Great workouts!!
Take this class for your PE!
Definitely recommend
Easy, fun class.
Brandon is a certified bucket. His basketball class is great. He doesn't judge or grade you based on your talent or ability but solely on the fact that you are giving your best effort. Class consists of skill development skills, games like knockout or HORSE, and pick-up games. Show up, ball out, get a good grade.
this is the easiest gym class imo, but not boring! this class is what you make it, I love how much freedom you have to focus on whatever you want in the gym.
Great instructor he was always there before our meeting time setting things up for our class that day. He kept his students interested by switching activities up so we were doing different things each class period.
Coach Copeland made basketball very fun and easy to understand.
A great class to take if you want to get in shape
Mr. Copeland was really fun to hang around with. Through his class, I think I was able to pick a few tricks to become better at basketball as a whole! Having a teacher you can laugh with is a sign of a good teacher and Mr. Copeland definitely fits that bill!

Just show up and workout and you will pass the class. You can skip 4 times during the semester which comes in handy because it's an early class and sometimes difficult to wake up for.

I believe that his class can be taken by anyone at any fitness level. It can be enjoyable as if you know nothing you can still receive a good workout as Mr. Copeland is very willing to help.
Mr. Copeland is very encouraging and creates workouts that are both easy and hard. He is willing to work with you to achieve the best workout.
If you already go to the gym to lift, take this because now you get credit for it. Brandon allows you to do your own thing or if you don't know what to do, you can do a circuit he provides.
Great guy! If you have a workout routine already he will let u stick with that. And if u dont he will help you make one. Essentially he lets you make the course ur own

An enjoyable class, and the professor is easy enough to talk to in person,but, needs to improve on communication outside of class.
Great to ask questions to while working out for tips. Helps to make sure you are doing exercises right.

It was a weight training class so while there were some papers and notes it was hands on and time to exercise.
Coach B is very motivating and caters workouts to your skill level and will show you how to do moves you may not know.
Great class if you need to perfect your workouts or even if you need a PE credit but are a regular at the gym.
Had a lot of fun with all the different activities. The games were competitive yet very fun. I would encourage anyone to take this as their gym credit.

Mr. Copeland was always in a good mood and ready to interact with the class every day. Was super creative with new ideas to keep the class involved and fun and responsive to new ideas from students.
I enjoyed the class. It took me a while to ease into basketball again but it was nice getting back into the gym.
It is a pass/fail class so if you do not show up you dont pass.

Took him for Weight Training II at HPU which was Pass/Fail. The only way you can fail is not showing up to work out. Just go, sign in, and work out for the class time and you will pass.

While my class was not able enter the gym until the last two classes, professor Copeland provided us a comprehensive workout for each class. He responds to comments made and will even provide you workouts to do in your free time if you ask him. Great class and great exercise. Would recommend

This class was great!
Due to COVID, the class was online, however, he gave lots of great exercises through zoom. He's a great guy who cares about all his students. Even if you have physical limitations, you can still take this class because he will provide modifications or alternatives. Definitely would recommend this course.
Just an all around great guy. Class started on zoom which was a little odd given it was a basketball course but he made it far more enjoyable and light than any other course I had to sit through on zoom.
This class started online, which for a basketball class was very strange. However, he made the online workouts genuinely enjoyable and made it a lot of fun when we could finally go out and play basketball in person. I would absolutely recommend any of his classes for your PE credit!
Brandon Copeland will go out of his way to help you with your goals. He gives good feedback and is really easy to reach out to.

Great Professor! Gives you the choice of what you would like to do with the time. I was able to stick to my normal weight lifting schedule which was great. Always extremely friendly and just an all-around great person to talk with.
Brandon is a really amazing teacher. Feels like you're talking with a friend. He clearly loves what he does and pushes you to better yourself throughout the class. Attendance is mandatory, but 110% worth it.
Great coach, took him for weight training. Just show up and do your own thing unless you want a planned training course or help he will help you. He's so funny!
I took him for my gym credit, weight training. You sign in at the beginning and sign out when you finish working out. He will give you exercise ideas or you can go off on your own. It's basically a free hour to workout in the gym and I would definitely recommend!
He was able to direct us really well and organized games for us to participate in. Despite my shoulder injury and difficulty engaging in physical activity, I respected his charisma, understanding, and propensity to compete with the students in the class.
That he is a very cool and respected teacher, if we were down a person in class he would step in to play with us for that class period so the teams would be even.
After taking two classes with you that I really enjoyed, I want to take another one. I would recommend this class to anyone. Thanks for a great semester and have a great summer!

This course was the perfect PE credit. Allowed students to have their own time weight training and offered assistance as needed. Be sure to show up to class every week.

Very easy course - all you have to do is go to the driving range once a week and hit a bucket of golf balls. Make sure you bring your own clubs!
Super chill class if you need an extra college credit or a good workout. He has weekly workouts that are really good and help you learn more about exercising. It's a chill and fun time with the coach and other students. Definitely recommend!

He is a very passionate workout instructor and helped teach us awesome new workouts. His class was one that keeps people active because it is HIIT training and requires hard work to fulfill. He always brings good energy and is someone who makes going to workout a pleasure. He has lots of knowledge about various workouts.

This class is a super fun way to get one credit. It is Pass/Fail and your grade is solely based on attendance. If you like golf and want to work on your game this is an excellent opportunity to do so.

Take golf if you are looking for a PE credit. Copeland is awesome as he allows to you show up, hit balls on the range, and leave when you are finished. This is an easy pass as long as you consistently show up.

Honestly, working with Mr. Copeland felt like having your own personal trainer in class. Exercises were explained in depth, with proper technique and form demonstrated to boot. Struggling with a last set? He had your back. Would recommend his training to anyone looking for the right motivation to get back in the gym.
Mr. Copeland was a great teacher for PEC-1302-01! He is super knowledgeable about fitness and as a moderate level fitness doer, I learned new exercises that challanged me in a good way! The workouts were set for people of all abilities and fitness training levels. 10/10 recommend for a class with a cool guy and great workouts!
