Awesome guy, I'm now a PhD student in Ohio and he's been the best prof I've had.

Probably one of the most known, respected, and enjoyed professors at Eastfield. Very helpful...good class.

I'm graduating from UTD this semester and Sharp is the absolute best teacher I've ever had. I've often wondered why he's stayed at Eastfield (no offense).

The class is somewhat easy. You just have to take a lot of notes and study them all.

There is a reason his 150 seat lecture hall is a sell out. His lectures are legendary, and his reviews are the exam making for easy As. A+++++ for this gifted professor!

Took his basic history course. He was one of the best professors I've ever had. Very easygoing; he remember's everyone's name in a class of 100 people, no kidding. He's amazing.

bob sharp's class is awesome! he actually makes taking notes fun! i took him for both history 1301 and 1302. and he is ALWAYS smiling.

Bob's lectures are amazing, probably the best at Eastfield. He also has a great sense of humor and isn’t afraid to say what’s on his mind. He does help you with a review before each test, which is basically the test. Take him for history you won’t regret it.

What can I say about this man other than he is one of the greatest history professors that has ever exsisted!!Bob Sharp Rocks!!!!!

Awesome teacher - keeps class interesting. Good student involvement - Impressed by the individual attention - prof remembered the names of most of the student in a class of 160 students. Lots of material - only required two books, one text/one novel. 4 tests with extra credit available. Not too bad if you study material - gave study sheets.

Likes to get to know students. But liked to talk about 9/11 a lot and local sports. The class is really easy and the environment simulates high-school. What more could someone ask for. Re-emphasizing his talks about 9/11, local sports. Don't take his class if you've head enough about 9/11 and local sports.

I absolutely hate history but Sharp made it enjoyable. He is a fun and honest teacher who truly appreciates history! I respect him so much!!

He is such a great teacher, one of the first ones that I had at Eastfield. He really cares about the students and he has sooo many! He really likes history and makes it interesting. He has good reviews before all the tests that helps out.

The BEST TEACHER at EFC. Great personality, funny, gives excellent notes, worries about each student. If you take notes and review them, you will do great in the tests. He gives easy extra credit points also and no homework. Assistance is key. He makes history soo interesting. I recommend him 100%. Take a shot.

He is a great teacher. I love his class. he brought history alive, like it was happening right then. This class is easy if you do the work and go to class.

Good teacher. Makes history interesting. Gives off an air of caring for all students, but in reality is a little fake. Has good intentions though and the class is easy and well informed even though it is large group. Large group instruction scares alot of people away, but it's actually pretty great. Just show up and do the reading he tells you.

I think he is the most amazing teacher! I have taken him for 2 classes. If he had more i would take more even though its not on my degree plan! VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! The only thing is he really favors guys before girls. Nothing funny like... I think he just has more in common to talk to them about!

The GREATEST Prof. Ive EVER had. Very nice guy. Makes every effort he can to work with you. Chooses cheap books for the class. A lot of reading, but he tells you EXACTLY what will be on the tests. No suprises. Fun Interesting. Absolutely nothing bad to say about Mr. Sharp!

I love Prof Sharp!! I took him for 1301 AND 1302. He actually makes me interested in History. I made an easy A in the class. He gives many opportunities for extra credit. He cares about his students and makes an effort to know EVERYONES name. He is seriously gifted at what he does. FAvorite teacher I have ever had!! Hillarious man!! always smiling.

Mr. Sharp was awesome. He was very easy because 70% of the test questions came directly from the notes (that he displays on a projector so you can't miss anything!) He talked about history like he was right there watching it. He knows what he is talking about and is very entertaining. Definitely recommend.

Take this class! Professor Sharp may look like he would be boring but thats false! His tests are just like the review, his class is always interesting, and he tries to get to know people which i liked, so needless to say take his classes!

Definitely one of the best teachers I've ever had. In college or otherwise. Funny and entertaining. He really cares about his students. Even if you HATE history, you'll love him. Some people think he is a little tough sometimes, but only if you're not trying. He's one of those professors you'll fondly remember for the rest of your life.

Mr. Sharp was a great teacher. I took him for Hist 1301 and 1302 and there was never a dual moment in the classroom. You will need to take good notes and read the chapters he tells you. The reviews are straight forward. Highly recommend him.

I took Mr. Sharp for both HIST 1301/1302 and I have to say he is the best. Lots of note taking and about 5 tests but the study guides are the test so if you study those you will be fine. He is playful and loud, so he keeps you interested. He loves to get to know you as well. Doesn't mind if you miss a few classes either! TAKE HIS COURSE.

You can tell that Mr. Sharp loves to teach and isn't dreading being there. He is very helpful and wants everyone to succeed. The notes can be confusing, but as long as you write everything down, read the assignments and do the review, you will do well.

I looooove this professor. He's passionate about his job, makes learning very fun, is soooooo funny, and has a ton of energy. I had him for 1301 and WILL take him again for 1302. He's an awesome professor.

Mr. Sharp is funny, witty, and extremely friendly to all his students. He definitely makes his classes worth the while! Funny and energetic are two words that describe his classes! History can be fun if you have him as your professor!

Professor Sharp is awesome! He was funny and I always looked forward to his class. His exams are not difficult as longs as you take notes and study them! I took him my first semester so I made a B because I wasn't too focused.

I had Professor Sharp as a Freshman in the fall and spring 1986-1987 School year. He was a great professor and because I did well in his class, he really looked out for opportunities for me. It turned out that we lived in the neighborhood down the street from each other and I would often drop by his home just to chat and hang out.

He made history interesting. He designed his lectures as though you were reliving that part of history. I took several of his history courses between 1993-1994.
