Grades on attendance. For Book of Morman Read the scriptures for the week and at the end write a journal. not really strict on what you write Hes pretty easy. Just go to class and read your scriptures Memorization a little bit.

He is a great teacher. The homework is very easy and very fufilling-I really learned a lot about the BoM from his 1000 word weekly essays. He takes attendance, but lenient if you are late or leave early. He's funny and cares about his subject. I liked him so much that I'm taking BOM 122 from him next semester and I can't wait! He loves his students

He lets everyone speak and contribute to the lessons and he made it a fun atmosphere for all. Made Scripture study meaningful I really learned a lot. Took the time to shake my hand as I entered and left class that meant a lot to me as a student he showed he cared for his students.

Seriously the coolest teacher ever! super friendly, learns your name and makes you feel important in class. Class disscussions are amazing, and everyday you feel the spirit! its amazing! :) TAKE HIS CLASS!

Such an amazing class! I laughed all the time and yet I learned so much! He has scripture mastery quizzes, which are easy, and then weekly journals due. As long as you keep up with them they're no big deal. Also his exam is on the scriptures you learned/memorized for the quizzes. Very insightful, very fun, and an easy A as long as you go to class.

I really enjoyed Brother Rowe's class. He's such a nice, down-to-earth and all around cool guy and I really loved hearing his testimonies. It's a pretty easy class, just keep up on your reading. If you take his class, you will NOT be disappointed! :)

He is an amazing teacher, he really cares about his students. We have a journal every week and memorize 5 scriptures which he reviews every class to help us out. Classes are fun, everyone always look forward to class. If you do well in attendance and journals, you don't have to take the final, which is writing down the scriptures you memorized.

Brother Rowe is not only humble, but he halps you through his example to want to be better, to want to be more like the Savior. He does teach facts and history, but more importantly the spirit is always in his classroom. He creates an environment of spiritual growth and learning because of his love for Heavenly Father and for his students.

Wonderful teacher! All you have to do is read before each class and write a journal entry. The final is really easy and is just memorizing 5 scriptures that you work on through the semester. Brother Rowe is great at bringing in the spirit. Take him you wont regret it!

Brother Rowe is by far my favorite teacher here at BYU-Idaho! He is so funny and engaging during class, I definitely learned so much while taking from him. He is very helpful and understanding, and all around a great guy! I would highly recommend taking his class! You won't regret it!

He taught clearly, not too loud, and I felt the Spirit in the class. The homework was fair, took about 1-2 hours a week, and you have to memorize some scriptures for the class, and there's a doctrinal report that's pretty easy(3-5 hours prep, depending the student).

Brother Rowe is Awesome. The homework is reading and you write a once a week journal. He has really easy test if you have read the material and study. He doe really good reviews in class! I am going to take more classes from him! He is also pretty funny but do the reading or he might give an extra credit quiz!

This was his first semester teaching this class, but he really knows the topics. Most of his jokes are funny and he is pretty lenient in order to help you pass the class. His classes are all class and group discussions which is nice to help you learn the material.

He was awesome! I do recommend him. It was so easy and i am not good at taking tests and i would always pass his tests with a lowest score of 80. He makes the topics clear and he is funny. It is really easy, and take advantage of the extra credit opportunities they are so simple to do.

Must say he is my all time favorite religion teacher. I took him for BOM and also New Testament. You only have to memorize scriptures for quizzes and the final is the scriptures you memorized. They were easy so definitely recommend!

Homework is due before class everyday. Extra Credit is available to those that take advantage of it. Attendance is Mandatory or you will lose points. Great Class, keeps you actively engaged extremely well for how large the class is (which is smaller than typical AFMF Courses)

Brother Rowe is such a good teacher. For his religion classes all you have to do is read the scriptures, keep a journal, go to class, and memorize scriptures. He does have a midterm paper, which is also very simple and easy. He knows his church history and has a love for the subject and for teaching.

Brother Rowe is amazing! I took 121 from him last semester and loved it so much that I took a second block 122 class from him this semester. The block is hard, so if you are doing that, be prepared for a lot of reading. But it was worth it. Our class discussions are always great and he really involves the students so we learn from each other.

Took his hybrid course and it rocked! A handful of assignments but I still got an A. Best teacher I've ever had and his TA cheyanne helped whenever I needed anything. TAKE ANY CLASS FROM HIM!!! Highly recommend.

Brother Rowe is hilarious and a great teacher. I took the hybrid and loved it. One class per week. Then you do the rest on your own. It did take a while to complete the assignments outside of class but I always got a 100%. Then the weekly quiz was simple and the midterm/finals are easy. Just review your old quiz questions. No tests. TAKE THIS CLASS

Brother Rowe was a very fun teacher and I loved that all the lessons had religious aspects about them. Don't procrastinate doing the work outside of class. I took the hybrid class and had to have the stuff turned in at noon the day of class which was a Monday. So I was always up late working on Sunday night which I don't recommend!

Honestly he was the best religion teacher I've had. He is kind and easy to work with. You will have to memorize a few scriptures, write a paper for midterm, read the assigned scriptures, and write about what you have read. Come to class because attendance is important. It is a great class to take if you have a lot of hard classes.

Brother Rowe is one of the most sincere professors I have ever had. He gets to know each of his students by name and truly cares about them. His teaching style is very clear and class discussion is 80% of the class. I felt the Spirit every class and loved attending. I took the hybrid class, so it was only one lecture period a week. If you take this class you have to make sure to do all the reading or you wont pass. The weekly quizzes are fairly detail-oriented but if you do the work they're easy enough. I really enjoyed the class and felt i learned a lot. It wasn't taught like a regular history class.

Definitely my favorite teacher this semester- hybrid class that was 90minpweek- the other work outside of class. It was very clear what we were to learn on our own and the readings he provided were very helpful. He tied everything together in his lectures, and kept the class interesting and energized. Best ever, and great at answering questions!

Brother Rowe is a great teacher. He wants you to have a spiritual experience preparing for each class but also doesn't want to prevent that with unnecesary busy work or lots of assignments. Easy A if you do the reading and show up to class! Definitely recommend him.

I loved this class. It was super easy. You have to write a midterm paper but if you follow the criteria (1500 words on a gospel topic, 3 quotes and 3 scriptures) you'll get an A. Attendance matters a lot! Quizzes are memorizing scriptures and he gives extra credit. I loved Bro Rowe. I am defiantly taking B.o.M part 2 from him!

Great class and great professor. Took it as a hybrid so the 1 and a half our long lectures drug on at times, but covered all material that was on the quiz after class. Concept map and discussion boards due before each class. Hard midterm and final but extreme grade curve at end of semester.

Brother Rowe was an amazing teacher. He made American Foundations easy, and he made it very interesting. You have a discussion board post + 2 responses and concept map due before each class, and a quiz after the lecture every week. Some of the quizzes can be tough. He extremely curved everyone's grade way up at the end of the semester.

Brother Rowe was an amazing person and made history interesting. I took the hybrid class and loved it. There were discussion boards each week but they were not terrible. The only hard thing about his class were the quizzes. He went over some of the questions in his lecture, but I still found them somewhat difficult.

The insight that he has of the scriptures is helpful and I always look forward to his class. Homework is due for the reading but not hard. Midterm and final are easy.

You must do the reading before each unit, that way you can understand exactly what's going on in the class. He makes sure that the reading and videos aren't dull, but filled with some funny stuff. Does make amazing dad jokes:) His lectures help you learn better, because he adds stories into them, or jokes that make them stick in your head.

Brother Rowe is a very inspired man! There is a lot of reading for this class but he tries to cut it down so you only have to read the mandatory stuff. He's super funny and gives great lectures/class discussions. All you have to do for this class are the readings before class, show up to class and submit your notes online.

There is a journal due every class. 1500 word midterm. Quizzes on scriptures you were to memorize. The journals are to be 300 words in length on scripture notes, manual notes, and class notes. He takes attendance seriously but doesn't call you out if you leave or get there early. Funny guy. Good class.

Mr. Rowe can be summed up in 3 points. 1: He is very good at teaching (clear, expounds material, and knows how to reduce complicated subjects into simple terms). 2: His classes are enjoyable and will always excite you. 3: He has a fun sense of humor(very quick and witty). This class is kind of hard, and there is a lot of reading. But honestly I didn't do any of the readings and still passed the class with a decent grade. Just make sure that you are in class and you don't have to read, as long as your pay attention. Though this class is kind of hard, the professor is a great choice!

The only class I was excited to go to during the week this last semester. It was difficult, but the teacher knew how to make it enjoyable. He was very passionate, knowledgeable, and directed about it, and that helped a lot. Very understanding of the students needs and questions as well. I wouldn't pick anyone else to teach this class.

Outstanding teacher. Some religion professors have a "holier than thou" type attitude where you leave class every day feeling terrible about your self. Brother Rowe fills his classroom with a Spirit of love and understanding where you leave class with a motivation to be a better disciple of Christ.

You do three weekly assignments and once you get the pattern they really aren't that hard. He is a caring professor and even learned our names. I really like Brother Rowe and would recommend him.

Brother Rowe is such an amazing professor! He cares about his students and it shows. I will definitely be taking another one of his classes. His class isn't homework-heavy, which is super nice. But you do need to make sure you're doing the readings and going to classes, that is most of your grade.

The classwork wasn't that hard. Just do the readings every week (about 30 minutes to an hour). He does require you to have your camera on and having your face visible at all times so don't be surprised when he calls you out on it. Other than that, he is a good professor.

I took a hybrid course where once a week it was a zoom and once a week attendance was in person. His lectures were interesting and kept me engaged. He is also funny and kind, and I felt comfortable sharing thoughts and asking any questions that I had.

He is very energetic. You can tell he loves all of his students. He will quickly learn your name. There is very little outside work, and what there is is easy. You have to try if you want to fail. Or you could just choose never to come. That will kill your grade quickly.

This was a great class! I feel like I really learned a lot and I was engaged almost every class. There are two readings per week and that is really the only assignments you ever have. It would be very difficult to fail this class.
