This guy is great! He has a bit of an accent but you can understand him and he is more than happy to help you during office hours. He hints at questions that will be on his exams (the midterm and the final, with no quizes) and hes a sweetheart!

This is the second time I have Themeli as a teacher. I would say that he is one of the great teachers at Fordham. THE FINAL IS NOT! HARD! Just study a couple of hrs and you'll be fine. The final is very long, but easy if you study and practice thehandouts

took him for micro. notes are perfectly clear. midterm and final can be aced if you memorize the short notes. goes over everything that will be on test in class period before it. you so do not need the book. photocopy a friend's. youll never read chapters. need book only for questions that you answe

Awesome Professor...He Made me like Stats...and Stats II is pretty tough mind you, but he made this very easy...the textbook is only used for HW so do not bring it to class too much...use his notes and class assingments to guide yourself.

He bases the entire class off notes from the board so dont bother buying the book, SERIOUSLY! Only two test in class - midterm and final, however, very sneaky on test. Includes stuff that he doesn't cover in the review so you better study everything. And good luck getting in touch with him by e-mail or by phone. Overall not bad,I'm taking him again

He is the****... had him for both Stats 1 and II, Stats 1 you can sleep through and pass... Stats II he steps it up a lot, but still.. just stay awake and study EVERYTHING he goes over... (he pulls out an equation that can kill). Do whateva you gotta to get into his class...won't find a betta teacher... seriously

Themeli is the best teacher I have ever had. You need to go to class every day though because it is so much easier to just listen to his lessons then to try and learn from the book. This guy is great. Explains things very clearly, all you need to do is study the sheets and homeworks and your golden. Theres only a midterm and final and some hws so the only thing is that the final is 50%, midterm 40% of ur grade so if you mess up on one ur screwed. Does not take attendance and overall is a very laid back funny guy.

He gives notes and it seems easy cause there is just a midterm and final but they can be tricky. The class is not an easy A and the T/F ques r hard. I wouldnt say the class is hard and if u study the notes u should be able to get a B+/A-, I would take him again because he is very animated, if he knows your name it helps cause he does have favorties

Nice, funny guy that teaches faster than a speeding bullet. Pay attention and take notes. I can't say if his way of grading is fair or not considering my grades and those of others in my class. If you have to take him, take him with a spoon of sugar.

Far and away the best professor i have had at this university. Totally down to earth, hilarious in class, work isn't overwhelming but it contributes to your understanding of the material. Tests require working knowledge of material, but his reviews are perfect- tells you exactly what's coming. always offers help, is very laid back, loves giving As.

The buzz was right! He was great wen I had him for eco. But wen I took him for stats, I did not really understand him that much. And he did not give out too many As even to some ppl who deserved it. You should only take him for stats if u takin stats b4. And worst of all he does not follow the textbook. You must be a good listener in class!

Explains everything clearly, he is a must take. I was lucky enough to get him cause after first day of registration, he will be gone. He outlines test for you and takes great notes on the board. I have never even takin stats b4 and I got an easy A. The guy below me has problems

i usually don't leave comments on these things, but i must disagree about grading unfairly. while nearly everyone in my class did get A's and i got B-, that was the grade i earned, as i really flubbed up on the final exam. its not like he's there to hand out A's, gosh. Themeli's class is fun and funny, take it if you enjoy fun.

He is honestly the best professor i have had since attending Fordham.His teaching method is clear and if you fail it's because you did it to yourself. He is also very available no matter the hour and most def not an Uncle Tom, whom ever said that probably got a bad grade so shove it.

Great guy and his class notes are so detailed that you DO NOT need to purchase the book. One midterm and one final. 2-3 hw assignments throughout the semester but the answers are directly from you notes. He does not want to fail anyone and gives you the opportunity to improve your grade.

Great professor, funny, clear on subject, the book is not required as he gives notes ( which are use for exams). He will give you some of the exact questions on the exam to star with 5 or 10 points. He tells you what the exam would look like. Take him ! you wont regret it

Professor Themeli is a great teacher and really enhances his presentations with his humor. His lessons are very well-planned out and easy to follow. Attendance isn't necessary but you'll need the notes to do well on exams (ours included multiple choice, true/false, and short answer). Professor Themeli is brilliant in his delivery and mastery of the subject. His style of teaching is engaging to the point where some may not realize it's a lesson. In the class I had, those who had decent ethics to begin with "got it", and those who were more self-centered and materialistic did not understand the depth of content.

I have always been weak in math and taking this class as a summer course definitely had me nervous. Themeli broke it down and made it easy for me. Pay attention and do the HW's and youre golden. Professor Themeli is an amazing professor. He always writes everything on the board so you have solid notes for the tests. And he goes over the entire lesson from start to finish regardless of where the class last left off to make sure everyone understands everything. Tests are also very straight forward; everything is from the notes.

This professor has an abstract way of explaining the material. The tests account for 90% of the grade. If you are strong in understanding quantitative material hes an easy A. If you need more support in this field, I suggest a different Professor.

Took him for a summer class. Just a heads up, the majority of questions for the midterm and the final are questions from the homework or from the practice worksheet. They are the exact same or with some small changes. I like him but he just wastes so much time in class with jokes and other stuff, gets a little annoying

He teaches statistics in a very easy to understand way. Barely gives out homework and reuses homework problems on the tests. Spends most of the class telling stories and cancels class every now and then for no reason.

He cares and his goal is to ensure you understand and can do well on the exams; midterm and final. Ensure you do the worksheets provided for homework as the exams may be similar. Super fun lectures and he's a hilarious person. He's not trying to make it hard and you really just need to take notes and study them for the exam. There's 4 homeworks during the semester that are straight out of the notes. The exams can have a few curveballs, but he's a generous grader. Go to class, study for a few hours, and you'll get the A

He was probably one of my favorite professors at Fordham, he knows how to explain the material very clear to students who never taken stats. I was able to understand everything that he taught me in Stats I. Yes midterm and final grade percentage is scary to look at, but trust me you will understand the work base off his lectures!

Great Professor, I loved his lectures he broke down stats so well enough that I was able to understand the material, just beware that he only grades two things the midterm and then final but if you study enough you should be fine. P.S don't spend an all nighter for his midterm make sure to study beforehand.
