Ms. Adams is hard but loves what she does and wants to have a positive influence on her students. Lots of writing in-depth papers!!! Read and partitpate in class discussions or you will fail!

I have had her for 3 english classes and she is the best teacher. She was my first professor when i started in summer of 04. She is very helpful and nice.

People who work and participate do really well in Adams' class. She's fun, challenging, and ...so don't take her if you're an idiot (like whoever that was who rated Adams just before me.) College isn't supposed to be easy, people.

Adams is tough but you'll learn a lot. Overall I felt that the class was well taught, and I really feel I learned so much from the variety of teaching tactics. Adams was a good teacher and so helpful. I really enjoyed this class.

She is a good teacher but some find her overly difficult. She offers a lot of constructive critisism on papers. If you are looking to improve your writing then take her class. If you are looking for an easy A don't. With lots of work you learn a lot. She is willing to help.

Great teacher!! She is willing to help you if you are willing to help yourself! If you are not willing to invest your time into the class you will not pass. But, if you are willing to work (you know, do the college stuff) and ask for help when you need it she is willing to help you. GREAT JOB B. ADAMS. I wish every teacher was like you.

I think Prof Adams is an excellent teacher. Yeah, shes tough, but that doesn't mean she sucks. Even though she and I probably disagree about some major stuff (politically, etc) she will set that aside and have integrity in grading and in the classroom. She will help you whenever you ask and she really is all about improving the students.

Ms. Adams is an excellent teacher! Beware if you aren't willing to put forth the effort to make a good grade in her class. If you don't try, you will fail horribly, and it will be all your fault. Her class is always enjoyable, and she helps anyone who is willing to help himself. Also, Ms. Adams is witty and never fails to put a smile on my face. :)

Very helpful, nice teacher. She's tough. Don't expect an easy A, or even a passing grade if you suck or don't do the assignments, but she is fair and will allow rewrites of papers for 1/3 more credit and isn't so strict about attendance after the withdrawal date (but don't push her...). Also probably the sexiest teacher at West Georgia.

Ms. Adams is a wonderful teacher. She may be hard on the whiny little freshmen, but how else can they learn. Get her for Brit Lit and you will love her. Besides that, she is incredibly hot in her jeans on Fridays!

Very into her material. Interaction is of the utmost of importance. If you don't read then you will fail the quizzes and class will be terribly boring.

She is a great teacher, and very easy to understand. Essay topics are sometimes hard to write on, but overall she is good teacher who is confident in her lectures.

* She starts of with short stories and get into novels. *The quizzes are extremely easy if you've read the materials. *Come to class a lot of the analysis in your papers will come from the lectures.*Take good notes, she writes on the board. *Do the pre-writings so you can get feedback. *She allows for revisions on papers. *You must put in effort.

She's really nice and her discussions are always interesting, but she goes strictly by MLA guidelines and the reader's resource book, but if you turn in your pre-writing early she really helps you out...I went from a whole letter grade of improvement because she basically tells you what you need to say in the feedback

Took Adams for Brit Lit; she's nice and know what she is talking about. Very interesting, easy assignments and fair grading. Midterms and finals are super easy, straight from the class notes. Absolutely wonderful professor, definently take her.

Shes really easy to understand and really puts things into perspective, essays are fair, tests mainly from notes off board, have to go to class, but its easy to sit through, definitly reccommend

All the people saying that she was a hard grader or a hard teacher, obviously doesn't know how to do their work. Even when I messed up on a few grammar things in papers, I got an A. As long as she sees your efforts,you'll do great!! I loved her & would take her again! Shes funny & down to earth & class is actually fun! :)

The best teacher I have ever had. I would take her again, no question about it. She is tough and has high standards, but is more than willing to help you in any way possible. Gives a lot of useful feedback and is very encouraging. If you don't want to work, don't take her class, but if you're actually there to learn, she's the best.

I've been lucky enough to sit in four different classes instructed by Professor Adams and I wish I could take more of her classes! She is an awesome instructor and truly great at what she does! Show up, do the work, and don't let your phone go off, you'll be good!

My favortie English teacher EVER!! She is truely amazing and has made me love English! She is very helpful on the papers. Yes she grades them fairly strictly but she tells you in great detail what she expects! She lets you send it a pre writing early for feedback. It's very helpful! Just pat attention and do what she says and you'll be just fine!!

I had her for multiple classes and she is AWESOME. She explains everything CRYSTAL clear the first few days and as long as you follow the ENGLISH DEPT guidelines, getting an A in the class is easy as pie. Also, it helps that she's incredibly funny and beautiful.

this class has four papers, and 1 in-class essay. She isnt really hard.but Its not an easy class but the other people must be retarted because she lets you take the highest of you in-class essay and you dont even have to take the last one if you did good on the first 1 & she talks about all the books,u jus have to pay attention & there is ur paper.

She talks about the books she practically tells you what to write about! and unlike other classes she allows you to take the highest inclass essay! you have 4 papers and an in-class essay she is a great teacher and if you pay attention your fine

I did not really need this course and after the first paper I DEFINITELY wanted to drop it... however I couldn't so I stuck it through. She is a very very VERY hard grader... She is super nice but super tough! AND DON'T BE LATE... EVER!!!!!! You best be an English major and ready for toughness if you're going to take this course.

I attended every class, went to tutors, read every book, became friends with her, enjoyed everything we did in class, and got a C. She's amazing, but hard.

Great teacher. Come to class and write down what she puts on the board. You can write your entire paper from what she puts on the board. Longest paper we write is 5 pages. Very helpful. Very nice. Lets you out of class early a lot.

She is an amazing teacher and is very very helpful. Everything she puts on the board write it down-the papers come straight from there. However unless you are an english major I would not recommend her, she grades very hard and will tear your paper apart. Be careful.

Dr. Adams is extremely helpful if you attend office hours. She is very difficult but with dedication and visits to the writing center you will do fine in the class.

Professor Adams is a very challenging 1101 professor. I worked my butt off for a C and devoted 99% of my semester to this class. Grading guidelines do not seem to follow that of the other English 1101 Professors but more upper level. English Majors? This class will challenge your intellect. If you're just trying to get an A switch out immediately!

I took Professor Adams for both 1101 and 1102 and she was a GREAT professor. She is very helpful and as long as you do the readings she asks for and show up for class you will do fine! She is wonderful!

Adams is great. Anyone who says otherwise is just a bad writer. It's not her fault you don't know how to write. She will help you, but ultimately it's your work that gets the grade.

Professor Adams is a nice woman overall, but she seems to grade based on her own rubric. The class felt like a middle- or high school-level class, which made it boring. However, she is willing to help you when you ask for it.

Adams is one of the best professors I had at West Georgia. She is kind of tough, but if you ask for help or go to her in the writing center she will do everything to help you get an A. She pretty much gives you what to write on in class and she is super nice

Her women's lit class was very interesting and she was reasonable in her expectations. Her "toughness" is reasonable for the course level--others may be easier or harder. But her class is interesting and she seems to value student opinion, but not to the point where it is only class discussion. I would definitely recommend her.

Super super easy! Great teacher, loved her class! Pay attention in class and show up, if you follow what she teaches & do the work, you should at least make a B. Ask questions if you have any. Overall, a great teacher!

She is the best English professor at UWG. Take her for 1101 & 1102. She's going to cancel every class but she's a great professor.

She is a knowledgeable and caring teacher who gives great lectures/notes. But I would not take her again because she constantly cancelled class, for legit reasons but still annoying. We missed 1/3 the semester and had no syllabus or schedule for 1/2 the class. Would take again because she's easy but this was beyond frustrating.

Professor Jett is a great professor and seems to know her stuff. She gives great feedback on your draft so it is really easy to get a really good grade on your essay because she tells you what to fix. Grade is dependant on attendance so make sure you show up.

Contract grading so its an easy A. Basically just do the work and youll make a good grade. Shes very nice and understanding if you miss an assignment. Cancels class a lot

Dual-enrolled with her my senior year of HS for 1101 after Payne failed me my soph. year. I made an A on every paper, and overall a perfect 100 in the class. She does her best to make the material interesting and doesnt expect you to just KNOW what she's saying. Show up, play on your phone, tune in here and there, and you have a great time + grade.

Professor Adams was the most helpful and kind professor I've encountered so far in my education. She made sure to give clear feedback with every assignment, has very lenient with due dates, and is more than understanding when a student is doing well in class. She responds/grades quickly and the work we do helps in our careers, regardless of major.

It is so evident this professor cares about her students. She is so kind and offers as much help to her students as she can. She gives great feedback on essays. The workload is not too heavy at all. I would take this class again if I could.

Professor Jett is one of the most caring and understanding teachers out there. She listens to students feedback and applies them to the course. She provides feedback on all your assignments so you're not left feeling lost. Attendance does matter but she is lenient with the,. Wonderful professor wish I could take her again.
