Not just a good teacher, but a great guy. A lot of experience and background.

He's the best instuctor I have taken at C.O.C he is very wise, funny, a ****, and is a real down to earth person. I recommend him to anyone, especially those who are not sure about their major. He has become one of my idols take him and you'll see why.

Interesting class, keeps you awake. Powerpoints everyday. Tangent crazy stories. Wisecracks of an ex cop.

Great guy. Even if your arnt interested in going into a law enforc. field it is an interesting class to take. Ex-cop and he shows you a different side to cops.

One time he had a donut sitting on his desk, I just could not help my self laughing. I mean it really goes to show you cops have a thing for donuts. Brode is a great teacher. You gotta take his class!

he's by far the best admjus teacher there is. better than sonntag and henderson. he's so funny he cracks me up. just copy off your neighbor and youll be fine . youll pass... do the extra credit. highly recommended

BRODE IS THE BEST!!! never met anyone like this guy. just have to be careful, he's got a 44 mag., the most powerful handgun in the world, and it will blow you're head clean off your shoulders. other than that he is a great proffesor and you will learn a lot.

Great teacher knows how to make all his material interesting. If you pay attention to what he's talking about you would have to be a moron not to pass the class. Oh, and among his students and himself, political correctness isn't a very high priority.

Brode is one of the best teachers at COC. I enjoyed all of his lectures mainly because he has so many stories that relate to the topics. The tests are pretty easy and he is a very understanding teacher. I wish he taught all the AJ classes!

Mr. Brode at coc is one of my faviort teachers. I wish other professors where as good as he is. Is course is extreamly easy, and he does not expect that much from his students. He is a great person, and has a great personality. He is funny most of the time, so basically you have to have a brian damage not too pass his class. Everyone passes.

Brode in not only a great person but a GREAT TEACHER. Yeah you are not required to do a lot of homework but you are required to show up. He knows a lot about being a cop and being a Bad Ass one at that, Dirty Harry Style. To me he is not an easy A he is an open book of knowledge..I suggest if you take being a cop seriously you listen to every thing

Ok, so it has evaded my mind specifically which class I had him for. Anyhow, about 7 years ago I entered JC at C.O.C. He was the first professor I had encountered, and man, the guy is hilarious and knows his stuff!. His method a bit "unorthodox" but I did come away with a better understanding of law enforcement. Show up and be respectful, easy A

this guy was funny as hell. if you are offended easily idk if you would like him, cause he is a ball buster. show up and take notes and you are golden. one of the best teachers that coc has.

Awesome guy, you aren't going to learn alot about justice, more about his life. He is VERY funny and you will leave his class with a smile. He wants everyone to pass. I only took the mid term and final and i still got a B. Plus all his test are open note open book. Take notes and you'll be fine. He DOES NOT CARE HE TALKS ABOUT WHATEVER HE WANTS TO

This Professor makes law enforcement fun and easy learning. Very clear about lectures and does not over load you with homework. Look forward to attending this class.

He is THE funniest, coolest teacher I have ever taken in my entire life. His tests are difficult...but are open note! You must show up to class to take notes and take the practice final which is worth a lot. His final is half of the midterm and half what you learn afterwards. His life stories are incredible and he jokes around a lot. Fun

Brode is an excellent teacher. Very Clear, always available. Demands you to be serious on learning Administrative Justice and not just be filling a course requirement. Made the class much easier to learn though he was tough on us learning. Teaching skills are well versed and comprehensible.

This professor was the best teacher I have ever had. He makes hilarious and inappropriate jokes and picks on everyone. He truly cares about his students and wants everyone to do their best to pass. He also gives tons of extra credit. I faced some difficulties in my life that made coming to school difficult. He was extremely understanding. Nicestguy

Brode has an interesting sense of humor and if you are easily offended and shy don't take him. He makes class enjoyable and while you may find yourself engaged in classroom conversations that seem irrelevant give a moment and then Brode makes a comment that ties it all together. I have taken Brode for two semesters and highly recommend him!!!

One of my favorites. Brode keeps everyone engaged with a combination of his extensive legal/law enforcement experience and awesome sense of humor. I've taken many of his courses over the years and have always looked forward to showing up each week!

I took Brode for all 4 of my classes last semester and absolutely loved him. He was an amazing teacher; extremely funny and very knowledgeable. He was not only willing to help you out with any class related issues, but with personal issues as well. I took his summer Business Law class and this professor is respected and absolutely inspirational. He knew many students weren't interested and had fun lectures with a great sense of humor. Good teacher, he has years of practical experience, and isn't a textbook teacher. If you are interested in going into Law Enforcement this is the teacher you want.

You could not ask for a better professor. He knows what he is talking about, he shares some of his own experiences and real life stories. He is a formal cop so he knows exactly what he is talking about. He is very nice and caring and wants you to succeed. He does make a lot of jokes that keeps the class interesting and never boring.

He is a good professor, he makes class really exciting and makes your time in the class a good time. You almost never get bored, he is knowledgeable and helps you out with possibly deciding a career in law enforcement.

Love this Professor! Relaxed and knows his stuff, keeps the classes interesting by mixing personal and professional life stories with the class lessons. Very personable, loves talking about guns, cars and old music. Tests are easy but do require some studying, but as long as you pay attention and take notes you will do fine.

Amazing Professor! He is very knowledgeable and has a great way of breaking down material for an easier understanding. He has different stories of his personal life that relate directly into the lessons. He knows the laws inside and out based on his law degree. Unfortunately, this was Brode's last year teaching , but everybody that had taken his classes before, kept on taking the rest of the AJ classes he offered, he was truly a good professor, not only did he make the class fun, but also you were learning. This was my first time taking his class and I truly don't regret taking it with him.

Incredible professor, it is a bummer that this was his last semester as a teacher or else I would have taken him again. He knows his stuff and has had a very long experience in the field. Tests tend to be very easy as well.

Bob Brode is by far the funniest teacher I've ever had. He uses life examples to better understand the topics. He steers off track sometimes yet we always relate the random conversations to what we are learning. He is a great teacher and I only wish I would've taken him sooner.

Professor Brode is a very god educator. He gives very interesting lectures that are not difficult to follow. Grades are very fair, as long as you do as he asks you'll pass the class no problem.

Do not take Professor Brode, unless you want an amazing semester! He is smart, funny and not to mention extremely good looking. On a more serious note, his teaching style is very laid back and stress free. He has a deep understanding of the concepts and theories of law, yet is able to explain them in practical and entertaining ways. Simply Awesome!

This professor is amazing. He will literally make teaching fun and really does care for all his students. His jokes is basically trash talk and potty humor but he incorporates them into his lecture and if you want to do anything law enforcement related, Brode is the professor to take.

I have NEVER looked more forward to going to an early morning lecture before! You will not regret taking a class with him, he makes lectures enjoyable instead of a typical boring "get me out of here" lecture. He's the gnarly professor you've always wanted to have, I loved this class so much I wish I could retake it again just for the fun of it!

Brode is truly one of the best professors at COC, he is laid back, funny, and really has a class that everyone enjoys showing up to. It is the only class that I have shown up to with it being cancelled and had students (including myself) wishing class had not been cancelled because of how much fun the class is. I would 100% suggest taking his class

Brode is one of the best administrative of justice teachers at college of the canyons. He really knows how to make the class fun, he calls you a lot but its okay he is super funny. He always has jokes and some amazing stories. He is one of my favorite professors I have taken.

Professor Brode made class something to look forward to. I genuinely enjoyed my time in the class and am sad that he is retiring, but glad I was able to have the opportunity to learn from him. One of the only classes I truly wanted to attend every week. Professor Brode puts so much knowledge and enthusiasm behind what he teaches that it makes every class period more interesting than the last. If he wasn't retiring I'd recommend him to anyone wanting to get into this major.

I took this prof for Business Law for my major and I have to say he certainly is a great professor. He brings the information to life and knows not that many students would find the material interesting, but he makes it interesting with personal anecdotes and humor. Final was open book and I ended up getting an A. Certainly a nice boost to my gpa(:

Since i took in summer, it was so hot and many students were tired and wanted to live their best life. Brode understood that and let us out early almost every day. When i saw syllabus i thought it be hard, but we were only graded on open book final. Lectures were interesting and it was fun course, but everyone seemed so quiet and dead;well summer.

He taught my Real Estate Law class and I would take any class taught by him.
