Dr. Jones is the best teacher I ever had. He's fun and really nice. He taught me things about grammar and writing that I never thought I could learn. He makes it seem so easy. You will love him.

A really good professor. Always nice. Makes British Literature fun. He grades tough like the others here say, but he lets you fix your papers and resubmit them. This is good because he doesn't take very many grades. He responds fast when you email him, and he doesn't take long to grade your papers.

Alot of teachers just tell you to write the papers. Professor Jones literally shows you how to write the papers. He grades his essays hard but he lets you make corrections for a better grade. You get extra points if you go to tutoring. He is very helpful and intelligent. Hands down, the best.

Good professor. He has his weird moments, but is nice to be around. Class was very simple. He assigned the stories and we went over them in class. Also he gave good outlines for the essays and gave chances to make up the grades if you got points off. There was one research paper and 3 other papers. There were also tests which are over the stories.

A good professor who makes sense when he teaches. If you do your work and pay attention you can get a good grade is his class. If you get a bad grade on a paper, you can go back and correct. I don't like reading, so the tests were hard.

To me this class was hard and the papers were hard. Mr. Jones was very helpful and he let me correct my mistakes. I learned alot from this class. Mr. Jones is a very good teacher. People who are absent or tardy all the time have trouble with the class.

I took Mr. Jones for English 1301 and 1302. He's an exceptional professor, often times offers extra credit, gives you the opportunity to improve your essay grade and he's willing to help you after hours. I love him!!! I really don't get why people are putting all these bad ratings, if you put in the effort, this course is an easy A or B.

Professor Jones is very concerned about his students. He is always available to answer questions. This is not a do nothing and get an A. You must write many essays but Professor Jones will help you with each step. He is a great teacher!

Anybody who says this class is difficult is LAZY. This is one of the fewest teachers Ive came across in my college career who wants you to pass. The essays are not that difficult just do them and its an easy A! Oh and he allows you to make corrections to your essays at the end of the term for a new grade! You will not be disappointed, choose him!

I would take Professor Jones again. His online class was sometimes hard for me, and I think he grades his essays hard. He is very helpful, and he lets you correct your papers to get a higher grade. When I emailed him, he answered in a few seconds. You have to think a lot about the discussion questions, but I enjoyed them. Good teacher.

I took this class as a Summer 2 six week course and it was a breeze, do the work get the credit. It was that easy, even though it was in the summer, I had plenty of time to work and still receive the credit. One of the few teachers I've had that allowed me to correct my essays for a better grade. Definitely the best English teacher I've ever had.

I took Jones for english 1302, he's a very funny guy and just like 1301, essays and more essays. He's very helpful and will answer anything. Will work in class on essays which is nice so he can help you.

The only online professor at Lone Star who answers emails. Everything was laid out so you always knew what to do and when it was due. He also gives clear instructions. There were lots of discussions, readings, and essays. Professor Jones was very helpful when I had questions. You can also correct your essays for a higher grade.

Made British Lit class fun. You still have to do the reading, take notes in class, study for the tests, and take the time to write the research papers. Some students in our class found out that he does not play when it comes to plagiarism. He is very nice and he will help you if you ask for help. Good teacher.

I agree that if you don't get a good grade in this class, you are lazy. This teacher will help you with everything and he lets you correct your essay if you get a bad grade. He is strict about attendance so don't be late or absent alot.

Seriously the best English teacher you could have. It's not quite of a challenge but it pushes you slightly to where you know exactly what you're doing. There's only 3 essays and an easy easy easy grammar test that he counts twice so If you pass it the first time you don't have to take it the second time. Best teacher ever. Take him!!

Nice professor but essays essays and more essays. He helps you but he grades hard if you don't do everything just like he tells you. Also strict about attendance. He will flunk you if you miss his class. He is cool to talk to.

Awesome professor! He is clear and cares about the students, he'll take the time to help you with papers even if you're not in his class. The class was very easy, we only had 4 simple essays 4-6 pgs long including the work cited pg. If you want to get through English the easiest way possible, take him.

Well if you want an easy A, there he is. But if you want to learn, I will suggest against him. His class is easy, everything is clear, sometimes is too slow. But the thing is he will not give any helpful feedback for your essays. And attendance is mandatory; however, it's kinda time-consuming cos he will not teach much. Online class would be better

To me the class was not easy at all. That's a lot of essays and writing and there is always an essay due. He is very good at teaching you how to write the essays. He grades a little hard and marks all over your paper. You can make corrections if your grade comes out bad. Required Attendance and very strict about it.

Easyyy Professor! 4 papers, a few quizzes, and weekly discussion posts. He provides an outline for each paper, which makes writing the paper super easy! Allows resubmissions for a better grade. Responds to emails very quickly!

Overall a really knowledgeable and fun professor. There was a lot of reading but it's Literature class. He doesn't take many grades, only 3 exams, an annotated bibliography, and a long research paper. If you mess up on something, your grade goes down fast. He goes over most of test questions before the test. Recommended if you need to take lit.

Took this class during summer. I was easy but a lot of reading and writing. Weekly discussions, 3 essays, 4 quizzes including final 25 questions ea, and weekly 250-500 word long journals. It was a breeze since its mostly free writing and the quizzes are so easy. Yes get the book you really need it bc you write a lot. The essays were the hardest.

This professor is easy. Although a lot of reading and three essays through the course. He gives you feedback on you essay to do better.

There will be about 3 papers and then for the final its not actually a final its just a paper.

Professor Bobby Jones takes his time and makes sure that every students understands the material. He is very humorous and an easy grader as well. I've had him my first semester of school and is still, by far, my favorite professor.

Not really an easy class but not too hard either. You can make a good grade in his class if you do everything the way he teaches you and turn all your work in. If you don't, it can be really hard. He is strict on attendance, so don't miss class. He is a very nice and helpful professor.

He is a good teacher but is a harsh grader. Every time I would turn in a paper he would take off very many points because he said my format was wrong. He is nice and he offers to help you but he is a hard proffessor. Strict on attendance and does not care if you are absent because you have a lot of emergencys.

Fall 2016. Lecture & gets off topic talking about unrelated material. Don't need to buy the book just borrow someone's for the 2 times u use it. His grading for the essays was very different. I didn't make the grammar errors he taught on each essay and no errors period & only ever received one 85. Length requirement & all still no love. B ready!

Very clear professor. I learned more from him than all of my hs teachers. This is not a hard class to get an A, but you have to work for it and spend some time on it and use the book more than 2 times. Anybody that has a hard time in this class is a slacker and does not pay attention. Easy class but don't expect to get an A for nothing.

Professor Jones was a great instructor! He gave out clear instructions and was always willing to help you if you were struggling or had any questions. He writes his feedback on turn it in and gives you the opportunity to revise your papers. There weren't a lot of tests or quizzes but the essays were the major grades.

Professor Jones is very clear with his instructions and he is very good at explaining exactly what he wants you to do. He grades a little tough but he is helpful. The only students who have a hard time in his class are the students who never come to class and are late all the time. He always says he can't teach you if you are not there.

Excellent professor, he's straight and to the point and tells you exactly how he wants it. Very little homework so do well with what he assigns. He gives out many free As during peer evaluation, you just have to show up with your essay rough draft. I highly recommend him !

Took this for a semester, online. Loved how organize and structured his class was. He had guidance and clear instructions as to what he wants for every paper he assigned and he's a logical grader. This is a professor that will tell you to return your textbook, one that will be up front with you, and he doesnt want you to be quiet. He will get peeved if you go to class and mess with your phone, but other than that, his class was entertaining to say the least. He will get off topic pretty quickly, and only 1-2 scantron needed. 4 essays: choose

I hate english, but I'm pretty good at writing papers. This is the first class I've ever received extremely low grades on essays and journal entries. He's such a tough grader and I only took this course because I needed the credit. I took it online over summer and there was so much due each week and the readings were very confusing.

He is a very kind and inspirational man. He will have you laughing when its time to laugh and teach you when Its time to learn. Super easy class. He is one of those teachers you pray to get. He helps you out as well if you ever need help!

I took this class online this summer. It's time consuming because you take the whole course in 5 weeks. Everything is easy to follow. Professor Jones is very clear about what he wants on all the assignments. He tells you how much time to spend every week and he even gives you the grading rubrics up front. Not a free A for just doing nothing.

He explains everything, and he is very clear. Those who say he gets off topic are just not smart enough to get the connections he's making.

Mr. Jones is so down to earth and he will tell you straight what you need to fix. After taking his class I feel like I have become a much better writer. I made all A's on my essays this semester!! Just follow what he tells you (it's not a lot to follow by) and you'll pass with an A/B.
