Wow... Bonnie is no joke. This class is definitely my most frustrating, most painful, hardest class I've taken so far at Ohio State. I want to pull my hair out on a weekly basis as I feel left out on my own in the cold. Bonnie is responsible and sharp, however expects FAR too much out of students. I do not suggest taking this course to anyone.

Had her for recitation and Christobek for lecture. I DEFINITELY recommend Christobek over her. Her recitations were of no relevance to Christobek's class. I never ONCE reviewed the HW problems and recitation problems she provided, as they just confused me more. Christobek clarified things in a much easier way. She was of no help to me in the class.
Take Christobek. I repeat, take Christobek.
I'm in Accounting 212 w/Kinard and Bus. Man. 330 is way harder and is more confusing. I dont know about the other profs., but I just know Bonnie's class is pretty tough.
This class requires alot of studying if you want to get an A or B. Course notes are clear but alot of information with concepts constantly building on top of one another. Practice test problems are what is going to be seen on the exams plus some confusing multiple choice. This is a STATS class not bus mgt. Every point ends up being really important
You will need to study very hard to do good in this class. If you don't, you'll get like a D or lower C, even fail. If you ask her something that you've learnt in Stats 133, she'll say, "You should have learnt that in 133..." Not a very nice teacher at tutoring. BUT sometimes, she is helpful and nice, so you should go to tutoring anyways.
She was mean to me when I asked for help....made me feel stupid...Up to you but Kriska was my lecturer and I would take him!
she's kinda condescending, and the lectures are BRUTAL. but she posts lot of practice problems and practice tests... if you keep up with them weekly instead of trying to cram you will be fine. she gives extra credit and 5-10pt curves on the exams. got an A with not alot of stress
By far my toughest class at OSU. She makes you work for it. The material is difficult and she wants you to know every little detail about it. If this is your only class then you might have time to study all of the material. She does have lots of practice problems. Lectures are horrible, I worked so hard just for a C+.

You don't need to go to lecture, except to turn in the homeworks, and to get key parts to the notes which she leaves out so that if you miss a lecture you're screwed.
AVOID this instructor. she is by far the worst instructor I have ever had. all she does is fill in the blanks for lecture notes without any clarity whatsoever. She breezes through all the material as if the students are business management experts. Her practice exams are nothing like the exams u end up taking. She is absolutely HORRIBLE.
Had her for recitation and Christobek for lecture. The difference was night and day. This woman does not know how to teach. Her recitations were absolutely useless and did not coincide with the lecture material at all. Definitely take Christobek so you only have her for recitation and you can just ignore everything she says in it.
I went in to that class with hope of learning more stats based topics. she turned my world upside down. her notes are extremely long and useless. she doesnt teach what she tests on the exams. Reading the book would be better, thats what helped me survive this class. Take someone else if u can.
This is a pretty tough course... Probably one of the hardest in Fisher. I am retaking it right now (with Kriska) and everything seems a lot easier. Schroeder moves pretty quickly through the material and the exams are a lot tougher than other professors. I highly suggest taking another professor for this course.
I had heard she is the worst professor ever and the class was extremly hard, but it really was nothing like that. I got an A with no problem. Bonnie is the fairest grader i have had yet. i slept or didnt even go to class and just studied the examples from lectures a few nights before the exams and did just fine
Hard to understand...got an A...rarely use book...boring at times but not as bad as everyone says...she should be a little more clear in lectures and talks about things you don't need to know
Very rude! I don't even know why she is teaching, she seems to hate helping students. Class is hard. It has nothing to do with the material it is just how she explains it and just to let you know I did attend every single class.
I found her hard to understamd and I also found her teaching to not apply to the test. Overall I struggled to learn in her classroom
She seems strict and not very warm in the classroom, but she is very nice & helpful if you go see her during the office hours. The material is a little difficult. But if you study, it's not bad at all. If you think this is one of the hardest classes at FCOB, you are in trouble because there are much harder classes waiting for you at senior level.
Extremely good teacher and willing to help if willing to act. The lab assignments can get pretty hard and timely. Overall, a good class and a good instructor.
Great Professor but make sure to go to class and review (and definitely take) notes. Problems on exams are much like problems in the notes. she is very thorough in her explanations, so if you dont get behind, her lectures are easy to follow and understand. I also never used the book
I never had Bonnie b/c I had the intolerable Kriska. His tests were harder and he acted mildly retarded. I attended the recitations for Schroeder b/c she knows what she's talking about and is pretty approachable.
This instructor takes material that is difficult for many students and makes it as difficult as possible. To me, it seems she is on a mission to create anxiety, stress and confusion among her students. It's really a shame as I'm sure she could make the material easier to learn for students if she wanted to.

All the rumors were true - extremely difficult course and useless teacher. She lectures as though a majority of the information is already common knowledge. Got behind early and made up for it by going through the rest of the quarter at an incomprehensible speed. Seems as though she cares but the course itself is pointless.
Shes a good teacher who trys to make sure everyone understands what she is doing. The course itself is very poorly structed (long lectures, no examples), so its a hard class. However, bonnie is by and far the best professor in this class.She trys to make things as understandable as possible, and is helpful and approachable. take her over the others
Bonnie is extremely helpful if you simply ask. Also, she is by far one of the fairest graders out there (gives partial credit and lot of EC). Definitely the best professor for the class, just go to class, pay attention, and ask a questions if you need. Also, put out your name tag during recitation for EC.
Very good teacher and very helpful to students. Gives a lot of partial credit on exams and also extra credit. Attendance is required in recitation, but not lecture. I would advise people to attend lectures or you will fall behind. If you pay attention and do practice problems, you will be fine in this class.
Most difficult class I have taken thus far. I have a 3.8 GPA, I am not slacker, but this class was hard. Bonnie is a decent teacher, material is just hard. Stay on top of the material and do not fall behind.
She is extremely monotone and boring. Listening to her for 2 hours WILL put you to sleep. The class is the most challenging class I've ever taken. STAY ON TOP OF IT! Do not expect to get much out of her either. This course is completely in your hands.
Boring material, boring class, arrogant teacher. Not a fun mix. Her lectures are very boring, notes are not very clear. She belittles you if you ask a question. It's not a fun environment. The exams are difficult, averages were always around 65-70%. At least you can work in groups for HW assignments and she gives a few extra credit assignments
Bonnie is a horrible instructor whose class is not only boring but notes are extrememly useless. You will not understand the notes if you try to go home and study them. She talks above you and exam averages were were between 65-70 and she blames the class for having such a combined low average. If you can avoid her class.
Bonnie is a sweetheart and really knows what she is talking about. This will be one of the toughest classes you will take as a business major regardless of whom your teacher may be. She is somewhat boring but very nice, helpful, and gives extra credit/partial credit. Go to lecture and keep up with the class because she goes quick.
Challenging and difficult class. Decent teacher, however just hard material. Take advantage of office hours and ask questions in recitation. Pay attention to small details. Decent amount of extra credit so go to class.

She is difficult. Her tests are very long. However, it is doable. Although the subject matter is hard, she bases tests and homework right out of examples/book (exams are predictable). So if you read the book, you'll be fine. She is a little unapproachable however. She looked annoyed every time I came to office hours.
This is one of the hardest professors i've ever taken. Her notes are pointless and her example answers online cover a lot of material that is not covered in class. You have no idea what is on the exam and all you can do is do the problems from the book. She also seemed very annoyed every time i asked her a small question in am email.
She is Awful. All I want to say is that I am very happy to be done with her. BTW midterms are cumulative, even though it says they are not in the syllabus.
She is awful. I e-mailed her because I couldn't see her during office hours so I wanted an appt and she responded back saying I was out of luck. She really is one of the hardest teachers I've ever taken and tries to cram so much into one lecture. You learn nothing.
Bonnie was the single worst teacher I've ever had. She's constantly telling people she doesn't have time to answer questions and her tests are ridiculously hard.
Class is do-able. Do actually read the text books and do problems, they will help. Attend office hours. You will get an A if you try. Exams are tricky, but curved.
she is such a hard teacher. her lectures are extremely drawn out, she goes very fast through a bunch of practice problems, and no one askes questions because no one even knows what to ask. i suggest studying for exams from the book. do the practice problems, her notes are pretty tough to teach yourself from.
Hardest class I have taken at OSU. Lectures are long, boring, and very complicated. It has gotten to the point where students don't even care anymore about the class. Bonnie is extremely nice, but seems to get easily frustrated when students ask questions (yet she encourages you to ask questions). Study, study, study, study, and oh yeah...study
A tough course, I NEVER give out 1's on difficulty level, but the top 50% get a B- or higher, so stay on or above the curve and you'll do fine... the Schroedster wasn't too bad, you'll know your stuff by the end of the quarter. Her notes are helpful if you feel like studying 300 pages of printouts from carmen
Tough class. I had no idea what we were doing most of the time and she seems to concentrate on one thing and test on another. If there was a scale it didn't help me. I had a C+ by the numbers and got a C+. Take another prof is possible,they are plug and chug, she's not. The book is a waste unless you're a book studier. Class is a req for the cases
Schroeder is no cake walk but I took this class with Park once before and prefer Schroeder. Bonnie is a clear lecturer and makes the material understandable but tests over something completely different than what we do in class. Exams are way too long. Be prepared for surprises- she stuck q's on the final from things we hadn't covered since week 2.
Material in this class makes absolutely no sense most of the time. Watch out for Schroeder's grading....I knew of at least five people who had to have their grades adjusted a couple of times. Hardest class I have taken
Mrs. Schroeder is not as crazy as everyone is talking about, She's fair when it comes to grading. Explanation of the course is very clear, but sometimes you have to do the extra work to understand it. Textbook is useless, don't buy it, just study from the handouts. Good luck!

Bonnie is a very kind and compassionate person; at first she may seem a little intimidating, but if you ask for help, she will help you to the best of her abilities. Her exams are very hard. She is a clear lecturer and very knowledgeable. Bonnie was one of my favorite teachers, although I thought the class was extremely difficult. Great lady!!
Mrs. Schroeder was a great professor. Very approachable & easy to ask questions & recitation was very helpful. Tough material which tends to give the prof a bad rap- don't think this is a class you can skip lectures on & still do well: attend lectures, do lecture problems and practice problems, ask questions when you need help and you'll do fine.

Very Knowledgeable but not a good teacher. Materials are given to you but are not explained very well. Must do practice problems and review notes regularly to do well. Quarter starts off easy but the pace of the class and amount of material you cover makes the class overwhelming. Do not take other challenging courses along with this class.
First you do not need the book for the class. Go to lecture and pay attention. Review your notes right before class so you dont fall behind. Pick a good partner for your Stattools and you will figure it out. I went in with the mentality that this class was hard an I got an A. Multiple choice end up being the hardest because they are theortical
Bonnie is awesome! She is very helpful and approachable. I didn't find her class that difficult. You will have to do the extra work and practice problems but it wasn't too bad. You will prob. struggle if you don't like math just because of the material. Overall Bonnie is amazing!
I loved Bonnie! 330 is definitely the course where students will blame the professor just because they are either lazy or skipping classes,etc. Go to lecture or you will be lost and take great notes or go to her office hours if you missed something. She's very clear, straight-forward, and willing to help. Take advantage of the resources she offers!
Bonnie is great. This class is not easy at all and you have to work for your grade. She has a very nice curve for this class and if you got to class and pay attention there is no reason you should get less than a b. Also the final is weighted very well, i had a b- going into the final and got a 98% on the final and got an A in the class.

While this class is very hard, she has been teaching it for a very very long time so she zips right through the lectures and overwhelms you with information then proceeds to ask for questions and you have no clue where to start. She is very smart so assumes people know right away what she explains. Very disappointed in this teacher
All these people are pretty condescending given they actually did well in Bonnie's class. She's a certifiable nightmare. Stay away from her.
Chapter ends when class ends and she expects you to solve the remaining probs. Her office hours are crowded and queries don't get attention. Lectures are so so so boring that you mostly fall asleep. 1st Midterm was extremely difficult. Statistics is much easier than what she explains in class. This professor will convince you to change your major.
Doesn't teach everything on her exams. Encourages people asking questions, but then treats you like you are stupid when you do ask. She is a pretty good recitation teacher, but a terrible lecturer.

Overall this class isn't that difficult if you keep up with the workload. Professor Schroeder is incredibly knowledgeable and willing to explain things in more depth. The exams are definitely fair and she gives multiple opportunities to earn >100%. My only complaint is StatTools assignments, which seem to be graded much harder than anything else.

Also she assigned grades completely different than the syllabus. UNFAIR BONNIE UNFAIR! When will she learn? There is a reason nobody likes you
Schroeder does not mess around. Her lectures are fast paced and if you don't pay attention you will miss a lot of important things. The material is not difficult to understand but it does require a lot of work outside of class to master it. The final exam is graded quite generously so read her notes and do practice problems and you'll get an A.

Not a bad professor. The material is hard and she doesn't print out the lectures for you. You're expected to bring them with you. Which wouldn't be so bad if each lecture wasn't close to 20 pages of powerpoint slides. Grades consist of homework and tests.
Terrible class but it's required. TAKE WITH SOMEONE ELSE. Mrs Schroeder makes her class MUCH more difficult than other 330 instructors do. Exams and group assignments are very difficult.
Bonnie has a really bad reputation because the material is extremely difficult but she has no control of that. She is a very nice lady and genuinely cares about students and their grades. Very helpful with questions and wants you to do well and succeed. Also a VERY generous grader. Don't miss a class and ask if you don't understand. Very fast paced
For those of you who rag on Bonnie, you're wrong. She does care about her students. She does her best so that everyone masters the material and does well. This is college, and this is a college course. The material is not that difficult, and simply requires a little time out of class to master. Take Bonnie, get your money's worth, learn something.

She has an attitude problem. She sounded sour when she told us she doesn't have Ph.D degree. I have asked for help but she didn't help at all. She talks without any punctuation. Instructions are very unclear. She doesn't really answer my questions.
She is very interested in helping her students to learn the material. Her slides however are terrible. Will state concepts but will hardly ever explain them. You must go do hw and study to learn those concepts. I would avoid and take Christobek for 330. Do practice problems and midterms before tests. 40 point curve on the final
Bonnie has a hard time with time management. She spends like 4 minutes on a slide about different amounts sold in each season, then when she realizes that class is almost over tries to cram in all the information that we actually need to know.
I heard a lot about Bonnie before taking her class. But I think if you go to the lecture and recitation, and you do all sample exams she gives to you, you will get a nice grade! It's hard at the beginning, but she explains clearly and you will be fine, trust me!

Lectures/slides are terrible/boring. She isn't very clear on assignments or on what is actually important to know, but she is nice and will never be rude. If you study really hard and do the handouts on Carmen, it isn't hard to get at least an A-, as the material really isn't that hard if you are smart enough to be able to teach yourself.
I think she is a great professor. I had a hard time with the class in the beginning because the material is a little difficult, but I started going to her office hours. She is so helpful and will never be rude to a student that wants to try. I thought she was a great professor.
Nice lady, but awful teacher. She tries to teach every detail of stats to students that aren't even stats majors. I would recommend taking someone else, but either way she makes the tests and everything. No one learns anything because it is way to much info to take in so everyone just fails all the test and they curve and you pass feeling dumber.
Terrible teacher. Exams are really hard and she uses lecture videos as the main lecture. Teaches material out of order so it's very easy to get confused. Avoid this teacher.

HORRIBLE, AVOID HER! The class in general is hard, however she makes it a lot harder! I would go to her office hours and I would come out even more confused than before. If you have to take her, do all of the practice problems because you're basically going to have to teach yourself. I would not wish her upon anyone!

She expects you to watch hours of videos before class, go to lecture, and sit in recitation for 2 hours every week and do the practice problems before class. She will tell you to drop the class if you can't handle it. Her expectations are unrealistic and she won't explain something in a different way if you don't understand the first time. Terrible
I think Bonnie knows what she's talking about and she's willing to help, but for some reason, whenever she talks, it's like she's reading off of a textbook. I don't think she's good at conveying the materials in a way that's comprehensible for her students. It's nice to have all those extra points on the exams..but trust me, you'll need them!
Bonnie has no clue how to communicate effectively. Her lectures teach you nothing and her exams are always a shock to most people. The case studies aren't the worst but she gives NO help with them. She missed a class then made her students drop the grade for the day. DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL
Bons is a rockstar. But also an awful teacher.
She is a pretty bad teacher; in lectures/recitation she mostly teaches through extremely detailed arbitrary examples, rather than explaining important concepts/ideas/methods. She relies heavily (like 3 hours a week) on online videos that teach you far more. It would be great if she switched the two around.
Be prepared to teach a lot of the material to yourself, because Bonnie is very vague. Knowledgeable, but lacks the skill to communicate it at all. The first test will slap you in the face by the way.
This class is tough. But not as tough as people make it sound. It's not a breeze, but if you put in the work then not that hard to get a good grade since she rescales the grade distribution at the end of the semester. She does seem scatterbrained in her thoughts and never finishes lectures all the way through though.
Class certainly isn't a walk in the park, but as far as lecturers go, Mrs. Schroeder is excellent! Almost all of the content can be reviewed via the online lectures at your leisure, she walks through relevant examples, and she provides practice problems if you want to practice on your own. Expect to work hard, plan on attending every lecture.
She brought in Oreos and didn't even let us have any.
Hardest teacher yet, hour and half lecture, hour and half recitation and if you were to factor in all the videos, quizzes problems online and LONG cases it takes over 10 hours per week outside of class, if you can avoid her DO IT, multiple people talked about suicide in this class rough!!!!
Bonnie is very uninterested in the student actually learning the material. She also is very unopen to helping a student in class. Even if you go to office hours she refuses to explain anything she believes you should already know. If you fall behind or are slow in learning the material Bonnie leaves you for the dead.

I find watching the videos a lot more helpful than going to classes. If you don't study ahead you're gonna be lost during her lectures. the good thing is the cases and tests are not that hard. She also told us if you got more than 90% on the final, you would get an A no matter how horrible your previous grades were. Was not an easy A but do-able A.

Watch video modules, go to recitations, do practice problems before exams and you will get a decent grade! Mrs. Bonnie's nice and helpful, and she'll be willing to help you if you have any questions. But make sure that you don't procrastinate, otherwise it'll be very hard to catch up.
This class is not a easy one.You need to be prepared every week in order to understand most of the materials. However, Bonnie's recitation and videos are helpful for the learning.You need to spend time on this class if you want to get a good grade. Bonnie is a very good teacher, and anyone that tells you she isn't is probably a poor student. The class is hard only because it's stats (aka boring)! It's a weed out course at Fisher for a reason. However, Bonnie is extremely helpful. The class is especially difficult at first but gets much easier. Take her for 2320 over the other professors.
Don't let your eyes glaze over in class, bc you'll get left behind. She explains each component of the formulas clearly and is always building on prvs lectures. Do well on quizzes and cases, pay attention to all scenarios, and it's not hard to get an A or B on the exams. Most things you "don't know" are things you forgot/weren't paying attn to.
Bonnie is kind and very smart, but not everyone has a knack for teaching. Best advice I can give anyone taking this class, don't buy the book instead get the book business statistics for dummies, I learnt all the material for the semester in one day.
Very difficult class (literally praying for a pass now) but Mrs Schroeder is very helpful with any questions you have. She may seem a little intimidating at first but she's actually a patient person that wouldn't mind going over the material for you if you're having a hard time understanding them. She is also unbelievably efficient.

Group case studies, make sure you turn them and evaluations in BEFORE class starts. Video lectures are really confusing. Just gotta work at it, do as many practice problems as possible to help prepare for exams.
Really tough teacher. Really hard class. I highly recommend starting to intensely study at least 8 days in advance for a test. The online videos are really helpful if you pay close attention and practice exams are very helpful. I started the class with a D and ended with an A- due to learning studying techniques and taking the class seriously.

Sometimes, I'm not sure she even knows what she is talking about. I would recommend any other professor but her. However, she makes the exams so be ready for her attempt to screw you over.
Bonnie is very strict and her class is run with a lot of rules. She is very organized, but some lectures are too long. Hard teacher but if you work for it, you can come out with a decent grade.

The class is not too difficult if you show up and can grasp the concepts, but her lectures drag on and on and are mandatory due to clicker participation grade. She's very boring and dry in the videos and in real life and does not do much to help students prepare for exams. Requires a lot of independent studying to do well.
Keep up with the material and you'll be fine. Class is just plain boring and Bonnie is hard to listen to though. Highly recommend making use of the TAs. Bonnie isn't too much of a fan of questions; doesn't quite seem to understand why you don't get concepts she already explained in lecture. There is such a thing as a stupid question accd to Bonnie.

Honestly, 2320 was my favorite class that I've taken so far at OSU. Bonnie is tough and can be very boring at times, but if you reach out to her for help she is more than willing. Take good notes, keep up the material + PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE and you will come out with a good grade. Exams are tough but she doesn't do anything to trick you.
I never went to lecture because she is a really boring lecturer but, I did watch her videos and they are really helpful & you can always google concepts you don't understand. There are group case studies and the class is moving towards being almost completely on mystatlab, so it's easy to forget tests/quizzes. Bonnie is always willing to help.
I went from AP statistics in high school straight into 2320 and not much of it made any sense to me. The mystatslab and her lectures did not seem to relate at all and the concepts from mystatslab and the chapter readings were way easier than the exam questions. They should choose another book as the one they currently have does not help for exams.
She doesn't go through many of the practice problems in recitation. Also, when you email her questions, she usually doesn't answer and will say that she already said that in lecture or recitation, so don't miss.
Bonnie is pretty miserable to listen to. She doesn't do a bad job at explaining things but if you don't go to class it will be tough.
Bonnie gets a bad rep. She is very helpful if you go to her office hours and she answers questions thoroughly in class (assuming you're not afraid to ask a question in a 200 person lecture hall). She is not as entertaining as Dr. Draper, but don't let teacher personality get in the way of the awesome and useful material you'll learn in Stats 2320.
Bonnie Schroeder is not a good professor. She is terrible at explaining things and honestly just makes the material more confusing. I got an A- in the class and it is solely because I had to teach myself all of the material. I wish the fisher college of business would stop letting her teach this class. Worst professor I have ever had.
If you do the work and show that you're putting in effort, you're not going to have any problems with Bonnie. Tests and 3 cases are all very straightforward with a few rogue questions. She can be intense but if you go to office hours and study it should be a relatively easy A. Gives tons of extra credit on exams and homework so make sure to do it.
She is terrible at explaining things, usually she makes topics more confusing. She is awful at organizing lectures and covering topics. She's nice but is just awful at teaching. Be prepared to learn the material on your own.
She cannot teach period the end. Lectures are very confusing and she never explains anything just assumes we all get it. She has an attitude whenever someone asks a question. Even her emails she send sound condescending towards all the students. If you can find another professor to take this class with do it or take it at CSCC.

Truly an awful lecturer. She makes material that should be fairly staright foward very hard to understand. If you ask questions, she will be condescending. I would suggest trying to get into Draper's class or at least going to his lectures. Otherwise just try to teach yourself because she is useless.
I am in her class right now and I can tell you I do not understand a single thing in this class. All of this material should be so easy but she makes it so difficult to understand. And all the case studies she assigns are so vague that you don't understand what to do.
The class is super unorganized since you have lecture notes, lecture videos, and recitations that are all teaching different things. She doesn't do the best job explaining but it is a mandatory business class so suffer through it. Just got to lecture for extra credit and somehow teach yourself the material and you'll do okay
Bonnie's lectures and videos are confusing. The class concepts are not that hard, just go through the lecture notes and make sense of it on your own. Read your textbook or online or go to the TAs for help. Definitely study the practice exams she posts! AIM TO GET ALL THE EXTRA CREDIT OFFERED! There is close to 70 points offered of extra credit!
2320 might be the worst class that we're forced to take at Fisher and Mrs. Schroeder does not make it any easier. The material is confusing and repetitive and she doesn't really know how to organize it in an easy-to-understand manner. Just go to class for extra credit and then be like me and vent your frustrations through this website.
I got an A in this class but it was by far the hardest class I have taken thus far. The material isn't necessarily hard itself, it's the way she teaches the class. Instead of teaching us how to use formulas she used an online tool all semester, which we cant use on exam. Make a study group with some other ppl in class so you can help each other out
This was by far the most difficult class I have ever taken. Currently I have an A by a fluke, however most of my peers have D's and F's. All of the material is extremely confusing. Lectures are not helpful and boring. Consumes more time than my other 4 classes combined. Avoid at all costs. Her emails seem condescending. Take course at C state!!!!
Absolutely useless as a teacher, unsure how she still has a job teaching. Her teaching material has no logical flow, everything is online, she doesnt actually show you how to solve practice problems, the problems on tests are things that have never been discussed in class, doesnt let recitation leaders teach so you wont get another perspective.
This is probably the worst class I've taken at Ohio State. Bonnie is nice and probably means well but is an awful lecturer, so bad that I feel like lecture has made the material tougher to understand. The class is very poorly organized and you will have to spend a significant amount of time teaching yourself the material if you want to do well.
There are 2 professors teaching BUS2320 & you have to take it in Fisher- biggest advice? Do whatever you can to NOT get Bonnie. Her lectures actually make the content more confusing and she comes across very condescending. Material is pretty tough, but Bonnie makes it worse and recitation is borderline useless as the TA's just follow her lead.
She always doesn't have proper arrangement for the lec, and cannot finish the full content of the slides. Also, she never post full slides that she missed and still test the content. Sometimes, the lec makes the easier class material more confused. Take this course with another professor if possible.
I was afraid of going into this class because of all the reviews. Bonnie is a great professor. To pass the class: go to lecture for extra credit (there is material not discussed in the videos), watch the videos before lecture, and just actually try. It is a tough class but the material is so repetitive that it makes it easy. Just apply yourself
My most difficult class this semester. Professor was difficult and outside optional work is key to succeed in the class. Being self motivated is what allowed me to receive an A in this class. Ask questions and she'll answer them, but Bonnie is very blunt and will not slow down unless you stop her. Not a great professor, but class is do-able.
Just overall a bad teacher. Not good at getting information across to students in a way they can understand it, tests are very hard and she is very pedantic about the group projects and formatting for them. Very nice as a person, not so great as a teacher.

Recitation is much more helpful than lecture but I really enjoyed Bonnie and this class despite what I was expecting. I learned a lot and would take this class again. Bonnie made me DESPISE statistics. This class was organized so poorly and Bonnie did nothing to help students learn. The slides posted on Carmen weren't filled out so you could never go back and learn from it. I taught myself everything and got an A, but I am a 4.0 student. I interviewed to be a TA and during my interview she ridiculed my ideas.
Bonnie is condescending to her students and is a dry lecturer. Go to lecture and watch Khan Academy and you will get a good grade. Statistics isn't hard, Bonnie just is not the best at delivering the material in a way that students understand and can consistently pay attention to. The problem is more attitude based with her, miserable class @ 8 AM.
Bonnie is actually the WORST professor I've ever had. Lectures are useless. You only learn in recitation, so ask questions. Case Studies are miserable and also useless. Her attitude is very belittling. It's also taking her 8 days to grade a Scantron.
BUSMGT 2320 was the worst class I have taken in Fisher. It is unorganized and very hard to follow. There are weekly videos that are so hard to watch cause her voice has no inflection. The weekly homework counts as extra credit which is nice. The TAs are never on the same page with case questions and it's very frustrating.
I havent completed the course yet but i can tell she is one of the worst professors Ive ever had. Terry Klinker and Marc Smith are angels compared to her. First, I have never had such a poorly organized class. The schedule makes no sense. Im fine with reading a syllabus but there are so many small details in it its hard to know whats going on.

Bonnie is the driest human being on the planet, and this class is organized in a confusing way. If you can take this with Draper, do it. Due to transfer credit, this is the fourth stats class I have taken, and Bonnie managed to confuse me with material I already knew. She is horrific at explaining concepts, which makes this class nearly intolerable
Even though she said Analytics isn't her strong point, I felt prepared for all the exams and homework. She thoroughly goes over the material and makes sure we're engaged with the material. Do the practice problems that are put out as well as take thorough notes in and out of lecture!

This class is dreaded by most Fisher business classes and rightfully so. After taking it this semester I want to clear up some things about Bonnie. She is a fantastic teacher but teaches a class that is incredibly difficult content wise. She offers alot of extra credit but the only way to do well is if YOU put in the work.
This class is terrible but Bonnie is probably your best option. The exams are very similar to the homework so I strongly recommend looking at those. Also, in the online format, stat crunch is a savior to ensure that you do well on the exams so learn to use that as best you can.
If you want to do well in this class, understand how to use StatCrunch and go to TA office hours. They will help you infinitely more than the unnecessarily detailed lecture prep videos or the droning lectures themselves.
Bonnies lectures are impossible to sit through. She takes topics that could be explained in an understandable way and over complicates into teaching them in a way that almost no students can understand. Lecture participation problem scores are abysmal and that says something.
Bonnie isn't as bad as people say she is. She talks slow and over explains things, so lecture is a torture to sit through, but the class offers so much extra credit so it's not hard to do well. She never finishes the slides in time, so it's annoying having to watch recordings later. Group cases are also very stressful if you have a bad group.
This is the worst course ever with the worst professor ever. When she is called out on her mistakes she blames it on the sites used or the students not being able to understand. The class itself is extremely hard and the professor makes it no easier when she cant make it halfway through a lecture. The course should be learning to use statcrunch.
She never allows us to look at past exams, so we cannot see where we went wrong, taking the point out of learning and feedback. Horrible professor that does not care about education, rather organization of an incredibly organized class.
I have had this professor twice now and. I wish the best of luck to anyone else stuck taking these classes. Get ready for group projects, unclear deadlines, and instructions, and missing several points on assignments for the smallest formatting error. She's a very nice lady and cares about her students, but she does not know how to teach. She reads off lecture slides the whole lecture and does practice problems, but I was lost for most of it. Unless you can pick up stats easily, this class will be hard. There's extra credit you can do every week. Got 37 bonus points which saved my grade
Professor Schroeder just isn't made to be an educator. She teaches the material like reading a dry technical manual. The notes leave blanks, so you cant refer back to them later because the answers aren't there, group cases are a nightmare, and class participation is required for grade-saving points. This class does not refresh Stat1430 material.
Incredibly unclear in her teaching. We do pre lecture videos and it goes over almost nothing we learn for the rest of the week. We are completely unprepared for the tests and quizzes. The is by far one of the most unnecessarily hard classes I have ever taken.
super condescending in lecture towards students, makes you feel like you can't ask questions in class without getting a sarcastic comment. refuses to refer to earlier slides/concepts during class even if everyone is lost. gives learning catalytic questions that many times the majority get wrong and somehow that is still the fault of the students.
Class and professor needs improvement - that's given. There is too much material to learn in one semester and the faculty and professor is way too focused on moving on to the next topic than making sure the students learn the topic. Always punishes students for doing bad when it is their job to make sure that we learn.
I asked upperclassmen about courses at Fisher, but all of them failed to mention how hard Bonnie's class is. Literally the hardest class I've ever taken. The way Bonnie teaches makes no sense. Her lectures are unclear, there is so much homework, and she is not helpful. DO every single extra credit homework, if you do you get extra points.
I came back to this post years after I graduate, this is the worst lecture at Ohio State, I am amazed by how the f... people are still taking her class and they never learn, if you can have a chance to avoid her, pls do, it's manageable taking both 2320 and 2321!
Currently taking this class and the reviews were not exaggerating in the slightest: Bonnie and her class will destroy your motivation. Lecture is not helpful, and the TA's for my recitation are as clueless as the students when it comes to the material. You will spend hours and hours every week studying or this class, and you'll fail anyways

Bonnie has won the award at being the WORST professor in Fisher. She has won this hard earned award by being absolutely terrible. Bonnie has set the bar so high it is impossible for anyone to surpass. The reviews on here are very accurate. Regardless of who you have as lecturer you are stuck with her since she is the course coordinator. God bless!
This class is quite difficult, especially at the beginning and towards the end, but there is a ton of extra credit opportunities (so do everything you can!). The weekly cadence took me a month to master, but stay on top of everything. Bonnie does care, so go to office hours (hers & the TAs), but I often was just confused on everything.
Honestly I didn't think this class was that hard. Homework is optional but if you do it you get extra credit. If you actually try on the homework you will understand all of the information/topics!!!!! Bonnie as a lecturer was alright but when does anyone actually learn anything in lecture? Do the hw and practice and you will get an A in the class.
awful at teaching. when i took her class, she would barely do the math problems - just talk over them. This is an awful way for visual learners to learn MATH - let alone stats. . this made the class 100x harder - even going to some of the TA sessions with her did not help me. Avoid if possible

class is booty cheeks - which also describes bonnie. the teacher needs to retire she is so bad. I retook the class at another college and learned SO MUCH MORE than with bonnie's teaching. the class is solely based on learning by yourself. TA's - cheeks. Lectures - cheeks. Bonnie - cheeks. in the end, she need sum milk and retire.
The class is hard and she teaches mainly how to do the stats work via online but tests are by hand on paper, so difficult to do well sometimes. If u put in the work and ask questions you can get an A. She is very kind and wants you to do well. She will help you with the group cases and offers ALOT of extra credit. DO THE EXTRA CREDIT.
Very unorganized class. The weekly structure they use doesn't line up with any other class I have ever taken. Weird due dates, weird weekly schedule, and confusing class. Other than that, Bonnie does a decent job with her lectures and she gives a large amount of extra credit which definitely helps. Be ready to be confused though, not super fun.
To be honest, Bonnie doesn't know what she is doing in lectures. Let alone the course curriculum is ridiculous in teaching the pre-technology methods of analyzing the data. It is disappointing to see a such high-rank school as the Ohio State business department is yet outdated and insufficient. Ohio State needs better professors.
This professor is very poor. Honestly the worst professor I have had since being at Ohio State. She swears that the reviews on RMP are not accurate, although I believe the fact she even tries to argue against them shows how bad she is. I only have 350 words so I will sum her up as being a rude, very non-motivating professor. Does not belong at OSU.
Hard project
I don't understand how Bonnie is rude to students like others say, she seems like a nice lady. She gives a fair amount of extra credit which really helps because this class is pretty tough. But, Bonnie is an EXTREMELY boring lecturer, especially in her lecture videos. It is nearly impossible to learn anything from her lectures.
Never seen such a bad professor. Students did not understand her lectures in class and had to watch the videos when they got home. But she then canceled posting videos on the Carmen made by other teachers because of less attendance. Then, my grade gradually went down to C.
This class expects you to teach yourself advanced statistics in itself. There is mandatory attendance, group cases, and weekly homework on statcrunch, whereas you can't use statcrunch on exams. Don't miss any extra credit opportunities. A very difficult class.
Students were doing fine with recorded lectures by other teachers. The act of making class attendance mandatory went against what she declares in syllabus; you cant trust this class structure. Would definitely recommend terry klinker over her anyday.
Easily the worst professor in Fisher. She adds so many extra steps to this class. This class is already difficult, but she makes it more so. I was a 4.0 student up until I had her. If CSCC still offered this class, I would've taken it there. Sadly, she was the only available option to me at OSU.
Horrible professor. Anyone who says the reviews here are overexaggerated, are simply lying to you. This class is only 3 credit hours, but trust me when I saw this: Treat it like a 4 or 5 credit hour class. The average student will need to dedicated at least 12-15 hours/week outside of class to at least get a C.
Overall, this was an unnecessarily difficult course. You'll need to know how to utilize Stat Crunch and Excel for most assignments but the exams are entirely paper and pencil. I would recommend completing any extra credit and optional work as lecture videos and lecture itself provide very few examples, which is my main complaint with this class.
Recitation class, she is one of the worst lecturers. If you did not like 1430 it will be a struggle. Just try to take Draper, there is not enough space in this review to complain well enough. I will say if she still has "optional homework" DO IT, that is the curve, there is no curve. All of the assignments are graded tough
Avoid this professor at all costs. If you're teaching hard material, then you should try to help your students as much as possible, not leave them hanging before exams that make up a large portion of your grade. This class is so disorganized and chaotic. Terrible all-around.
This professor is awful. For the group case, one of her files shows that we should put the page with our signature as the FIRST page. However, another file requires us to use it as the LAST page. She can never go through all of her slides in class (she got 30 slides but she just talked about 20 of them). Don't choose her as your professor, RUN!
This class is unnecessarily hard. My biggest advice is to get an early start on the 3 case studies because if you wait- you'll be sitting in office hours surrounded by 50+ equally confused classmates. The case studies are graded super harshly but TAs help out a lot. The HW is also very hard but is extra credit. Go to lecture & recitation for pts!
2 section tests that you were able to use your online resources. This helps you understand the material throughout the year but not when it comes to exam time, where you have to teach everything you learned a different way. Extra credit helps. Would have failed with out it. A great professor would have changed my outlook on this class. Never again
The class is standardized, so I don't know if another professor would've helped. 40 EC points from HW and extra 10 from info sheet and volunteering available (do if you want to pass). Group project are very confusing so ask TAs for help. Heavily relies on statcrunch but can't use for exams. Able to use note sheet for exams but only helps so much.

Bonnie Schroeder needs to be removed from the Fisher staff. At least in the capacity she currently teaches in. I could see how she may not be as terrible for statisticians/math majors, but she cannot relate to low level statistics students comprehension. The material is already difficult enough as is. We as students need to take action against her.
Bonnie doesn't deserve all the hate she gets as a professor. She knows the material well and does her best to explain it when concepts are difficult. If you approach her after or outside of class, she is very sweet and answers all questions. Her lectures can be dry at times so be careful there. She builds a lot of grade forgiveness into the class.

Bonnie is actually not that bad. When you talk to her after class, you will know she's actually a really nice person. The concepts are really boring and hard, but there are lots of extra credits opportunities. Be ready to finish the group case ASAP, there will be lots of people during the office hours if you start it late.
Bonnie is a nice person, I read the reviews before I took this course and got Draper for Lec. while having Bonnie for Rec. She's reasonable but I just never spoke during class. Overall, she does need to retire, she literally taught my father back in the early 90's. Aside from this, do good on the group cases, HW, and quizzes as that IS THE CURVE.
Professor Schroeder does a fine job at explaining the material. There is mandatory attendance for lectures and recitations, but you are allowed to miss a few. Do the homework for extra credit! As long as you grind out the group projects and study this class is doable! I was able to finish with above a 100, so an A is definitely doable!
Extreme disconnect between online video lectures, in-person recitation, and the questions presented on the test. Expects you to be able to use statcrunch with minimal explanation and then doesn't allow it on tests. Requires two group projects which are fundamentally incompatible with the way a math class should work. Overall bad experience.
VERY generous professor, a ton of easy extra credit opportunities. The best way to ace the exams and case studies is go back and study the homework/quizzes from MyLab. If you do this and write down the equations/concepts on your formula sheet which she allows you to use on your exam, you will at least get a B in this class.
In my opinion, this class was easier than STAT-1430. The majority of this class is hypothesis testing, understanding when to reject and not to reject null hypothesis. So definitely understand hypothesis testing, it will be the case studies and the exams.
Worst professor I've ever had and the is the sole reason this course is so hard. Her lectures make no sense and every class is forced to use them. You will have to teach yourself all the concepts yourself. I have no clue how this woman still has a job. Does not give answers in lecture either.
F Bonnie Schroeder
I took this class twice, the 1st time i took it was spring of my sophomore year, I was taking a handful of other classes and stopped trying for this class and ended with a D+. The 2nd time I took it was summer going into my senior year, while working a 40+ hr internship I was able to become more committed to the class and ended w/ over a 100%.
I spent the whole fall semester of my sophomore year watching her lecture videos. She is not good at teaching the content of the course. The only good thing about this course is that the homework is extra credit. I would never recommend her as a teacher.
This class took so much time and effort. It is much harder than 1430. If you dont know your terminology (which there is tons of) you will struggle. Its not so much Bonnie being a bad teacher, there is just tons of work not considering you have 4-5 other classes you are taking. Spent 6 hours a week outside of class and still was confused every week.
Bonnie was hands down the worst professor I have ever had at Ohio State. Her lecture videos are the most confusing monstrosities to ever exist. Watching them and studying for hours did not help me a single bit as I still struggled. It feels discouraging to ace every class, spend more time in statistics, and are unable to perform well in statistics.

The only reason I have a good grade right now in the class is because of the extra credit you get from homework. Her lectures are soooo long and takes the first half to go over the notes she didnt get to the previous class so it seems like your always playing catchup. The 3 Group projects sucked because no one knew what they were doing.

Bonnie is a sweet lady, but in my opinion BUSOBA 2320 is a class that she makes quite difficult. She tends to over-explain every topic instead of the baseline knowledge for the exams. Everything you learn in this class tends to relate to real world examples and the 3 group cases you have to do during the course.
Worked really hard in this class to get an A-. Group projects are so hard because nobody understands unless you go to office hours. TAs make this course easier, Bonnie makes it harder. Do your homework, it counts as like 5% extra credit.
I don't like to say mean things about professors who seem like nice people, but I have never experienced a worse teaching experience in my entire life. Everything she teaches is made much harder than it should be to understand, while her lecture videos and lectures are both confusing and incredibly monotonous.

I don't know how Bonnie still has a job after all these bad reviews. She doesn't care about students learning the material at all. If you want any help at all in this class you have to go to the TAs and even then they aren't sure on most stuff. Cstate use to teach this class for credit but Bonnie like always got the university to stop that.

Her lectures are the most confusing things in the world, she thinks she is teaching to masters students not people who don't know the content. Worst professor in the entire school and Im not sure how she has a job since everyone hates her.
Extra credit is offered for doing the weekly homework, doing these without statcrunch will help prepare you for exams. I also highly suggest looking over the optional practice (at least the multiple choice portion) to study. Professor Schroeder did a great job and is extremely helpful in office hours and class, you just have to meet her halfway.

Bonnie's lectures can be pretty confusing, but you can get through this class with some effort. The TAs are a big help, and tools like unstuckstudy ai and the textbook make studying easier. Attend class, do the work, and you'll likely get a decent grade.
It astonishes me on how you can be a teacher but know so little about actually teaching. The only business she needs to be taking care of is finding another job. Being inside an iron lung is easier than sitting through her class.

The worst teacher I've had in my time throughout college. Watching lecture videos and attending in person lectures only confuses you more. She could be teaching simple addition and still confuse her students. Group Projects aren't bad and plenty of points from homework/lecture quizzes. Take another professor if at all possible.
By far, one of the most difficult classes I've taken at OSU. Group cases aren't awful, but the exams are tough. Make sure you understand the conceptual aspects opposed to understanding the math (still try to understand the math. The conceptuals take up a large majority of the exam questions.
I have to say she is the most awful professor I have ever met. She does not explain our confusing group case grade even after class.
Bonnie is REALLY BAD at teaching statistics, and I find the group cases to be pretty hurtful overall. I only did well in the class because most of the course content is in AP stats. The class is the poorest put-together I've ever been a part of. Exams start 30 mins after the scheduled exam time. Would not recommend unless you got a 4-5 on ap stats.
Only take Bonnie if you hate yourself
Worst professor at Fisher. Her lectures are all over the place, and I don't think she ever got through all the slides. Exam averages are constantly 70 or below. Needs to retire.
Bonnie has an old-school style of teaching that to me was very hard to learn from. You learn more from recitation than any lecture. You are required to watch lecture videos before lecture, then attend lecture where she talks about the same things, and goes on and on and in general, is not nice to students. I would not recommend.
Incredibly boring and bad lecturer.The subject matter really shouldn't be that hard, but Schroeder essentially forces you to learn everything on your own as attending lecture was basically useless. I also remember her scolding some people for leaving lecture early even though attending is not required. I don't blame them for leaving early.

Had her for analytics and liked her much better. My TAs were english as a second language which made learning much more difficult. Your group mates are hit or miss on their quality and who grades your project has a big impact on the grade. Schroeder is a nice lady, but boring, just envision your grandma teaching you stats.
Worst professor I've had at this school. Was very disinterested and rude during office hours, and she showed little willingness to actually teach students. Exams were challenging, lectures were uninspiring, and the three group projects lacked proper guidance. Tenured, out of touch, and a poor representation of this institution.
Class kinda annoying basically teach the whole class to yourself. Honestly if you put in the work it's really not that bad.
Ok hear me out. This course is hard. However, Bonnie gives you lot of opportunities to succeed in this class (6% extra credit + curves). If you can build some strong study habits and come to class already having a pretty solid understanding of the material you will do very well. I hated statistics coming into this class, but now I actually like it.
Quite possibly the worst course I have ever taken at any level of my education. The homework had typos and errors ever week. Bonnie did not submit grades on time and took several days after the hard deadline to post them, JUST TO GET THEM WRONG and email every student that they need an EXTRA WEEK to fix them. We pay 35 thousand a year for this bs?
Bonnie's lectures are boring but they are not as bad as people say. If you choose to actively pay attention and try, you will succeed. The content is not difficult; it mimics AP Statistics. Bonnie's teaching is very confusing as she makes the content more complex. There is a ton of extra credit and leeway built into this class.
While her lectures can be hard to pay attention to, the class itself is very well organized, has plenty of opportunities for extra credit, and the exams are extremely fair. She gives plenty of leeway when it comes to earning credit (HWs, extra test questions for bonus, etc.) and gives a few excused absences.

this class was a living nightmare. there was about 10% of students who truly knew what they wad doing. whatever u do do not take it by her. She is a terrible teacher. my friends was able to explain the topics better than she ever did. Truly the worst course to take at fisher TRUST ME. My grade was a b only becasue of the homeoworks
Hearing all the horror stories about this course, I entered with the mindset that time & effort would get me through it smoothly. I was wrong. This was by FAR the hardest & most time-consuming class I have taken in my 3 years at OSU. I cried as I studied for each exam. Bonnie makes everything horrifyingly confusing. Please do the HW extra credit.
Gambled away my health for an A. Not worth it. This class is unnecessarily stressful and at the end of the semester I got tinnitus from the stress of this course. Please do extra credit hw and don't believe anyone who says the group cases were easy. They were the bums of their group.

She teaches everything completely different from the STAT 1430 class and makes everything exceptionally more difficult than it needs to be. I swear she chooses to teach the most difficult ways to reach an answer. I don't understand why she teaches things different from the 1st stat class, makes everything 10x harder to understand.
I had Bonnie for BUSOBA 2320 and 2321. The BUSOBA department is the absolute worst organized department in Fisher, if not the entire school. I swear Bonnie Schroeder and Terry Klinker saw what Marc Smith was doing, copied it but made everything worse. For the love of all things holy, my final exam building/room was locked and I could not get in.
Quite possibly the worst teacher I have ever had, not just in college but going all the way back to my pre-school days. I would say bad words to describe her but it won't let me. Don't take her, she is the worst. She doesn't teach.
I will be really honest, she isn't even bad, granted statistics is a very difficult class for alot of people, but if you pay attention and do the work, it will pay off. The class work is difficult regardless.

This class felt so disorganized and was harder than it needed to be. Seeing all the other negative reviews makes me wonder why nothing has changed, like the content isn't even the main problem here.
Unfortunately, my experience with Professor Bonnie Schroeder was less than positive. While she may know the material, her teaching style leaves much to be desired. Her lectures are dry and often hard to follow. It felt like she was simply reading off slides rather than explaining concepts in a way that would help students actually learn. Avoid her!

This class was unnecessarily hard. The exams did not reflect what you learned. And don't even bother watching Bonnie's lecture videos they are not worth your time you won't learn a thing.
Bonnie sucks. Run far far away to save yourself from this woman. I felt like I am a prisoner being held hostage when listening to her lectures. Save yourself. I repeat save yourself NOW.
Worst professor I've had so far, very boring and monotone. Miserable listening to her talk at 8pm. She's a little over hated, as I haven't had any issues with material and work. 3 group projects throughout the semester, random groups so you better hope for good teammates. Lecture and recitation are mandatory, avoid Bonnie if you can, super boring.
Really just a doozy. Felt like a prisoner in a gulag entering her lecture. No offense to Bonnie but she is not built for this, I think retirement is the way to go. Not even joking this class is so bad.
Bonnie Schroeder is a special case. I have never met anyone who was as boring or uninspired as her. Lecture is nearly impossible to pay attention to and her lecture videos can only be watched in 2x speed to be tolerable. Some of these were apparently recorded during the great depression and it astounds me how replacement videos were never uploaded.

Truly can't say a single good thing about Bonnie. She's insensitive and makes this class incredibly hard for NO reason. The exams truly never reflect what we learned in class or the practice exam whatsoever. Good Luck! Stats 2 is prison…especially with Bonnie.
Oh man, what words could I use to describe Bonnie Schroeder? Well, besides comically uninteresting, I would describe her as incredibly slow. Grades were supposed to be finalized and in already? Not with Bonnie. No, with Bonnie, its "Your grades will be in Carmen tomorrow!" Well, tomorrow has came, and you can guess what is not in Carmen.
I enjoyed her lectures, and any grievances for 2321 should be taken up with Terry Klinker, and not her, since he coordinates that particular course. Her teaching style may not be for everyone. Sometimes I felt like lectures were rushed but I learned enough to be successful in the course. She always was happy to help with any questions I had!
bonnie is terrible in every sense of the word. the most boring lecturer ever, over complicates things, stumbles her words and confuses people even more, and just over all impossible to keep up with. the content of the class isnt even hard if you understand statistics, she just goes out of her way to make it more difficult and failable.
Going to lecture is bad enough, listening to her lecture videos make my ears bleed even on 2x speed Lecture is a snooze fest Bonnie im sure means well and theres a reason she has been doing this since 54' but she thinks her class is the only one students should care about and I think enjoys putting exams and group projects on busy weekends
Don't even get me started with Bonnie. Holy crap her lectures are beyond miserable and she incredibly tough to listen to for an entire lecture. There is genuinely not one single good thing about this class or her - it is nearly impossible to keep up with all the content and she goes out of her way to make it even more difficult. I would rather jump off of the Eiffel Tower than sit through another one of her lectures. Super boring, uninteresting, and condescending. Don't even bother studying, none of her practice exam questions are on the midterms. I recommend pregaming her lectures.
Terrible lecturer, doesn't guide the class. Reads off the slides with no further analysis and expect students to understand. Way too many lecture videos required for this class, and super monotonous voice.
Not to beat a dead horse, but worst lecturer i have ever had. Her lectures are so boring because she is the most monotone and unengaging speaker. She also just crashed out on us in lecture for some reason, which is another reason why i am writing this.
Quite possibly the most boring lecturer in Fisher history. Unorganized class, ancient pre-lecture videos, and exams are structured completely different from what we learned in class. Highly recommend Dr. K as your lecturer if possible,even then, the structure of this class is terrible and bonnie's lecture videos overcomplicate even y=mx+b

What's really a shame is I believe Bonnie in that statistics is very interesting and is a useful tool to have. It's too bad that she kills all passion about the subject, teaching in a way that is not only extremely monotone and boring but also overcomplicated. Easily the worst professor I've had at Fisher, class/exams are poorly structured. Shame.

ADVICE! If you want to save multiple hours a week and not be taught by an ancient professor who needs to give it up. Bonnie, I know students make you grumpy but there's something called retirement that would help with that. Take this class online at Wright State or Youngstown State. It's 100 times easier than this class with Bonnie.
Bonnie herself is a solid lecturer. She can be monotone and dull at times, but if you focus, what she says makes perfect sense. She does stumble occasionally and tries too hard to connect with a 200-person classroom. The course's many (many!) issues stem from serious organizational failures, which fall on Terry Klinker are for him to address.
