Brad Davis was a great professor! He's young so he's really understanding with his students! He actually knows what he's talking about. Not just from a text, he's actually traveled and has real input on what he's teaching! Definitely recomend taking his class!!! Cute too!

This guy was actually one of the best teachers ive ever had in my life. Being still a student himself he know what we do an dont like na just skips right to the point of the matter. Brad Dosn't just give you the answer he actually wants you to think. The grades mainly participation based than anything else.

Take Brad Davis. If you get anything lower than a B in his class, immediately drop out of college, because you wont make it. Not because his class is that easy, but because he is crystal clear on what he expects. Don't let his young age fool you, he is wise beyond his years.

This is a class u wanna go to. We do debates and discussions based on what we read in the book. Brad is very helpful, and one way or another, by the end of class you will end up knowing what social stratification and social conflict, and all that stuff is! He is not just a dinosaur that lectures off ppts, instead he brings new ideas to class.

One of the best teachers I've ever had during the 3 years I've been in school. We use a textbook but very rarely and do more class discussion. The study guides broaden our thinking to where we're thinking outside the box and no longer in the textbook. A+ teacher, highly recommended. I believe he understands us students b/c he too is a student

Brad is one of the most fastinating professors. When he talks, you want to listen to what he says. He is extremely intelligent and knows alot about Sociology. I looked forward to going to his class. He is definitely my favorite teacher!

His class is pretty easy. show up for quizzes and tests and the rest of it can be skipped. But he's cute, you wont want to.

awesome teacher. makes class fun and enjoyable. the only work we did was a few quizzes, an easy debate, and a 3 page paper that if you have some sort of point to it he'll give you a good grade.

okay first of all, he's really hot. that being said he's a little arrogant but he makes up for it by being super intelligent. he's a great teacher. his requirements are clear and his class is relatively easy as long as you pay attention and do the work. i highly recommend taking his class.

He's kind of cute. His class is easy A if you always attend. We do not have final exam but we have research paper instead.I had a lot of good time in his class. Totally recommended.

Great teacher! Makes the class fun and interesting. Not super hard but does require effort to pass. Only homework is reading and research paper. Must do the reading if you want to pass the quizzes. Enjoyed his sense of humor.

Great teacher. You have to participate or you will fail. Keeps you awake so take his early morning class. Really makes you interested in the subject. Relatable! (he's young)

As long as you read the material you are guaranteed to pass. Makes the topic a blast, and keeps you awake. He is a student himself so he can relate if you have any issues. Had a blast and I wish he taught more classes!

Quizzes every week but no final. he's a little all over the place, and I suspect ADHD, so some days I had no idea what the lecture was about. Participate when you can and take his twice a week class, he'll learn your name and that will help your grade.

This is the best class I have taken all year. It keeps you on your toes and always laughing. He is opinionated, but to the point of things. Do the extra credits. Pay attention and it's easy.

He is awesome n very handsome! don't buy a book, even if he ask u to do so. just be there, pay attention, take notes, do extra credits and research paper. he is really nice and understandable! in his class u have to do 3 exams, hard, but still, if you'll do your extra credits, you'll pass it with an easy grade. u have to take his class!

A very good professor. He does his best to learn everyone's name by the end of the duration. He is very clear and flexible with the syllabus, as in if the class decides something he will move things around. He is interesting as well, his job is to present opinions and views on different subjects while keeping his own hidden.

Professor Davis was a bit all over the place and a lot opinionated, but overall he was a good professor. Do the extra credit assignments and participate in class and you will do fine. I got an A (97) and was not expecting it. The subject matter was very interesting, so it helped me to want to learn.

Okay here is the deal: He is very smart and fun to talk with..he actually wants you to learn. You must attend class for weekly quizes..there are 10 total. You will have one group debate, and one research paper. he wants to teach kids who are interested and willing to have class discussion. He is great.

He is an awesome teacher. He's young and up to date on things happening right now in the world. He also doesn't mind sharing his own opinions that have to do with society. Listen to his discussions and you will be sure to pass. He uses the text books everyday, but your in groups to read and answer questions.

he is a great professor! he loves what he is teaching and is so funny and cute while doing it! no tests only quizzes and he gives you extra credit and bonus points on the quizzes and you have 1 group debate! it is very doable..i got an A in the class! i highly reccommend him!

Teaches you about life and is completely relevant for everyone. Fun attitude, definitely has his own opinion but doesn't force it on anyone. You'll realllly want the textbook, as all of his quizzes come from the text as well as what he talks about in class. Lots of extra credit. He's really understanding about students' time and finances. Awesome!

Enjoyed the class! He thinks he's this 'new age' teacher with his methods and the way he teaches but it made for a pretty good class, so I guess it worked. Like any class if you don't do the work you're not going to get a good grade, but like he says just spend 30 minutes before class doing the review and you'll get an A

He's an easy professor. Just make sure you show up because he has 10 quizzes he gives throughout the semester, one debate, and a powerpoint project. Super easy if you pay attention of course. And you don't really take notes. He's cute as well, if that helps. (:

Excellent Professor!! His approach is exactly what you get in an honors class minus the extra expense and work overload. He creates an enjoyable, interactive class setting and helps the student develop critical "outside the box" thinking skills. Uses book for quizzes and modifies so an older less expensive version can be used. Take notes!! easy A

Adam Levine look alike lol ! Very friendly! Good energy! He keeps learning fun and is hilarious! Do the study guides! He even let us know that the book for his course was way cheaper on amazon vs the book store. (Which it was, it was only $4 on amazon!!!) he explains things very clearly and does offer extra credit.

Great teacher. He is very helpful when it comes to explaining things. He makes learning and the class super fun. No test just quizzes but you do have to read the chapters and study for each quiz.

I thought sociology would be boring and hard, but he made it very entertaining! The entire semester was a breeze, my easiest& most enjoyable class at Collin by far. I recommend this professor to all. Very clear and friendly in explaining things. Show up to class and LISTEN, you will score an A+ like me.

He is a great professor. The class mostly consists of discussions and going over various topics. Do not just sit in class all semester and not say anything, he wants to hear his students opinions on things we learn and go over in class. It is an easy A class, do not half ass the debate assignment, research your topic and make it a fun debate

A very fun and smart professor. the book wasnt really needed but it is useful. Attendance is not Mandatory but you will miss things if you dont go. the videos are really good and the class over-all is a very fun class.

He gives quizzes every week, so be sure to do the study guides because they will help you achieve a good grade. He's extremely nice and really wants you to do good in his class. This course was actually very interesting. I enjoyed Prof Davis because he was a good teacher and articulate. This is probably the most laidback course I've ever taken. There are quizzes every week, a three page paper, and a group debate. There is NO final in his class, which was awesome. You'll be very glad you took his class

pretty fun class, study for the quizzes! overall not super easy class but not hard. just pay attention and come to class and you will be fine! He does make you feel dumb if you get an answer wrong but try to ignore it and stay involved in group discussions.

Very cool and laid back professor, just like everyone has said. No tests or final (yay!), just several quizzes, a debate, and a typical-sized paper at the end. I really enjoyed his class. One word of warning: if you don't read the material and come to class unprepared, he may just do a pop quiz and move on to the next subject. So come prepared!

One of the best teachers I've ever had.

He's hilarious, very clear, and if you put in your work he will work with you. He doesn't take bs, but you can respect him for it. Hands down one of my favorite professors. Take this class and you won't regret it. I'll miss this class.

He is an amazing professor! Make sure you make it to the classes, and at least skim, or at the very least read the study guides at the end of each chapter. Its an Easy class if you show up, and listen. Make sure you and your class participates in his lectures, or he will just hand you the quiz. His lectures are entertaining, and he is very funny.

His class was fun and interesting. He does not give out tests which is a plus but you do have to participate in his lectures in order to pass the quizzes, he's very honest and does not hold back his opinion. I really enjoyed his class and would definitely recommend it.

This is a life changing course for anyone who takes it. It is also easy and not a single person is not interesting. There is extra credit and a few bigger assignments, but even then, not that big. Tests are harder, but if you pay attention and read the small readings, you will pass. There is one fun group project too. Amazing class.

One of the most laid back professors ever. I took him over the summer and he was so fun. He's tough though, and if you're sensitive, your feelings can get hurt. He's no joke when it comes quizzes. He also made me have a different outlook on society and now I'm very interested in the subject.

he is a good teacher but he doesn't lecture. He expects you too try an answer questions from the study guide and he'll guide you to the right answer from there. Listen when he explains concepts cause those concepts will 100% of the time be on the quiz. Use the book if you're confused despite him saying it's not a good source.

I enjoyed taking Davis for Sociology, the subject itself is really interesting. I would not take Davis if you are the type of student that can easily get your feelings hurt. Davis gets really heated about subjects and he picks on everyone he definitely has his mean moments. But he knows a lot and he structures his class well makes it easy to pass.

Mr. Davis runs things his own way. Really enjoyed his class, the man knows his stuff. Interesting to have discussions with. However: he thinks the method of teaching you're used to is awful, so he'll try to confuse you and then re-teach you his way. ASK QUESTIONS. He has a biting sense of humor, so this class is not for the weak-hearted.

He's hilarious, but he goes on tangents a lot. And much of the class is lead by the students. There will be a presentation, a debate and a quiz for almost every unit. Ask good questions or he will spring the unit quiz on you before you've even looked at the study guide, that or he'll just ridicule you in front of the whole class.
