professor Ottino is really good at doing his job. taking pre-calculus was hard, but he made it very easy. He writes notes on his tablet that is projected on the screen which makes it very easy to follow what he's teaching. He posts everything online so you can always go back and check. Professor Brad was great! Took as a 7-week course and it was very manageable. As a student: show up, take notes, take tests, and you'll be fine. He goes above and beyond to set students up for success with such a fast paced course.

Prof. Ottino gave me confidence. I enjoyed taking notes in class, I made it a habit I was not so accustomed to. He does not give any tough assignments, just simple online turn-in homework. I had professor Ottino last semester and he was more than an exceptional teacher. Im not very good with math, but he made it a lot easier with all of the supplements given and teaching style he has. I recommend him to anyone, and especially those who struggle with math. You still have to study the material, but you'll find its much easier with him.

Very helpful. Focuses less on memorizing formulas and more on explaining the material so that you understand where it's coming from. Provides plenty of practice material and plenty of online videos which can re-explain the class material via his YouTube channel and MyMath Labs (which you have to buy). Gives helpful study guides.

This was my 2nd time taking the class and I couldn't have hoped for a better professor to retake the class with. He makes the tests very easy to follow from the study guides and there is nothing confusing or "new" when it came to test questions. Very thorough with explaining modules, units, and overall math. Would 1000% recommend taking his course.

Took his College Algebra class and he's great!! He's very clear on showing you how to solve any problem you ask and he makes sure you are ready for each exam by giving similar questions that are on the exam so nothing is a surprise to you. I definitely would take his class again if given the chance. Great teacher and had a great attitude!!!

This is my second time taking this class, was not understanding it last semester. This time I had Mr.Ottino as my teacher and he explained everything so clearly, and gave us so many different resources for extra help or problems. I'm doing much better this time around. (His youtube channel is extremely helpful if you get lost or miss class)

Probably one of the best professors I have ever had. Very organized, respectful, funny, and considerate. Even if you miss or don't understand a lecture he has the notes posted on his website and YouTube videos of the lecture. The reviews he gives are very similar to the test so its hard not to pass.

Professor Ottino is professional, caring, and quite honestly the best math teacher I've had. His lectures are clear and he does an exceptional job at explaining topics. MAT123 isn't an easy class but if your focused during class and complete the homework you shouldn't struggle.

Professor Ottino is great! He's got easy access tools, his own website, quick response times, and relatively clear guidelines. The only thing I would ask is to have clear instructions on how to get the textbook. That could just be a skill issue on my part, though.

Use the resources he gives out. Most of his study review guides have a YouTube review guide which has helped me pass all his test.

Professor Ottino was my teacher in my 7-week Mat123 class. He was always on time, prepared, and ready to teach with excitement. Lectures are very informational, and he uses his limited class time very effectively. The most useful material in my opinion is his online material like his YouTube videos which prepare you very well for any exam.

Had to take MATH-123 for my bachelors. Professor Ottino was great. He was very detailed and had multiple resources for help such as his YouTube channel, online notes and tutoring center hours. If he taught calculus I would take him 100%. He is a fair grader and is truly on your side to pass the class.

I took IB Math AA in high school and I've always struggled slightly understanding math but Professor Ottino has really helped me improve this. I'm not very confident in the subject because of how many practice examples we do until we completely understand the content.

Professor Ottino's adoption and use of the internet in his classes through his online notes, exam reviews, and videos has been instrumental in my understanding and enjoyment of the class. He gives plenty of extra problems, uploads notes for you, he has a youtube channel that teaches you each lesson he teaches in class, and for tests he gives you a very good review worksheet to practice problems. If you have a question about anything he is very good at answering any emails.

Prof. Ottino is a great educator! I find his youtube channel to be extremely helpful. His study guides for exams are almost identical to the actual exam. He also has witty math jokes, which lightens the mood. I was originally intimidated to take this course in 7 weeks with 4 hours classes 2 times a week, but he made it quite easy for me.

If you need to take a Precalculus course, I strongly recommend Professor Ottino. His teaching style allows for easy understanding and perfect organization. The one thing i have to say for students is to make sure to keep up with the homework, its really not alot if you just do the homework right when class ends, over all, very good class to take with mr.Ottino!

I never was good at math and truthfully always got a C or lower in high school, this is the first time I've ever received all A's on math exams. Professor Ottino teaches in a digestible way so that you are not overwhelmed and as long as you look at his study guides, they are always an exact model to what the exams look like. He was amazing!

This was my first college math class and Mr Ottino made the experience very helpful and set me up well for my future classes. Having my tests graded by the next day was amazing and kept me up to date on how I was doing very accurately.

He's really one of the best professors I've ever had. He does great with the study guides being exactly the same as the exams. The only thing I'd be wary of is that the midterm and final exam are formatted differently than his usual exams, so you might struggle a little more with those. I really appreciated that Professor Brad Ottino is tech-savvy and made his materials easily accessible. He cared a lot about making sure we understood the lessons. He would actually take the time to try and break down complicated steps into easier ones. Plus, he had some good math jokes that actually made class enjoyable. Highly recommend!

The professor is exceptionally knowledgeable and provides clear explanations of each chapter. They also distribute numerous materials to help students prepare for tests. Furthermore, they incorporate new technology to cater to the needs of the new generation.

I took Intermediate Algebra this fall semester with Mr. Ottino, and he was amazing. His lectures were very easy to understand, and his YouTube channel helped me a lot with topics I couldn't fully grasp in class. If you struggle with math or feel nervous about taking math classes, he is a great option and makes the material much less intimidating.
