Dr. Pryor is great. He seems kind of strict but he just expects a certain level of maturity in his students, you know, attendance, participation, and completion of assignments. A fair grader, not a hand holder.

People are saying he's strict, but It felt to me like intimidation. I was forced to drop the class because I couldn't stand having every movement I made while just sitting in the class commented on. If you authoritarian teachers he's fine, but if you don't like being watched even while not giving a speech, avoid him.

This guy needs to have himself recorded while he teaches so he can see what an impact he has on his students. I never left his class feeling good. Wow, I am so glad to see I am not the only one who thinks that this teacher is rude to his students and unwilling to listen, often deciding what you are going to say before you even say it. He should be a science teacher because his skills in verbal communication are very poor. He often insults a student per day in his class. Very bad professor.

Yes, Bob is a tough teacher, but it seems like everyone is whining about his class. On the first day he lays out the criteria for getting an 'A' in the class. You either do it, or you don't. He's not the type to hold your hand through things because he wants his students to earn their grades and work hard for them. I worked hard for my A.

Very hard. He expects absolute perfection in your speaking. I got an A but had to work too hard for it and was already good at speaking. His teaching is effective, everyone in class is notably better at speaking by the end of the term, but he is over critical of most of them. If you are not already a good speaker and you have a high GPA avoid him.

Pryor obvious is there for the salary. He has absolutely no passion in teaching. I couldn't believe a publish speaking teacher does all the things opposite to publish speaking techniques in class. He leans against the podium, his voice is monotoned, he is rude to students. He simply is tired of teaching. He is negative to students.

Pryor is the worst professor I've had at PCC. He's rude, always late, can't use a computer, is a terrible public speaker, won't answer questions, won't help you develop skills, and makes off colored jokes in class. It's clear he doesn't like his job or people, for that matter. I'm appalled PCC continues to employ him. Stay away from his classes.

This was the biggest waste of my time to take this course. Literally ANY teacher would be better than him. He spends most of class reading the handout he just gave you, word for word, and is not interesting to listen to in the least. As a public speaking teacher, he completely flops. Obviously in it for the pay and retirement.

Bob is uninspired, passive-aggressive, and downright mean. He made fun of classmates with disabilities and accents. Grading criteria unclear/change without informing us. Is argumentative, combative, and degrading when he gets called out for his errors (of which there are many) or attitude. He should be terminated immediately.

This teacher doesnt like to listen to our opinions, and feels as though only his matter. He is very negative, rude, and has a very unwelcoming personality. He is kind of boring, and expects too much from us.

Definitely don't take Pryor. He doesn't have any interest in class and makes it obvious. I've never had a worse teacher and have no idea how he's still around. I would rather take a public speaking class from an software developer. Stay away from him!

Not only did he not follow his own guidelines, but he also consistently made a fool of himself. I'm sure on multiple occasions he was drunk in class, he made my friend feel bad cause he didn't like their topic and said I threatened him because I wans't gonna put up with his snoodie bulldog attitude. Also a horrible critiquer.
