Bozena Todorow is the worst professor ever at Ryerson. Try avoiding her in every respect.Dont take differential equations with her, she is terrible. Horrible teaching in every course!
GO jump infront of a moving vehicle or write her exam. Ahead of time,,never take any course with this woman. she murders your mark on finals. 13 questions in 3 hours, and most not solvable!!Ryerson,u can do better!!!!!!

Nice lady but very hard to follow her accent. I don't know if she speaks to us in English or Russian. Her tests are rpretty challenging (ie hard).
worst prof at Ryerson University. I am a straight A student and she gave me the only C grade on my transcript. SHe can't teach, she is boring, and will make you hate math for sure. Drop her class immediately and transfer to another prof's section.

Ineffective communication skills. Disorganized lectures. Midterm questions were phrased in the most ambigious ways possible. VERY confusing at large. Can't avoid because she's the only one teaching this god-forsaken course! *sigh*

GOD SPEED if you have her for ANY course. Just copy everything from her notes onto cheat sheet (oh yea..no NUMERICAL examples..big hint) DOn't worry if you don't understand what she's saying. That's normal. If you understand what she's talking about...you need to go see a doctor.
She's a really nice lady. If you keep quiet in class, pay attention and give her respect she will be very nice to you. I admit she can be hard to follow at times, but that's what her office hours are for. She's more helpful one to one. It was a tough course but I survived by going to her office.

Teaching is obviously not one of Todorow's forte. Confusing notes and disorganization makes her lectures very, very hard to follow. Not to mention she's absolutely totalatarian when it comes to marking. Summary: garbage.

She's a tough marker, But extremely helpful. Her notes are pretty good and studying them were enough for me to do pretty well in the course.
You must attend her classes, as she has no textbook to follow along with. Her notes are a bit unorganized, but follow along during the lecture, annotate the notes, and re-organizing them after class should suit you well. Her class examples are very good too. She's also very good at explaining the material, so use her office hours if need be.
She is a very dedicated and helpful prof.Make sure you use he office hour and notes,cuz the book is writen in Clingon.Attend every class and follow her, because this is a killer course.
If you're looking for a professor with no ethics, she's the one. You can get a terrible mark in her class and still end up with an A, if you go to her office few times and talk to her about her plants! she doesn't care whether it's fair to other students or not, she just increases the mark of whoever she wishes to!!

At first - very difficult to understand (foreign accent) but stay with her - she knows her stuff and you soon recover from the accent. Very conscience of difficulities experienced by her students - really almost spoon feeds the material. Show up wide awake.
One of the best professors I ever had! Extremely helpful, fun and dedicated to her work. Make sure to attend every lecture and take notes as there is no textbook for this course and a lot of problems she solves in class show up on the quizzes/tests. As for those who call her mean and rude - get a sense of humor ppl, she's just kidding.

Horrible Teacher
She is very disorganized with her notes and lectures. She does not write her notes on the board from left to right but prefer to jump around from small spaces to other small spaces. She does not give clear titles or explanation for the lesson and ignore potential questions. However, she is very helpful if you go to her office hours.

Horrible teaching style. Cannot understand her, and she teaches as if she expects us to already know everything. If we ask a question or don't simultaneously answer hers, she begins to yell at you. Do not ask any questions. Her whiteboard notes tell me nothing.. I guess she's right when saying "only logic can help you".
Terrible teacher, has no idea how to present the course material. It is actually not that hard if you dont listen to her. The moment you ask her a question she goes super sayian and berserk on the student. Do not make the mistake of asking or not answering her question ever!!! or else its over for you. Good luck in the class, it's good for laughs!!

RUN AWAY!!! she doesn't teach she just writes on the board and talks to herself. she asks questions to the TA and assumes everyone else understood.
She is by far one of the best teachers i have ever had. She knows her material and conveys it very well to the students. Pay attention in class and read her hand outs....

go to class&doall the problems in her handouts-Musts to get a good grade.my experience is that she is much nicer during spring/summer than during fall/winter.You will learn alot in class&her exams are tough coz of the less time factor.Yes,she can be rude,but its usually to people she doesn't like in class, so try not to get noted.

She is the best prof. I've had so far in university. If you attend lectures, take note, and solve her handout problems, you should be fine with midterm test and the exam. She's nice too.
Terrible prof. Her notes are extremely hard to follow, not to mention how fast she writes. Even when the whole class asked her to slow down, she ignored us. She'll even ignore you when you're trying to ask a question. Good luck.
Professor Todorow is very dry and her lessons are irritating. More time is spent on trying to understand the point she tries to get across than the actual material itself. Her condescending tone also deters any learning where it comes to a point on how much one is willing to tolerate. The material itself is not difficult, its just the prof.
Hated this course because she made me hate it.... A 40% on the final was a good mark... The way she marks, even statistics proff's might fail... And teaching is not the best either, she is a cruel person...

The material is easy to follow, her lectures and notes are not.
Took Statistics with her. She is the only prof for statistics. This class is no walk in the park. If you work hard and attend her lectures you have a chance passing her course. Do not skip any classes or tutorials.
Didn't attend a single class. Ended up with an A. Definitely requires work. I studied out of a statistics textbook I found myself and did select problems from her textbook. Forget about her class, you can learn on your own if you dedicate the time. Attend the tutorials, the TA's are very good and that 5% is easy.
If You never had a F-grade in your life, then her course is your first F ,,,,don't expect to pass this course, unless ur super nerd
Not sure why people love to hate Dr. Todorow so much. . . she can be confusing, and seems mean, but she is actually a very nice lady, just likes to yell a lot. Easy quizzes and midterms, do you best to follow her and you'll understand what she's saying.
She comes off as being a loud, crazy, and insulting instructor, but I think it's purely for entertainment purposes. You just have to understand her sense of humour. I didn't like her so much while taking her class, but after ending with a good mark, I miss her hilarious lectures.

One of the worst professors I've ever had. Definitely take this course at Chang. Also the textbook is total crap. Find an alternative textbook if you have to have her your proff. Avoid her if you can.
The prof is extremely unhelpful, knows her stuff but can't teach. Lectures are boring, doesn't speak clearly plus her handwriting makes it miserable. Notes posted online are extremely unprofessional and at time completely illegible. The exams are unfair, plus she marks really hard. The course overall is very disorganized.
I can't say much that hasn't been said. She tries to keep the average around 60 for her classes. The material is not hard, but her teaching method made it hard for me. In 1 hour, the TA could teach what she taught in 3 hours.

The worst teacher I've ever had. Was on track to get a low C, dropped it, and took it again with another instructor, and ended up with an A+. Who in 2013 thinks it's ok to use a handwritten, self-published textbook? Word to the wise, talk to your department because MTH304 is equivalent for many, and taught by a much better prof.
Bozena is one of a kind she is genuine very old school. It might be hard to understand her form the first two classes because of her accent. She teaches form her heart. I leave each lecture and ive learned something.
Best professor ever! Midterm was very challenging but final was easy 30 students got A+ in this course and a lot of students got B, noone got D or C! She is strict but fair! take her course you'll love it. :)
This prof is so old school and boring. Her slide notes are from the dark ages and she uses her own personal written books. Who does that? An instant income as statistically she will know how many books she sells per year. Would not be so bad if she could provide up to date slides etc.
Not looking forward to taking this with her again. She is the reason why I am willing to stall until 8th semester to take it. *cross fingers* (hoping there would be another choice.)

This class is actually not hard. People drop out because they haven't figured out how to study for this class. 1) There is a pink book and a green book. One has solved problems and one has problems with no solution. READ and UNDERSTAND the solved problems, then SOLVE the unanswered problems. 2) Tutorials are how you learn, not lectures.
I'm going to be honest here. She seems like she is a nice person, but she is not a good prof. More than half the class dropped out after the horrid exam which majority failed. Her tests are hard and the final is worth 60%. I regret not taking this class in Chang. Also, she is a picky and hard marker.

I had stats with her, and got a decent mark. Tip for math classes: Do your homework. It's not mandatory like first year but if you do her problems, you'll do well in the course. The midterm was difficult but its easy to bounce back since she makes the final worth 65% plus bell curves. Don't quit after the midterm because the final is easier
Pretty good professor overall. The midterm and final were both extremely fair. The lectures are for the most part clear. The only downside is that she writes the textbook and there are only example questions, no introduction or theory to the chapters. In addition, the weekly quizzes were pretty easy. If you study, you will get a good mark.
