I am very enthused taking Professor Daniel's class. It has been a rich learning experience. She goes in depth and really explains everything. She is warm and caring and makes class fun. She is great for a summer class.

I have never had a teacher, at any level of education, so in love with teaching as Professor Daniel. And what a difference that love makes! It translates into her being the best she can be, the most professional she can be, and the most thorough a teacher can be.

One of the best professors in LACC. She's very outgoing and super helpful. Very knowledgeable in her subject. She makes the classroom so warm with her real life stories and it is very easy to speak up when you know there will be no judgement from anyone. Super clear grading criteria. 4 exams and 2 papers, all doable. DO NOT SKIP CLASS!!!

Professor Daniel is a great teacher and she is fun and adorable. This is the icing on the cake. The cake is that she covers everything that is going to possibly be on the test and gives you exact instructions on how to write your paper. Easy A or B. That's your choice.

It is clear that Ms Daniel cares about her students and the world as she invests a lot in teaching us, the future counselors, how to be the change we want to see in the world. She has given me invaluable feedback and this class has helped me to understand the role people in the helping profession play, as well as their ethics and responsibilities.

Professor Blythe is amazing. Grading criteria is clear. Research paper is interesting to do since topics are given to you randomly. Lectures are important and tests are based on it. I never read the book and it's up to you if you want to purchase it. You may disagree with her but open to know new information. Would totally take her class again!

I loved Blythe! Not only is she hilarious, but she makes psychology very interesting. She wants everyone to succeed not only in school but throughout their whole life. For the college student, it doesn't get any better than this. Professor Daniel is a real teacher with a real gift. It can really make a difference to have a teacher like this once. Pay attention, study, do the work, and all that, but, this time, really pay attention and learn.

Professor Daniels's psychology class was like actual psychological therapy as well as educational. I have literally integrated what i've learned in her class and apply it to my daily life. In spite of the fact that she teaches psychology and addiction, Blythe is very addictive. You can't take her just once.

Very knowledgable & one of the kindest professors at LACC. However, don't miss more than 2 classes or she'll drop you. I took General, Lifespan, Abnormal, Issues in Human Services, & Fieldwork with her & they were all easy A's. You could pass w/o the books but I recommend. She's lenient with work quality but not with deadlines. Few tests.

Couple of Absent/Lates and you are dropped. Don't miss class. Lectures are kinda of boring but the topics such as ways to raise a child were very are interesting and learned a lot from it. 3 Exams and 2 Papers, all very easy. Highly recommend this class if you need a good grade.

Lectures are clear and give you almost all the information you need - no book necessary. Unpopular opinion: lectures and assignments were a little bit patronizing. It bothered me that she taught and tested future medical professionals on the improper term "femopause" instead of "menopause." Still super worth taking. Easy and straightforward. Enjoy.

The class is about the history of the human services and gives you counseling approaches. It would not be as much fun in some else's hands, but she makes it fun and stimulating at the same time.

Prof Daniel is a real gem! I was skeptical at first because she does things her own way. Only a few exams and a lot of lectures. She doesn't use videos,powerpoint and such -voice only lectures! Lectures are key to passing her class. Gives great directions during the lectures as to when to take notes -pay attention to this and the exams are easy.

Professor is very organized. Lectures prepare a student for tests. Nothing is on a test that was not covered in class. She gives through directions for your term paper. You are in charge of the grade you get. That said, there is no reason to get less than an A or B.

Long lectures, but all very interesting. She's quirky and endearing but I've never met her! She is very organized, so if you listen to lectures and take notes, you will be prepared for exams. Only 3 exams and 2 papers, so don't forget the dates. Don't fall behind on lectures, but you can do the work on your own time. She's a great public speaker.

She is direct about what she expects from the class. For Psych 14 (zoom) we had 3 test, 1 final test, and the final paper on a mental disorder (8 ps) I got a B for her class and would gladly take her again. Her lectures are very heavy but packed with information so pacing yourself and not falling behind is key to getting a good grade in her class.

One of the easiest professors I have ever had. She's very patient and knowledgable about what she teaches. Her lectures are more important than the textbook so prioritize those but if you read the textbook and take notes you're almost guaranteed to pass her exams. Exams were also very simple and straightforward. Would 100% take again.

I took Professor Daniel during winter semester. It was fully online and accelerated so every day we have around 2 hours of prerecorded lectures to listen to. The only thing that saved my sanity was how interesting the lectures and material was. Not too many assignments, a few tests which were easy if you pay attention to the lectures and take notes

If I had stayed in the class I'm sure I would have passed but it's not a transfer requirement and I'm applying for scholarships so I need my GPA to remain where it's at. Closed-book and note exams seem a bit extreme for a winter course. I was only taking this course for UC Santa Cruz. Her lectures are thorough but expect to devote some time.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time in professor Daniel's class. Her lectures were extremely easy to follow and she is quite funny which made absorbing the material a lot easier. She is very transparent with her grading but it is not tough on grading. Any other psychology course needed I would strongly recommend her class if she teaches it.

Super easy class, you just have to attend lectures and pay attention + take notes. Only a few assignments throughout the semester with plenty of time to submit. She is super nice and understanding and helps you out during class with confusion on assignments.
