Prof. Cross is a fantastic professor overall. She is very clear with instructions for assignments as well as her grading criteria. Also, she's pretty attractive. Will definitely hold your attention a lot longer than the average professor.

She is a wonderful and marvelous professor! As long as you pay attention you will be more than prepared for the final exam.

Prof. Cross is amazing! Her lectures are quite long I admit but she keeps you engaged through her personality and humorous sarcasm (and I'm someone who usually falls asleep in class). Her assignments are clear and the class is passable as long as you go to class and do the essays she assigns. Highly recommend her!

Awesome professor! Professor Cross is hilarious and kept me entertained throughout the entire semester. You get to pick your topics, but if you're going to pick one of the typical topics she expects you to really educate yourself on it. Show up, participate in class, and ask for help if you need it. Highly recommend!!

I am so happy I took Professor Cross this semester. She is very funny, and makes every bit of class intriguing. I have really learned in her class as well, she does not just give you your grade, she will give you constructive feedback so you can do better. She does fun activities during the semester, if you love writing take her class.

The work for this class was a total of 2 essays that were broken down by thesis, draft, then final essay (4 page min), 3 summaries (less than a page), a quiz (5 questions), and the final. She was very clear in what she wanted making it easy to get an A. She was also very responsive and helpful through the entire course.

This is the best professor I've ever had. I've learned so much out of this class. I don't think I've ever learned this much in an English class either. She is amazing and outstanding. Very nice and gives amazing feedback. Tells you what you should fix and literally gives you the "answers" to your final essays and tells you what you should change.

This professor is hands down amazing. This class was the only class I least stressed out about. Taking her for summer is better I believe bc in a short amount of time you get fewer assignments & essays are shortened. We only had 3 essays & they were very interesting & not boring. I never loved writing but I enjoyed it in this class.

I love Prof. Cross. You WILL walk out of her class learning so much. Her feedback for essays are great and it helps so much, she goes into good detail. Take her and you will love this class. No tests.. well for the summer term. Idk about the other semesters. But this class is easy anyways, and she makes it better. She is also beautiful :)

Prof Cross is very funny and knows so much about any topic you may throw at her. She gives great criticism and examples to help you be a better writer. Her class is simple because she doesn't make you write 10 essays like most English classes, but make sure to give quality work! She even has office hours and time in the writing center if needed.

Professor Cross is great, she gives detailed feedback and is very helpful. Her teaching is one of the best so far super easy to understand. As long as you turn everything in on time and try you should get an A. She grades really quick. She does her best to help everyone do their best on their work. Gives a list of all your assignments on 1st day.

I have taken Prof. Cross's class for both comp 1 and 2 and I do not regret it at all. She really makes you think about what you want to write about and always makes you WANT to write about something you have passion for. Overall she's clear on what she wants and is always available to help. If you do not agree maybe its because you never ask her.

Shes very sweet and gives great feedback on your essays. She does give many lectures and can be a tough grader on some papers but its all to help you in the end. The lectures also help you do better on your papers. Overall recommend.

Professor Cross is a good teacher. She definitely helps when you attend her office hours or go have a quick conversation after class. She's good but can be extremely sarcastic at times. Her comments can be rude and unnecessary at times. It is a class where it's you working more than her. She asks you questions in hopes that you learn or know.

Her class was one of the easiest English classes I took, i mean that in a respected way. She gives great feedback in what she wants you to improve in each essay and is also very good at explaining what exactly shes looking for in your essay. Her essays assigned are short so She grades a little harder, but tells you your exact mistakes to improve.

She is really fun. makes you engage with the other students so that you help each other with each essay. Essays where easy, nothing you have to do extra research for. she is not tough grader but will care about grammar and common mistakes when writing. Final exam was an essay. easy peasy

Professor Cross cares about her students. She goes over homework and is clear with what is due. She gives plenty of time for homework and will meet you outside of class if you need extra help. She communicates with students & every time you walk in class she asks how you are doing and if you're hanging in. I am taking her again for freshmen comp 2.

She was alright. You can tell she is passionate and interested in her job. She is a semi- tough grader with essays but she elaborates why she gives you the grade that she did. There are 2 big essays and drafts to clear things up and other smaller assignments but she only goes ham on grading when it comes to essays. Despite this, I got an A on both.

I took her online class and you had at least one assignment a week which isn't too bad. She does make you work for your grade, good feedback but harsh grader. I took her because my friend recommended her... nothing like what she experienced. Shes very picky on your choice of topic and limits what you can talk about. dont do the work and youll fail.

She is decent. She lectures a lot and the whole class about nothing really. I feel like she expected too much for her essays but as long as you put in some effort you'll pass. Also she is annoying by grading you drafts. Makes no sense because obvioulsy its not done yet. She expects you to read the textbook also but don't buy it.

I took mixed mode class and it was very good. You will have only 2 papers (5-6 pages) and homework. You will do all your assignments at home. She is an easy grader, gives you good feedback and some extra credits, accepts late work, has clear syllabus and grading criteria. It is an interesting class and you will get an easy A.

I really enjoyed taking prof Crosss class. If you pay attention and follow assignment outlines then youre sure to pass. Shes very understanding, intelligent, and gives reading material that really makes you think.

I love her! She was my favorite professor and I took her for comp 1 and 2. She is super intelligent and helpful. She would explain why you received each grade and was a fair grader. She lets you submit your full essay for your rough draft and will critique it so when you actually submit it, it is perfect. She always keeps us up to date on news.

This professor is great. I took her for online freshman comp 2 and her feedback was great. There were a lot of papers to do but you get to choose what you write about which made it better. I would definitely take her again.

Professor Cross is easily my favorite professor at Valencia. I took her for ENC1101 and ENC1102. She is such a kind person and it shows through her feedback. Her grading is very fair and she gives paragraphs of feedback to make sure you can make your essay the best it can be. I 100% recommend taking her course you definitely won't regret it.

This class was extremely easy if you really just follow the directions of the assignments. I always got As on my essays with extremely GREAT feedback from Prof. Cross. I would HIGHLY recommend new college students to take her for ENC 1101. I might just see if she teaches other subject just because I stan harder than before!

Take this class, you won't regret it! Her lectures are not boring (which is rare for English) and all of the assignments were pretty straightforward. As long as you show up to class (mixed mode) and do all of the assignments, it's basically impossible to fail the course.

Take this class with her. She was so nice and understanding. She gives such clear instructions and feedback. She knows exactly what questions to ask to get the information or response she wants. She graded in less than 5 days. I did not require the book to take her class. She was very encouraging and pushed me to be better and learn more.

Usually just some paper on an article she provides or prep for your essays. 2 research essays, u pick ur topic. gives 2week for them.good feedback that actually helps rewrite ur final draft. got A's on both. final is easier than the essays. no extra credit tho, but easy to get full points on assignment

Bonnie Cross is one of those professors you'd like to take if you want a good laugh in the classroom. There are only 2 big essays (5-6 pages) and a couple of short 2-paragraph assignments. There is no midterm and the final is only 3 paragraph essay based on 2 sources. To pass this class, understand MLA and APA citations and do your work.

there's one person clearly pissed and writing a bunch of bad reviews. she's an awesome teacher that may grade your essays slightly rough, but all the other assignments are super easy and you're almost guaranteed to get a 100 on them. she gives great feedback to help with your next essay and its super easy to pass with her. final is also super easy

Be prepared to write 2, 5 to 6 page papers.

Professor Cross is wonderful. Even though I wasn't really interested in her lectures, she did makes us write these stories beforehand that peaked my interest in class. She's very caring and will do her upmost best to bring you into a conversation or try to understand you.

She's very kind and wonderful. I enjoyed going into her class every time we had to meet because she was my only professor that told me about what was going on in the world. Her assignments are easy and if you do put effort you're guaranteed at least a 90 or above. She's very honest and tries her best to include students into conversations.

Took her online, and it was the most easy class i took. Assignments are not complex. Just do the work. When it comes to receiving feed back its important to revise because she pays attention to that. I am not the best writer, but i took her advise and i have an A. TAKE HER ONLINE IF YOU"RE NOT LAZY. Its a good amount of work load.

I highly recommend taking Dr.Bonnie Cross. She helps you get better with your writing and gives great feedback. Her essays were not hard at all and she responds pretty quickly to emails. She grades pretty fairly in my opinion and her Final is 4 pages on a topic you choose. I passed with an A and did it online. also offers extra credit at the end.

She will help you with anything you ask her with regards to the class, she is not looking for perfection, she is looking for the reflection that you worked on your essay, entertaining class, it is not just reading, some homework was writing about a very entertaining game. I recommend her 100%. Make yourself a favor and take her class.

I took Intro to Lit and as an English major I am satisfied with the diversity and knowledge provided. The work was understandable and minimal and classes were used as discussion time for what we had read. I appreciate the structure and accessibility of the course. Be prepared for some tangents and retelling of stories. overall sweet and easy course

Her class is pretty easy as long as you stay on top of assignments. Most work is reading and writing short paragraphs. There are 3 short essays (2-4 pages), and she gives a lot of feedback on those. Grading is more serious for the essays, but overall, I'd recommend her and would take her again

Professor Cross was amazing! She was clear with grading. She gives extra credit and is a very interactive teacher. Although, I feel like her class should be taken online. No reason to drive to campus for her class even THOUGH SHES GREAT!!!! just take that into consideration.

She was a very nice teacher! The class was easy and there was not a lot of homework to do. Majority of it was reading and writing paragraphs that were just answering questions about the readings. There were a few essays around 3-4, they were pretty easy and she gave great feedback that was easy to apply back to your work.

Professor Cross is great, I had her for both freshman comp classes. She gives really good feedback, so you can always do better the next time you try. She gives 48hr extensions on most assignments except the final. She also uses relevant topics, so you're usually not reading something really old. Really recommend her

Professor Corss was a great teacher. She hands out a lot of work but it's all generally easy as long as you read what needs to be done clearly. Her lectures are okay, they get you through and she often puts you in groups so be prepared to talk to random people every week. Overall she's a great professor.

Her course consisted of assignments for readings (usually a few paragraphs) and essays, and she normally gave detailed feedback on said essays and assignments.
