Dr.Jones was a very understanding professor and actually made the lectures interesting. Usually a quiz at the end of the week but if you attend the lectures you will for sure understand the quiz. There are around 2 assignments due each week but pretty easy. Overall an easy class and also learn a lot.

The BEST professor! He is so understanding and really makes the class enjoyable. There were 2 reading/writing assignments per week but they were very informative. There is a quiz online each week but everything pertains to the lectures so take good notes! The requirements were clear, I definitely recommend this class!

He's the best! Literally the nicest teacher and he ACTUALLY responses if you email him. Theres short quizzes once a week based off of the lecture; the answers are in the notes you take attending the class. Final was 2 part questions. First question was 1 page; second question was 2-3 pages. TAKE HIM YOU WONT REGRET IT!!

Dr. Jones is an amazing professor who makes history interesting! His lectures are engaging--you do not have to read the textbook if you show up to class. Participation is key in this class. Midterms and finals are both essays, but he makes himself available for help.

Dr. Jones has very good lectures with lots of audience interaction, very entertaining lectures but for me they were very boring. Necessarily, you could miss out on the lectures and still pass the class without any difficulty, he has a few assignments and as long as you do them you will easily pass the class. HIST 11

The way class was set up was that MW were lecture days and F you were with a grad student, and that was mandatory! Loved the class, and I am not a big history person, but he made it fun, and the HW was super easy just make sure you read the article (barley 2 pages) and you'll be good!!

The mandatory aspect is that on Fridays, you must go with your assigned grad student where participation matters!! His lectures are really fun and this is coming from someone who does not like history much; he always makes them engaging and non boring. HW wise it was just 2 assignments a week and had some sort of reading which was not long.

Does not take attendance, however highly recommend going to class as his course is lecture heavy. Talks a lot but open to questions and perspectives. Take good notes for final essays and discussions. I did not buy a textbook, he used a textbook online which was free to access.

Dr. Jones is great, he wants you to succeed in the class, and he always tries his best at offering his help to us. Only eight assignments in total, all part of a large research proposal we complete at the end of the semester. You meet with him one on one twice, and at the end of the semester your final grade is determined based on what you've done.

Professor Jones is one of the best history professors at Fresno state. I don't like history very much but his lectures were so interesting that I ended up really liking learning in his class. There's weekly assignments that you have to keep up on but they're not hard at all. It's an easy class but you will learn a lot.
