Good teacher. I took his online test. Three pages due anytime during semester, one project, three test. No quizes. Tests are somewhat hard, but he grades on a curve, so if you study, you can easily get an A.
I hate the fact this is an internet course. Three tests, one group project (the dreadful part - not worth much, however), two questions to answer for all 16 chapters on the discussion board, two papers (4pgs each) and some informal discussions. The tests can be difficult, but I averaged 75s on them without studying and obviously - open book.
This class is very difficult and takes a LOT of time to be even marginally successful. Prof Biglow is a bit arrogant and does NOT treat this course as an "introductory" level...it is very in depth for an intro level course. Not enough grading throughout the term to *really* know where you stand or if you're answering the discussion questions right
Great professor. Responds to questions fast and is very intelligent. You must keep up with discussion questions because they are as many points as one test. His test are easy and this summer he let us take the tests twice and keep the better of the two grades. Read read read! If I could take another online course with him I would. Overall, great course!!!
I took his online cultural anthropology class. Sooo interesting and not very difficult either. Even online, he showed an interest in the subject matter and the students. He was always very heplful and very accessible. I would highly recommend his class. Extra credit opportunities!!!!!
Took the online course, I was very surprised that he even provided and online version of the 6th Ed. book. Very helpful and understanding teacher. Interesting class, discussions, 2 papers @ 5 pages long on assignd articles and four exams. If you keep up and read, the class is a breez. Highy recommend!
Very interested in the topic. One of the books was incredibly boring and hard to follow but all the test questions came directly from the notes he provided.
Great teacher! Made the class interesting. Attendance is mandatory and part of your grade. As long as you show up and take notes and do the study guides you will get an A.
Also has a profile under UNF you should check out. Doesn't teach, just goes through powerpoints. Doesn't make sense. Doesn't answer questions clearly. Tests are so confusing and cover things not taught. Makes you do lab work that counts toward grade before even exposing you to relevant course material. I would stay away if you can find someone else
Awesome class! Very interesting. Yes, it's a LOT of work, but if you're into this stuff you will love it. Please note - do not call him MR! DR or Professor only! He knows his stuff and sometimes forgets that we maybe beginners. But if you do your work and pay attention, you will get a good grade! quick to email!!!
I have taken 2 courses with Dr. Biglow so far and when I move to UNF, I plan to take more of his courses. I'm an Anthro major and I learned a lot from his teaching. There is a LOT of reading, and the tests are pretty easy. If your lazy, you will fail. If you do the work, you will get an A. If your not an Anthro major, shop elsewhere for easy grades
Dr. Biglow is knowledgeable, interesting, involved with the students, and very fair! I love both classes I took from him: Anthropology, and also Prehistoric Archaeology. Highly recommend him!
ookkkaay. He is a good teacher, get on his good side and you will be all set. has a know it all attitude, but lots of experience in field. you have to read a decent amount, but all in all it was a great class.
uhhhkayyy. Dr Brad Biglow PhD was a good teacher. The class is easy and if he likes you you're set. He has alot of field experience and likes to tell stories about it. He has a bit of a know-it-all attitude and tends to shut you down if you question him but he makes sure you understand everything too. Overall he was a good teacher
I am not an ANT major but I found much interest in this class! He CARES ABOUT HIS WORK AS WELL AS HIS STUDENTS! Do what you are assigned on time, read articles and watch videos & it IS an easy A.. Don't do your work & you won't get an A! Dr. Biglow is passionate & it's catchy. I recommend him again & again! Hope to take his next class physical ANT!
Enjoyed the on-line course; wish I had taken this during a longer term so that I could have gotten more out of it though! Interesting topic and Professor Biglow is highly recommended. Loads of reading was needed and some of it was a bit dry but overall would recommend the course and instructor.
I took the 8 week online course with Dr. Biglow and LOVED it. Reading intensive, writing skills a must. I took this along with 5 other courses and made an A. 2 discussion questions per chapter of the book. Responses to students are helpful in further questioning and understanding hte material. Hope to take physical anthro with Dr. Biglow as well.
Took Dr. Biglow in an 8 week online class. It is extremely intense. You will learn a lot but be prepared to work hard. Personal opinion is not really relevant answer according to what is right not what you would do. He is a good person and extremely intelligent. Like I said just be prepared to study hard and dedicate A LOT of TIME!!!!!
BORING, would not recomend, I was totaly siked in the begining and now I basically fall asleep in class, its powerpoint after powerpoint, project after project. HORRIBLEEEEE!!!! i promise if you take this class you better be prepared to work. He thinks this is the only clss your taking so he piles up on work!
RUN. I took this class as a last resort and I regret ever considering it. The class is boring-powerpoint after powerpoint and low quality videos. The exams are difficult-you have to intensely read the book and the exam review is LONG. If you miss a class, you have to watch the videos online which no one wants to do. I wouldn't recommend this class.
I would recommend you not take him. The class is really boring, there's four tests that are really hard and you have to read each chapter thoroughly to even hope for a decent grade. He goes off topic a lot and it's just a bunch of power points.
Test are extremely hard! Lots of reading. He is really boring, I often wear ear plugs because I can't stand his lectures. Know it all attitude and he acts like he is better then everyone. He is always talking about himself and expects you to memorize the book. All and all I will never take his class again if I could have dropped it I would have!!
RUN unless you are good at kissing up to get a better grade. Vague & misleading test questions, tests made harder than necessary, wastes 1/2 of class time on BSing & tooting his own horn, deducts points on labs just because (labs make no sense), doesn't like to clarify questions, power issues, always justifying himself as to students' bad grades.
Great for anthro majors like myself. Not so great for people who want an easy A. this class is ALOT of work but if you are interested it isnt so bad. there are also xtra credit ops, one is a field trip. there is a group project which I didn't like but I can't complain, cause I got an A :)
I'm an Anthro. major, so I had to take both of his classes (cultural and physical Ant.), and they weren't that bad. They are interesting, but a lot of work! Be prepared to do a ton of reading, and don't take this hoping for an easy A.
SO BORING. His lectures are long and he trails off all the time. To pass I had to read the book for myself because I didnt get anywhere with the lectures. If you read all of the text yourself you will be fine, but dont depend on his teaching.
He wasnt a bad prof but wasnt best. there was 2 much reading in chps in small periods of time before quiz/tests. I didnt have trouble understanding material if I read textbook but lectures werent sufficient 4 doing well on tests. He's also condescending when asked for help. Gaveme low partic pts on group project even tho I did most of the work!
Took both Anthro classes (high B in the 1st, currently working for an A in the 2nd). He lectures on main topics in the book, but DOES expect you to read the book. He's very structured, makes class fun, but NOT an "easy A" professor like most students want. Gives detailed study guides and some extra credit. Definitely one of my favorite professors!
LISTEN TO ME! Do not take this class unless you intend on being extremly bored the entire time and like reading a textbook. His lectures consist of him blabbering on about about one thing, the huichol indians. You will learn NOTHING from him. Everyone that took this class wished that they had dropped it. Im telling you, No!
OMG i can not believe some of the comment about this professor i took this class right after receiving my ged from fscj i had not been in school since 1997 i loved this class he taught with excitment and made anthropolgy come to life if you have chance take this class i learned so much about different culture prof biglow is awesome
If you are going to take an Anthropology class with him, please make sure you already have a good understanding about it. Along with being able to learn, work and study on your own. You will not learn anything in class, it's all on your own time. Read and re-read your texts and any extra books he suggests!!
Really informative and fun class, not an easy A but worth the time and effort. I highly recommend this class if you have any interest in archaeology. Just remember to study and read the textbook!
Dr. Biglow is an interesting person. The course is not very hard, the subject matter is some what interesting - keep in mind he's a PhD so it's his life. Class is passable, prof is helpful.
Great teacher! Very enthusiastic about the subject. Provided great lectures (slideshows) to go along with the textbook. Provided interesting videos on topics covered in class. Provides extra credit at end of semester. Fun group labs. Great class!
Prof. Biglow is great, has experience, knows what he is talking about, and enjoys doing it. In my class we had to do a presentation on a topic we choose there are 3 tests and 1 optional final, online quizzes, and extra credit opportunities. GREAT CLASS!
He is passionate about the topic which keeps it from being boring. Not an EASY A, but it is possible with effort. Very approachable and tries to help if help is needed and asked for.
He's pretentious and obnoxious, so I didn't like the class, but it's easy enough to get an A in. The subject matter is interesting enough. Online tests and quizzes, along with weekly discussions. He has an organized teaching style and if you do the work you should do fine.
This guy is obviously passionate but his lectures are horribly pointless. He trails off on little stories all the time and in a 50 minute class, that wastes my time. The guy talks about himself a lllooottt. everything you need to know for the tests, you must find out for yourself
I just did his final exam. So hard! Don't get me wrong, he is definitely passionate about his topics, however, he is not the best at teaching it. Our class was 50 minutes long and I really didn't learn much. He's a nice guy, and I don't know if it was because the short class or his teaching style. Everything is online, so quizzes weren't bad.
I took this class as an elective and I honestly wished I would not have. 50 minute classes are pointless with this guy because he talks about nothing. You have to read your textbook word for word in order to understand what is going on because he trails off during lectures. He is condescending and if I could have dropped this class I would have.
Prof. Biglow deserves to be teaching at a 4-year university. He's an easy professor as long as you do your work and pay attention. I hardly ever read the chapters, just studied terms, and followed the study guide and I finished with a 98%. He gives you 50 free points to start, and offers up to 50pts extra credit as well.
Dr. Biglow is an amazing professor. There is alot of reading and studying required, but what do you expect? This is college, not high school. He will go over information again and again to make sure everyone understands, all you have to do is ask. Follow his study guides you will ace every test. Plus, he offers up to 100 extra credit points.
Professor Biglow has helped me out quite a bit. I was in the middle of taking my midterm for his class online when it unexpectedly shut down on me and I couldn't retake it. He gave me two extra days to get it done, it was awesome!
Didn't like him. He rambled & got off topic way too much!! Only took his class for the credit, if you can find someone else better, DO IT. Don't take him voluntarily unless you registered late and you're desperate. Tests were hard, quizzes are online, easy, and multiple attempts. He gives extra credit. Labs are alright. Wouldn't take him ever again
Prof Biglow is very passionate and involved in with Anthropology, its his life, and gears his lectures as such with personal examples. He will go off topic to explore with his students bringing them into his world. As long as you do the labs and reading & take full advantage of his study guides, you should have no problem with this class.
he is a nice teacher, sometimes gets out of topic, but is because he loves what he does and what to help students to learn.
Professor Biglow is very interesting and can be helpful if you need him. The tests aren't to hard, you just have to read the chapters and study. He has a great personality and lets his students speak their mind. Highly recommend.
Hes sarcastic if you ask him questions and a few times he tested on chapters he never taught. He did give test study guides but they were broad. He also gives one extra credit assignment. When he gives lectures he gets distracted a lot on off topic things. Attendance is extra credit also.
he talks too much i wished that could sleep in his class. tests are hard on 5 chapters that he didn't talk about . is study guide is broad. 5 timed quizzes before test.
I took him for anthropology online, easy A if you do the work. it was an 8 week course so there are 2 chapters to read a 2 quizzes and 2 discussions. However because of all the work, its not required to respond to others. You do have to contribute to the cyber cafe, but not a difficult task. I enjoyed the material and would recommend him.
one of my Worst classes everrrrr. may because im not interested in this subject. if you think you love weird conversation take his class and put in ur mind to read four chapters every three to four weeks . no homework, no pip quizzes
Great professor, a lot of reading this was an 8 week course so 2 chapters a week. 2 discussion boards a week and a 2 quizzes and 2 exams for the course. He does given an opportunity for extra credit. A lot of work but if you do it will be an easy A. Highly recommend him if you must take this course.
Defers from the lesson plan to talk endlessly about his life in the field. Tests are long and full of questions that aren't covered in the multiple chapters required to be read each week or in the bare bones power points he posts . He was rude when I came to him for help. Extremely abrasive and unhelpful. Don't ignore his terrible reputation. RUN!
His lectures are extremely boring, long, and he goes off topic. I only took this class for credit, I didn't enjoy it. He's passionate about what he teaches, offers up to 50pts extra credit, quizzes are taken until you're satisfied with your grade up until the due date. His tests are kind of difficult. Its possible to pass this class but boring.
Great online professor. had him for 16 week semester, discussion board with 2 questions and a 10 question quiz every week. 3 exams throughout the entire course, pretty clear on what he's expecting from you. definitely recommend for an online class.
Pretty good professor. Not a harsh grader or anything. If you do the work, you'll pass. He gives amazing lectures and you can expect to watch a lot of films.
Not much homework outside of reading, which you will do a lot of. Only 4 test and 4 quizzes. Lectures are interesting but often veer off topic. He is passionate and reserves his energy for students interested in learning. You get 25 bonus pts upfront & can earn 50 w extra credit so there is no reason to freak about the tests, which are hard.
Assigns tons of writing assignments. Syllabus is a complete mess. Due dates vary in the syllabus for the same assignment. It seems I was in Economics more than Anthropology which I didnt like. This class is more about Applied Anthropology than a cultural perspective. However, he's super cordial and helpful so that helps balance the difficulty.
This class is passable if you study the materials and remember that there are online grades... he never reminded us or verbally told us about the online quizzes so i completely missed the window for the first 5 of them and didn't get a grade for those. Study for those tests! He gives extra credit, take it!
Professor Biglow was nice but his lectures were boring and he didn't really explain things too well. It was still easy to pass but I learned everything from studying on my own.
I actually ended up really liking this class! The information was interesting and the teacher made it easy to pay attention and learn! The tests were very hard, but as long as you do the assignments and study, you should be fine.
He's passionate about his field. Offers 1000 pt grading system with possible 75 pts extra credit. If you read the syllabus & assignments, show up, and do what he asks it should be an easy A. It is your responsibility to know what is going on in the class. Don't wait for someone to prompt you to do your work. Have take before and would take again
This class is mainly reading and learning specific information. Its your job to read the material and he touches base on them in class during lecture. Lots of reading. Hands out pretty clear study guide. He's passionate about anthro but if your not, this class might be a little boring. Nice guy.
Professor Biglow is a great person but I would not recommend taking his class. Every class I always thought to myself why am I here? Im not even listening, it is so boring! All he does is go over a powerpoint but 1 slide takes about 10min because he goes off topic. You need the two books he assigns and you need to read! Tests are kinda hard.
If you take this class right out of high school, you probably will not enjoy it. If you are used to lecture and test style classes, this is an easy one. If you do the reading (it's not the much, but there is some each class) and show up to lectures, you will pass. Only grades are 4 tests (one takehome!) and a paper. No final. He gives studyguides
Read text almost cover/cover but the work was easy. Follows syllabus exactly. 16wk class had 2-3 disc boards & 10Q quiz every wk w/multi attempts, 50Q tests x4, 800w reflection paper at end of term. Offered EC paper. Made study guides if asked. Tons of resources/videos in BB. Accepts NO late work. Do the work and it's almost impossible to fail.
4 tests study no joke, quizzes online w multiple attempts, labs are easy just listen to directions. attendance and essay for extra credit (he will not remind u) and will grade word for word also final is a lab and it has extra credit too. pay attention to skull human and animal he shows in class and write them down bc it's on the final to identify
Dr, Brad is awsome.
Loves his field. If you are considering anything in the field of Anthropology, take him.
This is probably the most unorganized class I've ever taken and I'm only on week 3 of this course. He says we only have 1 discussion board a week but yet it includes 2 questions that need separate threads. It looks like a mess. Why not just make 2 separate boards? Nitpicks at everything and some of his questions make little to no sense. Stay away.
Easy A, all you have to do is do the work on time! Really easy-going professor and is clear on his expectations. Lots of discussion posts.
To start, the book is 416 pages long and the size of an atlas. You read the entire book for the course instead of lecture. The coursework is to read about two chapters in the book a week and then take a 10 question quiz on each chapter. Then, you answer 2 discussion questions per chapter (at least 10 sentences). Overall, busy work but no challenge
Dr. Biglow is a very easy-going and funny professor. There is a decent amount of reading to do in his class, but nothing extraordinary. He is clear in his expectations and grading, and pretty accessible outside of class if any extra help is needed. If you do the basics (reading your text and paying attention in class) it shouldn't be too difficult.
He was an ok professor. The lecture is boring and drawn out, but maybe that's because I didn't enjoy the topic. The book is useful for the exams and quizzes which I took online, if you take this class take the hybrid. There was a reflection paper due at the end, quizzes with multiple attempts, 4 exams and question sheets on films once in a while.
Reads directly off powerpoint but each slide takes 15 mins because he goes off topic and talks about completely random stuff. This was the most boring class I've taken maybe because I wasn't interested at all. Tests are weighted heavy and most material wasn't even on his slides (very bare boned) study guides are very broad so they don't help.
Class was easy. Everything is available in the book or blackboard.
Did not enjoy. There's a sign-in sheet passed out at the beginning of class, there's EC for 100% attendence:not worth it. All his classes are one big jumbled lecture that's not even on topic. You'd do a whole lot better off at home studying the book and taking (and retaking) the online quizzes. All tests are questions pulled from those quizzes.
I would definitely take again, quite a bit of reading, but assignments are straight forward and he always provided great feedback, also offers an extra credit paper which is always nice.
The class is okay. The discussions are a bit hard sometimes and it can be hard to tell if i'm answering them right. He only gives us 10 minutes to complete a ten question quiz, I understand its to prevent cheating, but sometimes it takes me over a minute to comprehend the question and read the answers. I feel a minute per question is unfair.
Professor Biglow is a good professor. He expects his students to read and know the material. Quizzes and tests are timed so if you don't read or study, you're not going to do as well. He takes time to meet with students if they feel it is needed. Would recommend if you're interested in Anthropology!
It is easy to get a good grade in his class, but EVERY week he gave us a quiz. His lectures are interesting if you are interested in different cultures.
Honestly this class was an escape for me. Hes a professor thats really involved and I loved that about this class. Its a lot of reading but it was worth the read. Hes very specific with grading and as long as you follow instructions you should be good.
Lecture based - so be prepared to listen and ask questions via text/chat room. He is funny at times and makes learning about anthropology pretty fun. I would recommend him to family if that says anything. Read the material and make sure you take advantage of the unlimited attempts on quizzes. I found that quizlet was a great resource for study.
Super easy A in class as long as you do the work. There were a few times I waited until Sunday to do homework and still made an A on the assignments. You generally have quizzes and discussion posts every week. START WORKING ON CYBER CAFE AS SOON AS CLASS STARTS.
I really loved this professor. I enjoyed his lectures and found him very engaging. My only critique is I feel there was an excessive amount of reading.
Knows his stuff. Would definitely take another class from him.
Prof Biglow didn't follow the grading criteria that he had in the syllabus for the discussion questions. He said they had to be at least 10 sentences, but still took off points for being too short. Overall, he was a tougher grader than most professors I've had at FSCJ. Once you figure him out and his grading out, he's okay.
Teacher stands up at the front of the classroom, talks about "anthropology," doesn't provide interesting work or even meaningful work, half of the class is asleep or playing with there phone, others are doing other classes work. This entire class has made me completely disinterested. Brain is melting for the amount of work it does to keep me awake
He is good..You read 1 chapter a week and there is one quiz & discussion question based on that chapter. There are 4 total exams. Exams are not open book but are fairly easy if you read the material. There is also Cyber Cafe which is required and is worth a fair amount of points towards your grade. You can't do it all at once so keep that in mind !
Professor Biglow was enthusiastic about his subject, clear and concise with the material, and readily available outside of classes.
I took this course as an online/in person hybrid. The lectures were in person and quizzes/tests were online. Quizzes and tests are pretty easy. The reason I said attendance is required is because he gives extra points to those who attend the class for the entirety of the semester. Quizzes every week and some other homework throughout the course.
You need the required textbook to do any of the assignments. Weekly discussion boards and weekly chapter quizzes. The papers we were required to write and the exams were easy! Lots of extra credit available as well! A nice experience even if anthropology isn't my favorite subject.
I will definitely take this professor again my class was online and it was one of the easiest class ever. Quizzes every week but very easy. And the final was easy as well
I'm an engineering major and I still really enjoyed this class. Lectures sometimes went off topic but were still fun to listen to. I did a hybrid section, so there was plenty of reading. However, he gives you unlimited quiz attempts on at home quizzes, so you could read the summaries, take notes, and review quiz attempts to understand the material
Professor Biglow was a great professor. Lectures, quizzes, and homework almost every week but it is nothing extreme. He is very understanding and cares about the class/his students. If you try it will not be difficult to pass his class, and you will definitely learn something. Overall I highly recommend him.
Discussions and quiz for every chapter, midterm, final and a reflection paper. Fairly easy, he takes a little longer to grade but he is fair. Overall easy A.
Professor Brad Biglow was a great instructor! He responded to emails quickly and had clear grading criteria. Although this was not my favorite class, the time you put into the weekly assignments and studying will pay off! Make sure to study the textbook thoroughly by using the study guides and ebook resources.
This is the most mid professor. I got a B on my own accord. Make sure you read. The exams aren't the easiest. This professor talks ALOT mostly going off topic. I regretted choosing this professor only because his lectures are insanely boring and he's never on topic. BUT if you want a relatively easy class, choose this professor.
Professor Biglow was a great teacher. His course work was easy as long as you read the text, watch the videos and try. The only reason I rated his class difficult was the exams. The study guides he gives are not very helpful and the exam questions are mostly from very hidden parts of the texts. DO THE CYBER CAFE THROUGH THE WHOLE CLASS!
This class was the most busy work I have ever had to do in college. 2-3 chapters a week of reading with a 10 sentence discussion and quiz on each chapter due every single week. The work just never ends and he takes the entire semester to grade so you never know if you're doing assignments correctly. Four exams 60 questions each.
Worst professor I have ever had with the most amount of work. Harvard level course at FSCJ. Do yourself a favor and don't sign up for him
If you are okay with writing a lot then this class is for you. It has a lot of homework and pretty boring but you can easily get an A if you apply yourself. He will catch you cheating so don't try.
There are least 2 long discussions a week with kinda heavy writing but very heavy reading. He isn't a tough grader, usually a 10/10 for having a decent attempt. BUT he accused me of cheating on an exam because my canvas said I left the site during an exam that wasn't proctored. He wouldn't listen to anything I had to say and gave me a zero.
Took the course because he had a bunch of good reviews but now seeing all the others recently posted I have to agree with them. An OUTRAGEOUS amount of work for this class. He does not teach anything just has 6 assignments a week that have to be 10 sentences each. If you don't fully apply yourself you will easily fail.
Interesting and caring professor. Can tell he is invested in our learning.
Not gonna lie Professor Biglow is going to make you work for your grade but he's a fantastic professor. Really knows what he is taking about and cares about it. You will need a e-textbook and you will do A LOT of reading for this class but if you can take the time, you can make the A. He's tough but he is a fair professor and worth taking!
The work for the class was easy, a quiz and discussion every week, 4 exams, 1 paper, and an addt. weekly discussion. Lots of reading but I enjoy reading naturally and the subject itself is interesting. I didn't like how little he interacted in the discussions, and he was slow at grading also didn't really provide any feedback. Not bad but not great
I didn't like this class. The textbook was dense and heavy and the exams drew from random, vague parts of the textbook. Exams required memorization, not comprehension. Assignments were simple and the same every week which was nice. The class, however, was gruelling due to the reading and intense studying for the exams. It was incredibly stressful.
Be prepared to memorize what you read for the quizzes. Lot of reading from a word heavy book. Does not allow for late turn in on papers, even by a day.
Classwork was mostly busy work, like quizzes and film question sheets. The quizzes are mostly memorization, same with the exams since they'll reuse questions from the quizzes. He takes a long time to grade but grading is lenient. As for the professor himself, he's very nice but tends to ramble and lectures are mostly going over powerpoints.
My yapping: His assignments open in compatibility mode... he's more than 50 years old so he's an artifact. He sends students on wild goose chases for information. He commented on how many dual enrollment students there were every other class(?). He's chill, but I don't really recommend him. I almost enjoyed the class, but I would not take it again.
Great dude, he talks a lot in his lectures that is usually just the textbook repeated, with some interjection of his own experiences. Some may find that annoying, but I thought it was a good way to solidify what we were reading. Lots of quizzes on the readings, a few written assignments, and a research paper at the end about our learning.
Heavy readings required before class with a quiz based on the information. Lecture information is boring but the professor's enthusiasm and experience is enjoyable. Provides detailed study guides before exams. Class is structured clearly. Assignments: Film Sheets (45min videos), Reading Quizzes, Exams (50 questions), 1 Reflection Paper
The irony of this class is almost impressive: a course marketed as “holistic” somehow leaves no room for life outside of it. One can't help but wonder if “holistic” here refers to consuming every spare second of your existence.
What makes this class more baffling is that this is an elective. Not a capstone, not a graduate seminar—an elective. For those who have the luxury of enrolling in classes purely to marvel at Herculean workloads disguised as pedagogy, this may be the course for you. For everyone else who values balance, growth, or sanity, consider this fair warning.
This professor is memorable, though perhaps not for the reasons one might hope. Imagine signing up for an elective expecting balance and enrichment, and instead being handed four full chapters, three dense articles, and four films for our first test all in the same week as a quiz and homework assignment. Feels like an elective punishment.
Great professor, clear instructions for all assignments and grades in a timely manner as well. His class was extremely interesting, and I would recommend this professor to anyone.
