Most interesting and helpful lectures I've ever had. Great stories, examples, and good material to learn. Exams are a bit difficult but if you know your material from the study guide he gives you then you should be okay. Other than that, Dr. Bob is one of the best professors I've had so far.

One of the most awesome teachers I've had! Attendance is a must in his class! You do a lot of writing, but it all pays off in the end...you actually learn something and can apply it.

I had Dr Bob for the death class, and it was suprisingly fun, not depressing! He lectures in a way everyone can understand and I learned alot of important skills when it comes to helping bereaved and suicidal people, and those with a terminal illness. I gained more appreciation for life, because I realized I really can die at ANY time!

DO ALLLLLLLLL OF THE 1 POINT BONUSES!!!!!!!!!! It will help you out more than you'll ever know!!!!!!! Get atleast around the 40's on exams and bombing the quiz is ok, all assignements get full points and attend everyday and you'll be good with a 3.3. Do better and expect better grades. Homework is easy. Finals you get to work with a partner!

This class is like a self-help class that gives you alot of techniques to improve yourself. Must attend class everyday or u lose pts. Take very good notes and don't forget to read the book at home and you'll get at least a 3.5

His class was soo good. His exams are a little hard but if you're willing to do the work and ask questions, attend class regularly or just be the "good student" you'll do fine in his class. But I rec. to do as many 1pt bonuses as you can because it really does help your grade in the end.

Bob Baugher is a great guy. I took psych of human relations several years back when I used to go to HCC. His class was challenging, but fun and very interactive. Made alot of friends in there. He is definitely one of my top 3 professors I've ever had, and this was one of my favorite classes ever too, and I'm a science major. Highly recommended.

Incredibly helpful in understanding death, preparing for death, living after a death of a friend or family member. Funeral planning, choices and decisions, helping other cope, do's and dont's to support someone who has experienced a death. I LOVED the planning sheet assignment that had us interview at least three people re: their wishes at death.

(Human Relations) Best instructor ever. He gives very clear lectures with VERY clear ideas of what will be on the test. Pretty much everything he says will be on the test. His class was hard in the beginning but if you study and come to class its easy to get a good grade. I wish i could take all his other classes.

Bob is so blunt, a kid tried being modest by asking about private ares being transplanted. Bob uses actuall language and half the class giggles. His class is pretty straight forward so long as you do all the one point bonuses and study for your tests and quizzes by writing the answers out on note cards from your reading and lecture study guides.

I took his Paranormal Psych - most interesting class I've taken. He's really engaging and he's really nice and easy to talk to. Definitely take a class from him!

This class did not have as many one point bonus opportunities as his other classes have, so study for your two tests, and one quiz, don't procrastinate on the group presentation and you shall do fine in this class earning at least a 3.5-4.0

Great Teacher! The class is a little difficult, as in doing homework everyday; but it is very easy to get a good grade! I got a 3.7, and did not try very hard. Dr. Bob is excellent. Really easy to understand. Makes Abnormal Psych a joke. Not a joke as in super easy dumb down but just great with explanations and activities in class. He is a great teacher and I would definitely recommend taking one of his classes. Be prepared for a much higher reading load than usual Highline courses, however. If you don't do your reading you will fail every test. Tough class but great teacher!

Excellent Instructor, well organized and cares about the students and subject matter. Interesting lectures, you will not fall asleep. The course can be a bit of a workload for a 2 credit class. However, the rigor is well worth it. Dr. Bob truly cares about students and sincerely wants them to succeed. TAKE THIS CLASS!

FANTASTIC teacher! Always clear, has really fun lectures, homework is easy just lots of reading. Do the work and take notes and the class honestly isn't too difficult. He lays everything out the first day and doesn't steer away from it. Let's students know about any changes to work or material ASAP.

He's more of a stand and talk kind of guy. His handwriting can get a bit messy to read; however, his lectures are pretty amazing. Dr. Baugher's classes are definitely great to take. Although he does make a huge deal about independent reading and answering questions, he incorporates his lectures with the reading. Show up, Read, take notes and pass.

Dr. Bob is such a great teacher. Yes, his lectures are long, and his reading assignments are very (very, very, very, ...) long. But, in the end, it is all so worth it. Make sure you know how to take good and efficient notes. Don't be that one student who looks lost during lectures. I would take his class over and over again if I could. Just do it!

I've never dropped a class, never not had a 4.0. I walk into his class first few days are good, a lot of handouts given, but i loved his lectures, he made the topic fun and enjoyable to learn. BUT YOU HAVE TO STUDY YOUR BUTT OFF. TESTS ARE REALLY HARD. MANY OF THEM. THEY ARE LONG. If you want a challenge, have him as a teacher. Don't recommend

One of those professors that you'll remember for the rest of your life. His lectures are engaging, funny and packed with information that sticks with you. He assigns a lot of reading and memorization because he wants the students to realize how much they're capable of. Every member of my class got to be friends with eachother.

Dr. Bob is an amazing instructor! His lectures are beyond amazing and so enjoyable. I took both is Psych classes my first year at Highline and I absolutely do not regret anything. Best class I've taken at Highline. I got to know everybody b/c he made us memorize everyone's name to do class discussions. Gives MANY extra cred, so be sure to do them all. Might seem like 1pt doesn't matter but trust me, it adds up. Returns tests next day b/c he believes you should get feedback asap. Read book & study. Take Dr. Bob! No regrets!

I enjoyed Dr. Bob a lot since he made his lectures engaging. He also sets up the classroom for you to interact w/other peers. If you need to take this course for credit, I definitely recommend him. Take good notes-it'll be all the material you need on exams. Use notecards, go thru the book, and remember key definitions. He gives bonus!!

I took Dr. Bob's class because all of his amazing reviews- and he is now easily my favorite professor I've ever had. He is so knowledgable and this was one of those classes you will never forget. He has the best stories and his lectures are amazing. Tests are a little long (few short answer questions) but as long as you take notes, you'll be fine!

My favorite professor at Highline! He cares more about the students actually getting and understanding the information. He gives feedback on all returned papers, and he always has them graded within two days. Really cares about his students.

Bob loves his job. And you can tell cause he does it well. He knows exactly what is on the tests and you know too. His assignments are very clear, there are tons of opportunities for extra credit, but he does make you study. Its not overly difficult; you need to read and study, but the class is fun, engaging and the material stays with you.

Dr. Baugher is an amazing teacher! In total there is 8 exams, including a final, no midterm. He gives many opportunities for 1-point bonuses, which really add up in the end, and are easy. He has good lectures and makes them really funny. If you put the work and effort in, it should be an easy A. He is the reason why I am majoring in psychology.

Great professor ! No need for the board or computer work, he gives very fun and important lectures all from his learning days. I can tell he really loves his job ! Homework is easy, turn it in on time and youre set! Yes exams are hard but they all come from the study guide. Gives lots of extra credit when needed. Very understandable and patient

This was my first quarter as a college student because Im doing the Running Start program, I had no idea what to expect from this class. The outline is about 6 long assignments and like 10 different quizzes + exams, but Dr. Bob is very sweet and accessible. I wasnt planning on doing more than one psych class but he is just so fun and friendly!

I took this class my first quarter at Highline. Death and Life was an amazing class and I learned quite a bit. You'll learn a lot from the professor! Favorite professor, I have ever taken! It was so interesting to learn in his class and what was on the exams was what we learned in class or in the textbook.
