great teacher. she loves what she does and it shows. she is a bit of a hard grader but it is well worth the effort.

prof bryan's awesome! just participate in class, do the journals (which are super easy)and you'll be good. it's a good class to have if you struggle with writing because she's a tough grader, but allows for the resources to improve in class and at office hours. she lets you know what she expects and teachers with modern attitude and humor.love her!

Prof. Bryan is really hot and a really good teacher. However, if you're like me and you hate english and this is the last english class you ever have to take and you don't care about learning this stuff, I don't recomend the class. Lots of work, lots of reading, and she grades pretty hard on the essays.

BB is a sweetheart and a great teacher. You can really tell she loves what she does and wants to help her students as much as she can. She is always easy to get a hold of either email or office hours. The last person who posted can't even spell correctly, who you gonna believe? And she's easy on the eyes too!!

Honestly, I hated english before I took Prof. Bryan's class. She doesn't grade harshly if you are willing to put forth effort and want to learn. I found the readings thought-provoking and the discussions entertaining. Prof. Bryan is extremely sarcastic and witty, she's also very clear, thorough and intellegent. I highly recommend this class!

I took her honors class and I got an A and I hate reading. Basically, she is a very good person in general, a good teacher, very fair, very smart, understanding, and cares about her students. If I enjoyed english I would definitely take every class of hers. She is somewhat of a hard grader, but again, I was in the honors class.

OMG! My favorite instructor of all time!!! You will surely love her. She is nice, smart, funny, and she explains things if you get cinfused. Take her class!!! I took her class that was 3 hours once a week and it was pretty simple to me. Read the stories, process them and respond. Not that difficult if you do the work and show up. She gets a bit annoying at times, but the fact that she is kinda hot it is ok.

WOW WOW WOW. She is the best teacher at city college. I absolutely loved her! We got along so well and she is very personable. I got a super high A for simply doing all my work. There's weekly journals and quite a bit of stories to read, but she's just so cute and fun that going to her class is something you WILL look forward to. I promise!!!

I took Ms. Bryan after almost 10 years without an English class and I found her course to be both enlightening and interesting. Great Teacher! Tells you exactly how the assignment needs to be done. I would say the assignments get lengthier as the semester progresses. Pretty much same content though. Take this class, she is awesome. If you don't speak the English language very well, avoid this class. She speaks very fast and translation may be difficult for you.

I LOVED HER CLASS! assignments are a bit challenging, but they're manageable! Pop-quizzes every now and then, so READ! 2 essays for HW, midterm&final are essays, but they're not hard! get help if you need it! I recommend this class to anyone.

Great english teacher. Had her for 110 and 111. She makes class interesting and fun. Easy A if you attend, do all of the assignments and read. She gives a good amount of extra credit. 4 essays total (two in class and two outside of class). STRONGLY RECOMMEND!

I've never found English class to be the most entertaining but in Professor Bryan's class there was never a dull moment. She is a fun person. The class is mostly discussion based therefore participation is key. She is very open minded and genuinely tries to understand everyone's viewpoint.

This was my first online class. She is super helpful, replies to emails asap. Check Moodle Monday, as there are usually up to four things due throughout the week starting Tuesday. Very clear instructions, interesting topics, and good feedback on papers etc.

I enjoyed Professor Bryan's lectures! She is extremely funny and easy to talk to! She assigns weekly reading assignsments but they aren't that long. Her essay prompts arent too complicated and even if they were she'd explain them and give sample papers as well. TOTALLY TAKE HER!

Take your first semester. Format and class load is easy to integrate into a busy life. P Bryan is strict on due dates. Extra credit available, and a rewrite. ENG 120 final time is short, take seriously. Replies quickly to emails. Great sense of humor. Be creative and you will do fine. I got a B only because I was injured and did not have internet.

As long as you put in hard work and listen to her advice, your outcome will be successful. Take her if you can, she is an amazing teacher who will impact your writing for the better not only in the class but for the rest of your career. So grateful for the opportunity of being in her class.

I took her online English 110 class during summer. I highly recommend this option for people who want to avoid the theater of in person English classes and just want to focus on writing papers. She gives decent feedback on papers and is a fair grader. The work load is extremely manageable. We had 4 essays, each about 1000 words.

Professor Bryan is excellent. Her material is thought-provoking and fun, and her lectures are very interactive. By the end of the semester, the whole class felt more like a community than any other class I have taken. She gives great feedback on essays and is kind, helpful and approachable. Great professor, first English class at SBCC. I am taking her class again for ENG111, she gives really good feedback on essays and made me a better writer. Attendance is important because there are a lot of in class assignments.

Because the class was small, there was a sense of community. I think if she really warms up to you, you'll do better in her class. You will actually need to read the textbook to do well and she does have several things assigned in class. So show up, participate and respect her and she will have your back.

Bonny is a very down to earth teacher who genuinely cares about her students. We had a student who was obviously from a different way of life becuase he would constantly disrupt class, but she handled it incredibly professionally and never once lost her temper. Professor Bryan is SUCH a great teacher! I took her online Eng 110 class and it was great. There are usually 2 assignments due a week. One being a smaller assignment and one being a bigger assignment. The pace of the class was wonderful. Professor Bryan is a very helpful teacher and cares about her students.
