Brad: if you're reading this please go slower and add some enthusiasm in this course. After all, you are very intelligent and enjoy this material so have fun with it! I am trying not to be negative because he is a sweet and intelligent man, but I have never felt so discouraged and stupid in my life whenever I asked a question. Tough bite to chew

Dr. Seebach is a very lecture-heavy professor. He is very intelligent, so he talks to his students at the same level, which is hard to understand sometimes. He is always willing to meet in office hours. Very slow at grading things. This class is rigorous, and a lot of outside work is needed. Basically, read the book and find a good study group.

Brad is somewhat monotone, and it can be hard to pay attention at times. However, he records his lectures, which is VERY helpful in my opinion. I recommend rewatching all the lectures to be successful. He recommends reading the textbook to earn above a B on tests, but I did not and still got an A on 2/3 exams.

Dr. Seebach is very nice and kind, but will not grade any exams or assignments on a timely manner. We have taken 3 exams. Only the first exam is graded, and the second was taken FOUR weeks ago. We have 7 homework and assignments, where he only assigned 2 and has graded one. There is no way to tell where you stand in the class and it is finals week!

The exams aren't bad. He records his lectures. Read the book sections and do end of chapter problems (great for test prep). Clicker questions are 1% of your grade which is annoying. My main complaint is the Brad is really long winded, so it can be hard to know what exactly he finds important for testing. Otherwise nice guy that wants to help.

BIO 312 is a tough class, a lot of work to learn it. Brad is certainly very thorough in his lectures. However, if you just take a step back and reread your notes after class, everything will make sense. Has a very monotonous voice, but I combated that by sitting in the front where you have to pay attention. Exams are tough but fair. I recommend him

There is a lot of content however you need to understand that we are not all experts. Flying through a 70 slide powerpoint in 80 minutes is extremely unrealistic for learning & comprehension. Objectives, practice tests, & even in-class clicker questions were impractical. Hard exams, pay attention in class and keep up.

I spent so much time studying for this class that I vaguely remember having any free time. If you want to pass, you have to work harder than ever. Given that, Brad is a very nice guy who is flexible in meeting with if you need to. Do not come to lecture hungry or tired, you will zone out. Exams were super hard. Getting a C in exams was a relief.

In online class for Fall '20 we are expected to do group projects that we get little to no feedback on in our synchronous time while having to watch 2-3 hours of lecture videos a week outside of class. It makes no sense and creates a stressful learning environment. This is in addition to the textbook readings you have to do. Just lecture us instead

Dr. Seebach is a great professor. Take the fact that anat and phys is a harder class and he makes in mangble. He gives quizzes every two weeks on material from those two weeks. He also puts together great lecture captures that seem to be too long but all the information is meaningful. If you put in the work your grade will reflect that.

Dr. Seebach did a great job of converting the class during COVID. The class had roughly 10 hours of lecture every two weeks which was dry at points and required active learning. He has a very slow turn around time on grading exams and assignments as well. Overall he's a good choice for BIO312!

Boring, monotone lectures, but a decent guy. I didn't really have to read the textbook to pass. There are no study guides, but studying off of the learning objectives worked pretty well. Exams have written questions sometimes on things you haven't explicitly learned, so you have to extrapolate.

if you have any interest in human anatomy, don't take seebach or he will ruin all of your hopes and dreams. takes 10000 light years to grade your exam so don't expect to know how you did until you forget that you even took the exam. i have never skipped a class more in my life. would rather dip my bare hand in the cadaver juices than take him again

This man single handedly ruined my girlfriend's life. The second hand trauma I carry is a burden I will forever bear. I am the Frodo and my girlfriend is the ring of power, whose corruption source is anatomy. Seebach is like an Israeli general marching into a Palestinian village, he takes the life away from young adults and leaves without remorse.
