Brad did an awsome job! He had a test every week, but it came off the notes. He is one of the best teachers i've ever had. An easy A as long as you study.

Highly energetic, a little dorky (in a good way). Seemed interested in not just what he was teaching, but the class as well. Very patient with students that had questions. He has a plant class BIO 228 that I might take simply because he teaches it. The book helped, but testing in the lecture was almost completely from notes take in class.

I took my first biology class(BIO101) with Brad at WCC. He is a lot of fun and is very connected with his students. He is silly and interesting. I can't wait to take Botany with him in the fall. This guy makes plants seem like the coolest thing in the world!

Great and easy teacher. He teaches you what you need to know (plus some, if you like bio) but if all you want to do is pass the class, great for that too. Absolutely no text book use. Great Bio teacher. Took him for a 6 week course in the Spring. He doesn't even grade the labs so you can fly through them and go enjoy a two-hour break.

He is a great guy and a good Biology prof. Has a wealth of hilarious, relevant stories that supplement the material. If you take notes and pay attention in class you'll get an A. One thing I will say is at times it seemed that we didn't cover everything we should have. At times we'd go to lab and there'd be something we hadn't covered in lecture.

His enthusiasm is beyond explanation. He loves when students ask questions, as he always gets excited being able to explain something further. He grades extremely fairly and everything you need to know on the tests will be on the slides. My viewpoint of biology has changed drastically, i find it so interesting now. Plus hes seriously hot.

I took his 2017 Fall semester Bio 162 class and also had him for lab and it was the best. He specifically tells you not to get the book and only grades you in lecture on 4 tests. No Cumulative final. Super happy and friendly unlike any teacher I've had. If you study his easy and short powerpoints thoroughly, you WILL get an A.

When I took this class, he got behind in his lectures and we never covered cellular respiration or photosynthesis, but that's my only complaint. Oh, and he doesn't use Black Board.

By far the best instructor at WCC. He is so funny and well respected. He gets through the lessons pretty good with some distracts from other random topics but that may have been just my class because people loved to engage. The bad: NO HOMEWORK, all tests. He does not post his slides and pretty much is absent from BB. That being said his lectures are simply amazing. He is extremely easy to talk to, very easy to get outside of class help with, has very clear tests and reviews, and gives huge amounts of extra credit. Ask questions actively and you'll do great.

First impression of him, was interesting.. He definitely has lots of energy and is VERY different from any instructor you'll come across. However, he is the coolest, unique and most amazing instructor by far. He's not a tough grader at all. He keeps things pretty simple, great at giving examples and answering questions. Brad Metz is really funny, if you want a teacher who strictly stays on topic do not take him but he almost always let us out early. In my class we had no homework and only seven quizzes for the whole lecture grade but he really wants you to pass so he allows for some extra credit.
