Bonnie Homan is one of the worst instructors at SFSU. Due to grad students she is not teaching grad courses anymore. Very rude, primitive, hates women, likes to humiliate, comes to classes unprepared, homework is unclear. Try to avoid her classes.

She was always unprepared for class and the quizes. If you had a question good luck getting help or an answer. Very rude and cruel. Doesn't teach she simply reads the slides and soes the same exercises as her 263 class. She expects you to learn Access from the book so she does not teach it in class! She does a very quick run through 1 time.

Worst teacher I ever had! All comments posted are 100% true, she doesn't teach anything, is rude and cruel. And don't bother to ask her questions unless you want to feel humiliated. All I learn so far is self-study from the book, so just buy a used copy of textbook n attempt the waiver exam n save your precious time!

she's is the worst teacher ever. if you ask her a question, she will put u down, and yell at you for asking because she thinks you did not pay attention. she always tells you to go to lab hours. i got 760 points out of a 1000 and that averages out to a c. but in the end i got an F because she weighs everything. hard to understand it.

All students who need isys 263 i recommend taking it at CCSF, over there its CNIT 100 (very easy less work & got a B). This teacher is rude & if you ask her for help she tells you to go talk to the Grad student or makes you feel stupid for not knowing that. Too much work & hw takes too much time.

very rude. not at all helpfull. she makes you feel dumb, if you go to her office hours. delegates everything to her grad student, who is equally rude and non-helpfull. she needs to be fired!

She is rude, unhelpful, impaitient, boring, and unknowledgeable. I guess she does not follow the latest information technology. For example, even though text book has renewed but she gave us a quiz from ex-text book which are old information.

Do not take her class. She is useless.

She is the worst teacher on this planet. They seriously need to fire this woman. Shes rude (id like to call her something else but I'll refrain), unhelpful, and a bad lecturer. During a quiz, I attempted to ask her to clarify a question and she goes, "it means what it means go back to your seat" She'll make you feel stupid if you ever ask for help.

I couldn't even make it through her 50-minute orientation. I've worked in IT for several years, and the only "understanding" you'll receive from the course is antiquated, pseudo manager-speak. Also, it's ludicrous to ask students to get multiple books, PLUS pay over $100 in academic web licenses for simple form-based quizzes. I'd rather not.

I really get the feeling that Prof Homan hates teaching, and takes out her frustration on her hundreds of students. When I asked her for help on a problem in person she was sarcastic, rude, and dismissive. The online portions of the class were poorly developed and implemented, and the schedule often changed without much notice.

The worst teacher I've ever had! She is bitter and unwilling to help students. I suggest taking another teacher for this class.

She is a horrible teacher. Her teaching still is low and don't like to help her sutdent at all. Her grading is very confusing because she never showed the right answer to you after you take the quiz and exam, also myitlab.

This class's misterm and final are quite hard, and hardly related to the previous iLearn quiz. Moreover, the online quizs are limited in few miniutes to do. She is not nice and no ifs. you could take any other instructors'class, but dont think about hers.

Depend on yourself for understanding of the technical terms you will learn. Excel parts are easy, but the book-based quizzes are quite difficult, as is the final. Besides some excel functions, you will likely not retain any of the information you tried to absorb for the tests.

She does not like to teach at all! She does not take her responsibility. Never take her class. Just waste your time and money.

Horrible teacher as all have stated. She is just waiting for a student to post something on the class forum that might be considered a reason to give an F. Has no heart when you see her in person to talk about why you got an F. Passed class, never showed up, a monkey could teach this class as good as her. Easy class, horrible teacher and hard tests

worst professor i've ever had. avoid at all costs. she is genuinely interested in the topic, but doesn't know how to teach. she is in no way compassionate for her students or anybody for that matter. take the class and pass it, with no help from her. if you miss any test or even show up to the wrong one, it's an automatic fail. good luck.

Rude mean lady who does not care about her students. In her lectures she talks down on her students and is not very helpful at all. Not an ounce of kindness in this professor. Worst teacher at sfsu i ever had.

You MUST read the book for this class! Questions for the exams&quizzes are all straight off textbook. The tests are hard, since she selects random lines from the text and uses it on the exam. That means you will need to remember all the little details of the book! Her lectures are useless, so you don't need to watch it.

For a teacher in computer sciences this teacher couldn't figure out how to work iLearn or her computer for most lectures, so off the bat not a good sign. She lectures on the previous week's homework which makes lectures a waste of your time because if you did the homework you know the content.

Ive recently taken this class online and I am dissatisfied with the teacher. when I asked for help shed short answer me to the point where Id feel like she doesnt want to help me. She takes about 2 to 4 days to reply to emails, and when She does reply shes seems annoyed that Im asking for help. Her notes never match the test either.

I can't believe she's still teaching at SFSU. I took her class back in 1995 and I thought she was the worst teacher in the CIS department. I didn't learn a thing in her class. I feel sorry for the students who didn't know who she was and took her class. As I read the reviews here, i could feel they were going through the same pain that I did.
