Great teacher, relates everything to the real world. Identifies with students, always wants to know how to teach better. Can speak fluent english... a rare plus in the math department. I plan on taking all other courses he teaches if i can.

Good guy overall, big expectations. Attendance is important, but worth it. You learn alot in his class. Great time. but hard marker, once u get the hang of it, it isn't so bad.
His expectations are way too high...if the business world is as picky as him, we're all doomed to be failures. This class sounds easy, but be prepared for random due dates, out of order assignments, and poor instructions on content and layout of projects.
Good teacher, great at breaking down complex concepts into understandable bits of information. Made a boring class a little more interesting. I would take one of his classes again.
This is for Stats I. Great teacher. Not a hard marker at all. Fair tests and such. Do your homework and ace your tests! Easy A for most I believe...
By far one of the best stats professors ever... A gem! He clearly makes the material understandable and you will truly learn in this class.
Very great prof, found him very helpful and interactive.
He was really great, he was extremely helpful. I was failing the course and he encouraged me to stay in and said he would help me pass. Best stats teacher by far
Awesome teacher! He goes over everything several times and asks for input on what specific things the class wants to focus on if anything is unclear. He make time for you outside of his class and wants his class to do well. He is a generous marker and takes pride in how well his classes do. Definitely recommended!
Best Prof I have ever had. Extremely helpful in and out of class. Very clear in explaining all aspects of the course. Tests are fairly easy, if you have studied. Highly recommended...A+!!
Most amazing stats teacher ever! Math has always been my worst subject and it all goes over my head but the way he teaches it is very clear. Give plenty of examples and goes over things a number of times if you're confused. He constantly praised my section for being the best and you can tell her does care about the needs of students.
BEST STATISTICS TEACHER EVER!!!
Brad is probably the best statistics teacher in mru. He was very helpful and quite approachable. He goes over stuff that we don't understand, and it actually helps us learn. Overall, amazing teacher!
Awesome teacher. Very helpful.
Such a helpful and clear prof. Cares about students and their progress.
Brad is the best professor I've had at Mount Royal. Even though the class material is boring and dry, Brad teaches with energy. Very helpful and makes sure students are on track. Wonderful professor!
I took STATS I with Brad, and he was by far one of the best profs I've ever had. I'm really glad I am taking STATS II with him now. He is very organized with his lessons, really does want to help his students succeed at the course. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!
Very hard marking
Brad is probably one of the best profs at MRU. He's concise and organized with what he's teaching and very fair. I went into 2262 thinking I would probably fail the class, but he made it most enjoyable and everything was very easy to understand.
Took stats in the spring, definitely recommend! Brad was so helpful, and we did almost everything on Excel so it was super easy to learn. I could never pay attention in stats before, but Brad made it interesting! Plus, he's pretty easy on the eyes if you're into older guys ;) Don't bother buying the textbook, I didn't use it once and got an A+.
I took STATS 1 with Brad and I highly recommend him! GREAT teacher and a ton of fun in class. Interesting comment below me...hmmm...haha I am sure he appreciates it. He is top shelf.
He's awesome! One of the best profs I've had for a numbers related course. He makes stats really easy to follow, and if you keep up with the online practice problems, stats 1 will be a breeze. I plan on taking stats 2 with him as well if I can!
Took stats in the spring, definitely recommend! Brad was so helpful, and we did almost everything on Excel so it was super easy to learn. Great prof at MRU
Brad is one of the best profs I have ever had! He explains everything so well and make stats a breeze. Would definitely recommend him to anyone taking stats one or two!
very good and helpful prof.
Great instructor - very helpful and approachable. Made me enjoy stats a little more as his teaching style is engaging and tests were very fair. Highly recommended.
Very wonderful prof. Easy to approach and makes Stats alot of bearable. Funny at times and very chill. Could be a bit rush towards the end but I guess it's the syllabus. Got me though this challenging course and I recommend him to whoever hate stats. Hard your best and you'll do fine.
very helpful, and knowledgeable. Probably the best prof, and pretty funny too.
Great prof! Was worried about STATs initially but Brad made it really easy and was super approachable if you ever had problems. Attendance is a must for this course. If you miss a concept you will be in trouble.
Brad was an amazing instructor! He explained the material in a way that was very easy to follow. He is very nice and always willing to help; he wants everyone to do well! I highly recommend him.
Brad was a great teacher. Makes every class worth your time, thoroughly explains concepts and takes the time to make sure you understand everything before moving on. I had Brad for Stats 1 and 2, and in both classes I passed with a grade higher than B+ (whereas I had to withdraw the first time with Martin Haworth). I highly recommend Brad!
An absolute MUST if you are taking any stats course!
Brad is the best prof I have had at MRU. He really cares about his students and wants them to succeed. I have no interest in Stats and its not really one of my strong suits but having him as a prof made this course survivable. I would definitely recommend him if math is not your strong suit as he makes the material so much easier to understand.
Brad was a really great prof. He genuinely wants his students to do well and will go out of his way to get ideas across clearly.
Cool guy
Brad is an awesome guy! however I feel as though his teacher style is not for everyone. He tends to lean away from the textbook and teach his own unique way. I found it hard to follow his course as it did not match the textbook. You teach yourself than brad follows up with his own notes. All in all hes a decent prof but definitely a great guy!
Brad really wants his students to succeed. He tries his best to help everyone and gives good feedback. Assignments are as easy as they can be for a statistics class. However, his style of teaching is not for everyone. Especially for students who appreciate a lot of structure and organization.
"Managers will never need to know how to do the math, they'll just hire a mathematician to do it" - Brad. He is Great prof; he will do his absolute best to make sure you understand the topics. Going to the classes is recommended, however, if you cant he has them super organized online for you! Always leaves time for questions and an honest marker
Brad is a great prof, and an even better guy. Easy to approach. I found the course load to be fairly heavy, but Brad is understanding of this and gives many opportunities to work on assignments in class. Assignments are mediocre in toughness, however expect to write 3 VERY challenging quizzes at 5% each. All in all, would take Brad again for sure.
Brad is an awesome guy, his stats class is excel based meaning you do not need to know all the math you would in another business stats course. The course is still difficult but is much easier than any other stats class. Brad gives very good feedback on every test and posts hundreds of practice questions to help you succeed.
Scared of stats? Well luckily for you Brad makes stats much less scary. Obviously still important to attend class/stay up to date with lectures. Almost all of the work is on the computer/Excel based so you wont need to worry about missing certain math skills. Brad really wants his students to succeed. Great prof. would recommend.
Statistics is by no means an easy course, but it is absolutely essential that you take this course with Brad. This course is excel based and focuses on the conceptual approach to Stats rather than just the math you wont remember a semester down the road. He is also very intelligent, respectful, and a very personable guy!
This course was hard but rewarding, made me want to take another course in stats. Brad is an all around pretty cool guy.
Brad is a lit prof. I enjoyed this class, and honestly thought he did a great job at teaching it. The asynchronous videos he posted alongside his lectures made stats really easy to understand, and taught me a lot about excel and how to analyze things rapidly. Would definitely take him again whenever I'm given the chance. Awesome dude for real!
Taking stats with Brad is the way to go to ensure getting a good mark and actually taking something out of the course. Great teacher and able to explain content in different ways to help students understand what is being taught. Lectures provided are important to watch but easy to understand. Would take another class with Brad in the future
Brad is a great prof and he is super helpful! I didn't like that we had to do so many group projects in the class He gives great feedback though and make sure that you go to class and ask him questions because otherwise, you will probably be super confused.
Be prepared to receive multiple emails/announcements because of mistakes in his recorded videos. I know, it's okay to make mistakes, but for me it makes making the preprogrammed sheets difficult as I would have to go back and forth to edit. However, exams are easy and gives easy marks. He's also VERY considerate in grading exams.
Brad was awesome! Took his stats & analytics course in Winter22 so it was online then moved to in person. He's really engaging, and if you pay attention/ engage his lectures are great. Its a flipped classroom course, so there are lecture videos, and class time is used to clarify and work through examples. just watch the videos and you'll be good
Don't participate in group chats or you will be accused of cheating and forced to get 0's on tests and do a course on cheating, even if you didn't participate in the group chat once. Because of this class, I refuse group chats throughout the rest of my time at MRU. Completely terrible to accuse an innocent student of this.
Brad is honestly a great professor, he taught this class very well despite not having designed it himself. I can tell he is frustrated with the flipped classroom style, and I will warn everyone that this class isn't exactly easy. You have to do a lot of work yourself, same for all profs. However, Brad is very supportive and helpful about it.
Avoid stats with Brad! Flipped structure: tedious videos with bad audio. Passive aggressive. Confusing assignment details, careless grading, without following rubric.
awesome professor! the course is a bit demanding to begin with but if u show up it's easy to understand. I didn't like that the lectures were through recorded videos (watch on our own time) and class time is spent doing problems together. these videos were taken during covid times and seems as though they've used a temporary solution still today.
Brad was a really good prof for this course. Their are LOTS of online videos to watch for the content, but that is for any of the classes in this section as all the content is linked. But Brad is so understanding and his lectures provide a lot of clarification and he walks the class on how to make the sheets. Which you really need for the quizzes.
Participate in group chats ,read ,listen , chat him up now and then . Seems wound up or stressed ,but a good guy !
Brad is a good prof, but he is very unorganized and a hard marker. when it comes to assignments, he has a major in English so every little grammar error matters. there are LOTS of videos to watch for this class to be prepared to spend a great amount of time on this class.
He is a really fun, easygoing prof but is often passive-aggressive, and is very unorganized. often comes out with pivotal information about assignments and finals well after they're released and is a hard marker. especially when it comes to grammar and spelling. Very lecture-heavy and lots to do outside of class.
This man's a G. He is extremely understanding and wants you to do good. Although the course is tough, this prof makes it an enjoyable experience.
Took Brad's class after reading his rate my prof reviews and was expecting to have a good experience. After finishing mgmt 2262 (stats 1) with an A+ I expected similar success in this class. However, Brad has failed to prepare us properly for tests and projects as he has been extremely unclear of what knowledge application is needed. Brutal prof.
Not really sure what all these recent posts are negative... Brad is a very very understanding prof and loves to see his students succeed. Crazy to see some of these comments with students acting like they have taught a class before, and making it sound easy. He would take 2 weeks max to mark an assignment - shocker he has a life outside of school.
Very hard marker
The class he teaches is dysfunctional. Nothing on the syllabus is held up. Cancelled lectures, missed in-class activities and skipping chapters. Half the class is watching him punching in excel functions onto a tiny projector and if theres any error; Spreadsheets are gatekeeped. Makes concepts much harder using jargon and condescending langauge.
Though Brad is nice guy, he is NOT a good prof. Most positive reviews must be written from the past, because Brad has changed. When you sign up for Stats 2, DO NOT take it with Brad. *He is BRUTALLY unorganized*. On top of this, he marks things extremely hard and provides absolutely zero feedback when giving you a poor grade.
hes too fast, its hard to even understand whats going on
He was disorganized but realized it after the 1st assignment & quiz so he gave us a chance to rewrite +clearer assignment expectations. I think the complaints are from people that stopped trying. I just practiced before any quiz, regularly attended class, and a put decent effort on projects. Not the best nor the worse but class is easier than 2262
Brad is really fast with his lectures, the class time is an hour and twenty minutes but he would choose to use only about half the class time. His assignment expectations are unclear. He cancels class for about two weeks and cancels class randomly. I attended every lecture and put in my best effort, I did not stop trying and still only got a 'B'.
Brad is a very disorganized professor. It felt like sometimes he had to reteach the material to himself. The group assignments had parts that he didn't even teach, which made them very hard. During the take-home final, Brad gave out an important piece of information 5 days after the exam was released. Overall, he's a nice guy but very disorganized.
Brad is a good professor. The negative reviews I feel are not warranted for how much is on his plate in a full semester. He makes the Excel spreadsheets for you and all you have to do is follow along with what he is doing. If you do that, the quizzes and projects are light work. He will help you too if you missed a step or function so ask him a ton
Brad is very accommodating and understanding and offered me an extension on the group project. If you attend the lectures and just fill out the excel spreadsheets he makes for the lessons you'll pass. Brad also makes time for you in the lecture if you miss a function or don't understand something!
Explains excel really well, and the quizzes are very similar to what we do in class. You will do good, granted you study. One thing is that while he is caring and understanding, he can be a little passive aggressive. Another thing is his projects are quite vague, and he grades them very hard (He has a Masters in English so that explains why).
brad overall is okay, he is understanding of student concerns. but the class is very confusing as lectures consist of you trying to copy what hes typing in excel while he gives confusing explanations. the final takehome is also very disorganized as it wasn't fully covered in class. he also let me redo an assignment, but ignored me when i submitted
Brad is a great professor- have him right now, although most of class is just copying what he does he takes time to make sure you completely understand what you're doing and will always be asking the class if extra clarification is needed. His lectures are very interactive and also he is very understanding/flexible with needing to give extensions.
I like Brad. Nice prof.
Brad is nice and accommodating in class, but is very hard to contact through email. He will straight up just not reply to certain emails. The course itself shouldn't be too hard if you show up to class, as all your doing is copying whatever he does. Quizzes make up a large part of your mark and is done through lab hours which was not ideal.
Brad is a caring and flexible teacher who wants students to succeed. This is a harder class to begin with and he makes it as straightforward as possible. Just come to class and follow the spreadsheet programming and you will do well. If you don't get something, he will take the time to go over your spreadsheet.
The fact that most students take this class as a first year, and have to deal with a prof who just complains and DOES NOT TEACH THE REQUIRED CONTENT. He has been straight up rude when people have asked questions. Also, answer your emails. Im curious to see how he will mark, better be good bruh. See if you can get another prof, ideally Adebayo.
Very vague in providing feedback or clear criteria of an assignment, does not answer emails, seems to forget some of us have never used excel before. Profs need to be a little more understanding man, we are all trying our best and the students that email you are actually trying in the class, maybe answer them back, brad. not a fan atm.
idk if he got worse from the other reviews, but no.
Not a decent teacher, scolds the students for not being able to grasp the excel portion quickly which is difficult when everyone is using different computers with different layout and options. Rushes through things too quickly, projects are overly complicated too imo.
Just don't take him... His lectures are SO disorganized. He jumps all over the place because he "forgot to mention" and "don't do this yet, I have to check if it works." The projects are overly complicated as well and he provides very little help. He expects you to remember all the excel steps when you've only done it once.
hes funny and nice, the quizzes are a copy and paste of the practice however he sucks at teaching, moves at insanely high pace, his projects are very hard and have very unclear intructions. Hes overly obsessed with girls too, if your a pretty lady take his class if your a boy dont think about it. However he is chill just not built for teaching.
He saw I had been using google sheets instead of excel all semester and he punched me in the face.
Brad just straight up ignores emails, is incredibly unorganized, and has high expectations for a first year course. He is, however, very accommodating in class if you ask him for help. He also prefers debating over the use of chat gpt, him selling tesla stocks too early, or whether tylenol gives autism, instead of actually explaining assignments.
This is a hard course but I would recommend Brad 100%. Open book quizzes during lab were a little annoying because of the bad lab time but pretty easy if you do the mindtaps right. Very accessible to answering questions and definitely knows what he is doing.
Brad was a really great prof. He explained the lecture material clearly that made the quiz and assignments easy to understand and complete. Attendance is mandatory especially if you want to do good on the final exam as he will give you all the tools you will need.
Brad is a great prof, I heard stats is super hard but he made them class seem pretty easy tbh. Quizzes are super easy and final prep starts a month before its acc due. If youre gonna take this class, go with him
