Great teacher...A+!!! very clear about what she expects of her students and she even has a great sense of humor, which can be hard to find with some professors... always available for extra help if u ever need it... Overall awesome teacher!!!!!

mrs.kesler is not an easy professer but she is a good professor. Her exams can be somewhat difficult (vocabulary used) but she gives a study guide before every exam. If you pay attention during lectures then you will learn alot

Great teacher, very clear on her deadlines. She even gives a study guide before each test. And the free response question is 5 pts. extra credit, so that's an automatic grade boost just for doing it on the test.

Kesler, is an excellent teacher. This class is very interesting. I am not even a psychology major, but for a moment I considered changing. This class is very informative. You will leave out of the class knowing more than ever. 2 papers are required, but they are not that hard. 5 exams, but the last one is an option. Very knowledgeable.

Such a fun teacher! She is very laid back and approachable and has open class discussions. Her tests were fairly easy as long as you study and assignments were interesting. She reminded me of my best friend and I want to borrow her clothes.

You definitely have to study for her class, but she is such a fun teacher! She seems a bit wacky, but knows her stuff and brings it to life for her students.

I would recommend this teacher to everyone. She is very knowledgable about psychology and is keeps the class intersting through out the semester.

Mrs. Kesler is such an awesome teacher! You must study for the tests (she gives study guides) in order to pass them. Everything on the study guides are on the test, no surprises. Only one major paper to do. Just pay attention and study the book and you will do fine. I got an "A" but I had to really work for it. Way cool teacher, would take again.

I've taken her for General Psych., and I liked her so much I'm taking her for Abnormal Psych. Great teacher, is kind of on the strange side, especially when it comes to fashion. The tests are challenging, but if you do the studying, you WILL pass with an A or B. I especially liked the essay (more like a paragraph or two) question bonuses.

Tests are really easy as long as you pay attention and she gives lots of opportunity for extra credit. She is a sweet person and I definitly reccommend her. Mrs.Kesler is awsome! She doesn't give homework assignments, but if you study for her test they are very easy! I would recommend her only if you go to class everyday because she takes off points if you miss a day and it makes the test easier when you show up and listen!

Mrs. Kessler is a wonderful teacher. Yes you have to study for exams, but this is college people! I knew nothing about psychology before this class but studied and made an A. She makes the subject interesting. Take her if you want to learn. I can see how she could be a little intimidating to some people, but in all reality she's a nice person.

Mrs. Kesler is great! If you show disrespect and slack in her class she will not go out on the line for you... act like your in college and this class will be fun and easy! Study guides are useful and always try to do the extra credit, it can make a letter grade difference!

Mrs. Kesler is a great teacher & will help you if you ask. She is very strict on attendance especially on test day. Usually no make up tests unless you have a very good reason 4 missing the test. However she gives 5 tests & uses the highest 4 scores so its no big deal. Reading the book is important for tests. Great Teacher, Highly recommend her!

Prof. Kesler is great! She makes class very interesting, time goes by fast. Attendance and tardiness is important (bring absent or late is disrespectful). Provides extra credit. Drops lowest exam grade. Make sure you're on her good side!

Her lectures were easily understood. Test are multiple choice and not cumulative. 90-100% of the test material is covered in class. Two short papers. Grading on bell curve

She made the class fun and I found her to be nice. If you are rude or a lazy student you will end up dropping the class. I got an A, do the papers and you'll do fine in the honors class

I took this class honors. So easy, just writting short papers, as long as you have more than one source you'll get atleast a 9/10. Do your work, show up, and don't annoy her. You'll have an A easy. ONLY TAKE HONONRS, regular class is terrible... or so I hear

I really enjoyed her class. Her lectures are very animated and she keeps your attention. I learned a lot in this class and it sparked my interest in Psych. Geting an A isn't too hard, but requires some effort. The tests can be hard, so DO NOT MISS REVIEWS. It will save your grade. If I still had a requirement for one of her classes I'd take it.

Professor Kesler is great, her exams are challenging, because you have to "THINK", but she gives you very easy writing assignments and plenty of extra credit. Some people expect to go in the class and text and get a "A". It doesn't work that way. I loved her teaching techniques. Half the class don't show up, guess those r the ones with :('s

NE1 who says shes hard or rude ust didnt pay attention. no1 likes being asked the same questions over & over. She is a great teach, wish I could take her 4 all psych classes. she is fantastic the class is interesting and fun she is fair and i enjoyed taking her class she is the best teacher that i've had yet.

Professor Kesler is pretty awesome. She understands the class is a requirement and makes it easy to get an A. Spend a little time on the papers and show up to class and you should be fine. The in-class review prior to the test date is the same as the exam, and I was able to get by without the book.

Great Professor, there are 5 papers to write (grades easy), and lots of extra credit. Test are hard but she does give you a review which is the actual test. I like her inspite of what every stats below. So if you dont want to work or learn she would not be the professor for you. She learns your name quick and takes attendence a few times.

Kesler is a pretty easy teacher. She is serious about the due date unless she states otherwise. A couple of chances to get extra credit. Very laid back and fun teacher. It is best to study on your own and not depend on lectures.

She makes it interesting and fun. She is strict about deadlines for papers, offers extra credit opportunities. Lots of stuff to cover and she goes through it very quickly. She gives you Exam Review sheets and then reviews the exam in class prior to taking it. She loves what she is doing and it shows. Show up do the work and you will do well.

This teacher was great, shes on her game her class i wouldnt say is easy but she gives you all the tools you will need to pass the fact i got a C is shameful just make sure to not miss one project she uses a point system. She was so good she has me considering taking the next psy class she got me intrigued and she does study abroad to Ireland.

Great Professor!Makes it all very interesting. Good lectures and lively discussion. Sticks to deadlines but then that's just good preparation for the real world. Get your work in on time. Not super easy but if you do the work and come to class you can get an A or B. Take this class!

This teacher is fabulous, she makes the class interesting and informative. She is fair and does have high expectations. I get the feeling that some people expect an easy A out of classes of this type but she expects a reasonable amount of work done and done right. Highly recommended.

Very nice lady and she helps her test are hard and she use to let u look at your test but since someone cheated on her test she is no longer allowing you too look over her test anymore. She is a nice lady and funny at times.

Prof Kesler is great! She is extremely down to earth. There are 3-4 papers that are super easy with directions that are very clear. There are also 4-5 tests that are always given on the second class day of the week. The first class day of the testing week she gives you the test to study from. Do what she says and it's an EASY A!!

Come prepared to learn! Keeps you engaged and makes even the mundane requirements interesting. Be willing to put in the time and you come out not only with a great grade but some knowledge! Would def take her again!!

The only thing that is semi hard about her class is her tests, but if you listen to her lectures and take notes, you will pass. She isn't that big on attendance, and actually takes the time to learn her students names. Love her teaching style, she makes everything interesting and engages the class. I've taken two of her classes, and if she taught more, I'd take every one. The best psych prof at SPC. You will learn so much. She makes you think, not memorize. If you are at all serious about your psych classes, take her. She truly cares about her students and it shows.

The class was not easy. You have to attend class and take notes. She had two study groups per week on Mondays andWednesday. I was the only one that showed up. She offers extra credit and homework throughout semester which do pay off in the end. I definitely recommend you use study guide that comes with the book. Do all assignments. I got an A.

I took her for Honors General Psychology and Regular Abnormal Psychology. She is a phenomenal teacher. She gave us multiple choice tests in the Abnormal Psychology with extra credit built in each one. She gave us a term paper as well and was very clear about what she wants in everything. She offers multiple extra credit assignments. They are very simple. She assigns a few homework assignments as well. She gives out Study Guides for each test. She is more than willing to answer any student question and work with you about any issue. I'd take her again! Her lectures are stimulating and interesting and she welcomes input. As long as you pay attention and go over the material you will for sure get an A.

I loved her class! It wasnt borig lectures and she gets the message clear accross! if you come to class and put in effort you will pass! she gives 4 exams throughout the semester but you dont technically have a midterm or final. If you fail it was because you didnt come to classstudy

She was willing to give help if you came to her. She used to go to labs two times a week but no one showed up so now by appt only. She is an easy grader and grades quickly and on time. She is very helpful if you need it and lenient on due dates. Not many tests and no real final. She is very passionate about what she does.

I was in her honors course and it was amazing! no tests, open discussions and a quick paper due very week or so. She has an awesome personality and is super nice. Would love to take her again.

She is such a nice and helpful lady. She had notes online and you use the book everyday. She is very clear on assignments/papers. Her tests were all scenarios and how you would apply it. So it can be hard for others who are used to just memorizing the vocabulary terms. If you come to class, pay attention and study. You'll pass.

I took for her intro to psychology and passed with a 96%. She gives you study guides before each test that you can fill out and answer. She also gives you the essay questions that will be a part of the test. They're optional but give you up to 5 extra points on your test, which was the difference between a B and an A for me. Great all around!

Prof. Kesler rounded up our grades, so if you had a 79.3%, she would give you an 80% to get you to a B. Her lectures are pretty easy to follow in class, and are not boring, as she does a good job keeping the class engaged. She does get reviewed for her tests being difficult, but they're not. I took Mrs. Kesler for general and abnormal psychology, and I absolutely adore her classes. She's passionate about anything psychology, and her friendly, down-to-earth personality make the lectures interesting and fun. Work through the study guides and you will get an A on the tests.

I had Mrs. Kesler over the summer. I think she is amazing and the only thing I can really say is be prepared to study your ass off for the exam if you want an A. Her exam study guide doesn't cover everything that's on the exam. Other than that she is an absolute gem! Loved her class.

Only a few papers to write and some discussions, but most of it doesn't require research. Mostly just analyzing. If you communicate with her, she will help. If you don't, then don't complain. If you pay attention during the lecture and engage, you will pass.

The hype is real. Difficult, but if you can do the work, you'll love the class. Is busy in and out of class, so don't share stories while she's giving a lecture, but if you have a legitimate question, she'll be glad to answer. Notes are critical. Papers are 5 pages minimum, so start early. I also had her for Gen Psyche. 9/10 Would take again.

Professor Kesler was an amazing teacher. You can tell she really loves the subject she teaches about and wants others to feel comfortable with the material. She uses a lot of real world examples in her lectures and shows some very relevant video clips - some I will still reference today. Overall, I alway tell folks to take her class!

Professor Kesler is amazing when it comes to providing real world examples regarding the content and concepts covered in class. She says at the beginning of her class that her exams contain questions regarding the content but I found the exams to be very straightforward. Not too much homework but the assignments were easy.

I took her for Abnormal Psychology and got an 88 in the class. The textbook isn't really necessary because we don't have to go home and read chapters. But I highly suggest getting it because many questions on the test aren't on the study guide and I only knew them because I read the chapters before the test. She makes the class fun and is awesome!

Professor Kelser is awesome. There is a lot of writing in the class but the assignments are fun. There are 6 topic papers, journal critique, book report, service learning, and a research paper. If you do the work you will pass! She loves what she does and her lectures are so fun and amazing - lots of personal stories. Definitely take her!

I really enjoyed taking her Psychology class this semester. There is a lot of reading but the information is very interesting. Also, there will be many discussions that are fun. This class makes you really thing which I really found exciting. Also she is very easy to reach if you have any questions. She cares a lot about her students.

Took professor Kesler for multiple courses & Peer Tutoring and Proctoring under her mentoring. Her test may seem hard to find 1 answer but she is looking to see your understanding of the subject matter as well. Be interactive in the course with her. She is VERY knowledgeable. Psychology is understanding people and behavior and she knows it well.
