Loved the class!!!!!

Boris is extremely helpful. Wonderful teacher, A+++ teacher. He makes everything in math easy and shows you great short cuts. Highly Recommended. If you need help in math, go to him. I wished he taught my math class in the fall. :)

I love professor Boris!!! I think he is one of the greatest math teachers I have ever had. When he teaches, he puts his emotions and all his feelings into it which I find it to be very adorable.. He is determined that you understand what he is teaching in his class. Very good quality for a teacher to have.

He comes to class ready to teach and if we have any problems with a question, he goes back and see whether or ont you made the mistake or he made an error. he's also not ashamed of being wrong. he makes mistakes and he fixes them :)

Explains everything thoroughly,helps out as much as he can for example if you answered a problem wrong, he will try to find your matake and help you with the problem. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Professor Raskin is a very sweet guy and very considerate. He loves when you ask questions and when he makes a mistake and you correct him he gets happy. He has a good sense of humor but he takes teaching seriously. When you take his exams they are not a surprise because it is always on what he has mentioned and textbook material.

He has a sense of humor and is very nice to everyone, unless you don't do what you are supposed to do. He is willing to help students as much as they need. He's cool.

Boris! He's an amazing teacher. Prio his class, I hated math. Now, I love it! He makes math so easy to understand. If I ever had any problems, I would simply raise my hand and without any questions he would clearly answer it. All the tests are fair to the material learned in class and to top it all of, he had an amazing sense of humor!

I LOVE boris. He is my favorite professor. Hes amazing, clear, he teaches at a great pace, hes halarious and his work is fair. Even if you've always hated math and feel retarted in a math class you will understand and pass !

He is a great professor and even though he sometimes likes to solve the problem rather than explain it, he is an overall great person. I would definitely recommend him and I wish I could take his class again! Don't just take his class because of math but because of his corny jokes too :) haha

Boris was a great teacher had him for the HEOP summer session. He grades leniently and gives you a chance to get every point on his exams. Expect to get an exam every week, with a review sheet for homework every weekend. He explains everything thoroughly, which causes lack of participation, but still ask question if you do not understand.

Best professor I have had so far, very helpful if you don't understand something he will help. Very clear and gives lots of examples and just overall gives a huge amount of support. Very cool guy and is very relaxed in the classroom. dropped my lowest test and that really helps if you mess up once.

Very Helpful! If you don't understand a math problem, he can automatically help and explain what is going wrong. He is also funny and gives very well explanations on how to approach a difficult question.

The professor Boris Raskin responds all the students questions. He is respectful of his students. Professor tries to explain each task in detail. And he offers help if students need it.

I am a freshman and I was really nervous for my first class and for my first professor. But after my first class with Professor Raskin, I was grateful because he always asked us if we understood the topic or if we have any questions. He always gave us less and easy homework. And I would be LUCKY and GRATEFUL to have him as my professor again.

Professor Raskin did an amazing job teaching the IMAT over the summer. If you come to class every day, listen to the lectures and ask questions, you will do great. The biggest help was doing ALEKS. It bridges the gaps between the lessons and was an awesome tool. ALEKS is your best friend! Use it! Prof was so kind and cared about his students. A+

He is a great teacher. He explains things very well. He's passionate about the subject. He is patient and understanding. I wouldn't mind having him again for any other math class. He used different exercises to help students understand a concept. Showing some tricks to do different things made it easier for me to get certain things.

I'm amazing how the professor teaches class by using Aleks app that help me a lot with understanding and remember things I forgot in high school. I was amazed by Aleks and I will use it for learning and for my kids for them to learn too.

The Alek program made it possible for me to get reacquainted with math skills that were dormant and bring about an astonishing grade.

He is one of the greatest, and most patient.He pushes us to study on the Aleks platform. Home work, and class work is always given on this platform. He never had any problem with going over the material until every last one of us understands. I really wish he could be my professor for my next math class. Overall he is the greatest.

He is willing to break down / review the math problem over and over with different examples. when you have any questions comments or concerns! The best part is he saves us money by providing PDF worksheets and homework to practice.

It always gave a good explanation and breakdowns to each math problem, if needed. Honestly, anyone can pass as long as you listen in on the lectures :)

Professor Raskin is a caring and thoughtful lecturer. I entered this math course completely intimidated by the subject material. I historically was not good at math, but he was able to walk the class through the basics while slowly ramping up the difficulty until I eventually felt more confident.
