what he talks about in class and make sure you can remember all the little charts and graphs and be able to recall them specifically for the test. "List the five things in order that go with this:" Questions like that. Good luck.

he makes you memorize all the material he covers in the class for the exams. 1 final, 1 midterm. he takes about 1 week off in the middle of semester and makes students work on group project! he also put questions on the tests about the activities he does in the class, so take very good notes. no need to buy the book, although he says you have to!

If you like to skip class this class is not for you. For tests you have to memorize everything he talks about in class, plus all the activities and how they relate to the class. Its a pretty easy class, I didn't learn that much.. just make sure you attend class, and study everything!

There is only 50pts between a B and a D, be careful. His tests are all blue book and all memorization-study. He will not let you see the slides if you miss class and is a bit spacy. He is not easy although, you don't even need to bother with the book.

This guy is terrible!!! I went to his office to dicuss my paper grade and found out that he didn't even read my paper!!! I brought up something I wrote about and he had no idea what I was talking about. He grades based on length of the paper so write the max number of pages and fill it with bullsh*t and you will get an A.

Well...it was a very easy class. Attendance is mandatory, but you only need to learn the material in the textbook that corresponds to your project. He does seem to grade the final papers based somewhat on length, so I'd recommend turning in a paper that is close to the maximum allowable length. It's a very easy class to do well in.

Funny guy. You do class activities everyday that have nothing to do with what you're learning, but they're fun. One midterm, group presentation, class participation, and the final. The tests are all bluebook which kinda sucks, but if you make sure to study well you can probably get an A in the class. Presentation is easy, fun, and only 10 min long!

He is a great teacher, and he makes every class fun. The only thing I did not like about the class was the grading. On his exams, each question is worth the same amount of points. If you miss one question, your grade can go down 1 letter grade. He only grades on 3 things (midterm, project, final). Doing bad on 1 thing hurts your grade immensely.

The "fun" consists of a lot of stupid "exercises." Not difficult, but you learn nothing. Group activity is a pain because groups are too big. Basically a useless class, but he doesn't make it horribly painful. You will survive, but don't expect to enjoy it or learn anything. Watch out...he tests on the stupid activities rather than the study guide!

Lectures are boring unless he has a game going on. There's a midterm, a final, and a group project. Group presentations are a lot of fun and he grades easily. Very disappointing class. He uses the OVERHEADS provided by the book and their 50 word definitions and you just copy them all semester. Midterm and final are on about 10 chapters each and you gotta study everything word-for-word. If you're good at memorization, this is the class for you. If you want a teacher who uses some effort, look elsewhere.

Don't buy the book just steady every overhead slide he puts up and review all the powerpoints. The tests are really straight forward and pretty easy. Took his summer MGT 350 class and it was pretty fun, relaxing, and relatively easy. He gives away fun prizes, and plays cool games with students during every class. The skits are fun too but he grades unfairly on those. Our group worked so much harder than the other groups but got short-changed by him in the end. Still, a good guy.Recommended.

Blue is a great teacher! Powerpoint slides are main material. Group project is a main part of your grade! (Hopefully you'll get a better/more cooperative group than I did!) Phenomal Professor who you can tell is passionate about his material. He hands out ludacris "prizes" out to reward class participation. Exams questions are mostly from the lecture with the book expanding further. The only dice roll in the class is your group project--hope you get a good group. MGT 357 with Professor Blue was the best summer class I could have taken. Blue makes the class fun with limited stress. Three tests and a group project. Blue's class was definitely not one of the easier classes. You have to study! He has 2 huge midterm exams (6 chapters each), both of which were difficult. Attendance is mandatory which sucks. You lose 20 points for each class session you miss. Group project was long and draining, however I had a group filled with amazing people so I enjoyed it.

His exams are worded weird. Hard to get a good grade. I'm a honor student this guy is terrible. No help!!! Better hope you get a good group because this guy is no help with problems. Do not recommend. Prizes are junk!

I did my best and got a B in the class. He takes attendance every class which is really annoying. His tests weren't that bad comparing to other professors. The group project to me was a breeze (literally got the best 5 students in class). It's easy to get a B with minimal effort. Also his lectures are really short. Overall I like his style.

This guy gives cheap prizes; this is the only reason is rates good. He does NOT help when needed. If you get a bad group do NOT expect ANY help from him. Just deal with it. His exams are worded very difficult. His average grade is a B. I'm an honor student and I got below a B. This was the worse instructor I've ever had. He doesn't care.

He's and awesome professor. He's kind of corny sometimes, but he breaks things down from the book so that you can better understand things. Overall the class is not hard, but it makes it even better when he gives real life examples and is enthusiastic about each subject. He encourages participation even if you're wrong. Go to class for attd. pts

Took for summer. Professor Blue finds a way to make lectures interesting and goes out of his way to give small prizes for participation. All you have to do to pass is be a responsible adult and do the readings. Tests are somewhat challenging, but not impossible. Presentation was a breeze.

Only tests are mid term and final, but are a large portion of your grade. He gives participation points for attendance, show show up for free points! Group project is fun and he allows plenty of opportunity to prepare for it. Group project is an easy A if you put the effort in. Give yourself plenty of time to study for tests, cram will not work.

Professor Blue is an awesome professor and really cares about his students. I would totally take him again. Tests are hard, but if you read the book, go through his powerpoints and take the online quizzes you'll do fine.

He is a good teacher. He conducts the class as an actual work place so if you get stuck with a group that is not working well for you he will hear your input, but he will not moderate anything unless the entire group agrees there is an issue so just hope that you get in a decent group. Do not wait until the last minute to study for his exams.

Prf. Blue is awesome. Took him for BA 405 over summer. This kind of class needs to be taken over summer so it is not dragged out. Blue is quick and to the point in his lectures. 2 midterms, 1 essay final, 1 group project. cant go wrong. projects were pretty easy have to read for mid term, essay exam not bad. Take Blue he cares and it shows!

Gradeparticipation (you don't have to talk but you do need to show up to class), 1 group project, 1 midterm, 1 non-cumulative final. I didn't have the book b/c expensive, but I studied someone else's quizlets and went over his powerpoints and did well on the exams, which had very straightforward questions. Grades easy on the project if you try.

He's weird and doesn't teach anything. His class consists of doing a group project which he gives everyone a high A on, boring powerpoint lectures, and then an incredibly dense text book that is required for his very difficult exams. Text book is 800 pages and you pretty much have to read through it to get an A on his exams. 4.00 student until now.

Your grade is made up of a midterm, a final, attendance (easy 50/50), and a group project. We got 98/100 but it's hard to mess it up, most groups got A's. Overall he's a really nice person and professor and I would love to have him as a boss.

His class is 1 midterm, 1 final, attendance and a group project. He is a easy grader on the group project if you put in effort, my group got 100/100. I read the text book for the first chapter then started reading and studying just the powerpoints ended up with a B+. His lectures are informative but it wouldn't hurt to review on your own.

Final grade consisted of the team presentation and the exams (2: mid and final). Overall, not too bad if you actually read the chapters each week as his lectures can go by quickly. Knowledgeable and even uses fun games and class participation to lock in some key concepts. Team presentation was fun and the grading for it was simple enough!

This professor was unfortunately the worst professor I had taken at SDSU, He reads directly from his power points which are a bulleted summary of the text, so therefore you learn nothing unless you read the book. He was very dry and boring and seemed like he didn't have any direct experience with leadership. Take any other professor if you can.

Two midterms and a capstone final, plus a huge group project (that honestly was an easy A). He's super funny and has a really fun teaching style. Gives prizes, movie tickets. You have to read the textbook in order to do well on the exams because he goes really fast on the powerpoints. Take him over summer!

I love Blue!! You get a ton of perks in his class like movie screening tickets and merchandise! It's basically a midterm, final, final project and participation. Make sure to get a good group for the project. His tests are super to-the-point and there's no BS ever. If you study you'll be fine. I learned a lot from him.

Blue was an all round consistent, good teacher. Blue lectures a lot, and directly from the book. He taught everything thoroughly, was approachable and responsive, and gave ample opportunity to do well. He has one very big group project that took my group and I WAY MORE time than we planned. It was a fun experience, but definitely a lot of work.

Blue is certainly a generous and caring professor. In my opinion, my teams video and presentation was horrible but he still gave us an A. He uses a test bank for his exams and the final essay wasn't too bad and its nice that he grades those too. Just know the cases really well. I thought I would get a 70 or so on the essay but I got an 96 instead.

Blue is the only professor I'd like to leave a comment here. He is definitely the best professor I've ever met in SDSU. He is knowledgeable and interesting. He gives away lots of free prizes for participating. The group project is easy and you're unlikely to get a low grade on it. The test questions are all from the book. Read and memorize.

Blue's lectures can get boring but that makes it the perfect class to get work for other classes done. The test banks are out there so if you have them don't bother buying the book. He grades the group project very easily, but still put some effort in it or he'll notice. You don't pick your group but make sure your group finishes early.

Make sure you get in a good group because you will have to film a video and write a paper on that. You will have two exams that come from the book. The final exam is called Capstone where you need to study the cases and write about them. The reviews about him giving away prizes and tickets are still true. Overall, a chill class.

Professor Robbins is an very difficult professor and he isnt nice either. I encourage you to take another BA350 who will give 3-4 exams and pass you. He has one difficult group project that is due towards middle of semester that isnt helpful and 2 exams that wont help you either. Please stay away from this class

I wouldn't take this professor and take someone else immediately!! Please listen to me and hes not helpful, always gives away prizes that doesnt even connect to the subject and lecture!! He has a problem with some students like me Iwant you to take somebody who cares about exam scores, and also your effort too. He has 2 exams, hurts your grade.

There is 1 group project where the group is assigned. Easy group project. Must go to class as there is participation check every class. Super easy though. Only a midterm and a final and that plus the project and participation makes up your grade. The exams were a bit tricky but if you really put some time in you can easily pass not hard at all

Theres are other better professors and I want this professor out!! And when is he retiring!! and Ill be happy, and for some students like me could be glad too. Please listen to me, for some students who are struggling on tests like me, dont take him. Hes mean, rude, and not a professor who teaches. He doesnt have a heart, and fails students.

Robbins is a good professor, but makes class more difficult than necessary. Graded on daily attendance, 1 midterm, 1 group project, & a final. Midterm is around the 4th/5th week of class, requiring you to read approx half the textbook by then. Group project is very easy. Class is fun but wish the material was spread out over 3-4 tests instead.

this professors doesn't have a clear grading scale. He has two tests that are difficult and doesn't help with my grade and some students like me. He needs 4 exams or more to pass to the class. He's a nice guy, but the group project isn't helpful and doesn't help some students. He shouldn't assign the group project, and assign assignments instead.

His name when enrolling is Steve Robbins. Blue Robbins is what he goes by in class. I highly recommend taking him during the summer and online if you can. His exams are straight forward. You have one research paper on whatever country you pick that is supper easy and gives you so much time.

This professor isnt helpful, only has tests that arent helpful and difficult too. He needs to offer extra credit and also more assignments too throughout the semester. He needs to have HW for students to complete to get and achieve more points. He isnt nice either and very rude to me. Ill take someone who teaches the subject better next time.

The class is very boring. Prof Robbins only reads off of the PowerPoint slides and didn't use many real world examples. Participation isn't required and isn't necessary if you want to do well in the class. Just make sure to read the textbook for the exam. Sweet professor but dry class

IF YOU WANT TO GET D- OR F TAKE HIM, his the worst professor I ever have. 3 EXAMS and the final, there is a research paper also. No hw, which is too bad, because you will not get a chance to get a high grade. No extra credit, whatever you will get in the exams will be your final grade. I don't prefer you to take him.

Graduating with honors and the lowest grade I got during my entire time at SDSU was from Prof. Robbins. Literally have no idea how I got a low grade, the 2 students I tutored in the class even got A's! But I barely passed. No feedback, ambiguous grading at its best. Nice guy, but you're rolling a dice taking him.

The material wast't bad at all and the exams were really doable, 4 exams and a paper. Only bad thing is that the final was worth 200 points and we had to do it in 45min, most of the class's grades went down by 7% because of it.

He's super chill. Not a heavy workload at all. Exams are difficult, but not on Respondus. There is one case study paper at the end of the semester, but he gives you plenty of opportunity to work on it.

Only the first two weeks of attendance is mandatory and the rest you can learn on your own through the lectures. Theres 4 exams and a report at the end. The exams are pretty easy if you read the textbook and theres a pretty big curve if it doesnt meet the average. Overall great class and he really cares about students passing.

I loved 405 with Professor Robbins! He is super nice and accessible outside of class. Definitely read the textbook for the exams--there are 4. The hardest part was the case analysis research paper, but he gives you the whole semester and class time to work on it. If you start early, you will get an A. Attendance isn't mandatory.

He's so sweet and chill. It's on Zoom and some people are disrespectful but he handles it well and he is so kind. The only graded parts are the exams and the final paper. I look forward to his lectures and he makes the class as straightforward as he can. You can tell he just wants his students to succeed.

I took Professor Robbins BA405 class over summer and it was pretty manageable. Online lectures not mandatory to attend. They will be posted online. 3 midterms, 1 final exam, and a 13-14 page case analysis research paper that is not as complicated as it sounds. Very lenient grader. I finished my report in under 5 hours and received a 97%.

Such a nice man! I took this as a summer course and enjoyed the hosted lectures on zoom, which were optional after the first two sessions. I appreciated the flexibility of the summer course and the encouragement he consistently gave in the class. Would highly recommend taking him!

He has engaging online lectures. Your grade is based on 3 exams and 1 12 page (7 pages of text) research paper that you have the entire semester to work on. The exams are based entirely on the book, so read it. Overall a very nice guy.

Professor Blue is awesome. He knows what he's talking about and helps make it clear. The course grade consisted of 3 exams and a final research paper. McGraw-Hill homeworks are recommended but not required and don't affect your grade. He's great at responding too if you need to contact him. Overall I'd take him again.
