I found Professor Leonard on YouTube and I cannot thank him enough for what he does. I realized math was never taught properly to me. He makes everything easy to understand and fun. And what I love the most is he never puts down his students for not knowing something and welcomes questions and is eager to help. I would have dropped out without him

My one regret is not finding his videos sooner. I was on the verge of failing Calc 2 and found his YouTube channel the last month of class. Professor Leonard is absolutely amazing and has helped me an insane amount in my math classes. In community college I watched his videos whenever I struggled in calculus. Then when I transferred to UC Davis and had to take Linear Algebra I was so sad that he did not have videos for the class, but now I am so excited for his Differential Equations!

Like many others, I do not attend Merced. I go to University of California and his lectures on YouTube got me through one of the harder calc 3 courses (engineering) with an A.

I never met him IRL but I found out about his Youtube channel while struggling in my Uni Calc 2 class. Without him, I wouldn't have passed that class with an A+. He literally is the best professor I have ever seen. Even though I only watch, I can feel how much he cares about his students and even his youtube audience.

Very nice and amazing teacher

Years ago, my high school calc teacher recommended watching his YouTube videos to study for exams. He goes over problems step by step and breaks them down, rather than saying "this goes here and that goes there" as other professors do. I've never physically attended his class, but I still consider him to be the best math teacher I've ever had!

Professor Leonard is the best professor I have ever encountered. He makes learning calculus actually enjoyable and explains the "why" aspect of concepts. He does not just tell students to memorize this and that like some professors. He goes step-by-step through the problems and his explanations are very clear. Plus, he is very funny!

He teaches omni-well also he is hilarious, easy going ....what I can say about his operandi is that he feeds you the course in your mouth - himself - and he makes it taste delicious. Prof Leonard's YouTube Calc lectures are the best I have seen out there. He makes sure students understand the material and doesn't rush through content like most Profs teaching Calc. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to learn calc in general, but especially if you need elaboration on more difficult concepts his lectures are the best resource.

I use a lot of online resources to get me through my classes, but what I appreciate is that Professor Leonard gives you the "why" with the "how." Too often I have found myself learning how to do something, but end up with a ton of gaps in my understanding. He does an excellent job of bridging them. Professor Leonard, I am so grateful for you.

He taught me everything I needed for my calc course! He's lectures on YouTube explained the concept in a simplified way that I haven't seen any calc professor teach this way!

I found him on youtube, after watching his videos religiously, I made a 94 in precal. A 98 in calc 1 and a 90 in calc 2. I am about to take calculus 3 and hope to make a similar grade. He is my main source of information, my professors are secondary to him and channels like KhanAcademy and OrganicChem come 3rd ranking.

Professor Leonard's youtube lectures literally got me through all my calc classes. He is a godsend and a fantastic professor. If he doesn't already have tenure please give it to him. He's able to break down concepts that seem SO intimidating - I got into UCLA only because he got me through my math classes. Even at UCLA I come back to his lectures.

I was having a tough time with calc III but professor Leonard literally saved me. With his help I got an A!

One of the best math teachers out there. The lectures are super clear and helpful, and unstuckstudy ai was a lifesaver for prepping. No textbook needed - just focus on the videos and you'll be good to go.

Prof. Leonard is the GOAT of YouTube. He has helped me a ton since grade 11 and now I'm in winter session of yr 1. My physics teacher in gr 11 could hardly explain vectors so I watched his few videos on vectors and because of that I finished with 98. Now in uni where they throw proofs right in first year at UofToronto, he saved me for integration.

I used professor Leonard for Calc 1, Calc 2, and Diff eq so far. I was able to fall behind and get right back on track before exams came around thanks to his easy to understand explanations. I've been lucky to have great teachers and professors who were passionate about teaching Calculus so I've developed a passion for it too. However, no one comes close to the level of depth and communicating a new topic to their students as Professor Leonard does.
