Great teacher. His leactures are interesting. He tells everything you need to know about anatomy and physiology in a fun way. Hard class but he is helpful.

Fillmore is very helpful if you have questions. He's in his office all day and is willing to work out times you. To do good all you really have to do is show up with powerpoint and add to notes. you can get most info off slides so book not vital. If you need extra time to study you can have your test moved. TAKE HIM IF YOU CAN!!! Take him nurses

Very helpful. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Gave everyone who came in costume for Halloween extra credit. Tests are all multiple choice, plus a chance for 5 extra credit points, which are pretty impossible to miss. Lab was ok.

Fillmore is one of the best at EWU! While the content is difficult, he will teach you everything you need to know and help you through it every day. Sets aside a review session the night before every test! Absolutely dedicated to his work! Do the hwk for the exams and study the slides and RELAX because his tests aren't too tough. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

fillmore is one of the best professors I've ever had! he really knows his stuff and his dedication to his students is incredible. human a&p is hard, in general, but his class is relatively easy. he is great with clarity and even better about answering questions so if you know the material, you're going to be happy with the grades you receive.

If you are a nursing or dental hygiene major take Fillmore for the bio series. He is a great teacher! He is always willing to help and you can tell he really loves teaching this subject. His list questions on the multiple choice tests can be a little tricky but if you go to class and take notes on the power points you will do great!

Great professor, I took the 232 class over the summer (4 weeks) and was a lot more manageable than I thought it would be. To be honest I liked it even more than the rest of the series. Fillmore knows how to teach, and will be very fair in grading. Just put forth a little effort and 4.0 is easily obtained.

He is a fantastic Professor. I dreaded taking anatomy for a long time but Professor Fillmore goes above and beyond to make sure you get the material, he also makes it interesting. However, showing up to class is a must!

You will never forget Filldaddy. He becomes your daddy as he takes you step by step through our complicated system, and makes it enjoyable and hilarious. He has the best humor when approaching this indepth subject. Don't listen to anyone complaining because obviously they couldn't take the heat!! You MUST put time into it.

The material we cover is very interesting. However, I assumed Fillmore would be a lot clearer and better professor based on the majority of these reviews. He is OKAY but not the best. Very entertaining and clearly loves the subject. He does have a tendency to say its easy when it is clearly not. He also tends to put stuff in the exams that were not covered or covered in such a simplistic way that the technical answer on the test does not make much sense. Good teacher, but study, study , study.

Fillmore is great. He's explains difficult concepts in an easy to understand way and is more than fair. In fact he's rather lenient with his grading. Study appropriately and your reward will be a 4.0, don't put the time in and you will sink miserably. He's hands down one of the best teachers EWU has. If you don't get a good grade, you are lazy.

Mr. Fillmore is exactly as advertised. He was a great help for me learning this difficult subject. He called himself my "tour guide" and lived up to the billing. This stuff isn't easy--but I went to his office and he truly helped me multiple times. He really does care about his students! Wish more at EWU did--way to go Fillmore!

Filldaddy is a god of A&P! Going to Eastern has been worth it just to have Fillmore as my biology teacher and I have never once been bored in this class. Never skip unless he says the next day isn't content heavy or "grad detail". Study very hard! every day and you'll 4.0!

I love this guy. Best professor I've ever had. Explains things very well, lecture is usually interesting, depending on topic, and he's pretty funny. Easy class, he offers 10% EC on every test, basically handed to you. Tries to give you points where he can. Just study his PP lecture the night before the tests, and go to class, and you'll do fine.

If you have any anxiety over taking Amatomy & Physiology, you should feel relieved that you have Fillmore. He is easily my favorite professor of my college experience. Very helpful!

Currently getting my masters degree in nursing right now, and I still look back at Fillmore as the best professor I had at EWU.

I really like the guy except so far, he has been a nightmare. He has online homework that consumes so much time and has "STUDY-material" that is not on the test. Just really unorganized. He assigned half the quarters worth of assignments in the first two weeks and was bummed when people got less than 80%. I'm getting a good tho so we'll see.

I'm not really sure what I think right now. I just took a test in his class that was so confusing and not over material in the study guide. IDK maybe poeple like him cuz hes funny. He is very fun to listen to.

Awesome professor! This guy makes the bio series so much fun and easy to get a 4.0. It seems to be that everyone in class loves him, probably because he offers 10 points extra credit on every test, you get points for dressing up for Halloween, he makes the stuff you are learning fun, and he puts as much work as you do into your grade.

Easily one of the best professors at this school. He's definitely on your side and wants you to succeed. Never hesitate to go speak with him if something's stressing you out or you're confused, or even if you just want to cry in his office.

This guy is the bees knees let me tell you. Printing out his power points help because his tests are based off of those. The post-tests are dumb but they don't have that much of an effect on your over all grade. Awesome anatomy professor, definitely wish there were more professors like him.

I was scared to go into class the first day because I suck at anything science based. Fillmore has made me think otherwise with bio. It can and will get complex, but he warns you. He explain why the material is important & whether or not it will be on tests. He gives you so many EC opportunities and wants to succeed. He will never skip lunch tho.

Awesome guy, took him for the whole A&P series last year and passed all with a 4.0 Go to the PLUS groups prior to tests they're your fastest vehicle on test content but also slides, slides, slides, watch his lecture recordings and look at his slides he won't surprise you with anything he hasn't presented.

Pass with a 4.0 even if you've decided to get a lobotomy or two - as long as you've actually done all of your homework. Entertaining & engaging lectures and very accessible during office hours (all day when he isn't in class or getting lunch). Not always the most PC but that doesn't hurt his teaching efficacy. Lots of easy to earn extra credit.

Do the extra credit and it can bump your grade a solid 10% at the end of the quarter. Anatomy is hard but this class was probably the easiest for it, 4.0 is very do-able. Re-do online assignments until you get 100% and always go in and review missed test questions as they will be on the final. Super clear on what he wants and easy to get a hold of.

Professor Fillmore actually cares that students in his class are able to learn the information/subject matter, not simply how to pass the exams and move on. Professor Fillmore is also very respected by both students and faculty alike.

Best professor I have had at Eastern. Fillmore wants everyone to get an A so he gives a lot of extra credit. However, you do need to show up and study for the exams because they are difficult, but if you put the time and work in, it should be an easy A. He sets up a great routine for the year so do what he says and you will "WIN"!

Professor F was one of the best teachers I've ever had. On the first day of class he said "My goal is for all of you to leave here with a 4.0" he gives a ton of extra credit to help you out also. If you study off his lectures you will have no problem with this class!

I took the A&P series with Fillmore and it was not as hard as I expected. If you study the lectures, then you should pass the class with at least a 3.5. A 4.0 is very duable. He posts all his lectures with recordings online so you don't have to attend class. Just study and you'll be fine.

Fillmore is a great prof, hes friendly, understanding and helpful. He assigns multiple assignments to be completed over the course of at least 2 weeks but most of the assignments can be completed in 10 minutes and they all help you to learn the material. Exams are easy if you pay attention in class/listen to the lectures online. 10/10 would rec!

The lecture isn't mandatory to attend as he posts recordings of it online. The lab is mandatory to attend, and there is plenty of homework but if you stay on top of it, it won't be too bad. He really wants his students to pass and is willing to work with you so you understand the material. He an open office policy and treats everyone with respect.

During Covid time, everything is online Very willing to work with you but is work heavy When I say work heavy I REALLY mean it. Each week there can be 10-20+ assignments due HW you can redo until you get 100%! Its just tests, post-tests, exams and such you get 1 try at HW not online is turned in to TA Study guides are provided and can use on exams

Fillmore was the best biology professor I've ever had. He gave a ton of extra credit, and his lectures were very informative. However, to get an A in his class you do have to work for it. Loved this class. However, don't expect to be able to pass without spending a couple hours a week studying or doing homework. There is a lot to learn in the course and he tries his best to make it seem manageable. This guy is like a walking encyclopedia about anatomy and physiology. Don't be afraid to ask questions.

I took professor Fillmore's Bio 232 class and it was a lot of stress. At the end of the quarter I had completed over 150 assignments and that not including quizzes or tests. His lectures are great, he's the perfect person to sit there for an hour and listen too. He keeps your attention. The workload can be a lot be prepared for lots of work.

subject is known for being one of the most difficult, he teaches the content in a way that is funny and engaging. don't try to only read the book you will have excess info and will get lost in what is important. He's kind, funny, and passionate so don't be scared to talk to him or email him. you will need a lot of extra free time, there's a lot of homework. so much homework. don't take o-chem and these at the same time LOL

i was nervous for this class when i first started in the fall but as the year went on i got a little more comfortable. he cares about his students and wants them to pass the class

Fillmore is great, and super passionate and super clear for what he expects of you. The class is material heavy and fast paced, but not hard to keep up with...just don't get behind. Lots of extra point opportunities so scoring poorly on things doesn't make a huge impact on your grade. I flunked quite a few assignments (still an A) Loved this class!

Currently taking A&P with Fillmore and he is great! He unlocks assignments fairly early, and I always work two weeks ahead to stay caught up. Be prepared to apply yourself, attend class (Yes, even though it's not mandatory), and STUDY! He's always available to help so go to his office hours. If you are struggling in lab, his TA's have office hours!

Fillmore is an exceptional professor who genuinely cares about student success. The coursework is challenging, but he provides ample opportunities for extra credit and support. I found unstuckstudy to be a helpful study tool alongside the textbook and in-class resources.

Course was amazing, just be prepared for a large course load and plenty of homework. Professor provides plenty of extra credit opportunities plus helpful study guides, he also allows study guides on exams and the final which is nice :)

AMAZING professor!! Lectures are super engaging and you can tell he genuinely wants you to succeed. Even though there is a lot of work in this class, it is definitely manageable.

Absolutely fantastic professor! He has engaging lectures geared towards making the material as easy to understand as possible, and was very clear about the homework/quiz/test expectations. He is both a wonderful person and teacher, and while his class is time consuming, anyone has the ability to succeed with the help he offers.

Overall he is an amazing professor, it is a lot of homework but it balances out with everything. He gives a lot of extra credit which will really boost your grade. Lectures you don't need to attend but I would as he connects everything back to real life examples, other topics, etc. Lab you do need to attend but is flexible. Would take again.
