Professor Wakefield subbed for our class when our teacher was dealing with various health issues. He was amazing. I went to see him during his office hours, and he took about 20 minutes to explain the assignment to me, and answer any questions I had. He loves teaching philosophy, and it shows. Definitely recommend him.
Awesome professor who subbed for my intro to logic class a few times. He is very helpful and sensitive to student concerns and wants you to understand the material and do well. He takes the time to go through the material in a way the students need because it wasn't always the easiest. He's funny, outgoing and kind. Definitely recommend!
Professor Wakefield is a great instructor! He's extremely passionate about what he teaches. He makes sure everyone understands the material and encourages student participation. Highly recommend taking his class!
The first thing you'll notice about Professor Wakefield is his passion for philosophy and for teaching it. He clearly loves what he does and he is excellent at it. Very easy to talk to; before, after and during class. If you don't understand something, just ask. Philosophy isn't easy, but he is fair and smart, couldn't ask for a better professor.
He was amazing. I had some of the best lectures in my 3 years of college in the short month i had him for a summer class. I miss this class and i hope he goes far as a professor. He deserves it.
He is a really nice teacher. He loves philosophy and is straight up and willing to help. Don't miss class or you will fall behind. More than two absence affects your grade. One thing though he doesn't keep you posted on grades so it makes it hard for you to know where you stand. Overall a nice teacher
As a person he is pleasant and pretty funny. As a professor he needs to be clearer. He tends to explain things really fast, explains them in a way that he can only understand and tends to talk about several different topics at once. So its hard to follow him sometimes. Attendance is crucial and so is participation. He aight...
This class was by far one of the toughest ive had in my college experience. Professor Wakefield is a great person but as a professor he was not the best. If you do not take good notes you will not pass his class, and at times his lectures are hard to follow if you dont pay attention. His test were extremely hard and there was not much of a review.
Great professor however not for those who are not truly interested in Philosophy.
Knows his stuff and enjoys teaching it. Lots of reading and you must understand it for the quizzes. Also don't miss class you get graded on attendance. Would take again
He is an amazing professor. His lectures are really easy to listen to, and it doesn't hurt that he is really easy on the eyes. It is a hard class for sure, but it is hard dense material. That doesn't reflect on him at all. He's great, and I would take him again.
Very nice professor and helpful!! Makes the class interesting. Not too many things going in class as far as work. Participation is required!
The class was a bit tougher than I expected from the other reviews on here. There's a reading assignment after almost every class, and some can be challenging, but he does explain everything pretty well. Because of his young age, the classroom setting feels laid back. I would most definitely take a class from Wakefield again.
He's a great professor I have him now for a summer session. He really truly cares about his students and them passing his class. As long as you attend every class, do the homework an actually participate and show that you actually care, you'll do fine.
Professor Wakefield is a great Professor, his lectures are good and he relates interesting examples to the topics. However he can be a little intimidating sometimes regarding whats expected of you. But also along with that he wants you to pass, he just expects the effort on your side.
For an entry level class of philosophy he sure does expect a lot from you. You will only get feedback in the classroom during lectures. If your class schedule makes it difficult to see him during office hours then you may as well forget getting help from him outside of those times. He doesn't not respond to emails. Sometimes belittles you.
Cares a lot about Philosophy, and makes his class very interesting. Friendly and loves class participation. He makes sure you understand the material. Probably my favorite professor at Macomb.
Professor Wakefield is the amongst best professors I've had. He genuinely cares about everything that he's teaching - anyone who's taken his class knows how many times he says "this is so interesting!". He's tough, but it's not because he's an elitist or pompous - he just thinks that his students are capable (which is actually a huge compliment).
One of the best professors in the State of Michigan. Macomb Community College Lucky they hired. Inspired me greatly. Told all students it is in his best interest that we do well in life. Went out of his way to stay extra 30 minutes with me-explain a "WHOLE CHAPTER", it was around 9:30 P.M. I'm also Signing up for his ethics class ASAP winter 2016.
Great professor, although I'm not extremely into physics, he made analogies so clear, you could understand some pretty complex theories. Very passionate about philosophy, but he kept things interesting. I got an A pretty easily. If you're taking a few difficult classes this is a good class to mix in to even it out. Oh and he LIKES PARTICIPATION!!!
Wakefield was an overall good professor as far as lecturing and helpfulness go. But this was one of the most difficult entry level classes I have taken. He expects a lot out of his students. If you do not read you will not pass this class. Midterm, final, and project are 80% of your grade and there's no review for them. Don't take this as a blowoff
Very hard for an introductory class, he expects way too much. Grade is heavily effected by the two exams he gives. It would have been helpful if there was some sort of study guide or if he told us what was on the test so it would be easier to review. I do not recommend this professor.
He keeps you tuned in to the lectures. Cracks jokes and provides excellent examples. Very passionate about Philosophy. Expects participation in class. You won't pass if you don't show up for lectures, but usually they are too entertaining to want to skip.
I'm currently enrolled in his philosophy class and let me tell ya, this guy is a character. He has such a thorough way of explaining things. It is crucial that you take good notes because his whole class is a lecture. If you miss class you might as well accept your grade is going down, not that you'd want to though because keeps the class lively.
Best professor I have ever met.
he is a great professor if you participation and take notes read the material you'll do fine
Best professor ever. For the final exam he split the class in two group and told us to give an argument as to why we shouldn't have a final exam. He gives reasonable amounts of homework, extra credit, and just a funny guy in general. Just study for the 3 tests and you're good. Definitely taking him again.
Textbook is critical, syllabus, while detailed is not complete. Have Scantron sheets available for mid-term. Teaching style is lecture, without much to go on but his opinion. Extra credit offered will save your midterm failure. Self absorbed, can't be wrong, doesn't follow his own rules. Needs to learn to listen more than he speaks.
Prof. Wakefield is the best professor I had at MCC! His enthusiasm for philosophy & logic are contagious. His class was challenging but SO very worth it. If you're not ready work hard & be challenged more than you thought was possible, then don't take his classes. But if you are, this just might be one of the most beneficial classes you take!
Definitely a top 3 professor for me. On top of being a great professor he is also incredibly attractive.
He's a really nice guy, pretty entertaining. His lectures are interesting. He knows what he's talking about.. however, the material is extremely difficult. I got very low grades on the exams, except for the final.. which he split the class into groups and asked us to give an argument as to why we shouldn't have to take the final exam.
this is the second class I had him in he is great gives good extra credit but you have to participate or drop ask a question will answer and keeps to his schedule plan and makes it fun to learn
This guy is great. His teaching style allows you to learn, not just memorize. Tip for you - PARTICIPATE in his lectures, you'll get more out of it. Looking back as I am soon to be graduating Senior(business student), he was one of the best teachers I have ever had. Take him.
pleasure to take
This professor is phenomenal! Participate and learn to apply the concepts that are taught. If you're a lazy student, looking for a 'blow off' class, reconsider your decision.
Wakefield was by far my favorite professor this year! His class is tough, and definitely NOT a 'blow-off'. He makes you work for the grade you get. He doesn't make power points. He assigns 3 papers, I highly recommend writing the first 2 papers for practice. This class makes you think outside of the box 100% of the time, fantastic class!
He an amazing professor! His lectures are very inspiring and he adds very heart warming stories to them to make them hit home. He acts like a really tough teacher, but as long as you do your work you have nothing to worry about! He really takes pride in his work and he teaches to make a difference. Difficult grader but it's worth it.
He was very funny and make lectures interesting. The class was hard however and I didn't really understand it well.
I loved this class! This is by no means a blow off but hes very passionate and very proud of his work. He lectures a lot but they are worth it and theyre very enjoyable. Dont take this class if youre not ready to work for your grade. Hes by far the best professor Ive had!
Come to class, listen and take great notes you'll do okay. He makes everything understandable, and is very funny! I'll recommend anyone to take him if you need a philosophy class.
Just finished phil 2100. Going for computer science and had to take this class but im happy I took with him, teacher knows what hes doing. If you take him, make sure you tell him to talk about Five days at memorial. AAANNDD dont judge him by the first day or first week.
The material in class was hard, however he made sure to not move on until everyone understood what he was lecturing about. He is a great teacher and very smart guy. Take him if you want to be entertained.
legit best teacher I've had at macomb, he makes everything so interesting and honestly like i feel like i learned the most in his class too, he tries to act tough but really he's just a little teddy bear that wants everyone to do well.
Professor Wakefield is without a doubt the smartest and most open minded person I have ever met. He had this great ability to really open your mind and make you think about every aspect of what we were learning. Really believes in his student and demands excellence. I would highly recommend taking his class. Best professor I have had in my 2 years.
Wakefield doesnt do this for the paycheck. He does this because its his passion & you can see it in his lectures. He is so funny and really makes class enjoyable. This class actually relates to your every day life & helps you become more open minded. The material messes with your head because its so tricky sometimes. Would take him again 100%
Best class I have ever taken. He is the reason I am minoring in Philosophy, I still recommend him to people.
He's so adorable. I took this class in the summer and he made a boring topic interesting. He is super funny and the material isn't THAT bad. I would definitely take him again if I could.
I have taken this professor for all three of the courses that he teaches. He will push you to do the very best you can regardless of who you are. If you apply yourself in any of his classes he will make that reflective in your grade at the end. Also, he offers extra credit so be sure to take advantage of it when he does (usually only once).
Great professor! He will challenge you but its all worth it in the end. He comes off kinda stuck up but hes actually a great guy.
Logic was super fun and interesting with him! He makes you work for your grades and pushes you all the time, which is nice, but sometimes stressful. Hes very sassy but a very nice and caring person, hands down the best professor I ever had.
Philosophy is a very tough class but I wouldn't have wanted any other professor! His lectures are very thorough and cover everything pretty well. He makes the concepts interesting and more understandable.
I just love wakefield. People call him the "stickler" of the department but he really isnt. He comes off as tough cuz he wants everyone to be greateed. He inspires me to always be the best version of myself. His lectures are really heart felt. He is an amazing professor w/ an amazing passion for philosophy. He pushes you to do well. Best class
i loveeeeee wakefield. he is seriously the best & has such a kind heart. do not judge him the first week of class!!! he comes off tough and intimidating at first but he's like a soft teddy bear as the semester goes on. i would take him 100 times again. i hate school but i never wanted to miss his class. he makes me want to do good in life.
Despite how much I absolutely loathed philosophy, he made the class really enjoyable. It's a tough course, but I would always leave the class thinking about things he said. You can tell he really loves what he's doing. I don't even need Logic or Ethics, but I'm tempted to take one just to have the pleasure of being taught by him again. Take him.
Professor Wakefield is my fav! Very professional. Hilarious & makes lectures fun. Take very good lecture notes, as well as keep up with the reading. I love that he marks notes on the homework. Gets straight to the point. Does not care if you don't show up to class, but you will miss out. Class work is decent. Pay attention & participate to pass!
Honestly, Wakfield was probably one of my favorite professors. I have a love/hate thing for him where sometimes he might come off as a "tough" guy, but he is actually very sweet if you are kind to him. Ethics might have been really hard to understand, but he is amazing at his lectures.
Professor Wakefield is the best professor at MCC. He is very kind and caring. If you need help, he is more than happy to help you. His lectures are very informative and inspirational, he tells a lot of funny stories that relate to the material. He taught us that we are capable of doing great things in life. I would take him again in a heartbeat.
This is by far the best professor i have ever had at MCC. Makes jokes and stories, to help you connect more to the material. I wish he was able to teach all my classes!
I wish I had a tiny version of Wakefield on my shoulder throughout the day, lecturing in my ear. That would be great! You will regret not taking his class.
Reading the reviews I thought he was going to be great, but I couldn't have been more wrong. There is something seriously wrong with him to sit 4 feet in front of a student and stare at them for 5 minutes straight on the first day of class. I've never felt so uncomfortable in my life and I hope he was glad to make another student drop his class.
Wakefield is awesome! He stared at the person the first day of class as a joke. He makes Philosophy interesting and fun. He will break down any topic if you don't understand the material. Attend every class! Participate!!
Wakefield is such a baller, he will force you to learn but he is so cool that it's no big deal. Only a matter of time before some big school with lots of money scoops him up so Id take him while he's at MCC.
I have no words to describe how awesome this professor is. He goes above and beyond in lecture to help students understand (what for me were) complex ethical and philosophical topics. I wish that i had just ONE other professor that exhibited the amount of enthusiasm about their subject, as wakefield did. I AM taking another course of his ASAP.
Pushes you to learn. Enthusiastic. Doesn't pretend, is himself fully. Honest and genuine. Cares for his students, lectures are fun. Tells stories relating to the subject. Will go into detail if you don't understand the material. Show up to class. Requires a lot on the exams, but is lenient on the homework. Best instructor I have ever had!
This professor is very passionate about what he is teaching which makes the class interesting. He is a fair grader. There are no exams in this class which is a plus. There are only about 3 short one page papers which the lowest grade I believe you can receive on them is a B. Mid-term and Final are just a page of questions that are given in advance.
Out of all the nine professors I've had, he has been my favorite. He made confusing topics interesting and casually made funny jokes, told enjoyable stories, and performed small entertaining acts. Most of the class focused on writing, from small 'quizzes' to one-page papers. He can be a tough grader but is a good choice nonetheless.
Some people will grasp what he is saying more easily than others, and he understands that. While the subject material can be challenging, he'll provide examples and do his best to word his explanations so his meaning is clear and understandable. Very fun class. He didn't take attendance, but you should go because he can cover a lot in a single day.
he is always willing to help a student who asks. his lectures are made to make the material more comprehensible.
Bradley Wakefield is an amazing professor. He makes lecture fun and interesting. There aren't any exams, just quizzes. He relates his life experiences and stories to his lectures to make it more understandable.
Best Professor I've had here so far, one of the best teachers over-all as well. Always connects what you're learning to funny stories (and also has occasional non-logic related "intermission" rants) and the class flies by. Willing to help and there are many ways to improve your grade. As long as you take notes, not a difficult class.
Wakefield never fails in keeping the class interesting. From his hilariously relatable examples, to his fascinating short-paper prompts, the class keeps your attention. I've taken two of his classes, varying in material, but same awesome teaching techniques! Just be sure to listen to all of the little details in lectures- they will come in handy!
Definitely one of my favorite professors that I have had at Macomb. He wrote his own book to simplify finding material for students. He is super funny and enjoys telling stories. He always keeps class interesting and tries his best to make the whole class understand. This class is pretty hard because it is critical thinking, but I think he's great.
Wakefield is a great Prof. For PHIL 2200 youll have 4 tests worth 60% of your grade & homework assignments worth 40%. HW grading is relaxed. He clearly lives by the material & does a great job teaching. His class is NOT a blow off, youll have to study & be in class if you want to get an A. Youll learn so much & feel proud once you pass his class
Very caring about his students and does his best to push you. If you ask him to, he'll push back even harder. Best prof I've ever taken. There are days you'll walk out of the class incredibly frustrated, but that means you're getting the full experience. You need to be willing to learn and willing to think; he will never just give you the answer.
Professor Wakefield is a very great teacher he challenges your beliefs he is a strict grader and demands the best of his students.
He is one of the worst teachers Ive had, doesnt answer questions and only his opinion is right. I would not recommend to anyone.
I honestly couldn't stand him. He was self absorbed and rude. He did not take time to make sure everyone understood or answered questions. He was very animated and funny but got annoying. He's that person you either like or dislike. I had a hard time understanding his lectures. The bulk of your grade will be a midterm that he doesn't explain.
Wakefeild is super vague on direction for assignments so email him to clarify. This class is not at all what I expected it to be. I though we'd be debating different ethical problems instead of learning the philosophy behind ethics. I'm truly disappointed. Assignments are based off the textbook. The book sucks and is hard to follow.
Took him for a summer course. Very passionate about what he does. Very genuine. Gives back the same respect you give him. He's quirky and is the kind of guy you either love or are annoyed by. 10/10 stories and anecdotes. Attendance isn't mandatory but it helps with understanding and getting on his good side when you ask for help or clarification.
Wakefield was my favorite professor to date. I have attended other colleges and have other degrees which means I have had a lot of teachers. He is by far my favorite! He really cares that you understand the material. He relates everything to real life experiences. Amazing lectures. He loves to debate. The more you push back, the better your grade.
Wakefield is amazing. He genuinely cares about what he's teaching, and he gets what it's like to be a student, so he is very fair. His lectures are amazing, he is very entertaining, he has good comedic timing, its very hard to not be into whatever he's talking about. He tells fun stories. Do the homework, and show you're trying, and you'll be good.
I've taken logic and philosophy. Logic was my favorite. He gives great lectures. I didn't do well in philosophy but it was a summer class and I was going through a rough time. If you miss a philosophy lecture you're gonna be lost. You need to be there or you'll fall behind. Challenges your beliefs and some people don't like that.
He is one of the best Professors ever, sooooo interesting and funny. I've never taken philosophy before, but he made me love thos class. I would take him again and again. Just be active in class, do your homework because the homework is 40% of your grade. I got an A in the class
4 years later and this is hands down the best Professor you will encounter. This man should be at a university. You will take away alot from his classes, changes the way you think. Worth your time and money. This is a realist professor and you can't shame him for that. Wakefield you have good things coming your way, Thank You.
Absolutely worst professor ever. Does not tell you your grade. refused to help me in his office. Makes multiple students look stupid in front of entire class. This guy is a horrible person. Ruined my college GPA. Never missed a class. Never late. Never disrespectful. I tried getting his help and he gave me a horrible attitude. Pathetic.
Don't listen to the negative reviews. Wakefield is equal to high level university professors in every way. He is extremely knowledgeable, smart, and gives amazing lectures. He asks challenging and thought provoking questions, gives MEANINGFUL assignments that will improve the way you think and act. The BEST professor you will take at MCC, 100%.
Attendance isn't graded but obviously you'll get really lost if you miss class. It's not an easy subject & Wakefield isn't the easiest professor, but he rewards hard work. The homework is graded extremely leniently & is worth nearly half the grade. Exams are tricky but he offers a retroactive curve
He is one of the best professors I've ever known, he helped me so much. I loved philosophy because of him. You need to do the homework because it worth 40%, the exams are only 15 points each so you'll technically pass if you do all your homework, and he also does give you extra credit. I got an A in his class, I wish I could take him again.
Amazing professor. He doesnt require attendance but I never missed a class and I imagine if I had I wouldve been completely lost as his class is very lecture based. He cares about his students and if you always show up and pay attention he will gladly help you understand the tough course material. Incorporates humor into his lectures regularly.
I took this online due to COVID, and I am so happy I did. I think this class would have been very challenging for me. His quizzes are usually only 3-5 questions and worth about 15 points or so. The final exam is only worth 40 points. Lots of reading and tough material. He did let me turn in a missing assignment at the end of the semester. :)
He gives good feedback but I personally found some of his questions to be provoking. The midterm was very difficult but I ended the class with an 89.66% and I ended up getting a A- witch I tremendously appreciated. He mentioned noting about rounding grades in the syllabus. After him doing this my views of him differently changed.
He was incredibly well organized which is something that really helps me. He had everything laid out simply and easily accessible on CANVAS. Instructions were simple and clear. Material was challenging, as Philosophy should be. He encouraged each of us to come up with our own original thoughts, beliefs, and opinions & allowed a safe space to share.
This course was pretty difficult, but its an ethics class so its understandable. Plenty of time for assignments, theres a presentation thats 30% of your grade. Theres lots of reading and the reading can be difficult to understand but his worksheets and short videos help tons. Prepare for a lot of work, its best to stay ahead.
He was a good professor at first, his assignments just made no sense sometimes. One assignment I didn't understand and he just criticized me in the comment with no further help. its one thing to say what I did wrong and help, but to only critique my work is very unprofessional and very rude, specially when he says, "I want the best for my students"
i just dropped his online class, he told us the test was open book then got mad we had somewhat similar answers and told us he would fail us next time it happened. His test are easy tho good luck !
He didnt come off as helpful at all i reached out for help and basically got blew off there was no follow up or follow through. He spaces work out but its hard to understand what your reading without having to read it 100 times. I wouldnt do it again
He grades all the quizzes very hard. He looks for specific answers and if it is not what he is exactly looking for you will get it wrong. You will have to read the chapters multiple times to really understand what is going on. Class ruined my GPA. DO NOT RECOMMEND IT AT ALL.
Philosophy is a hard subject but, it is a chance to learn to be open minded. He's ok. Gives us a week to do assignments. Two exams. But, the way he grades for short papers doesn't make sense. The way he critiques short papers about YOUR own philosophy, he will note the mistakes you made. Take him if you need to. But good luck.
Assignments are due every 2 weeks which was helpful, however, there was a lot of reading, and the way he words some of the assignments just makes no sense. Tests were all written, no multiple-choice except on the midterm and final. Not my favorite subject but he isn't to blame for that. Interesting discussions though.
One of the best professors out there. He's a very funny and genuine person. He gives you two weeks to do your assignments. Anyone who is reading this, TAKE HIS CLASS.
Professor Wakefield turned a somewhat boring online class into a joy to be in. His videos were funny, insightful, and a huge help with understanding the material.
this professor is great. he made a rather complicated subject a bit more tolerable. i enjoyed the feedback he gave on our essays. he never judged anyone's ideas on what they thought in the discussion forums. if you are into this then it will be easy. if you are not, you will struggle a bit. he will obviously help though. 9/10 summer course.
Professor Wakefield is an awesome person. The class is pretty easy with around 5 quizzes that have 3-5 questions, with no time limit. There are 3 writing assignments worth around 40% of the total grade. The final is a project which was pretty easy.
First things first, I am a very introverted person,so this was my first in-person college class. I was nervous to go to class in person but this guy was just amazing. His lectures are both interactive and interesting. If you answer a question stupidly, he will not put you down in front of the class.Would pay for an audible reading of Plato's book.
Overall was a pretty good and consistent class. I just thought he graded a little harsh on the papers
Overall good class, but was not clear when grading assignments what was left out that caused grade to be lowered.
To understand philosophy, join this class. He will challenge and teach you with passion. If you aren't one to raise your hand but you still want to learn, philosophy is participation. This course provides you with ideas that you won't forget, aiding you in transforming yours, and helping you express what you learned in your interests.
The online class is not it. There are biweekly assignment deadlines with lots of reading and work. That means it can get quite challenging if you are a procrastinator or taking multiple classes. I wish he had divided his module into one week instead of two.
he is the toughest grader and the questions are not clear at all on the exams. the midterm is very easy, but the questions on the exams are very difficult. He makes you read so much and doesn't give good feedback. if he does offer feedback his feed back is passive aggressive. I 100% do not recommend this professor!!!!!!!! and if you do, good luck.
Professor Wakefield is one of the best Professor I have had in Macomb. Enjoyed his lectures through out the entire semester. This guy is amazing. Would love to take his class again and again. Always available after class. If you get the chance to take his class please take him you gonna love it. Felt in love with Philosophy after taking his class.
The readings can be alot at times but the assignments are not that bad. He is very passionate and clearly enjoys philosophy, If you do all the assignements, in my opinion you can pick and choose what readings to do, and youll be fine.
I really enjoyed this class. Professor Wakefield was well organized and, really knew and understood what he was teaching. He did not respond to emails very quickly but always left great feed back. As long as you do the reading and make an effort to understand the content with an open mind you'll pass without a problem.
Wakefield is an amazing professor! His lectures are always engaging, and it's clear that he genuinely loves his job and is dedicated to his students' success. As long as you complete the readings, attend class, and pay attention to the lectures, you'll do well in this class. Without a doubt, he's one of the best professors at MCC!! :)
Professor Wakefield brings passion and interactivity to what could be a dry subject. His feedback helps improve essays, and unstuckstudy is a great study tool alongside the lectures.
This guy is next level, it's unfortunate a lot of people drop because it is hard material. Mr. Wakefield gives amazing lectures and has a way of making you more interested and invested in the subject. -BTW bring up Gerties lemon custard if you want a chuckle-
This was the best professor I have ever had. He is super passionate about Philosophy and it shows, even making so many students who could care less about the topic so enthusiastic by the end.
You can tell he has a passion for philosophy with the way he makes the subject fun to learn about with the lecture videos, that were actually enjoyable to watch. You will need to read a lot for this class from the books you will need to get, so be prepared for that. Overall, it's a great class. He really made learning philosophy easier and fun.
Prof W cares about his students, but grades harshly on papers that don't go along with his idea of philosophy. There is little to no room for error in this course since there is no homework and no extra credit. He is, however, very organized and responsive. I had a 4.0 after a total of 14 courses, but now that will change due to this course.
The class is hard at first because he just jumps in right away, but the more it goes on the more you'll be aware of what's happening and it will be easier. He's a great professor, and is very willing to give help if you ask for it.
He is very invested in the study of philosophy. I believe he did a good job since it is a hard class to teach without just giving students the answers to every difficult question in the subject, but I think he does well. A majority of the class is based on 3 short papers, while quizzes are a small part of the grade.
Professor Wakefield's online class for PHIL-2100 was somewhat challenging as far as the topic was for myself, but any trouble I had I was able to set up zoom calls with him and he went over any questions I had in depth. All of his help was what made me successful in his class and I was happy with the quality of work I submitted in his class.
Class is graded on 3 papers, quizzes and DB posts. All reading material is provided or accessible via provided links. No textbook needed. The material can be overwhelming at times as it is very abstract nature or deep thinking.
