She loves teaching and does anything she can to help you understand what's going on. The class is mostly online, textbook isn't required. A lot of extra credit opportunities. She made me like math.

Absolutely awesome - it's been over 15 years since I had a math class & I was terrified. Harman made it ridiculously easy to get an A. She's a fasntastic professor, helpful, clear, entertaining & my new understanding has made me brave enough to try an online class next time. Don't hesitate to take her classes!!

I loved this teacher and she was amazing. She's barely 30 years old, and still acts like a teenager in a good fun way, but still is responsible. She's in with the students and she was funny too. I highly recommend this teacher.

I have never liked any math teacher I had since I was in middle school, but Mrs. Harman changed the way I looked at mathematics, she is a wonderful teacher. Her learning techniques are easy to follow and she does not make it harder than it really is. I would highly recommend her class.

I really liked Ms. Harman. She always explained things really clear and she really seemed to care about every student. Professor Harman is the BEST math teacher in the world. Ive never understood algebra untill I took her class. You have to work for your grade but it is very easy to earn a good grade. She will help you with anything and even stay longer to explain if you dont understand. If someone failed my class they simply didnt attend. Thanks HARMAN!!!!

This teacher was awesome! I am so slow at math it is not my best subject but she helped me out. She is willing to stay after & help you. She has a sense of humor and cares about the students learning the material. Don't miss more than a day or 2 of this class and you can get an A. I got a C almost a B and Im really bad at math.

An EXCELLENT teacher. Attendance doesn't count as a grade, but if you attend class every day, there is NO reason that you will fail. She explains things to where every one can understand.

She is an excellent professor. Attendance wasnt mandatory. She allows you to sit outside the class and do work if you didnt want to listen to her lecture. When you do go to class & she lectures be sure not to be on the computer she hates that. She emails back her responses quick & she goes out of her way to help out her students. I'd recommend her.

Absolutely BEST math teacher i've ever had. I'm horrible in math. This is the 3rd time i'm taking this class and i've gotta A's and B's on all my tests. Shes very helpful. She is sensitive to student's needs, and is willing to help you out, so long as you put in effort. She never assigns unnecessary work. Her classroom manner is relaxed and friendly, and she has a great sense of humor.

This professor was a good teacher. If you ever have questions she will answer them clearly. She is a straight to the point person and is very dedicated to the students learning and not just doing to the work for the grade. You must complete the homework online. Practice tests are similar to the written tests. Good teacher!

I took her for MAT0018,MAT0028,MAT1033 and MAC1105. Some I got an A and others I got a B. She is a great professor to have if you struggle with math. Wish she was teaching STATS. Would recommend her to anyone.

Great teacher, "the prozac professor" eased my math anxiety. Very helpful. If you get ahead, attendance is not always mandatory. She cares and wants to help her students do well. I took her class for MAT0018 and MAT0028. She is very helpful and thorough with the material and extremely nice. She does everything she can to help you understand the material and encourages all questions without making you feel dumb. She is very understanding and offers 3 test retakes at end of semester to improve your grade. Would take again!

Took 8 week hybrid. Lots of online work. Required 15 hours a week of work on computer. 3 tests. I finished all the online work, midterm, cumulative assessment and Final exam in 25 days. That was 3 weeks early and ended up with easy A. Finish all work and your done. She is very cool and easy going.

Mrs. Harman was an awesome professor. She gives way to much homework. I took this class as hybrid, might as well done only online as its all online anyways. 15 hours each week for an 8 week class. The hours she expects is just to much. Shes really so wonderful, if your ready to put in the time take her. If not don't do it.

Professor Harman is awesome. I struggle with math, but having her as a professor made the experience less dreadful. She explained the material thoroughly until you finally understood. You must, must, MUST attend class and do your homework!!! If you don't then you mot likely won't pass. Um, did I mention she's super hilarious too? A great professor.

Professor Harman is a very easy to work with. She assigns a lot of homework through ALEKS . She responded quickly to e-mails. Stay on top of your homework and ask questions when you don't understand -- you will get an A. I would take her again if she was teaching MAC1105 online this summer but she's only teaching on campus, I am a distant student.

A lot of hours on ALEKS and a lot to learn but she is very helpful if you interact with her in class and ask questions. I hate math with a passion but this class forced me to learn . She will go through lectures fast if students do not reply/interact so it seems like she isn't teaching much but if you ask questions she could lecture all class.

Prof. Harman is super nice but requires a lot of work. I took this class online because I work full time during the day & would prefer to have my nights to myself rather than in a classroom. Requires 10hr min per week through ALEKS- which is hard when you work full time.

Ms. Harman is a great teacher! Took her for College Algebra over the summer semester, one of the 7-week classes. She uses the math program ALEKS, which wasn't my favorite math program, but I passed so that's what matters. She gives 3 tests, and takes the highest out of the 3 and drops the other 2. Great at explaining, so show up for lessons.

Professor Harman was a great professor, her schedule and syllabus was clear cut and you knew what she expected of you from the beginning. Online coursework may be harder to some but math is my worst subject so it was a struggle for me. Overall she works with you and I would take her again! My next semester I'll definitely invest in tutoring!!

all classwork is completed on ALeks, requires 10 hours of Aleks per week. She is very helpful and willing to answer any questions. Class is easy to complete . Does not care if you miss class as long as you complete assignments. Very easy going and smart.

Professor Harmon is an excellent teacher. She is understanding when you have a personal issue, as long as you get your work done in-between, it's all good. She taught me so much during my time in her class and she set a great fiundation for my future in all other math courses. Absolutely would reccomend her to every student.

I had an online class and the book and work were on Pearson which was easy. everything was outlined at the beginning of class and she would send a weekly discussion to let us know what was due that week. I only emailed her once for something and it was later at night and she responded within 10 mins. I am a fan of simple and to the point! !

Professor Harman was an amazing math Professor. She is hilarious and genuinely cares about your success. Lot's of homework, but it is very helpful for the test! I also struggle with math, and she worked with me to understand the material. I would definitely take her class again, and would highly recommend her class! :)

I enjoyed Professor Harman's personality and humor. There is a lot of homework so you definitely need at least 10 hours of out of class time to complete the required work. Step by step examples of the course work during her lectures so referring back to notes during homework was helpful. Responds to emails timely and clear grading criteria.

Took as an online class, if you watch the videos weekly, you'll pass. She uses her old recorded videos from different online classes for your hw, but she explains everything great and does tons of examples This is the first college class I've taken and I did the 7 week class and it was super easy. Only reason I got a B was because I'm bad at tests.

Other than the fact that she shows up late for class, Professor Harman is a great professor. I suck at math, but I was able to understand her class and do well on the tests. Lots of homework and a weekly quiz, but it does help you with the tests. she is very funny and chill, she cares about her students and would recommend her class to anyone.

If math is your weak spot, TAKE PROFESSOR HARMAN. Do your homework, take good notes and ask questions and you will pass without question. She helps you along the way and has a great way of making the material "stick". Great personality and professor. 10/10 would take again.

She was a wonderful professor. IDS 1107 with her was a blast and I honestly have no complaints. Solid professor and she seems to care deeply about her students. I will say IDS does have a bit more going on with the Research Skills Mini Course and service learning hours that you have to do. Overall great class and great professor.

I absolutely loved Professor Bobbie! After being away from school for years, she made this class so easy to navigate. She even stayed after class a few times to ensure I understood the material and answered all my questions. I highly recommend taking her class—she is truly amazing! Professor Harman is the best math teacher I have had so far. We used a site called ALEKS for our tests and homework. She also had video notes on canvas for us to to copy. Professor Harman actually cares that her students learn the material and makes sure that you do not feel embarrassed for asking questions. If you struggle with math, take Harman!

I had a great time in professor Harman's class. I always struggled in math but now I am a lot more confident in my math skills. She's open to questions and is very patient when you are having a hard time understanding a topic. She also does a great job preparing for tests.

I took Professor Harman's class for MGF1130 Mathematical Thinking. I absolutely despise math, but this class was fairly easy to pass as everything was in the Aleks program, which gave you multiple paths for getting the correct answers, and helped you learn with the repetition. All major exams were proctored to be done on-site. Always responded.
