Mr.Bobby-kind man to courteous kids.His lectures are smooth and okay but he will payback silently to disputers.My frind clashed for 2 points and whole grp suffered for remaining quizes and tests. not easy but a nice guy.

He gives the impression of being a perfectionist in everything(structure, content, font type and size, uniformity bla?bla..). He is a great professor indeed. He teaches the class everything, but sometimes misses important points.His classes are concept focused, and not exam focused. Overall, you need to study a lot! If you plan on studying a couple days before the exam, it WILL NOT cut it.His exams are known to be difficult. Definitely recommend

Amazing and kind person, Really tries his best to make sure everyone understands him. Classes are long but they give you an idea on what to focus for quizzes. Clinical's were the real learning experience for me. He made sure you understand what you take in theory. Very Nice and Helpful.

This class was overall great! I would recommend this class, or professor to anyone. He is very clear in his explantations on the topics. His tests follow the book and his lecture, so you would want to be in class and read the book. If you do all the work, read the book and go to class there shouldn't be any reason you cant get an B in the class.

He is a nice guy,helpful, always radiates positive aura but you really need to read every detail on the book to passed his class. 26 chapters in 8 weeks. Overall its a great experience :)

Prof Varghese is amazing! Best Professor I've ever had. He is so smart & makes class enjoyable. I can honestly say his personality & ability to teach in many different learning styles makes you able to absorb all the information that is crammed into one class. It's a lot but if you do not do well in this class, it is because you didn't try!!

Like every course, be prepared to READ that book, it will an extension of your body for the next 8 weeks. Don't assume you can skip over the 'easy' chapters either. I took this class during the summer (6 week). Professor Varghese is an incredible instructor, he is very passionate about psychiatry which is clearly demonstrated in his lectures. He is extremely fairl, and respects all students and most importantly values our perceptions. His test/quizzes are tough, reading and attending lecture is a most.

He is very smart and knows all the content. You will learn a lot with his lectures. Get ready to know everything in that book. He has quizzes related to each exam and you need the points. His exams are all critical thinking and you have to know the content. If you fail it's not because of him not being prepared, you can always go and talk to him.

I was a student in Mr. Vargheses class recently. I believe he is one of the most brilliant & genius educators at BC. His questions are tough but correctly worded except one or two minor typos. Im guessing that the someone who wrote a letter to the Dean is the one sarcastic, condescending supremacist who always rolls eyes to prof's comments.

Dr. Varghese is probably one of the best professors I've ever had at BC! Super caring and goes out of his way to help students. Not a hard class. If wish I could take every class with him. Definitely go with him as your mentor!

I took Dr. Varghese for the psych summer term (lecture and clinical). I have him again for the ortho neuro, and I am very happy about it. He is very fair and understanding. His lectures are very interesting, and he knows his stuff. He is a great professor!

Dr. Varghese is a FANTASTIC professor. He made psychiatry so interesting, and really had great insight on all of the things he talked about. Very willing to help, very funny, very approachable. Dr. Varghese is hands down the best professor that BC nursing has. I feel so lucky I had the opportunity to be in his class. I had him for psych lecture and lab and I wish I could have him for every class. He cares a lot about every student. I really admire him.

Dr. Varghese is an excellent professor. He explains the content in ways that anyone can understand. As long as you attend class and pay close attention to his lecture, there is no reason to fail. Phenomenal professor!!! A real gem. He is brilliant and knowledgable beyond words in all specialities of nursing care, not just Psych. He can tell you anything about any disease or psych disorder. He is kind, considerate, and fair. Truly a wonderful professor and teacher. The nursing faculty could learn a thing or two from him, and should!!!

Profressor Varghese is one of the best professors at BC. Yes, you will have to study but hey this is nursing school, trust me he does what he cans to help everyone in his class. I would recommend him to every student. Love his class

He is a great teacher! The topics taught in class are very interesting. He uses personal stories which are helpful and ties in with the topics being taught. Tests are kinda hard but if you study hard then you should be fine.

Dr. Varugese is a genius. The best professor around. He cares for his students, has a passion for his subject, teaches clearly, challenges and encourages students as needed, and is hilarious! I would DEFINITELY recommend taking a psych class with him but don't let his friendly personality fool you, his IQ is high and exams are ridiculously hard!

Pros: Dr. V is a gentleman, a kind human, and a sincere mentor. One of the first professors that I've had that actually attempts to connect with his class in ways that are related to real life. I would recommend anyone take a class with him. Cons: He's a tough grader! Very extreme academic rigor and we need to read the entire book 6 times to pass.

I had him for clinical and theory. It has been quite an adventure. He knows his stuff when it comes to the diagnoses and has a lot of examples. You have to read the book and keep up with assignments. He cares about his students and wants them to do well. He is very respectful. He prepares you to critically think.

You need to read the book! The quizzes are very specific from the book (i.e., a word or sentence from the book). For the tests he gives a blueprint. If you study exactly what is outlined on the blueprint, including careplans, you will do just fine for the tests. Give yourself enough time to study and don't dismiss the class as an easy class.

Dr. Varghese offered the most intellectually demanding course I've taken at Broward so far. What you'll get out of his course depends on how much effort you put into it, and he encourages class participation. His lectures are interesting. His tests are difficult but fair. And class always ends late!! Lots of critical thinking involved.

This man is a PhD-prepared genius, caring, inspirational, intellectual, &cool guy! He is a "psych guru." Three got A; many got a B & C last sem. Unfortunately, some failed for the 3rd time and cursed his uncompromising academic standards. I agree. Run If you are multitasking & need an easy pass, stay if you want to learn. If you're talking about Varghese, He is a respected, empathetic, and helpful professor but you have to make an effort. This isn't an easy professor but he isn't impossible either. Professor V is a genius who works in the wrong place and teaches the wrong group of students. His critical thinking is not comprehensible to an average learner. The brighter ones get transformed through his mentorship, and the weaker ones struggle! Not a rude person at all! He is down to earth to people who can understand and learn from him.

I was scared to have professor Varghese for orthoneuro after reading some feedbacks from other students. I have to admit that his class is very hard and you have to study a lot, but it's worth it. Professor Varghese is amazing! What sets him apart is his energy and enthusiasm to teach. He cares for his student's and wants them to succeed.

Dr. Varghese is truly a valuable asset to Broward College. If you plan to take the NCLEX, you should know that expecting an "easy" professor will not lead to success. I wish he taught the orthoneuro course too. It's definitely demanding, but ultimately very rewarding. I don't understand why some people dislike such a straightforward and supportive professor. It feels like the world is losing its sense of ethics.

If you're looking to be inspired, work hard, learn how to critically think and earn your grade then he's the one! Reading is a must. He's straight forward and could come off as harsh, but he's just passionate and knows his stuff.
